Griffith, Nuke Is Good?

"You must really hate this Artorius. You could probably just crush him under the sheer weight of this missile." He laughed, listening to Velvet's opinion on the nukes - as always differing from others. "But I doubt a single man can operate such a device. Think of it like a siege engine or a battleship."

"Thus, I suspect that, for better or worse, we won't have an access to such weaponry."

Flowey - Cat Shack

For the most part, Flowey just watched Scott making a complete fool of himself, not moving an inch. And he surely didn't disapoint. That guy was selfish, stupid and judging from him talking to himself, a bit insane. He didn't even notice the flower with a face staring at him with a smile. In short, he was a perfect tool.

The tiny plant waited for Max and Morrigan to leave before speaking. He didn't want one of them to interfere with is little fun. Thus he only spoke after Scott's last comment. "Ah, finally someone who speak some sense around here!" He spoke out in a calculated, affable-sounding voice.

If Scott where to look toward the source of the voice, he would see Flowey faking shock. "Oh, but how rude of me. I haven't even told my name! I'm Flowey and I guess I'm stuck in the same boat as you. Pleased to meet you, Scotty." Flowey then did a wink at the sword affectionado. He then spoke again as if the situation was totally normal.

"Anyway, back to the original topic. I must say that I agree with you, buddy! You just want to have some fun sometimes and get cool stuff from it, and some big jerk come in with a lecture without knowing anything about you! The world's just unfair. You're right: you don't need these losers." A nod of comprehension was given to the canadian. "But still," Flowey then looked upward and frowned a little, as if he was in deep tought. "For a guy who say they don't need anyone, that lady sure seemed to have a leash around you." After some thinking, Flowey added one last part. "Figuritavely, of course." He had enough metaphore trouble with "Happy" Tira, thank you very much.

Amuro - Van, Living Room

“There are often treaties between nations not to use them due to that fear of mutually destroying one another through nuclear exchanges. Though there are methods of intercepting them, it can be very tricky.”

Amuro gave a nod to griffith when the man looked towards him.

“Regardless, the technology behind them has been used to create energy sources to help improve modern life. Nuclear technology does far more than just kill things.”

Lady (Workshop)-Angry Lady

With the encounter over, Maria would find a still very unhappy Lady walking over to her.

"What the hell are you doing? I had the situation under control. Who asked you to stick your nose into this? I brought her here so she could focus on something else, not provoke a potential fight and esclate things!"

Puru - Storage

Amuro's parting comment got Puru's attention. The Red Comet was still alive? She didn't hear anything about any sort of rebellion back home, and Char was the sort of person that would definitely be mentioned by everyone. Did that mean that Amuro came from a point in the future of their world? With all of this multi-dimensional talk it might not be out of the question for something like that to happen. In that case, now Puru had something to look forward to once she got back to her own world.

The old woman still had more questions though. It didn't seem like she had much experience with the animosity that can remain between two sides after a war or two. "We just want our independence from the Earth. The Federation won't let that happen, which causes conflict. At this point, too many good people have died to just let it go." Puru answered. With her piece said, she returned to her focus on perfecting her firing stance and just listened as Lady began chewing out the older woman.

Gwen - Oh, So This Is What It Looks Like From The Outside; Van, Storage

Oh, that had not been good.

The girl who was afraid of the Gundam and the Gundam were introduced to each other by Maria, and it seemed that Puru had heard of Amuro before. It sounded like the two were on the opposite sides of a war.

As young and innocent as this Puru girl seemed, that left Gwen suspicious of her. Gundams were the good guys, right? So if the Gundam was her enemy, that made her a bad guy?

This is so much easier when the bad guys declare their villainy for everyone to hear.

But then Lady started shouting at Maria, and Gwen had to intercede in that.

She was just trying to help.” Gwen explained. “it’s better to get the argument out of the way now instead of in the middle of a fight, otherwise someone gets hurt.

It didn’t hurt that Maria was just trying to do for Puru what Gwen herself had tried for Tenko.

