Xion pulled Ranma up, smiling at him. "You see? I'm not going to judge you for anything, I promise."

She sighed and looked around. "What are they gonna put us through, anyway? I kinda want us to get out of here as quickly as possible..."

Evan began to notice a few odd things about Tsuyu- mainly her face and the way she kept repeating 'ribbit'- things that reminded him of his fellow students back home. That was enough to draw a small, if not careful smile from him. "I guess... I guess I overreacted." He muttered, very ashamed by his actions. Without giving a second thought, Evan made sure to shake both chaos and Tsuyu's hands, although he couldn't really bring himself to look at them when chaos mentioned his team.

"Well, uh..." He motioned for them to come closer. "Truth is, the announcer guy isn't wrong when he said I have the potential to be the worst of them all... it's a complicated story, but they must have seen that part of me and thought I was supposed to be with those guys. I'm not a bad guy— I swear! I haven't even cursed in my life! Not once!"

——

"A pleasure to meet you, Teppei—"

Clark was surprised not only by Genos' strength and reflexes, but also by how easily he had ignored his request. All that he had asked was for people to stop trying to hurt each other... and there they were, going at it again. Is it that hard for them to just listen? Coming to the conclusion he wasn't going to stop any fighting, Clark decided to focus on the second best thing.

"Anyone who can't hold your own against that," He said, standing up and trying to find out if anyone had been injured. "Go as far away as possible. I'll try and contain the damage."

At Clark's bidding, Soldier - who had taken the opportunity to extract himself from the wall - threw off a salute, grabbing his battered rocket-launcher from one corner of the room and slinging it over his shoulder.

"Ten hut!" he shouted at the other members of Team Hero. "Let's move, ladies! We have an apartment to conquer!" Whether or not they followed the - admittedly demented- patriot, Solider marched out the door, following the other heroes. "Ten hut! One! Two! Three! Four! Keep up or die trying!"

"But you reckoned without me, humans!" The Renegade GoBot lumbered into position behind Myotismon as the growing conflict threatened to boil over into something far more destructive. "The name is Cy-Kill - the mightiest GoBot there ever was! You!" He pointed at Genos- the human had clearly tried to augment himself with mechanical implants at some point, crude and imperfect compared to the engineered perfection of Cy-Kill's own Gobotic chassis. "Fight alongside me, and I'll see that you receive a proper cybernetic upgrade! True Gobotic perfection at your very fingertips!"

"But fight alongside this platitude-spewing dolt-" he pointed at Clark - "and I'll have no regrets in sending you and your mechanical mockery of an upgrade straight to the scrap heap!"

Teppei had barely introduced himself, when things suddenly escalated again. The robot guy on their team attacked the weird caped guy, and another robot stepped forward from the bad guys to spout some idiotic threats. The scene was like something from a cartoon, and while part of him wanted to get excited about it he wasn't going to do something like that in a dangerous situation like this.

Turning to stand beside Clark, Teppei looked up at him and nodded. "I'll help."

Anyone watching him would notice a change that was almost too quick to catch, as his skin changed to a dark black, his small horns thickened and lengthened considerably above his head, two almost-flat protrusions curled out from behind his ears and to his cheeks, and his fingers thickened into large claws.

"Just try something, you ugly robot." Said the now almost demonic boy.

Yumil

Damn it. Of course. But why? Why did people always go straight to trying to kill each other? There wasn't even any good reason to right now. Well, if they weren't going to stop fighting, then Yumil would make them.

Well, Neaki would. But because he'd told her to!

"Now!" He hissed, and braced himself for the weariness that was about to hit him.

"Hah!" With that unintelligible gasp, the fairy-like Ice Spirit floating by his shoulder suddenly became a human-sized Ice Spirit standing beside him. She raised her staff.

For a scant few seconds, the room became the epicentre of a very localized blizzard. Anyone gearing up for a fight - or, for that matter, outright fighting - would find their feet encased in ice and frozen to the floor, no matter whether they were Hero or Villain. It wouldn't be too much trouble to break out of, but it would at least take a little effort.

"All of you! Stop fighting!" Yumil shouted to the room in general. Anyone listening closely enough might notice he sounded a little short of breath. "This is senseless. At least... At least wait until we're given our first challenge." He still didn't like that. He didn't much want the prize, either. But what could he do? Fight his way across the boundaries between worlds? Hardly.

