Not always. Sometimes the first two while doing ok take longer to wear down my Mon and I wonder why they don't go with the one that can finish fast. It feels like they want an opponent to agonize whether they're going to win and lose just for the sake of spite rather than a complex strategy needed to win.
A variation of what you mentioned about how they try like they have a chance even if they know full well they aren't going to win or expect to.
As usual, Niantic is three steps behind and simply out-of-touch with the playerbase.
And as strawberryflavored said, to this day it's still not open for everyone. You need an invite from someone who already has login access for you to be able to login.
Which is so freakin' stupid.
No wonder people don't care about using it, they can't even use it in the first place.
Saw my second Galarian bird, Galarian Articuno. It was floating high above me, looking down on me, scoffing at my feeble attempt at catching it. Broke the one ball and fled.
I don't think I've ever seen pokemons with a ring more red than that.
How is one even meant to catch them?

Low CP is preferable, anyway, since that means lower level, which also makes them a bit easier to catch.

I figure that, at least out of the SV mons we know about already, Paldean Wooper or maybe Wiglett would the easiest/quickest ones to add for a SV launch event if they do one.

Did an update seem to put the game on fast-forward for anyone else? Suddenly all the animations and transitions are almost twice as fast, and smoother. Not that I’m complaining.

Mostly because I want the other one more and, based on some datamining and other formatting notes, users seem to believe that both will be Raid bosses soon enough. Meanwhile getting another Cosmoem seems to be far on the backburner for Niantic.
If I'm waiting on raids for the one I want, I'd rather have the one I'm more meh about with already very meh stats.

Hello! Bit of an odd question but as someone who played the game around release and is considering coming back now, is it still possible to capture Meltan and Gimmighoul's roaming form? Won't be upset if they can't, I'm getting a new phone soon and the weak processor on my current phone is the reason I left years ago.
Meltan's still around, yeah. Unless I'm mistaken, Gimmighoul (Roaming Form) is yet to appear. Well, appear properly, they were wandering for a bit.
Gimmighoul's roaming form is not catchable yet.
Maybe that's Zorua's big brain play? They look like our buddies so that either we mistakenly take them home, or realize that it's a Zorua, and decide that we want it.
