We finally got an update for DS 2, including its full title; "Death Stranding 2: On the Beach" and will be releasing in 2025. Also George Miller is in this.
They also announced that Kojima and partnering up with Sony again to make another new action-espionage game / multimedia project

I suppose if they’re going to do more ambitious blockbuster type films, that is a good place for them to start.