He said all this while sitting cross-legged in the middle of the opening between the hallway and lounge, attempting to look simultaneously serene and commanding - as well as trying to hide the fact that such a precise spell had taken most of his energy, and he didn't trust his legs to hold him up properly for at least another few minutes

Ranma Saotome

"Thanks... friend." The words were sweet on his tongue, palatable just to say and just as enjoyable to hear. The pigtailed boy felt a very rare state of zen and relaxed, though with his burden being lifted his sharp mind sprang back into calculating what to do next. "At the moment, we're basically expected to fight and mess with the other side. I can already hear people not being shy with that part." Indeed, true to Ranma's words were the sounds of explosions and gunshots along with other various amounts of violence. "Chances are, we'll to be forced to abandon pride and dignity for people's amusement, forced to jump when our 'masters' say so." This was spat out with no small amount of disgust, already remembering situations far too much like the show.

"Me, I've been in situations like this a buncha times so I got experience I guess. Best bet for now would be to find like-minded folks like us, safety in numbers. People we can at least sort of half trust, if not to help us out of the kindness of their heart then because it'd benefit them to help us out. A scratch my back and I'll scratch yours kinda deal." Pausing to contemplate a bit more, the boy began to spin his theories. "But here, both you and me are on the 'good guys'. So this might mean there would be people more willing to band up and cooperate than the other side. Our job would be much easier if we can find more friends." The way that the martial artist said that implied that he genuinely wanted to believe that there were more people like Xion out there, a silver lining in this sort of situation. "It'd make our tenure here at least more bearable if we could trust enough people."

Rose

"For now, do not draw attentions to ourselves and needlessly enter any conflict." Patiently explaining her thoughts to the Nasod Queen, Rose straightened back up and got into 'business mode', her mannerisms slightly like that of an instructor. "Secondly, use sensors and such to gain data on capabilities and abilities of foreign elements discreetly, especially those over on the 'Villain Side' since they sound and behave exactly as they are deemed. We keep our information fresh and up to date, find possible counters to specific enemies, and when engaged should act in a most resolute manner so all harm is done to them instead of us."

Xion nodded, following along. "Yeah, I think this team is going to glue together much better than the Villain team. Bad guys can't stand each other. Trust me, I know."

She scratched her neck. "Maybe we should just...keep our heads down for the time being? I mean, everyone's already fighting, and I'd like to keep my own death to a minimum for now..." She cringed at the the thought of dying again, hoping they at least had some way around the amnesiac effects of her death. "And besides, if this is a reality show type of deal, we're probably being...watched right now..."

Myotismon

The Vampiric Digimon nearly laughed manically at the sight of the blasted armored human fleeing from his cloud of familiar bats and then being hit anyway and sent towards the ceiling. But then he jumped off the wall and boosted himself not towards Myotismon, but something else, the briefcase he had dropped earlier after pushing the other human away.

Myotismon sneered again as he got an idea to catch the damn human by surprise and prevent whatever it was he was trying to do, but then ... His feet were suddenly frozen solid to the floor, as someone made a stupid and naive speech about it being senseless to fight right now. That didn't even warrant a response, so he pointedly ignored them for now, planning to fleece them for it later. In anycase, fortunately his plan didn't require him to move for now, so their actions were meaningless anyway.

Unlike before, he executed his next move with a simple and silent gesture, lifting the briefcase before the human reached it, throwning it up and then down in a wide arc, aimed at the human's backside, with enough force to knock him off his trajectory and hopefully enough to also send him crashing to the ground. Whatever the case, if the object had hit its target, we would then move it towards himself, planning to catch it and try to use its contents against its presumed owner.

Shun

The effeminate green haired boy looked in dismay at Ryuko's response. "It might be. Don't get me wrong, I can certainly fight to defend myself and others and I have also being forced to kill in order to prevent my world from being destroy a few times already. But it's never something that comes easy to me ..." He paused, looking in deep thought, before giving off along sigh and adding, "But I suppose this a similar situation, isn't? Only that it may be worse, because multiple worlds seem to at stake ... Fine, i can't promise to actively seek to attack and kill like this twisted game seems to be requiring of us, but if any of them attacks anyone of you guys or me, I won't shy away from it either. This I, Shun, Bronze Saint of Andromeda, swear in the name of Athena!"

He then turned in the direction of the Tanuki as she gently touched his arm and reassured him by sharing to have a similar view on the issue. He smiled gently as she left and called out, "Don't worry, I will stay here and get to the bottom of the situation with this "game". We should meet up later and talk." After that, she would just wait until Liberty explained himself about the supposed punishments.

chaos, who knows a little something about fate

"I see..." chaos nodded in understanding and leaned in, lowering his voice enough to hopefully evade the hearing of any potential eavesdroppers, "Well, Evan, most people have the capacity for both great good and terrible evil — at least, that's what I think — and even if they were right about your potential, your fate isn't a thing set in stone. What matters most isn't merely your potential, but your own will, and your own—"

"All of you! Stop fighting! This is senseless. At least... At least wait until we're given our first challenge."

