May you be blessed by the Angel of Death, Daddy Hassan.
I've used him a few times as Support, and he's quite awesome.
I just wish I could get a really good Berserker too, like Lancelot or something. So far I've gotten Caligula, Lu Bu, Asterios, and Spartacus.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Lu Bu's not too bad, he's generally regarded as the best 3* berserkers. But it's a given that berserkers need babysitting, especially the sub-4* ones.

re: trailers, the one I tend to watch over and over is Tokugawa because it manages to pack in every plot-relevant detail in such a short time, Tanaka's voice just really adds a certain texture to Abyss of Decadence, and its tone is just so different from most FGO stuff

All of the FGO trailers are so cool. Wish there was some compilation I could find.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.There's some in You Tube.
Speaking of trailers, are some of the Lostbelts part of the game now in NA?
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Lu Bu and Spartacus are considered good Berserkers, the former being the only ST non-Gold ‘Zerker, the latter for having a decent battery to hasten farming. The problem with Lu Bu is that he’s easily outclassed by any ST Gold ‘Zerker, while Sparty retains his niche as a wave clearer/farmer.
Nope. We still have Salem for 1.5; Losbelt 1 should pop up sometime next year April.

Hitokiri in the streets, daishouri in the sheets.x2 Nope, they only start showing up next year.
Right now, we're in the Epic of Renmant chapter.

I see, alright then.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Technically the Lostbelts' equivalent to the Fuyuki prologue + opening movie will be in December if NA sticks to the schedule.
also that prologue and future Lostbelts will not require completion of any of the Epic of Remnant chapters so don't worry about having to complete those as soon as possible.
For those attending the Anime NYC, there'll be a Case Files event happening there.
Of course, it's still better to complete them ASAP because Saint Quartz.
Somewhat related to trailers, which song do you guys and gals consider to represent Arc 1,5? For me it’s Heretics.
Yeah I agree it's definitely Heretics because it's an absolute banger with the most interesting lyrics about the Pseudo-Singularity's main Servant
Though from the regular soundtrack for non-vocal songs, probably the EOR Fatal or Grand Battle theme just because of how they're the primary musical unifier for all five parts.
Edited by Nouct on Nov 7th 2019 at 3:07:36 AM
Heretics is fantastic, but I prefer Ittou Ryouran more.
As for non-vocals, for me it's a toss up between the Shimousa Battle Theme and the Salem one:
Well, I lie, my actual favorite non-vocal song is the remake of Light & Darkness, but as it is blatant (if greatly appreciated) fanservice, it's out of the running by default.
But speaking of old songs, anyone else gets Hype Backlash from "Emiya"? I noticed it around the time Shimousa remade it, but it's a really repetitive and kinda boring melody, at least if detached from any scene.
Dont misuse Hype Backlash like that.
Its not base on your taste or what not, but more constantly seeing misuse and shoehorning of tropes that make me see that.
no I agree Emiya is pretty lame overall especially considering it overshadows a bunch of significantly better tracks
like for all of Kajiura's faults, I'm glad that the HF movies won't do a remix of that
also when it comes to trailer themes, I'm still waiting for those outbreak remixes Fukusawa!!
Uuhh...Emiya is getting used in the next movie tho.
Emiya gets hyped up because it's the track that gets used in the series' most significant moments, so of course its going to stand out among the others. There are a lot of good tracks in the series, but EMIYA is kind of the breakout track.
Now whether you like it or not is merely a matter of taste, but I can understand being tired of hearing about it.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.As long as she still keeps Light & Darkness, I'm good.
Also give Shirou the Adaptational Badass treatment: seeing him getting up after being pounded into paste every time worked in the Visual Novel, but in a more visual medium, it's probably just gonna be lame.

I mean, Shirou gets his ass kicked because he's a squishy human.
Sometimes you forget Shirou (and by extension, Emiya) are not actually supposed to be that strong...they're just ridiculously skilled and resourceful.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Uuuugh, this freaking dragon.
