Roll for who you want though it doesn’t hurt for gameplay purposes as mentioned
Who was your tutorial roll?
Double post

Best would be Fox JK, Carmilla or Emiya. I remember my was Stheno and Sieg, and i was play when Chapter 3 was about to be release in NA so those 2 were the worse.

E.T technically is a Isekai movieD'Eon was my tutorial servant. Not very hard hitting, but nice tanking ability early in the campaign.
My tutorial roll in NA was Herc, which was very handy for blitzing through the early game.
JP didn't have the tutorial 4* when I started so technically the tutorial roll was just Ushiwakamaru, but I grabbed Emiya from the free 4* promotion so him I guess.
Mine was Siegfried; although I learned of his reputation, I gave him a try because he was my first gold servant and remained my only gold saber until Rama came to my Chaldea in chapter 5.
Edit:
Besides, I believe it's thanks to him that Brynhildr came to my Chaldea during her trial quest.

Instead of focusing on relatives that divide us, maybe we should try to find the absolutes that tie us.Gotterdammerung section 16 translated
surtr... good
Sigh.
What can I do for you, I wonder? I, who cannot be anything but flame, who cannot do anything but destroy. What can I do for you? —How should I repay you?
ophelia... also good... mashu/ophelia...
…You really have grown beautifully, haven’t you? …that’s really great. I’m really happy, Mashu. The other “me”, who was always looking out of the window in that Chaldea bound by ice and snow.
…Though it might trouble you to be compared to someone like me, who could only live each day cowardly—-
I always… (———wanted to be friends with you)
I forget what mine was.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.lol
Mine was Jeanne, god bless her
I think mine was either Elisabeth or EMIYA.
You can get a 5* in your tutorial roll?!
I think she was the only one at release
Yes, rerolling for 5* is a valid strategy, but only at starters.
Edit:
Don’t forget OG Artoria.

Instead of focusing on relatives that divide us, maybe we should try to find the absolutes that tie us.I'm fairly certain it isn't actually possible to get an SSR during the starter roll, though it's entirely possible to receive more than one SR. I myself received Sumanai for my tutorial, though I had no idea about his reputation at the time, so I didn't bother rerolling for someone like Herc or Emiya.
Hitokiri in the streets, daishouri in the sheets.yeah you can't get an SSR from the tutorial roll but rerolling the first roll with all the Quartz they hand out is fairly easy
I did that for Altera in NA
FGO: starring Nobunaga Shimazaki
My tutorial roll gave me d'Eon and Marie. d'Eon is pretty good tank whenever I need it and I lack any fancier farmers so Kaleidoscope it is for Marie and off to dailies. To kill casters, that is. I have Scatassin for everything else.
Talking about daily missions, word of advice, Librarian - not all daily missions are worth you AP.
Ember gathering: Bronze and silver exp cards give miniscule experience compared to gold cards, but require just as much Quantum Particles for enhancement. 40 AP mission is way to go for exp cards. If you want to farm Mana Prisms, do 30 AP missions and sell (burn) silver cards in da Vinci's shop.
Material gathering: Only one where doing all missions is worthwhile. Mostly because you'll need obscene quantities of common materials. Not that rare materials are lying around, but you'll get not insignificant amounts from event shops. Evil bones, true to their name, will haunt you on every step.
QP gathering: Higher mission levels give exponentially more QP so 40 AP mission is way to go. When starting out, QP may seem like Money for Nothing, but it couldn't be further from truth. It may not be compelling to spend time and AP for QP gathering early on when upgrading your heroes is still cheap, but don't forget about these missions. You'll need them.
Heeey, Altera was also my first SSR! I'm fairly certain I also got her from the free Quartz you get, or from the beginner bonus from when I first started. Artoria was when I rolled the story banner a couple times before I knew better, and Waver, Orion, Okita and Jeanne soon followed during the first GudaGuda event for me.
Hitokiri in the streets, daishouri in the sheets.I remember the first time I played F/GO I got d'Eon as a tutorial servant, but I don't remember now.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Altera was my first SSR, too. Got her alongside Tama Cat. Good times.
She's my second SSR to hit Bond 10, too, Waver being the first, the poor overworked guy. He's earned his rest and he doesn't actually come out that often anymore for me outside of the really difficult challenge quests. Same with Altera, when I need another AoE Saber on the field.
Hitokiri in the streets, daishouri in the sheets."FGO: starring Nobunaga Shimazaki"
I noticed that there are some characters still missing.
The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests.Okay, decided to sacrifice at least some Saint Quartz to get new servants. Got a gold Saber (Yagyu Tajima-no-kami Munenori, apparently), along with another Hassan (this one from Fate/Zero, the one that could make lots of different versions of themselves), Romulus, and Medea.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Francis Drake was my first SSR Servant and us already bond 10.
Munenori is a great Saber so congrats on rolling him
Waver is the all-around support, Tamamo is the arts support, Merlin is the buster support, Skadi is the quick support.