Under the current unusual circumstances, chaos might have wholly ignored the voice of one more person pleading for peace that wasn't about to come so easily, but the short ice-storm quickly changed his mind.

"Huh..." The white-haired man stared thoughtfully over at Yumil for a moment and made a mental note to talk to him in particular later on, then turned back to Evan, brushing off a bit of icy white from a shoulder as he did.

"Anyway," he whispered, "if that's the case, why not just stay with us? I doubt they would make the two 'teams' they created sleep in the same room, and I'm sure we can find a place for you, if you like."

Tohsaka Rin; Or, Unsnarling Chronology

"Diarmuid Ua Duibhne, huh?"

The woman's guard was clearly still up; it showed in her eyes and her posture and the way she held her right hand, last three fingers curled as if ready to form a finger-gun.

"Well, Diarmuid, it'll take a lot more than your true name for me to trust you. You're the only Servant around here, anyway, so who you are hardly matters. I'm Rin, the Sixth Head of the Tohsaka Clan and Lady of Fuyuki City."

She looked straight at him, taking care to avoid the mole.

"You don't need to recognize the name. I was just returning the courtesy. Now, Diarmuid, two questions. Which War did you fight in, and who's your Master?"

The questions were serious. It was plain that a lot rode on their answers.

Kotomine Kirei; Or, Holy Diving

"You would not do well to slight me, young Brando. You have ears to hear, do you not? Then hear. It may prove that I know you better than you know yourself."

I follow him like a panther. It is plain that my intuition did not fail me. His hips sway with studied insolence, the spurs on his leather boots clacking like broken bells. His legs are bent as if by years in the saddle. His turquoise turtleneck, sewn all with silver lines that mesh into diamonds, serves only to accentuate his chiseled frame. And his helmet is limned, in bright slanted gold, with the letters that spell the holy name.

"You saw the power of the one named Kent. Do you think that you can stand against him? Or would you be trampled under him, mangled like grass beneath shoed hooves?"

I come very close, close enough almost to take a lock of his golden hair between my jagged teeth.

"He is the Superman. They do not call him that for nothing. Yet verily, verily I say to you - in another life, when the name on your helmet was your own, you burnt Clark Kent to a crumbling crisp, and drank deep of his Kryptonian corpse."

I slip in front of him, my hands behind my back. My shadow falls across him like the spectre of a towering clock.

"I do not expect you to understand everything that I have said, for you are still young. I cannot bring you to the heights that you once held, or will hold, or still have. It is not within my power. But if you seek your purpose, I can show you the way."

I spread my arms in solemn invitation.

"I am Kotomine Kirei, a humble demon of the Lord. I knew you once as Dio Brando. For years I sought you in vain; now you have returned to me unbidden. Nascent. Waiting. Ready to be born."

And then the pretense of gravity is gone, and the smirk plays sharp across my lips, so taut that I fear my mouth will burst.

"Young Brando, you are the answer to my prayers. Come. I will lead you to Heaven for your name's sake."

Those who decided to enter the Bedrooms would find near-identical scenes in each. Both bedrooms had a variety of different-sized beds, each bearing the name of a member of the team. To the right-hand side of the beds sat a bedside table with a reading lamp atop it, to the left hand side sat a wardrobe containing a variety of outfits from their home universe. Above the head of the bed was a mirror. The only real difference between the bedrooms were the number and sizes of the beds, and the decor: red and black for the villains, blue and white for the heroes.

Anyone who entered the bathroom would find it a relatively simple affair. Bathroom and changing stalls lined the walls, and a double-row of sinks divided the middle, a mirror atop each. At the end of room sat a free-standing sauna, to the right of that the Women's Showers, and to the left of that the Men's Showers. Don't worry, they're shower stalls, not a big open one.

The kitchen was the stereotypical type: a row of counters containing all the needed utilities up against the wall, a walkway, then a kitchen island. The fridge, the pantries, the utensil cupboards and drawers, even the fruitbowls were are automatically refilling: once an item was eaten or destroyed, it was replaced.

If anyone approached the game table that divided the lounge and the kitchen, they would find it offering a holographic interface, from which any sort of table-based game could be selected. Once selected, the table would morph to fit said game. Everything from pool and snooker, to beer pong, to Dungeons and Dragons could be selected.

The same would be found with the astroturf field outside, having options ranging from all types of football, rugby, and basketball, to minigolf and paintball, and even obstacle courses which must remain unnamed for copyright reasons.

The freestanding bookshelves in the lounge simply had every book under the sun. At the very least, all the non-magical ones that could be found in the multiverse. I recommend The Man With Two Souls 2: The Man With Four Souls. Huge improvement over the first book, and it provides a nice recap so you can jump right into the action. Or if you're looking for a different kind of action, you can't go wrong with Ninjas of Love.

