For the two weeks since arrival, after his conversation with Lucina, Scott become... oddly absent. While it probably went unnoticed by most, if not all, and brushed off as a stroke of good luck by those that did, the odd Canadian essentially disappeared for the time. Only brief glimpses of him making it clear he hadn't just snapped back.
Yet, when he showed up at the command bridge he seemed normal enough, if a bit quiet. Until he noticed a certain succubus had returned. He pointed at Morrigan, looking shocked and excited. "You're back?!"
Elizabeth had spent the two weeks making the most of what the place had to offer, taking part in most of the luxuries she could and spending time with some of the others in the group. If she was going to have to go back to fighting once more, she was going to get as much enjoyment out of the times she wasn't.
Standing on the command bridge, the servant had been listening silently to the mission briefing, until the commander asked if there were any questions. Glancing up from the dossier, Elizabeth said, "You said that we shall be impersonating a family that will be arriving late, correct? Does that mean we have a limited time to achieve our goal?"
Tessa - Command Bridge
Tessa shook her head, slowly lowered her hand, and fiddled with her necktie for a few moments, before gritting her teeth, balling up her fists, and putting her hands down by her hips as she puffed out her cheeks. She slowly, smoothly walked over towards Fiore with micro-steps to make sure that there was no way that it would be possible for her to trip as she moved across the two-meter gap between her and the girl's wheelchair, which in only 3 seconds she was indeed next to.
"D-don't let her mess with you." She nodded her head and looked at her with an intent gaze, resting one hand on the chair's handle. "There's nothing wrong with being a nerd! I mean not that you are one. But it wouldn't be bad if you were. Reading is sexy! Did I mention I read too? A lot of it is math and physics but... Whatever! She was just talking about that stuff to get under your skin... maybe she was just jealous of how soft it looks but - no I just mean you seem smart I like your plan thinking yes smart good let's do it - the undercover plan stuff."
She started nodding her head up and down very quickly and took a deep breath.

At Tessa coming to her defense, Fiore's...
Well, Tessa would be greeted by an awkward smile and laugh. She means well, the Magus can tell, but there's something about what she says and how she acts that gets her on edge...
Still not as dangerous as Harley, though! And the magus has an image to maintain as the future head of her house, so a pleasant exchange was given here in response to the girl's nervousness.
"Don't worry, I'm unashamed of being an intellectual. If anything, I'm quite proud to be called as such, as 'old school' as my brother would've called me~" a natural smile is given here, one that brook an air of confidence. "And I'm not so easily swayed, either. I'm certain that with time, I'll come to learn and get used to her here."
"Thank you, all the same. Your name's... Tessa, I take it?" it's unbecoming of her, she admits, but with how many people there are on the team, she's still trying to get to know everyone's name here, at least. With mixed success.

I guess that's what you told us to call you so duh yeah you want to be called that silly me I just meant that I know your name and you know my name but there's tooooootally no reason you can't use a cute nickname if you want but if you're old-school and want to use my full name that's okay too. If you want to be old-school and use my full name like some sort of... librarian... trying to punish me for an overdue book - not that I'd ever return a book late, libraries are the cornerstone of society. I really just like books - like you! Hopefully you aren't too old-school though, maybe you have an open mind for... stuff... you know. Not-old-school stuff. Modern stuff. Like about sociological stuff, even if you're old school with using someone's name - Oh! Right. Teletha Testarossa, that's my full name, because maybe you wanted my last name too? I mean not wanting my last name like that for yourself, unless you did want it, ehehehehe noooooo problems there but that's kind of getting ahead of myself okay I'm going to stop talking now."She stopped talking, blushed, and nodded fiercely.