Tucker - Tucker: Has Literally All The Secrets; Van, Kitchen

Tucker was momentarily shocked by Sayaka admitting the last time she’d done this, that half her group had been killed by a mad god. That… That was more casualties than he was willing to accept. Thankfully, the conversation turned away from the topic, and onto that of food.

Tucker raised his hands to his helmet, and after a twist, pulled it off to reveal the man underneath. He picked himself a plate of the rice and started going at it.

I’ve seen them both in the same room.” He commented to Max, fork pointed at the cyborg, covering for Ranma’s secret. “After all the demons on the beach. We were taking showers, getting all the demon-gunk off, and she walked in accident. They really need to make the signs on those bathrooms better.

They do have medals for almost, and they're called silver!

Spawn — Kitchen

Spawn looked away when Amaterasu made her displeasure clear on her face. He nervously locked eyes with her briefly, after quietly reading the scroll she always used to communicate. Thorough ritual cleansing? He didn't like the sound of that. He imagined Amaterasu's warm divine presence become fiery hot and bright and blinding to the eyes. But what really got to him was her expression. He felt like a child, being scolded by a parent, for the first time in many decades. And from what he knew, the best way to get out of that kind of situation was to stay quiet and do as you're told.

Spawn closed his eyes, covering the expression on his mouth with his clawed hand once again. He didn't even want to think of what Amaterasu had planned for Susan. Better her than him, at least.

Living Room

"Psh, when you're a Servant anyone and everyone can and will want to kill you. Especially other Servants... At least in a regular Holy Grail War. I don't see anything of the sort though here though so no need to worry about my enemies coming around these parts." Waving a hand to placate his Master, Astolfo beamed. "Besides, I WON my Holy Grail War so everyone else is gone save for Jeanne D'Arc."

Kitchens

Nodding most gratefully as Tucker came to her rescue like a total bro (a quick smile was given to the guy as silent thanks) as well as seeing the fact that Tenko had distracted herself, the martial artist heaved a slight sigh of relief even as her tensed body language eased somewhat. Pausing for a second, the redhead then rummaged around in the sleeve of her outfit before pulling out what seemed to be a faded polaroid photo depicting the two different Ranmas.

"Mostly we don't hang around together all that much because we keep being mistaken for the other one..." Being rather thankful to a certain middle sister Tendo for being a sleazy picture taking capitalist for giving her a potential alibi after the whole Mirror Clone shenanigans, the martial artist was inwardly pleased that such a thing could come in handy right now.

Susan, Unhappy in the Kitchen
Susan remained faceplanted for a moment, keeping still and letting herself look at the shiny, if very dark looking, interior made between her head and the table. She let Amaterasu say all of that, taking it all, and then she spoke.

"...sought?"

Slowly, she turned her head towards Ammy, unmuffling her voice as her face was covered by her red hair. "...You just said...that I sought to be this?"

Drawing back the curtain of her disheveled hair with a long claw, she looked up at the disappointed goddess with a scrunched up face of disgust. "Amaterasu...what about you? I don't know a whole lot about you. Just a little. But did you get to choose to be the highest god among gods? Some...great sun king, that was greater than everyone else?"

Santa, Living Room
"What does it matter?" Santa looked back at Astolfo after he had asked his dumb question. "If everyone here sees the same God - even if one of them might be a little angsty about it," she said with a nod towards the super edgy Jeanne, "then it's just one less problem to worry about."
She also took a quick look at that submarine video, and knew that if she could ever find one, she was gonna be in competition with, like, twenty other people to be its captain.
Such is life in the van.

Maria, Storage

"Ah... colonialism. A tale as old as sail." She hummed in agreement when Puru explained the situation. So it seemed that Zeon wanted to become its own thing and the Earth would not let it; thus, the war. "If you are self-sufficient, then in the perfect world that would be enough for the Federation to let you go." Whether Amuro was an imperialist or just a cog in a larger machine that fought "terrorists", or however his superiors painted the Zeon as, remained to be seen later.