Liberty gulped as Kage strolled up to him and started brandishing a really sharp-looking knife.

"Uh... they want you to know his connection to the chaos gods has been weakened, and he won't be sprouting demons or mutations anytime soon. Could you put that away, please? Otherwise I can't answer everyone el-"

And for the third time in as many minutes, Liberty's cranium was perforated by high-speed metal. Another turret was the culprit, and this one sank into the wall as quick as the last. The only difference was that Kage was momentarily covered in blood splatter and chunks of brain matter.

Once Liberty revived, again a few meters down the hall, the brain matter would have disappeared. The blood, less so.

"Okay, I gotta get through these quickly. No, Wulfrik, the producers will not face you in single combat. Stop asking. There's no lab, Wesker, and the teams get a dorm room each. Yumil, Clark, stop trying to halt fights."

Yumil's ice was soon melted away as the floor heated up just enough to do so, and the water drained away through imperceptible micro-drains.

"And the reward and punishment thing is simple. After every challenge, the winners get a reward and the losers get a punishment. The winners have to go through the Golden Arch to get to the reward room, and the losers have to go through the Grey Arch to get to the punishment room. So not as to kill your motivation by offering an unwanted reward, the rewards and punishments will be kept a secret until after the challenge. Nothing kinky, though. I can't do kinky. I've been spayed."

The frown that had grown on his face became his trademark cheesy grin again, and he jogged up to the Silver Arch.

"But now, to business! Unfortunately, due to social media outcry, Lena "Tracer" Oxton has been evicted from the house. She has been returned to her home universe, safe and sound."

"However, we have two new contestants to introduce, both for Team Villain! First off is Yaone, a youkai who is incredibly thankful that pharmacists don't have to swear to "do no harm"! Second up, Kamuz the Demon Bandit is a liar, cheat and a bully, and is definitely not angel, or even a Valkyrie!"

Both Villains would find themselves pushed out of a bright white tear in reality that opened in the Silver Arch, before closing behind them.
Prior to being deposited, however, both Yaone and Kamuz would have found themselves in a tiny cubicle each , completely restrained by invisible forcefields, and forced to sit through hastily-edited footage from only a few minutes earlier, of Liberty explaining the situation and making the introductions of everyone who hadn't left the house. The footage ended with a title card proclaiming the team they were on (Villain, for both), before the viewing screen erupted into a bright white portal and automated pistons pushed them through.
"It is truly a pleasure to see you again, Menardi, even if we are forced to be opponents." Tesseract said. "It is good that you have found new purpose in life, even if it is to simply atone for your past deeds."

Tesseract glanced down at Tira's routine, before glancing back up and shrugging apologetically at Menardi.

"Apologies, but I have some business to attend to."

Tesseract pulled a gun from beneath his coat, and aimed it at the young woman's head. As he did this, he idly took note of Superman revealing his identity. Clark Kent, famous reporter for the Daily Planet, presumed killed in the Battle of New York. Now that it was pointed out to him, he could see the resemblance, and in fact the laissez faire nature of journalism would fit the superhero lifestyle perfectly. Perhaps Spider-Man also worked for a newspaper.

"Tira, you attempted this very same trick during the Dublin Incident. My letting you go there was a direct cause of what I am avenging upon you now. It shall not work a second time."

He pulled the trigger, and a bolt of green plasma shot towards the multi-personalitied assassin.

Yaone was panicking slightly as the situation was explained to her. Though unable to move, her thoughts were going in circles. However, she did notice that none of those names belonged to anyone she knew. She...was not sure how to feel about this. Glad as she was that neither Lirin-chan or Kougaiji-sama had to be here, it would've nice to have Dokugakuji here, or Hakkai-dono, or anyone she knew she could trust. Especially since many of the people (based on their introductions) didn't seem particularly nice. She was also concerned that Kougaiji-sama wouldn't have her services available, and he needed all the allies he could get.

One upside, however, is that with some of the technology that was apparently at stake, it was possible that Kougaiji-sama's mother could be revived, without needing help from Gyokumen Koushu. Without that hanging over his head, he could be him, instead of who she wanted him to be. Let alone what it would do for Lirin to have a mother who didn't only love her for her use in experimentation.

For those two, she would win this.

Before she could continue with those thoughts however, she found herself pushed out into a room full of people. Looking a little lost, she just awkwardly stood there.

Yumil

"But-!" Yumil tried to protest. Stop trying to halt fights? How could he? The words died on his lips though, as he watched his ice melt and drain away. This senseless chaos... wasn't something he could stop.