"Teletha Testarossa. I'll remember it~ Still prefer Tessa, it's easy on the tongue and straightforward. Libraries are alright, but I find that I'm more at home in workshops, tinkering away with my Mystic Code." An iron tendril shot out from behind her back momentarily, as if 'barking' in agreement.
"I enjoy exploring new things, but... hmm. How should I put this? Would you believe if I told that I have no idea what an 'in-ter-net' or 'phone' is despite having it being explained to me before? Ahaha~" a sheepish laugh is given here, at this one fault of hers that almost all Nasuverse magi share: their inherent incompatibility with modern norms and technology.
Yes, she's not opposed to doing other stuff, but her previous environment and lifestyle had made her too entrenched in being old-school. Enough to make her a fish out of water in modern day norms, slangs and technology, as if they're still living in the twentieth century.
Once more, she shakes her head. "Afraid I can't. I'm next in line as head of the Forvedge family, you see, and it'll be unbecoming to just abandon that which I was born to do. No, with the expectations and responsibilities expected of me, I must succeed."
... It's almost certain what Tessa intends. The Forvedge heir isn't that oblivious. Even still, she smiled softly back and even taking the time to reply to each of her inquiries. "You don't need to force yourself to speak to me. Take it one step at a time. I much rather enjoy natural conversations as equals, if pleasing me is what you're aiming for~"
The pristine image of a dignified aristocracy that hasn't lost her touch, she is.

Entering under the cover of illusions - that was certainly one way to make up for the band's diverse appearances. Lucina nodded to herself as she turned the plan over in her mind.
"It has been some time since I moved in courtly circles..." The princess' ears flicked back in a hint of anxiety as she frowned to herself - those childhood functions left somewhat loaded memories, after all. Besides, if the establishments of Neo Roppongi shared any etiquette with the courts of Ylisse, she would eat her scabbard.
"Still... If some degree of eccentricity is to be expected, we should be alright. We should do our best to avoid drawing attention to ourselves after we make our entrance, however. Ah, speaking of which, will these disguises also conceal our weapons?"

All this talk of sneaking in using these hologram disguises made Zima roll her eyes slightly, the ursus letting out an unimpressed huff. Maybe it was technically not a terrible idea, sure... but she didn't fancy the prospect of pretending to be one of these rich assholes for a night.
If that wasn't enough to sour her mood, this new girl with the baseball bat was really starting to fray her nerves, flitting around the bridge, messing with the posh girl in the wheelchair. Zima growled under her breath and scowled, folding her arms and jerking her chin at Harley.
"Hey, bubblegum. You gonna pipe down, or does someone need'ta put you in a wheelchair next?"

"Yep! Tessa's super easy. Ack, wait, not, I just mean that Tessa feels good on your tongue- Eep! I mean the name! The NAME Tessa is easy to say, two syllables, five letters, good nickname okay yeah good right! I'm happy you like it" Tessa nodded more, still jittering her head up and down rapidly.
"And d-don't worry about any of that technology stuff, I'm suuuuuuper good at it, I can help you with any Internet stuff sure but also science, physics ooooh if you don't know a lot of modern physics there's a whole bunch of stuff I can tell you about, like if you want to know how light is a wave and a beam we could do some double-slit experimenting - uhhh, that sounded better in my head, it is a real thing. A physics thing. For science. Um...."
She starts shaking her head a bunch.
"Oh no don't worry I'm not forcing myself to talk to you at all. Once I get started you definitely won't think that, if anything you'll have to keep me away, going to have to hit me with a baseball bat to get me to stop ehehehehehe but please don't actually it would hurt."

And got bonked in the head, Tessa did. Or rather, making a playful light tap on her head with one of her metallic tendrils.
"There we go. Feel like stopping now?" the wheelchaired girl said, with a tone of utmost seriousness... before breaking apart the facade with a slightly mischievous smile soon after. "Sorry about that. With how enthusiastic you're going about it, I couldn't resist~"
Unfortunately, that's when things started to get a teensy bit fired up when someone all too definitely referred to her in a way. Looking at both Zima and Harley, Fiore felt the need to step in before... well, before something happens.
"Please don't start anything, while we're very soon about to make landfall." she then turns to the rough-looking girl, trying to give an assuring smile.
"I appreciate your concern, but rest assure that I can at least survive her. If nothing else, my familiars would react in a moment's notice were she to actually try anything."