Lady came with complaints and Gwen came to the rescue. "You don't have to stick your neck out for some old woman, lassie." Maria chuckled, looking at the blonde superhero. "The fault is mine to bear. It is as she said though." Here she turned her attention back to the demon hunter. "With all due respect, you've seen that the animosity - and fear - of Mr. Amuro runs deep in her veins, and he walked in here on his own either way. If shooting were to start, I trust the three of us would have been able to stop it right away."

"If the shooting were to start somewhere else, well, we'd have a much harder time stopping it now, wouldn't we?"

Max, Kitchen

Tucker offered some help, but that sounded a little sketchy still. Would Ranma really walk into men's bathroom by accident? "...true, I suppose we were all out of it by then." He got off lucky as far as gore went, but others were likely less so. "We can probably fix some in the storage if need to."

That Ranma and... Manma could be mistaken for one another Max had difficulty buying too. Their hair colors were different, for crying out loud. Still, the photo was proof enough that this wasn't a really long-game prank. Placated with that he could focus on other things at hand; namely, Amaterasu and Susan. Thankfully their goddess of cannibalism spoke English and not whatever forgotten ancient language the other side used, so Max could make out some details.

"That's like having some douchebag sneer at a paraplegic kid that he doesn't run." He commented, looking at Ammy with mild disappointment. "I'm pretty sure a god's domain is set in stone whether they like it or not."

Kawkaze made it a point of ignoring Tetra's glances, not really going give her the satisfaction after earlier.... so she went back to Tessa, "Our resources began to run dry... it makes sense that what I was made into would vary depending on what was needed at the time..." She explained before giving a glance over to her rigging. "I was suposed to be taking this to storage though, both to get it out of the way and to show it to some one else.... ummmm you want to help?"

Tessa - Van - Living Room

"YES!" Tessa shouted. She seemed to pale and paused for a moment, trying to contain her apparent excitement. "I mean um, yeah, sure, I guess I could." She walked over to the rigging and cautiously set a hand on it, biting her lip as she did so.

"You know I uh, I actually know about submarine design too. I even designed my own submarine, the Tuatha de Danaan. It was the most advanced submarine I had ever seen... until I met you," she added. "You're incredible! Arm Slave miniaturization is one thing - I managed to slim things down to under 167 centimeters when the full-sized Arbalest prototype was 8.5 meters. But the Danaan is a whole 218 meters long, it would be its own story entirely just to get it under 20 meters! And then you managed to put a 108 meter submarine into a petite package. Your internals must be astounding!"

Delta - Bedroom -> Kitchen

After seeing that Ragna was probably going to be okay, Delta stood up. It had been a while - she could eat.

Lumbering through the hallway, past whatever clusterfuck was going on in the living room, and deciding not to add her two cents to whatever subsequent clusterfuck was going on in the kitchen's conversation, she simply entered wordlessly and observed. Quickly, she spotted what she wanted. There, in a Rubbermaid® container next to Susan, was some meat. The clawed woman had been kind enough to cook some earlier, but compared to the potted meat and splicer hearts that had sustained her through Rapture, she was perfectly willing to just go at it raw if it meant having that fresh meat.

She politely - but firmly - tapped Susan on the shoulder with one of her meaty, gauntleted fingers. Then she pointed at the Rubbermaid® container, and back to her own faceplate.

The light in her helmet changed as she did so, from yellow to green, nodding ever-so-slightly.

Tetra - Living Room -> Outside the Van

("Geez, how does anybody hear themselves think in this place?") Tetra thought to herself, as not only did Tessa continue to gush over the strange woman that was also a submarine, but it felt like damn near half the kitchen followed her into the living room. Tetra, concluding that trying to hear any more of the program or trying to inspect the box would be a lost cause, got up from the couch and began searching for the entrance/exit to the van. After a few wrong turns, Tetra finally found her way to the front entrance of the van, and stepped outside to get a good look at what was beyond this new structure she called home base, and hopefully get some degree of peace and quiet..

Velvet (Living Room)-Unfortunate similarities

Velvet shook her head as Astolfo. "If you say so. And what, exactly, is a "Holy Grail War?"