He tried to say more, but the words wouldn't come. Perhaps that bit of magic had taken more out of him than he'd thought. But he would not let this pass. He would not stand by while people inflicted the pain of death, if not the finality of it, over, and over, and over again, for the amusement of mindless masses.

He stood up, a little awkwardly, a lot unsteadily. If they'd just melt ice, then he'd just try something else. Wrapping everyone up in vines sounded good.

"Mieli-!" He started, but the rest of that sentence, too, failed to leave his mouth, and he keeled over forwards.

"Yumil!" Mieli gasped. The Forest Spirit, already having been about to grow to full size in anticipation of Yumil's command, rushed to catch him before he hit the ground.

That spell had definitely taken more out of him than he'd thought. Maybe he should've just frozen everyone. Less precision, less mana drain... but on the other hand, more power, more mana drain. Maybe he just shouldn't have tried at all...

"Hhh?"

"Dude! Are you okay?"

Yumil! You shouldn't strain yourself like that!"

"Are... Are you alright?"

"... Fine," Yumil muttered, a little dejectedly. There was little he could do now, like this, "just... help me over to the bedroom, maybe? I... I think I need a quick rest."

Carefully, Mieli draped Yumil's arm around her shoulders and stood up, with him leaning on her for support, and started to walk towards the Hero dorm room.

Quintet

From the kitchen drifted the sound of a certain Master-class robot humming to himself as he microwaved a bag of popcorn and blithely ignored the chaos barely a room away from him.

Tira-Gambling doesn't always pay

Tira, having her back completely turned to Tesseract and being at nearly point blank range, died almost instantly. Then, as Liberty did before her three times already, Gloomy took back control as she stalked over to Tesseract.

Alright, you fucking lapdog. Good job, you're not as fucking stupid as I thought. There, you got your one fucking kill. Happy now? Don't answer, I don't give a shit. You keep the hell out of my way from now on. Come after me again, and I'll make sure I find out what your screams sound like.

With her warning delivered, Tira turned and walked away in the direction of the kitchen at a slow enough pace that anyone who wanted to follow or stop her to talk to her had ample opportunity to do so.

Wesker-Let the plotting begin

So, no lab. Disappointing. Wesker would have to improvise. He could potentially repurpose some cooking tools and other such implements into a very crude substitute for a lab, assuming he was able to find a location to operate in private. But before he could do that, he needed samples to work with. However, these people appeared far stronger then baseline humans. This made samples all the more valuable, but at the same time made collection....problematic. He had little doubt he could overpower most, if not all in the room in a one on one fight. But they already appeared to be grouping, as rodents tended to do, and even he was not deluded enough to assume he could overpower multiple beings of unknown power alone. He needed subordinates. Not to mention, for now he wanted to keep his own power hidden. An ace in the hole, if you will. Until forced to, he would play the part of a human again.

Complicating matters further was the fact that the resurrection process appeared to remove most spare flesh from the area, even that not attached to the body. Flesh samples would be all but impossible to collect. However, the leftover blood appeared to still be around. Blood samples, he could work with. But one step at a time.

First step, subordinates. He glanced around, discounting sevral right off the bat. The one who had opened fire on exiting proved to be unstable as she suddenly broke into a crying fit, making her very undesirable. None of those around her seemed like they would be amenable to any form of acceptable long term agreement with him. One man, the one named Kage, however, drew his attention. He claimed to know of one of these people, some worshiper of chaos or the like who threatened to corrupt all around him by his presence alone. While the fool cat told him that would not happen, Wesker's curiosity had been aroused. This chaos being could be a good first target to collect viable samples to work with.

Wesker's watch beeped in a very low tone, almost impossible for anyone else in the very loud room to hear. A signal to him that it was time for his usual injection. He glanced into his coat, satisfied to see he had ample supply of the drug needed. He pulled it out, injected it into his arm, and put it away in a single motion that only took about a second. Then he turned and approached Kage.

"You there, I would have a word with you. You appear to be a reasonable sort, and I would be interested in discussing.....business." Wesker halted, clearly not wanting to go into more detail in such a public setting.

Chun-Li, Hero Bedroom

After a while, Chun-Li decided to leave the huge violent crowd to fight in the lounge. Her wandering had eventually led her to the Hero Bedrooms and coincidentally to Ranma and Xion. It was then that Chun-Li got a good look at Ranma, and more notably what Ranma was wearing.

"Not often I see a Japanese teenager favor Chinese clothing," Chun-Li noted of Ranma and his clothing sense, before sitting on the bed. "I'm Chun-Li!"

Juri, Sitting Poolside

"Whatever," Juri said of the catboy as she headed into the Kitchen and raided the fridge for a few cans of beer before heading out onto the balcony. She really did not want anything to do with the ongoing fight in the Lounge.