"Uhuh.... so you like using... things... like that...." Tessa gulped at the tendril as she rubbed her forehead. "But nope, don't worry, I am very focused on this mission. Nothing wrong with familiarizing ourselves before we go on the mission. I look forward to our professional relationship."
She spoke suavely, slowly nodding her head as she did so, casually adjusting her tie to make sure it remained the only straight thing about her. She even turned around to look at their current employer. She was super duper focused on the mission and absolutely positively nothing else.
"Oh Jesus! Waaaaggghhhh!"
She was so focused on the mission, in fact, that she was caught completely off guard and got started by Carmilla's braying laugh, causing her to fall backwards with her arms flailing around helplessly... directly towards Fiore's lap.

This would've led to further hijinks and awkwardness... had Fiore's Mystic Code not flared to life and react, in kind.
Sensing this, at once the Magus focused her prana onto her gloved right hand; twisting her fingers, almost forming a fist with bluish prana flowing through it, calming and willing her familiars as both of the tendrils shot out from behind her and caught Tessa mid-fall on both of her shoulders before she had the chance to make contact with the lap(she did get close enough, though).
The other two tendrils at her lower back shot out too, now focused on steadying Tessa back on the ground and standing now that the threat has been neutralized.
... Well, that could've gone awkward. Still, it did prove a point as Fiore then turned back to Zima. "See what I mean~ Speaking of, are you alright there, Tessa?"

"Eeeeeee-oh? Huh?" Tessa flailed her arms around, curling her neck forward and bracing for impact, only to find herself being heroically saved when she was caught in the strong, toned... unfeeling metal contraptions that Fiore was controlling somehow.
And then she actually asked if she was okay!
"Um... uppp... uah, yeeeeeah. Totally. All fine here, with me, yeah, yep, ehehe. Thank you soooo much." She accepted the help from the tendrils in standing up again, taking a moment to put her ponytail back in place and square her tie before nodding her head. "I am 100% A-Okay now, thanks to you. You're pretty good with that fist-MAGIC of yours. If only you were around any time I have to go down stairs...."
She shook her head.
"But yes, totally fine now. All good here. With me."
She nodded.
"Ready to... get this mission over with."

While everyone was distracted strategizing, Harley went to change her clothes to look like this because
suicide squad is so 2016.
“Hey you two just kiss already,” she would scream at Tessa and Fiore after overhearing the two talking. “Psst here’s a hint, She is not after your brains you know,” She would say in a tone of voice that sounded like a fake whisper but was actually completely audible to everyone.
Later as the conversation on, she added, “Hey, I also have a Mystic code I have fun with too. But mine has another name if you know what I mean,” she winks at Fiore.
After Fiore mentioned Tessa trying to get on her good side, the clown woman said “Oh,Tessa is looking to please you alright. You noticed. I noticed. We all noticed.” She says with her eyes half-closed while looking at the two with suspicion.
Then to Tessa, she said, “Hey If you want someone to hit you with a bat, I’m game.” Harley then swings her bat to make a point. But as she does Fiore uses her tentacles to catch Tessa, she gives them a mischievous smile.
“Sure, Tessa I’m sure you are all excited about going in a— she makes air quotes with her fingers— “mission” with those tentacles”
Hadley sighs deeply. ”Ahhh love is in the air. Fiore and Tessa. I ship you two,” She says while putting her hands together.
Ater Zima’s treats she walks in front of her and says “Geez. Looks like someone hasn’t eaten their honey today. Chill out, bear lady. I’m just trying to make you smile. You can’t get to hibernate without a laugh or two, ya know.”
Morrigan — Command Bridge
“The one and only,” she said to Scott with a smirk as her eyes seemed to brighten as she walked towards him.
“Ahh, Scott, it’s been far too long. No matter how far we fall apart we always manage to find each other. It’s like were destined to be together.“
She would attempt to rub his arms. “How I missed playing with you.“ Morrigan would then lean at him to whisper, “ We need to share some alone time...to catch up.“

