I'm not sure they're actually slit pupils, given the artist's other characters; I think it's just because they're not that open.
Avatar SourceHe's just got slightly distinct eyes, there's nothing more to it
I absolutely cannot help but adore handsome 2D boysThose actually haven't been explained. From what I can find, Tristan doesn't have any inhuman blood in him, nor does he have any overt magical connections like with the Fae.
His eyes just may be naturally gold in color with slit pupils.
EDIT: Man, I'm slow to reply.

Vegeta: I'm back bitches!I think it's just to make him that much more jarring when he opens his eyes. To show that he's getting serious, or that he's really pissed, and it takes you aback even more.
Hm...
Perhaps it's just a side-effect of that love potion he drank.
...
So, CBC(Spider) is coming...
...What is everyone's assumed opinion about it thus far and what to expect from it?
I can't remember all that much about it aside from Moriarty making a really dapper bartender. I really like that costume; rolled for him on JP because of it.
Avatar SourceIt basically reads like one long interlude for Moriarty with not much else.
An interlude with three currencies, an event shop and a grail attached to it?
That's independent of the story. Ah yeah, this event is the type where characters are "acting" like completely different people due to "brain replacing this with people you know" mumbo jumbo, so if you're the type not hot on that, a warning I guess
I absolutely cannot help but adore handsome 2D boysOh, like the "Murder Mystery" last year then?
I'm all for that. The last one was actually pretty fun to try and figure out.
...
(Watched a video with Moriarty's new costume in combat)
I might be just imagining it, but does Moriarty actually look younger when clad as a bartender than he usually does in his regular outfit?
The Grail wasn't even intended to be in the event originally, that was just Nasu telling DW to do him a solid because oh no he's one Grail short with his current plans
Moriarty doesn't look any significantly younger or older to me, he's just a bit "cleaner" looking with his hair down so that gives the illusion of youth.

I absolutely cannot help but adore handsome 2D boysAllow me to elaborate on what I meant with the youth-statement.
I think he looks "younger" as a bartender, because in contrast to his regular self, which is an old man trying to look younger than he actually is (and ends up looking older than he actually is as a result), his bartender-self basically is one that stops trying this and just let himself look the age he actually is.
Hence, ironically, making him look "younger" as a consequence solely due to actually carrying that age with pride rather than trying to cover it up.
I've never gotten the impression Moriarty had ever even once tried to look younger. He is constantly vocal about how old he looks and feels
I absolutely cannot help but adore handsome 2D boys(It's the hairstyle.)
What does that have do with him actively trying to make himself look younger?
I absolutely cannot help but adore handsome 2D boysLook at said hairstyle.
The way it is combed is more fitting for someone two or three decades younger than his age.
I didn't know slicked back hair had suddenly manifested and age range. It's more just a "british gentleman" style to me than anything else

I absolutely cannot help but adore handsome 2D boysProbably just my personal opinion in regards to that hairstyle as "old men trying to look young and attractive as they were in their youths" than anything else.
...speaking of Moriarty.
Does he count as a support-archer than a damage-dealer in his own right, based on his skill-set that is, than someone who needs support himself?
And if so, how good of a support is he in comparison to the other support-archers?
He's mediocre
I absolutely cannot help but adore handsome 2D boysMeaning?
He's decent but not spectacular. Anything he does, somebody else does better.
at least Moriarty's "label them evil" skill is amusing just for the straight forwardness of what that can do
Calling Moriarty a support Archer is like calling Artoria a support Saber. His third skill is more about team synergy than really helping others. He is the one who really needs help since he can't necessarily get the stars he needs for second skill. The strengthening sort of helps with the two problems, but you'd still need someway to get the stars.
Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru!
It's the golden eyes with slit pupils I'm referring to, by the way.
They stand out quite a bit when compared to the rest of the KOTR, to be honest.
