Berserkalot is probably the one the most susceptible to her in that case.

The poor man's entire existence and fall into the Berserker-class is solely due to guilt after all...

And now there's a ton of different "AAAAAAAAARRRTTTHHUUUURRRRRRRRRRRS!" in Chaldea...

I wasn't thinking because of the guilt thing, that's just an opening.

Nah, Protection of the Fairies and his entire background.†

† It gets extra funny when you realise that even when Morgan's trying to kill her, Artoria's still running around with her blessing so she won't fall in the bloody water.

Avalon le Fae started on June 14th with Sion saying we can stay there for 50 days. The last part opens on August 4th, the 50th day after release. Nasu probably thinks this shit is so clever.

[up]Turns out the blessing was Morgan wanting Arthuria to stay the fuck out of her lake.

The distance between part 1 and part 2 was 28 days too, which was the amount of time spent in part 1 IIRC

So Part 3 is basically going to be the moment the big butterfly-bomb is about to go off?

(Or for symbolism, the big moth-cocoon is about to hatch.)

...

Okay, best servants to pair up with MHXX?

To get the most out from her, that is.

(Besides Cas-Gil.)

Nasu galaxy brain moves.

Tristan was targeted due to his immense feelings of guilt and regret over the actions of his Sir counterpart, which led him to isolate himself in the simulator.

Tristan issues go so much deeper than that. He basically though himself incapable of love, because he felt he betrayed the woman who loved him for one he only loved because of magic potion. The Reverse Tristan only came up because he though it revealed the real him - the cold, unfeeling monster who never loved anyone in his life.

God I just saw someone describe Beryl as worse version of the FSN villains by combining the traits of each one: Gil’s hedonism, Kireis Born That Way, and Shinji’s cowardice.

Also the Irony that Fairy Tristans last life was ruined thanks to Morgan herself and how she didn’t keep Beryl under constant watch and he did the rest in destroying her(And Beryls actions lead the two to torment Woodwose after his defeat with the lack lack of reinforcements, meaning they helped set in Aurora venomous whispers about him being abandoned by Morgan with their pointless cruelty).

It really does show how Morgan’s unchecked cruelty itself lead to her own defeat.

Morgan is literally the only good thing that ever happened to Tristan, let's not deflect the blame for other's misdeeds on her, okay?

OmegaRadiance Since: Jun, 2011

No it was her cruelty being left unchecked that turned everyone against her in the end. Or lead those she cared about to be destroyed by those she allowed to be around for their own unchecked cruelty.

Burning the Welsh Forest was the final thing Oberon needed to commit, her cruelty is why Auroras lies work so well as it wouldn’t be out of character for Morgan to do stuff like that, and she keeps Beryl and Tristan around who likewise keep spreading pointless cruelty to the point they turned one of her most devoted followers against her.

[up] And then she proceeded to let her hang out with a piece of shit like Beryl. Who goes out of his way to destroy her exactly as it happened before.

In the end Morgan set her up to get fucked just with extra steps, which IS the tragedy of it. Morgan loving Tristan didn’t save her from her fate.

Fairies turned on her because that's what they do - they betray for little or no reason, simply because they felt like it.

Can't wait for Artoria to bring them the only salvation they deserve - death.

Before the thing that screwed over Morgan was a few key Fey going against her. This time it’s that her tyranny led to almost everyone wanting her get sacked. Leading to a situation so bad that she couldn’t properly do her time looping thing in time before she died for good this time.

But she also gave them legitimate reason to turn on her.

Why does Gawain turn on her? Because she does not care for the fae.

Why did Woodwose turn on her? Because he was lead to believe by Bitch, Oberon, Aurora, Beryl, AND Fairy Tristan that she betrayed him and left him to die.

Her unchecked cruelty for 2000 years has given the Fae a legitimate reason to turn on her for once, and that made it all the easier for Auroras lies to work as the way Morgan acts would give them confirmation bias.

All I’m saying is Aurora may be a piece of shit herself, but she clearly knows how to play the Game of Thrones.

And the real flaw in the plan was caring about anyone in the first place. If you're going to be a tyrant, don't have a weakness. [lol]

I'd like to merge Aurora and Beryl together somehow, then get back at them.

The tyranny was only necessary because the nice way wasn't working with those bastards. Boot on the throat is the only way to keep them in check long enough to implement a permanent solution to the whole "World is trying to kill us" problem.

And now Morgan's dead, simply because she opened her heart to just one fairy. But it's a "congratulations, you've played yourself" moment for the faries, since now they're stuck between the Great Calamity, and Artoria, who's solution is just to kill them all.

Morgan's big mistake was trying to save them in the first place. It's impossible, and they're not worth the heartache.

Remember that when Part 1 came out, everyone thought that Morgan was super neglectful towards Tristan which is the reason why she's so bloodthirsty since Morgan would only show approval at her when she did her mission. It isn't until Part 2 that it is revealed that Morgan even doing that is better than anything else that has happened to her. She isn't getting "World's Best Mom" mugs anytime soon, just that she can at least show some kind of empathy.

Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru!

I feel like if you’re at the point where you think being a ruthless tyrant hated by all but like two people is the only way to potentially win, then you might want to reevaluate your thinking process

Seriously, if Lostbelt Morgan is this bad, how the hell did so many of Morgan's children turn out sane?

Also, this is perfect. (featuring chibi morgan and aurora)

[up] Well, being nice multiple times over thousands of years failed.

Can kind of see why someone would snap at that point.

Morgan was going to have them all die anyways. So letting her live was never going to work out. Even her court was worrying about how protecting Camelot alone would protect an empty Britain.

All she needs is to keep her Camelot safe and Britain will survive.

Morgan had all these powers:

1. dimensional transportstion magic that uses a mirrors to travel around

2. 12 spears from the end of the world at camelot's gate

3. A tower that erects a barrier over all of britain

4. A garden to seal merlin

5. And the ability to rayshift without using coffin

6. Able to make clones of equal strength of herself

All that power and she underestimated a third party because she didn’t even register the fae as a threat

[up]x3 Beryl himself confirms she’s neglectful of Fairy Tristan in Part 2. It’s part of his plan to set up Tristans “Mercy Kill’.

But that she did give her a piece of the mirror as a gift in the past.

And the ability to rayshift without using coffin

Is it really impressive when she basically has to die to pull this off

I agree. Morgan shouldn't become a tyrant, she should've just stepped back and let faries fend for themselves since they hate her interference so much.

But she was too deeply committed to the whole "saving Britain from being a lifeless wasteland" thing to give up at this point

Yes. Since all that matters is sending the information back to change things.

Then she gets to kill those who killed her by changing the timeline enough and can ensure she kills them again a second time in the future when they meet

Rainah@ Sane might be stretching it since Knights of the Round have their quirks and Morgan's children are no exception.

By the standards of a bunch of medieval knights, Gawain, Lancelot (well, technically), Agravain, Gaheris, and Gareth all came out pretty damn well adjusted.

Pretty sure Gawain and Lancelot are considered some of the bigger emotional messes to come out of the Round Table.
