"I will not be much help for scouting - Angels are meant to be seen and heard, neither of which are qualities mortals desire in their scouts," Auriel said to Queen Seldanna. "I will accompany your air forces, as I can support them more effectively than your ground units can."
She took a few more steps forward to the elf-friend, and she continued "Boy, if you're gonna help us, I'll make sure you have the best hangover tomorrow morning. I just need you to draw a map of your camp, and give us a little knowledge about the guard schedule if you know it. Can you do that?"

As the heroes attempted to continue their plans, arrows began flying at Queen Seldanna, who just barely dodged them. The queen retaliated by firing light magic at where she thought the dark elves were firing from.
"They are here!"
The heroes would notice that the arrows were coming from the rooftops of the nearby buildings. Many of the light elves that were there began firing at where they thought the arrows were coming from as well.
Team Villain
As the villains made plans, arrows began flying at Queen Tacna, who had barely dodged them. The queen fired off dark magic in retaliation at where she thought the light elves were firing from.
"The light elves are here!"
The villains would notice that the arrows had been coming from the rooftops of the nearby buildings. Many of the dark elves that were there began firing at where they thought the arrows were coming from as well.

Spitting a curse at the idiocy of elves in general and dark elf dress sense in particular, he stands between her and the shooters.-

My skin thickened and cracked as my teeth melded together before erupting forwards, and all the while I was growing, my limbs expanding like a water balloon. Then, as what remained of my hair melted into my scalp, I lifted my trunk and trumpeted a challenge.-

Gemini stood by near the queen as the situation was discussed, staying quiet (mostly because she wasn't much of a strategist, Shiny was always the one giving orders), and then the arrows came flying in.
After Rachel transformed into an elephant, Gemini followed close behind (obviously far enough away to avoid getting crushed), to jump in when trouble arrived.

"Well, someone is looking to throw their lives away." Politeman commented idly upon the attack of light elves. The two Destroymen nodded between each other before they took off, jet boosters sending them up onto the rooftops. From there, they split in two directions, each ready to curb an elf for shits and giggles.
"Do your damned job!" Four, meanwhile, snapped at the Queen's bodyguard. Luckily, Wulfric seemed to have some common sense in his barbaric head, protecting the dark elf from the attacks. "As for you, Sir Soldier, we will get you a long-ranged gun to kill the light elf witch with. Or a crossbow. Rules of conduct seem to be the same. For now, let us deal with the rabble there." Pointing in the general direction of the rooftops, the Intoner made her way there as well, one hop at a time.
Good Guys
Well, there goes the pretense of peace. "Yeah, I'm on it. Somebody keep the Queen safe!" Unfortunately, my selection of souls makes any effective shielding a chancy proposition. Presumably, the assault party will not be too difficult to dispatch, as long as we can keep Seldanna safe.
With a loadout of Axe Armor, Giant Bat and Iron Golem I take off into the skies, soaring into the night as a white bat about the size of a human head. It's not a form meant for fighting, of course, but it can avoid any incoming arrows pretty well. Spotting one of the attackers I devise a brilliant part; that is dropping at the offending dark elf from the sky, having changed back to normal.
The idea is to just slam into him, and then smack him once or twice with the hilt before I can proceed to others.
How do lizards fly?
Twirling around like a veteran shotputter, she threw the sphere high and long. It arced in the air, heading for a space between the buildings. "Just...a liiittle..."
Then, as it passed over the roofs of the buildings...it fizzled out. What she was really going for was the illumination it provided, giving the rest of the people here a few seconds of light on the rooftops to mark where their targets were.
Mission Accomplished! Suika finally stopped standing on one foot, and said "Good! I'll do another one soon, so boy, you might wanna start WRITING ON THE PAPER YOU SHOULD HAVE NOW." That last bit was probably aimed toward whatever staff elf she had getting her parchment.
Auriel - Team Hero
When the human turned into a bat and flew off into the sky, charging off with the elephant girl and the swordswoman while shouting about making sure to keep the Queen safe, Auriel would have nodded if she could. Wordlessly agreeing instead, she flew towards the Queen to hover up between her and the incoming wall of arrow, and held it tight in her hand. Swinging her arms around to build up speed before concentrating the movement in her wrists, Auriel swung her cord around like a pair of fan blades to strike at the arrows.
Flowey- The Delf Camp
Ah, finally some real fun had come. Unfortunately, this cursed vegetable body prevented Flowey from striking the attackers directly and he doubted he could accurately shoot them from down there. It didn't help that the queen had apparently no sense of self-preservation, a fact that one of his teammates seems to have noticed. He promptly created several vines that encircled her to create a barrier to protect her from the arrows and prevent her from putting herself in even more danger.
"The crazy knight's right, queeny. If you die here, we're all screwed, including your subjects, so how about you don't go and make yourself an easy target? For now, let us do what you've summoned us to do and sit back."