Deigning to let everyone get their strangeness on out now (as much as they could, he knew it would still occur later on during the mission), Kreyuz simply looked down at his pocket watch for the next minute before turning his head back up with a genteel smile on his face. "Do not worry about money since we have already taken such into account. To pretend to be a big spender you must have enough assets, yes? But yes, there is a limited amount of time to be had here, a scant estimation four hours at most before the real family shows up after settling their business. The disguises will mask all equipment below a certain threshold so yes, your weapons are safe as well."
Holding out a garishly diamond plated credit card, Kreyuz would give it to whoever was responsible enough to hold onto the thing and not lose it. "In any case, there is a limited amount of such devices to go around since too much people will destabilize time-space enough to either cause anomalies in the world traveled to or output a strong enough signal for our friends in the government to track us down. Once you've decided who among you are going on the mission, take the device and head into the van turned limousine. We will send you down into the mission area once that is sorted out."
Corrin meanwhile would simply continue to listen to the ever familiar and calming tone of Goodzura, so free of the hard-edged jadedness that always crept into Badzura's voice. Though she would never say anything aloud, the albino knew quite well that there was always a coldly logical mind working behind the kind words given, much akin like that of a razor that hid underneath soft silk.
It was something to work on and definitely not going to change in the short term but she was nothing if not stubborn in wanting to at least show the alternate Azura that true trust was something she could believe in eventually. For now though, there was the other side of the coin to consider in the here and now.
"The journey continues to unwind and go on, with many a strong personality to consider and clash against one another. Much like home as you can imagine, during that great campaign against Anankos that caused two warring countries to however uneasily put aside their differences to work together. I admit I feel no small amount of nostalgia when comparing the current adventure to that of the past. We will return together, Azura. Together. You still have a place to belong to at home, and at my side." Smiling gently here, Corrin let out a sigh as the quiet time finished and the upcoming mission reared its head.

"Ummmmm...." Tessa blushed fiercely at Harley's words, tilting her head down slightly and touching her fingertips together nervously with steam practically venting out of her ears. "Haha riiiiight... okaymaybeyoucouldlistentoheraliiiiittlebitimeanshecan'talwaysbewrong.... uuuuuhhhhh. Oh right, the mission! Yeah, the mission, focusing on that now yes right now."
She developed a sudden interest in a specific part of the floor, looking straight down at it as Kreyuz explained.
When he asked who was going, she slowly lifted up her hand.
"I... I'll go."

Zima - Shenanigans
Zima snorted, bristling as the clown-looking chick sassed her back, drawing herself up a little taller as a sharp-toothed snarl flashed across her face.
"Keep talking and I'll show you what really makes an Ursus smile, bitch." She growled, cracking her knuckles - only for Tessa's remarkably uncoordinated display to interrupt the moment, Zima cocking her head in bemusement as she looked on.
"... Did she smack her head in on your last mission or something?"
The tension broken, Zima flapped one hand and backed down, grumbling under her breath, not worth the effort. She gave Fiore a shrug as she put Tessa back on her feet.
"Bullies just get on my nerves, that's all. Tch, pain in my ass..." She replied with a huff, folding her arms once again and returning to her slouch against the bridge bulkhead. Despite her gruff dismissal, she did shoot Fiore an approving glance when she thought she wasn't looking. At least that made two for two on wheelchair-bound operators who could hold their own.

Ammy's mouth morphed into an O shape at the sight of the extremely sparkly object. Then she schooled her face into a slight, reserved-seeming smile and bowed gracefully, accepting the diamond-plated credit card with two hands, as was proper. She tucked it away into her Celestial Pouch and patted the flap as if to say "You're safe with me, shiny rectangle thing!" After that, she held up her scroll with another question:

At Harley continuing on, the Magus had equally grown adapted to her. The comment of her Mystic Code being implied as something else did get a slight rise out of her still, but after the initial hurdle of being caught off-guard, Fiore is well-poised to maintain her composure even now.
"Yes, I'm well-aware." the heir looked at Tessa. "But that's no reason for me to be rude to her. I may not see her the same way she saw me, but I can at least remain cordial and be on friendly terms with her~"
That overly polite way of getting Tessa friend-zoned done, she nods thankfully at Zima next. "Thank you. I can at least rest easy, knowing that I'm not alone in feeling that she's going to be quite the handful, ahaha..."
"And don't push your luck, dear Tessa~" Fiore mildly chides, one finger raised up and waving in a 'tut tut' fashion. "That we're both girls aside, we've barely known and talked with each other for more than ten minutes. I much prefer more commitment from my partner and slowly warming up to the idea of a relationship rather than have it be on a spur-of-the-moment."

