Pokemon Go

Managed to get an Articuno and a Zapdos (already had a Moltres), though the former took two raids and it cumulatively took a large portion of my berry stash. My Kanto dex is now pretty close to completion. Few more evolutions I need to do... and Kangaskhan. Might be able to use the same remote raid discord for that one.

So the game had an update because I noticed the following:

• Legendaries and mythicals can now be mass transferred, but you'll get an extra warning to confirm you want to transfer.

• Feeding your buddy has them take only one bite instead of several, speeding up the process.

Remember the Kanto Fest problem where people who didn't buy the ticket gets the special tasks anyway?

Niantic finally gave compensation for those who did buy, by giving extra items.

......except, truly in the usual dumb Niantic fashion, you must work hard doing a set of new timed research tasks to get the items.

And that's not even the "best" part

Niantic allows people who had the special tasks by accident to keep the tasks anyway, meaning the only difference between those who paid and those who don't, are a bunch of cheap, easy to get items (aside from the 2 Elite TMs).

So it's not a surprise either that many people only gets enraged even more. People are expecting and requesting for the event to be repeated for ticket holders only, with higher shiny chance, but all we got are a bunch of tasks for cheap items.

Credit where it's due: 100 Mew Candy is fairly notable. The rest really does sound like a joke, though. This is more or less what I expect of Niantic, though. I was genuinely shocked when, back with that one Go Fest I did, they did an actual make-up event instead of a cop-out.

Wow, they remembered a Kalos mon fletchling!

Got 4 Shiny Fletchling in the short time I can play, which is nice.

I got a bunch of shinies but no high IV.

I was more excited by the triple catch XP.

At least Niantic shows they're aware of the meme, the special ticketed little research for the Fletchling community day is titled "The Bravest Bird" lmao

I don't know since when, but I just found out Niantic FINALLY fixed Glameow's hitbox.

Only took them what, 2 years to fix such a simple thing?

Neat, looks like you can now select an egg and see what Pokemon might hatch out of it.

With almost-invisible rankings of one to five eggs corresponding to, presumably, rarity; the more eggs a Pokémon has, the less likely it is to hatch from that egg. (Using egg icons to talk about an egg makes the terminology confusing.) Anyone know how to convert that to a percentage, or something?

Wow, who thought it was good idea to give Therian Thundurus a small size?

Argh, shiny Smeargle hunting is frustrating. Used up all my photobombs for today, and nothing yet.

Heads-up: you can now evolve Eevee into Sylveon by earning around 70 hearts with it as your buddy. Or, for one time only, nickname your Eevee "Kira" and then evolve it.

Done it for my lucky Eevee.

Saw the buzz online so I rushed to evolve the shiny eevee I've been sitting on. But there was one catch: the event only goes live at 10 am local time. I was an hour too soon, got a shiny Vaporeon instead.

You should only evolve if you see the silhouette.

I'll be honest, after seeing all seven stages for the latest luminary quests and their prizes, etc. and how much you'll need to do for each, I'm really not feeling up to doing any of it. Seems like a lot of work for very little.

Yeah I was tired and forgot about that. :(

I wonder if you can get shiny G-Zigzagoon from eggs