As Astolfo prepared his response, Velvet turned to look at Griffith, looking him over closely. She had not actually paid too much attention to the man until this moment, and now that she was, she noticed something that put her ever so slightly on edge.

"I suppose that makes sense. Funny thing. You remind me a lot of him. Way you dress, way you talk, way you act. If your hair was blonde, I could almost mistake you for him at a distance."

From the tone of her voice, it was clear that Velvet viewed this as anything but a good thing.

Lady (Workshop)-Not going to be that easy

"She told you she diden't want to talk to him, she told you she wasen't ready, and you ignored that." Lady said, clearly not satisfied. "I had a plan set, so that she could take her time, prepare herself mentally, deal with the situation on her own terms. But no, that wasn't good enough for you, was it? And now nothing's been accomplished but fights and threats!"

Her hands were now balled into fists out of sheer frustration.

"Why don't you just sit in your wheelchair next time and mind your own business?"

Griffith, Main Room

Ostentatiously, he looked down to regard his prized Hawaiian shirt. "Is that so?" Griffith hummed, contemplative. "Well, that can only mean the two of us have impeccable fashion sense." Snark was not something he did, but sometimes there were times where you just couldn't pass up on an opportunity.

"Funny you say that, because I see quite a few similarities with you instead." He let the thought hang in the air before waving it off. "But no matter. Do tell, Miss Crowe. What is this Artorius like?"

Maria, Storage

The old crone barked out a laugh. "That's rich coming from you, lassie, that you're the one avoiding fighting. And have you ever ripped an old bandaid off yourself? It's not pretty, it's not any fun, but either you do this or pull it slowly and suffer all the more for it. It's clear that Puru and Mr. Amuro are not going to get along no matter what you think."

"That kind of hatred doesn't go away after a pep talk."

Velvet (Living Room)-Talking about the enemy

Velvet turned to face the TV, still playing the weird noises and pictures coming from it. Yet it was clear she was paying no attention to it, her mind elsewhere as thoughts of Artorius came.

"He can be summed up in a single phrase, one he always used. "Reason over emotion". He always had a masterful level of control over himself. Not once have I ever seen him get angry, never even so much as raised his voice. Once, I simply thought that he kept his emotions under the surface. But I genuinely think now that he has no emotions. How could he, after...."

She paused a moment, fist clenching next to her.

"Artorius's so called "Reason" is the source of all of his actions, and according to his reason, he placed the whole over the individual. And this gave him all the excuse he needed. He found an entire race of magical beings, ones who could be used to fight back against the growing threat of the demons on our world. And then he had them bound, with a ritual that stripped them of their memories, their emotions, anything that made them unique. And then he handed them out to his subordinates like weapons, like mere tools."

"The power of his "Abby" grew as the people started to worship him, and so he started placing restrictions on the people. Outlawing activities he did not approve of, demanding people abandon the worship of their gods in place of his new one, forcing merchants to pay absurd taxes to the Abby that would strip them of most of their profits. All for his "Greater Good", of course. And those who refused, those who saw what was happening, them he disposed of. Some, he had arrested under his new law and locked up. Others, he pushed out of the major cities, forcing them into tiny villages, outside of the protection of the Abby, and subjecting them to the tender mercies of the demons who still lurked in the wilderness."

"And for all of this, the people thanked him, idolized him, knelt before him. Now, they worship him as their "Savior", the man who will save the known world from the threat of the demons. Ignorant of what he did to get where he is. And even if they knew, would they even care? Would they see him for the monster that he is, more despicable then any demon? Or would they blindly ignore it, justify it, claim that "Reason" justified everything he did? I don't know. And I don't care. I will kill him."

She turned back to Griffith. "Does that answer your question?"

Lady (Workshop)-Still unhappy, what a surprise

"I wasn't just going to give her a pep talk and assume she'd be good! This was going to be something I worked on her with long term, while giving her an explanation to satisfy the robot thing! I know full well what it's like to feel nothing but hatred toward something, and that's why I was going through the effort of talking to her myself. I only brought her here for shooting training, and now there's no way any of us are going to be able to focus on that, because you had to step in like you knew any better!"

