Roy: "Good thing I'm not meaty in the slightest."

Lulu: "Well that's comforting."

Bruce: Shit. Chaotic-Evil Ents.

Ironscales: Well, golly, that's fucked up.

-sniff sniff-

You guys smell that? -nods northwards-

Asagi: No, but you can. What are you smelling?

-Follows the big lizard, both because he knows what he's doing and because he's sufficiently intimidating-

Ironscales: Smells like the aftermath of being served a Lukowski special.

Roy: "Better be something good."

-*Roy and Lulu follow Ironscales."

-Dustin sniffs the air-

I can smell it too with my Warmblood nose

Oliver: -to Ironscales- You got something, boy?

Bruce: Timmy must be in the well.

Asagi: They have wells on this planet?

-As the group follows Ironscales, they find themselves gradually beginning to discover a trail, as they are getting closer to what ever the smell is being generated by and therefore the trail is fresher, with things such as empty canteens and also med supplies left behind.-

-oh also, there are some more tracks in the ground now, that are clearly visible. There are foot prints, then two straight lines to the side of those foot prints that appear to be pursuing. The space marine actually stops to look down at the tracks for a bit-

Einar: "Oh shit, I think we're in Jumbo's territory. This could either end great or very very badly."

Scipio

Oliver: Jumbo?

-Elena, in the meanwhile, swipes two separate fingers over the normal tracks and the lines, and then opens the glowing green flask at her side and hovers her hand over the opening-

Roy: "Hm, mind tellin' us who this Jumbo fella is?"

Lulu: @Elena "Hey, whatcha doing there?"

Asagi: Who exactly is Jumbo?

Jumbo, as in that circus elephant with huge ears

Elena: -to Lulu- Training my scoutflies. They'll be able to help us keep track of the scent of the people we're trying to find.

As well as... whatever that Jumbo is.

Oliver: -to Dustin- Idunno why, but something tells me "Jumbo" is a hell of a lot scarier than an elephant.

I better hope that's not the case

Lulu: "Heh, that sounds cool."

Should we follow the trail?

Einar: “it’s one of our tanks. Jumbo has a particularly active machine spirit, so we let it prowl around in this area in between missions to let it hunt and burn off energy.”

-the space marine goes back to following the tracks-

Einar: “I’m just hoping the investigation team didn’t irritate it otherwise we’re gonna need a lot of body bags.”

So basically, you let a skyscraper-sized battle animatronic loose around here so as to keep its joints lubricated and working, right?

Einar: "Make another smartass remark like that and I'm going to feed you to a bog leech."

Whoa whoa whoa, I'm not here to be food to the wildlife, okay? It's my response to the robot. I'm new here after all

Asagi: ...Dude, it's just a tank. Let's just like follow the tracks. A tank that thinks like Einar can't be a bad guy.

-And so she goes following the tracks-

-As the group continues on, you find that despite the fact this is supposedly a 'highly dangerous world', the wild life is actually pretty willing to leave you alone if you don't screw with it first. However the odd thing is that eventually you end up at another clearing...one that looks like it has only been cleared recently in the same day considering the ground is scorched bare of grass but there's also weird green ichor splattered around the area, along with some imperial guard equipment scattered around the area, some of it also covered in ichor-

Einar: "it looks like we missed a party"

-The ratty smell Ironscales is tracking is coming from a hat hanging from a tree branch on the edge of the scorched area-