Queen Seldanna hid behind Auriel as she defended her, firing magic at the archers whenever she could. Rachel began charging through the town as an elephant and while the archers did try to shoot her, arrows would not hurt much for an elephant. In fact, most of the arrows were more aimed at Gemini than at Queen Seldanna, Rachel or Auriel than her. Meanwhile, Soma would easily ambush one of the archers and knock him out. While a number of the archers tried to shoot at Soma, the closest two pulled out swords and tried to attack him. Suika's light show caused the ones illuminated by it to try to run, although the dark elf Suika was interrogating tried to spit in her face. Meanwhile, Chun-Li began firing Kikoken after Kikoken at the archers, hitting the ones closest to her.
Team Villain
Queen Tacna seemed to let Wulfrik and Flowey defend her, given that Flowey built a literal cage around her with his vines, although she did huff at it. The two Destroymen would easily ambush two of the archers and knock them out. A number of the archers tried to shoot at the Destroymen as well as Four and Juri who had also joined them on the rooftop, the closest eight to them pulled out swords and tried to attack them. Juri kicked the faces of the two who tried to attack her, sending them flying off of the roof.

-This was awesome! Not just the exhilaration of bringing the fight to the enemy, but they'd always shot back with laser beams that dug tunnels through flesh and bone, not arrows that barely tickled my skin. As I entered the town, I tried to turn my head up to see where the archers were, but elephants weren't really made to look up at things. I turned back towards the others before leaning against the wall of the closest house, not putting all my weight into it yet.-
<Hey! Someone tell me if there's any archers on the roof, I'm gonna bring the house down!>

-The elf-queen is secure for now, a wall of plants arising to shield her. Clearly there is a master of the Lore of Life among the dark elves, though why she felt the need to give sentience and speech to an ugly flower as well is beyond Wulfrik. More importantly, several of his fellows have joined the fray.-

As Gemini ran alongside Rachel, archers started shooting at her. While it's doubtful they would've been perfectly successful, what with having to aim around buildings and a huge Elephent, a few did hit her. Gemini, staggering, tried to find a doorway to hide in.

The moment I realized we were under attack, I dove for cover under the war table, unslinging my lasgun. A dull thock marked where something struck it and I stuck my head out to see an honest-to-Emperor sharp stick with feathers. Frag me, these Eldar were primitive shits except for the witchery. Not that a sharp stick couldn't kill you just as dead if you were stupid. Looked like Groxhead and the flower were covering the queen, good. Puffed-up bitch like that would probably get herself killed standing out in the open without them. I took a deep breath, then rolled out and up from under the table and sprinted for the nearest door. Snipers on the roofs, that meant I had to get up there too, get the angle on'em before one of'em got a lucky shot and stuck me through an eye.
"Get to cover or get up there!" I snarled at the others as I ran by. "Keep your head down or lose it!"
Then I was shouldering my way through the door, looking wildly around for a way up.