"O...okay, so I guess to take things slow we can get d-dinner after we finish this mission. Good idea!" She nods very, very slowly, with a serious expression on her face. "After all, I am quite focused on this mission and have nooooo time for distractions."

Sothis looked... different today. Specifically, she was much blockier looking and was carrying a pickaxe. Byleth also had a different look today, though in her case she was just wearing a turtleneck sweater

"I'm commemorating the entrance of a new fighter in the Smash Brothers Tournament!" Sothis explained. "Minecraft Steve, from the popular Japanese Game Show, Minecraft!"
Byleth stared blankly at the goddess. She seemed to be in one of her moods today. One of those days where she started talking about things that didn't make any sense at all.
"Oh come on!" Sothis pouted. "You need to go on the internet more so that you know what I'm talking about! It's this amazing place where people post all this stuff like... Claude's Funny Prank Videos! Edelgamer Streams Civilization! Dimitri's ASMR Archives!"
This only confuses the Byleth further. Evidently, the goddess of Fodland had been corrupted by a strange force this battle hardened warrior didn't quite understand.
"The more you speak of this 'internet', the less I'm sure I want anything to do with it."
She eventually makes her way over to others.
"So I see it's time for our mission. I will do my best to assist you all with everything I have."
Scott's grin got even wider as he saw that the nun was happy to see him as well, the expression looking genuine as he almost bounced in place. His face flickered for a moment with something at Morrigan's comment about destiny, before it quickly passed and almost settled on something that looked like...embarrassment? "Haha, guess I just can't keep you away, huh."
The Canadian was happy to let her touch him, his eyes running up and down her body with obvious interest. Her words brought another strange flicker across his face, but it was quickly replaced by eagerness and excitement. "Really? I mean- yeah, sure. No one here believed me when I said we'd done stuff, you know. This'll show them too."
4 hours, that wasn't a lot of time. Which meant they'd have to move quickly. This wasn't something she'd ever done before in her time as a servant, but she was at least familiar with the type of lifestyle that the family they were impersonating had. She couldn't say the same for some of the other people here, and she could only imagine what might happen.
Elizabeth had been hoping maybe be something she wasn't suited for, but looks like she didn't have any excuse. Sighing quietly, the woman nodded to herself as she listened further. Making sure to note the girl who had taken the credit card, and to keep an eye on her.

She noded in siren to and then she gave her a wide smile “. I was back at your kingdom for days. But it won’t be home until it’s rightful queen returns. It will be my honor to fight at your side, Corrin.”

“Who said you had a choice?” Morrigan replied to Scott with her eyes half closed and a smile.
However the second thing he said made her raise and eyebrow.
“Is that so? Tell me who is doubting you. We would like to be misinformed for too long, would we? She would say to Scott with a smile.
She would turn at the whole group and speak loudly.
“You might have heard rumors of me spending the night with Scott...I want to clarify those rumors. Truth is, I only regret it was only one night,”
She would turn at Scott and say “Luckily that can be easily fixed”
Harley Quinn— Command bridge
“Yes, bear, ma’am!” Harley would say to Zima while slitting her as if she were a superior officer . But the instant she would turn around to talk to Fiore,and Tessa she would stick her toungue out at her by blowing a raspberry.

Hoh~... Illusion fields, naruhodo... Ammy thought while Clifford displayed the device's capabilities. She read through the dossier with interest. Evidently they were all going to be coming from a faraway country called "Texas". Ammy had never heard of such a place, but she was sure she would have no problem ignoring questions from overly curious staff or patrons.
Then she picked up one of the buttons and pressed it to see what sort of image it would impart unto her person. Then she held up her scroll to Kreyuz again. If we are to pretend to be well-to-do merchants, we will need money in order to keep up the illusion of wealth. I have a large amount of yen in my purse, but is it still in circulation in this 'Neo Roppongi'? she asked with a tilt of her head.