This last comment was followed up with Lady punching the nearest wall without looking at it in sheer frustration.

Crow's Nest

The uncertainty plaguing Mordred's head was washed away in an instant at 21's response. In all honesty she expected the Android to fly away. She wouldn't have been unsatisfied with that outcome, she at least could say she made a genuine effort. But this...this was something else. In the space of a half second a million responses went through Mordred's head, some of them snarky qupis, others romantic complements but she only arrived at one appropriate response.

Putting a hand around the back of 21's head, threading her fingers though he'd partner's hair she pulled the two of them together, kissing 21 slowly but passionately. She wanted to draw out the moment, because right now she was able to just forget. Right now there was no throne to take, no Father who wanted her dead, no universe dying and counting on her to do something about it. There was just her and 21.

Only after a good long while did she separate to catch her breath, letting her senses expand to the outside world again. "Hey you know 21...no one can really see us up here. What do you say? Could be a good memory." She said, not smirking but genuinely smiling at her.

Maria, Relieving Stress 101, Storage

"We do seem to have run into a wall as far as the conversation goes..." The old crone nodded, watching Lady pound at the wall in frustration. She was really into this whole situation. Admittedly, yes, Maria might have not thought this through (even if she felt her school was better here), but then again, it didn't seem like any of them were adequately prepared yet. All of it, of course, failed as soon as Amuro approached the young Zeonite in the first place of his own accord.

"Bah. Let us leave Puru be for now. All this stress can only be dealt with through old-fashioned violence." The old crone smirked slightly. "Would you fancy a spar with me, Lady?"

Griffith, On Reason, Main Room

"Reason over emotion". An ideal Griffith once strived to achieve, but soon realized that it simply cannot be done (even if still he preferred calculation first and action second). It nearly cost him everything, in fact. Artorius, apparently, went one further and put the goods of the many over the goods of the individual. A blob of collectives, a singular mechanism that is governed by him as the ever-correct Wise Man.

Velvet continued. Apparently Artorius enslaved an entire race of magical biddings and robbed them of their will, to be used as weapons as this Abbey of his wanted. Once he found the support of the common man, he began using his power to impose restrictions, censor free speech, silence dissidents. "Convince the lowest Midlandian that he's higher than the highest of Kushans, and he won't notice that you're picking his pocket. Give him someone to look down on, and he'll empty them for you." He said, quoting one of the political treatises he read back in a day.

"In an ideal world, Reason would be used to advance technology, improve quality of life, make conflict superfluous, a domain of barbarians... but that is a fairy tale, a utopia that cannot be realized. Humans - no, all sapients - are failible, prone to misjudgment, prone to spite and hatred for the sake of it." He chuckled, leaning back. "But that is what makes us what we are. To have no emotion is to feel no pain. One might think this a boon, but they'll sing a different tune once someone lops their arm off."

"Pain is a proof that we are alive, as is emotion. This Artorius of yours, he truly sounds like less a man and more of an alien from another world, a creature that thinks itself human and thinks what it does is human." A sigh. "So I'm happy to say that while some features we might share, there's too much separating us. However... there is something else to your tale, Miss Cro-no, Velvet."

"You don't strike me as someone who would care about the greater picture, as you just said. It just coincides with your quest of vengeance, something far more personal than a tyrant's oppression or the enslavement of some other race out there." A brief pause during which Griffith idly ran a hand through his hair, as if thinking about something. "...family, I would assume."

Living Room

"A Holy Grail War is a war between Servants and Masters, fighting until there's only one left so they can use the Holy Grail to grant their wishes. Servants descend down from the Throne of Heroes in an effort to realize a wish they've had in order to assuage their regrets or desires. I simply answered the call because I wanted to enjoy life once more no matter how quickly my existence fades... I never expected I would actually win though. So here I am." Eyes narrowing in reminisce, the paladin couldn't help but shake his head at those thoughts.