"A hot tub and a pool, damn!" Juri said to herself as she sat down in one of the deck chairs and had a drink. She really wanted a drink right now.

Tira's words made Menardi stop in her tracks, and her temper cooled. The mad girl's double personality was what made her so hard to stay angry with. Heck, Menardi couldn't even be sure what the girl thought of her betrayal and murder.

However, not that that made her try to stop Tesseract from trying to kill Tira.

"Yeah, we'll talk later, Tesseract," Menardi said and walked away. "See you two around."

Well, that was enough catching up with old friends. It was time to get to know her new team. And since a lot of people were busy trying out the new respawn-system on each other, Menardi opted for the calmer solution, which was to check up on the ones that had already headed for the Heroes' bedroom, and explore a bit of their new lodgings at the same time.

It was quite a luxurious place, all things considered, and Menardi was a big fan of convenience. Especially were sweet indulgences were involved. Ever since she'd lost her position as Tatu's general, she'd been a wanderer, and it was good to be in a place with hot showers and food readily available. Not that Menardi was entirely happy about being kidnapped and used for the entertainment of others, but aside from that, things were not so bad. She'd get to prove herself as a hero and live decently comfortable at the same time. And everyone trying to kill each other wasn't something she was entirely unused to either.

Already in the bedrooms were the scared young man from earlier, a mysterious girl in a long black coat, the young boy with the elemental spirits and the police officer who looked like a martial artist.

"Hello, everyone," she said cheerfully. First impressions were important. "I'm Menardi. You two doing okay, kids?" This was aimed at Ranma on the bed and the staggering Yumil. "I know healing Psynergy if you need it."

Villain's Bedroom

Running past all the ruckus, Sakura and Kerberos find an empty bedroom and close the door behind them. She pulls out a card.

"Lock!"

The door locked itself magically. She collapsed onto the floor, a cocktail of emotions.

She was scared, homesick, angry and frustrated all at once. Kerberos patted her head.

It was going to be a long day.

Unknown to either of them, they had just locked themselves in the Villain's room.

Lancer - Considerations on Question

From the same clan as the Master of Archer then. That told him little though. Tokiomi Tohsaka was a respectable mage, according to his lord, especially considering the backwater his family originated in.

"I was competing in the Fourth Holy Grail War," he said, after a brief pause. "I am afraid I cannot answer your second answer however. I will not betray my lord's confidence."

He met Rin's gaze.

Medicine

There was a lot going on. All of it a source of displeasure. The helplessness was probably the worst part, Medicine reflected. Humans, were there no depths they would not stoop to? Stripping agency from her like this, another hurdle on the road to emancipation. Had they caught wind of her agenda, was that why she had been brought here?

The company was cloying, so she wandered off. She stopped before the bedroom door. The second one, there was another with some people inside. This one however, had only one or two, that she could recall. Someone who had run off. She tried the handle. The door would not budge.

A sickening smile coming to her face, Medicine sat down in front of the door. A purple mist seeped out from where she sat, flowing under the door and into the room. It shouldn't take long to fill the room, nor to kill whoever's inside.

The poison produced by the Lily-of-the-Valley plant had a veriety of pleasant effects. It was lethal in large enough quatities, which Medicine knew quite well. Even if it didn't kill you, it could also cause nausea and vision problems, along with abdominal pain and vomiting and rashes.

Eve was very pleased, needless to say, with Rose's thought process. She had not gotten to speak to her a whole lot in Elrios prior to this and she was very glad to discover that the woman had a head on her shoulders. However, just as she was about to respond, Liberty spoke...then died...then revived...and spoke again. She honestly had never seen someone die and respawn so much in a matter of a short time.

And honestly, the brain matter was quite gross and she was glad she hadn't been as close as Kage had been.

But, no matter to that. Once he finished speaking and introducing the two new villains, Eve looked back to Rose.

"It appears we have quite a few otherworldly attractions. A couple of them even appear to be demons. Though, some of them look suspiciously different than the ones that invaded Elrios. How interesting..." she murmured thoughtfully, putting her left hand against her cheek and leaning her head on it as she watched the others.

And in this heart, our bond cannot break. From here to the end and back again I will stand sharp. The light in me will guide you home...

Tira-Poolside rage

Tira quickly ducked into the fridge and plucked out a Bloody Mary out of the fridge. Wacking it on the counter to pop the lid off, she stalked off.

So what do we do now? Tira asked herself. I'm bored!

You're always bored! God.....anyway, right now, we're back in the same position we were all those years ago, but a bit reversed. We are more then capable of killing our captor, but he just keeps coming back. Long term, we need to identify the location of whatever is bringing him back and make it so he can't use it.

That sounds kinda hard!