Four sized up the incoming elven swordsmen. Normally, she would offer a chance to lay down their weapons and surrender or retreat. Of course, them being elves put a swift end to that. Here, she didn't have to hold anything back. The incoming enemy she swiftly sent flying off the roof with a punch to the gut. Another that tried to come from behind got a kick right to the jaw, crumpling him at the edge of the roof with a caved in face. "Hardly a challenge, these. Wonder if the other elf-queen sent her elite after us, too."
"Please. These are small fries, all of 'em." Rudeman laughed, nonchalantly picking up one of the knocked-out assassins - not too gently, to a point where he crushed his hapless human shield's head a little - and using him as an impromptu barrier against incoming arrows. The gesture was largely superfluous; they could hardly hurt the likes of him. "Halftime entertainment. You kill 'em, you feel good for a moment, and" Then he hurled the cadaver at the offending party at great speeds. "it's back to the daily grind."
Politeman was not involved into the discussion, instead returning fire with Destroy Cannon and sending balls of energy the archers' way.
Good Guys
Well, this is a predicament. It looks like I'm the only one here. There's some ground support from Chun-Li, but otherwise it's me versus a bunch of elven assassins. Nothing new, I suppose.
Throwing an axe at one of the close-combat assailants I dash towards the other, sword at the ready to try and overpower him with a simple slash. Here's hoping that will be enough. I can't stay around for too long; already I'm dashing sideways to avoid the incoming arrows. Hopefully Chun-Li and others can take them down while I'm running a distraction.

As she ran the rooftops, Juri stopped as she spotted an elf hiding behind some of the heroes. The martial artist had a hunch that this particular elf was the queen they were supposed to get rid of. Thinking quickly, Juri jumped down out of sight and then ran around one of the buildings to get behind the heroes.
As the heroes and the rest of the villains were distracted from the fight going on, she pounced! Juri slammed down on Queen Seldanna's head, knocking her to the ground. Queen Seldanna yelped in pain as she retaliated with a blast of light magic, which Juri rolled out of the way of.
As Queen Seldanna stood back up, Juri aimed a kick at her gut, and as Queen Seldanna staggered backward before Juri wrapped her leg's around the Light Elf Queen's body. As Queen Seldanna prepared to another light magic spell, Juri grabbed the queen's head and twisted it until she heard a snap.
Queen Seldanna gasped as a look of surprise formed on her face and her body as well as Juri's collapsed on the ground. Juri Han had broken Queen Seldanna's neck. The life in Queen Seldanna's eyes would quickly fade away from the lethal blow. The villains had won this challenge.

As Gemini reeled from the arrows, she fell back... and caught Juri in the act of attacking the queen! she immediately ran as fast as she could to reach them, but it was too late.
Though it would probably mean little at this point, her sword enveloped in flame. "Stampeding... Steed!" She charged towards Juri with the flaming blade.

Kage - Dark Eldar Camp - To Each Of Us Falls A Task
I've seen a lot of shit in my time, but watching the bitch queen twist that Eldar was one of the most disgusting things I've ever had to watch. My nails bit into my palms hard enough to hurt and I promised myself then and there that once we won, I was going to take advantage of the victory celebration to kill her. I just wished I could make it hurt, but small chance of that with these Dark Eldar fraggers, they get off on it. Better to cheat them out of their fun.
"Yeah," I said tonelessly. "Looks good."
Then I made myself turn away and head for the map at a fast pace. If I stayed there any longer, I'd be murdering someone. Looks like at least a couple of our team were smart enough to read a map.
"There's a fair amount of people on the other team," I told the girl. "Figure at least one of'em's smart enough to know that's a dumb move. If I were them, I'd set up a body double and lure us into an ambush. Might be an idea for us, that way we don't have to split our forces to guard the queen and go after them. Or if they don't take the bait, maybe we can find a way to stage a raid and haul off a few thousand Eldar to hand over to the queen there, give us the numbers advantage. Torch their supplies,cut off their supply lines and let'em starve for a few days and they'll have to attack. But hey, I'm open to ideas. Never been a strategy man myself. What else you got?"