"The person that you want to kill sounds a lot like one of the few people in the world that I dislike. I think that alone is enough to bind our fates together, Master. Most ironic, that. Martyrs who try to impose their own brand of 'saving' on the people in such a manner at the expense of the few... These sorts of people..."

Looking decidedly less cheerful as he remembered the tail end of that particular cluster and what had transpired, the knight hefted out a melancholic sigh before fastening cloak back on and stepping out of the room. "I do believe it is time to sober up now." No longer enjoying the buzz, Rider of Black went off to get the rest of the alcohol out of his system.

Crow's Nest

Eyes widening at the actions taken, the surprised woman's first kiss was soon taken. The long and drawn out moment was most definitely not like anything 21 had ever experienced before in this life. Though it was slow and steady without any sort of wildness one would think the Traitorous Knight would be known for, it was still stimulating and exciting to the scientist. Relaxing until she felt like she had gone boneless, the construct showed her enthusiasm in a manner that showed Mordred that she was most definitely appreciating what was happening.

Sensations unknown flared to life and sparkled in her mind, melting the conscious inhibitions that the usually chained the scientist down. It was exhilarating and liberating, to not have to think of anything and to feel only pleasure. Addicting even... and just as sweet as candy though in a completely different manner from the sugary treats. To a woman like her who enjoyed sampling whatever was delicious... Mordred was already high up on that list of guilty pleasures.

Panting after resurfacing from that particularly intense scene that had just transpired, 21 took in a deep breath even as she felt blood rush about in a manner that was decidedly different from after a particularly harsh workout though it was no less intense. Had she been more restrained, the woman would have loved to compare the data between such states.

At this particular moment though, higher thinking had promptly been shut down in favor of giving primal instinct full control. "...I'd very much would love to remember something as nice as this." Giving her assent in both words as well as actions, 21 simply let Mordred experience everything she had to offer.

When Delta stepped over to the heated scene in the kitchen, Spawn took notice, and took his hand off his mouth as he looked at the diver. Subject Delta made her intentions kind of clear, non-verbally. She wanted some meat. Spawn shook his head quietly at Delta.

The Hellspawn suddenly slapped the Rubbermaid® containing the meat, sending the plastic container flying into a wall (though its contents remained safe inside), then went back to idling with his hand on his mouth and his eyes firmly closed.

Delta - Van - Kitchen

Delta stared in horror as the... the... the fucking demon slapped Susan's meat.

Bastard.

Quick as a flash, her left hand shot out towards the Rubbermaid® container as it slammed into the wall. Her fingers gripping onto nothing but the thin air, the invisible energy of her Telekinesis Plasmid grabbed the Rubbermaid® and held it in the air for a brief moment, preventing it from falling to the floor. Then with a flick of the wrist, she tugged the container towards her and into her hand.

With the container safely in-hand, Delta held it up and looked at it, then at her own right hand, which was covered in a drill. Cocking her right arm back so that the drill returned to a resting position on her arm, she used her newly-freed right hand to start opening the container.

Due to the advances in plastic technology developed by Rubbermaid® creating an air-tight seal to preserve freshness, it was taking Delta a moment to figure out how the container actually worked. Her clunky hands felt around for the seal, pressing lightly on the tub as they sought the crease that would let her open it.

The Van, Kitchen

Ammy narrowed her eyes and thrust her scroll back to face Max, not even bothering to turn her head as new words appeared upon it.

It is unwise to speak with such certainty on matters which you do not understand, Mortal.

That said, she returned her attention to Susan.

"Yes, Xilonecho, We did choose to become head goddess of Our pantheon. Our fellow Celestials clamored for Us to become their ruler, so We did. As for domains..."

She slid into a seat next to the other deity, eyes distant.

"Originally, We were only a personification of the Sun. Then We were a goddess of agriculture. Then We were also a guardian goddess. Then, eventually, We were a goddess said to reign over everything. Do You know what caused Our domain to expand each time, Xilonecho?"

She smiled beatifically at Susan, ready to impart something essential that her fellow divinity didn't seem to realize.