No shit! It's going to take a while. So, for now, we do what we did before. We look around for people who aren't too fucking annoying and get them on our side.

Oh, oh, what about her? Jolly said as she looked at Juri walking to the pool. She looks like she might be fun!

Fine, whatever, I don't really care. Just remember you can't kill her for more then a second if she irritates you, so keep that in mind. Let me start with her.

With the plan set, Tira walked into the pool area and sat next to Juri, drinking her Bloody Mary.

God damnit, this is so much bullshit! Fucking cat asshole and his stupid fucking magic shit! I don't want to be part of this fucking reality show shit, and just about every one of these people are fucking stupid and I can't even shut them the fuck up by killing them! At this point Tira was testing the waters, just ranting out loud and not yet looking at Juri, waiting to see if she reacted to her rant, and if so, how, before she determined if Juri was worth her time or not.

Reverse Psychology

Genos’s eyes widened as the briefcase slipped out of place like a wriggling fish, swooping around to mutinously smack him in the back just before landing. Genos hit the ground shoulder-first, tucking into a roll before stabilizing in a low crouch further down the hallway. He looked past yet another flashing Error message to see the case land in Myotismon’s clawed grip, tightening his mouth in understanding. He has power like Tatsumaki’s. His thrusters revved up for another attack. There can be no opportunity for mercy.

But just then, Genos was cooled down both literally and metaphorically as a micro-blizzard descended on the hallway. Raising a forearm to shield his face, he looked down with a lip quirked in minor annoyance as he realized his feet were frozen in place. It was, however, hard to stay angry when the cross-legged boy who was apparently responsible outlined his reasoning, beseeching them all with a heartfelt cry for peace. Genos’s gaze shifted back over to Myotismon; while it was true that no deaths were permanent, and that this battle may not have lasting physical consequence, neither could they allow the creatures like him to think that wanton violence was acceptable. If necessary, Genos would kill him as many times as it took for that message to get through.

Speaking of messages… Genos looked past Myotismon to the hulking mechanical construct, a melodramatic sort who wasted no time trying to get him to betray his new allies. Genos straightened, his off-blue hoodie-clad chest puffing out slightly as his fists clenched readily by his side. “It is my humanity that gives me reason to fight.” He said simply, craning his neck and regarding their height difference without fear. “I am not interested in siphoning more away.” His eyes glowed. “And I think you will find what I already have to be more than sufficient.”

As for Myotismon, he would find the briefcase without latches or openings, for all intents and purposes an inert metal block. There was, however, a switch on the handle, which Genos was watching intently without trying to be obvious. Were it triggered, the case would activate, and the System would propel itself onto the cyborg’s body without further need for effort on his part.

But Genos had to admit that the boy with the winged creatures at least had a point. He would give this monster a chance to end this, without further destruction. Even as the former ice puddled at his feet, Genos would call out to Myotismon, his voice and tone as impenetrable as ever. “The boy is, in one sense, correct. Refrain from opening the case with the latch on the handle, and using the weapon within, and we may go our separate ways.” There. All this creature had to do was not indulge in its most base impulses. If it could manage that, perhaps they could coexist. Either way, whatever happened next was up to him. Preparing for the worst, Genos swept his hand to the side, gesturing for Superman and Teppei to clear the hallway.

If I had that kind of power, I'd have dropped a meteor on your house ages ago~

Ranma Saotome

"Yeah, laying low's the best thing right now. It'll keep us out of fights and if we do fight, we can look unassuming and strike in ways they don't expect." Left unsaid was his doubt on whether or not he would be embroiled in violent conflict like he always had been since he was a apparently a magnet for chaos and conflicts. And then his senses told him they had company. The newer presences caused Ranma's hair to fluff up in shock once more, the pigtail waving around erratically even as he hurriedly schooled his features together into some semblance of the bravado he always sported in Nerima. "Yep, I'm fine. Ain't nothing wrong with me that a little rest can't fix!" Ranma stated back to Menardi, using his quick hands to instantly shuffle his hair back into a neat appearance as well as wipe all the cold sweat off his face in a precise manner that even modern day machines might not be able to replicate, at least not as quickly.

To his credit, the boy's acting was at an acceptable enough level for him to truly look like nothing was wrong after the brief few seconds of his freaking out and those really suspect words. "Ah yeah, pops took me to travel around most of Asia when I was pretty young and China had some spiffy outfits. I can fight as much as I want in these threads and it won't inhibit my movement at all. It also looks pretty darn cool. Much better than most of the clothes from Japan." Voice being free of quavers and countenance now the very image of a confident young man, he looked nothing like the wreck he was before. "Saotome Ranma, of the Saotome Branch of the Musabetsu Kakutō Ryū (School of Indiscriminate Grappling/Anything-Goes Martial Arts)."

Looking over Chun-Li briefly with a professional eye and comparing her to most of the martial artists he knew, the teen found her less eccentric but more grounded as well as quite capable if the musculature was to be believed. "Always nice to meet a fellow martial artist. "You look like you come from the..." Pausing to wrack his head for the non-Japanese version of the name, the boy hesitantly stated what he could remember of a certain place that he had visited in the past. "Nǚjié...Zú... Village? Place is full of strong women warriors. Sorry, my Mandarin is pretty bad." Though he often put his foot in his mouth, that was only towards people that irritated him first. Nice people often got his respectful nice-boy persona, since they weren't wackos.

Rose

"In all honesty, where I come from we didn't have demons. We didn't believe there were such unscientific creatures out in the world." Rose stated, watching the carnage from her position while having Zero continually take notes for later perusal. "And then they suddenly tore rifts open to attack my country, Empyrean... and my liege. They were quite fearsome in countenance, size, and strength. And yet they could be felled with filling their craniums full of brass. It was still a close call. After that point, we were struck by our hubris. How dare we say that we knew all there was of the world? Or that ours was the only one? Your homeworld of Elrios, we only discovered after the event of the demon attacks through exploring the dimensional rifts."

Idly twirling a pistol around before clenching at it, the soldier's expression hardened at the memory. "The first wave was easily pushed back and the princess was unharmed, but there were plenty more just waiting to burst through. It was from that point on Empyrean began to mobilize, studying the unknown outside our borders. We shan't not let our lack of knowledge catch us unprepared. To know the enemy is to better prepare for them." They were practical words, one born through the event of knowing the folly of being a frog in a well. "Here, it is the same. We must ever be vigilant and forever be one step ahead."

Tsuyu Asui

The young UA student shook Evan's hand when he offered and leaned in to listen to his hushed explanation of his introduction. She placed her finger on her chin in thought as an idea occurred to her. "Maybe that was the point, ribbit. These people that have taken us are probably looking for any drama they can cause, so thats probably why they put you on the villain team." she voiced her thoughts. It made sense to her given what they have seen so far. "By te way, my name is Tsuyu Asui, but you can just call me Tsuyu." she introduced herself to the two boys.

Buggy

The clown decided that staying in the main hallway was a good way to get caught in the crossfire. Instead he went off to explore this place that was apparently going to be his prison. The first place that caught his eye was the kitchen, looking way more impressive than any that he had seen before. He grabbed an apple from the fruit basket only to have it immediately replaced by another one. Staring in surprise, Buggy took a bite of his apple as be began stuffing his pockets with silverware.

Yumil

"... I don't know what that is," Yumil muttered in response to Menardi's offer. The words 'I don't know' where fast becoming his most frequently used. At the same time, Mieli carefully laid him down on the bed. She was proud of herself, having managed to carry Yumil all the way over to a bed without having tripped and fallen midway through. It was possibly a new record for her!

Yumil, meanwhile, just felt wretched for having needed the help in the first place. He was his world's Chosen One! He was supposed to be stronger than this! He had to be stronger than this!

Mieli shook her head, also reacting to Menardi's offer.

"I don't know what that is either, but... No, I don't think that would help. See, the proble - ah!" She never finished her explanation, having tripped and fallen on her face partway through it.

Ur faded smoothly into view and took over for his fallen sister, apparently taking little note of her fall. After countless millennia together, the Four Spirits were more than used to each others' various quirks.

"It's unlikely that healing will work. He has no injuries, or else Mieli could probably help, at least a little. He's just used up too much of his mana supply in one go, and it's left him weak. He'll be alright if he just gets a little rest." The tall, blond Spirit explained. Then, what might have been an expression of surprise, as if suddenly remembering something, crossed his face, but it was hard to tell, with his shackles covering most of it.

"Wait, you can see and hear us, right? Normally, most people can't, but this... whole thing... is not normal, nor is anyone here 'most people'."

-Wulfrik frowns. The beastman's words ring true, for whatever these producers are, they are clearly capable of great magical feats if they can prevent the summoning of daemons and the manifestation of Chaos in this realm. It is in the nature of Tzeentch's champions to avoid combat, unlike true warriors, and so Wulfrik deems it best to play along for now, as long as he has trophies to claim and warriors to challenge.-

-At least the day is not entirely lost, having found one person with which to discuss theology. Turning towards Kage, Wulfrik looks him up and down with an expression suggesting he is looking at a pile of offal, and a second-rate one at that.-

You, Southerner! Which gods do you worship, that you rightly fear the Dark Powers? Are you Bretonnian, a horse-lover cowering behind steel, or of the Imperials who replace their manhoods with leadspitters?