"It was human faith. They began to worship Us and pray to Us for those things before We became a true goddess of farming, or protection, or nature and the universe writ large. All You need to do is persuade humans to worship You for something other than cannibalism, and then their faith will empower You to become something other than You are now. It is as simple as that! As a fellow goddess, We will even help You to spread Your new faith, if that is what it takes for You to change Your ways. What do You say?"

In the midst of all this, the journey of the Rubbermaid® into Delta's gauntleted hands did not go unnoticed by the solar deity. Even as the figure in hulking armor attempted to open the container, Ammy swished her tail in a perfect little figure-eight, and the plastic was suddenly enveloped in a small sphere of divine flame.

Delta - Van - Kitchen

Delta once again found herself staring at the Rubbermaid® container as, once again, something happened to it. In this case, it set itself on fire. She was sure she wasn't the source of the fire, she hadn't used her plasmid to incinerate the damned thing, after all.

Or at least, pretty sure of it.

This put her in a predicament at the moment. On one hand, cooked meat was better than uncooked meat. On the other hand, ashes were worse than no meat. Faced with those two choices, she really had no choice at all.

Hands frosting over as she called on her old reliable Winter's Blast plasmid, it iced over the exterior of the container and extinguished the fire. Then in a hurry she smashed the Rubbermaid® onto the counter to shatter the now-fragile plastic, and exposing the meaty goodness inside.

Using one hand to scoop up the mass of meat, and the other to open the hinge on her faceplate, Delta slammed the glob of food into her mouth in one swift action, and then happily chewed away.

So much Goddamn work just to get one measly handful of meat. Flawless, rich, pure meat, but still just a drop in the bucket of her Big Daddy Hunger.

And it was still less complicated a process compared to finding food in Rapture. What a fucking world they lived in.

Noire- Van, Kitchen

("Brother? I thought...")

Noire knew she could be... harsh at times, to put things lightly. Even she, though, could tell that, considering someone is covering for them, might be a bad idea to point that out... and not just because she didn't want to get into a fight. What was that girl's deal?

Speaking of deals, what just happened? She could accept the giant suit of armor at this point, but then there was telekinesis? and is it a robot or a person inside a robot? These questions, and tons more, are not going to be answered anytime soon for her, Noire feels, so it was about time to sit down and have some rice.

Magilou- Bar

"Well, that's more the practical magic... Of course I can do other things! Child's play for a witch such as me!"

As if from nowhere, some streamers appeared to burst out of her sleves.

"It's not like I don't want to be noticed." She answered Harley's question. "It's just that I'm not usually supposed to. Usually people need high enough resonance with Seraphim to see them. Either everyone we've seen so far has that level... or I was messed with. And I will send a formal complaint if it's the latter! I did not give consent."

Jeanne Alter- Van, Living Room

"Why would I be happy? I'm being forced along on some cosmic search and something road trip and the only two people I recognize are you and... him." Huffing at the Palidin, she gave two seconds of thought to Astolfo's question. Two seconds she slapped herself mentally for giving.

"Four? I was not aware there was four of us. That said, it can't be that big of a threat. Otherwise all of Chadela would be on it."

Where were they, anyways? This is the exact thing they are supposed to cover for. Besides shaking her head still that her of all people, Jeanne and Astolfo stayed after a Holy Grail War, even the Dragon Witch wasn't exactly keen on this "Artorius" guy.

At the risk of being a major hypocrite, summoning a bunch of people to do your bidding is, besides a really unreliable method that usually ends with one being sent back to whence they came when it inevitably goes wrong, is probably a sure sign your "order" is anything but.

Carmilla & Sypha, Screw This, We're Leaving

"You know what... Never mind," Carmilla wave her hand dismissively at the attempts to explain what subs and nukes were and then decided to head outside with Sypha in tow. Spotting Tetra, the vampiresses looked at Tetra.

"Did you get any of what those two were trying to explain?" Carmilla asked Tetra. "Because I sure did not."

"You look like a pirate of some sort," Sypha tilted her head to look at Tetra. "Are you?"
