Or it might be dealing with the Death of Maya to a more positive healing. He WAS getting better, from what little I understand of the base game, because of his relationship with her. Maybe her death sent him into relapse but the DLC will push him into a major step of recovery.

...or maybe it's just a Borderlands does Psychonauts and American Mc Gee's Alice episode.

I'm getting it; I friggin' loved Krieg. He was my favorite vault hunter to play in 2.

And I agree Bounty of Blood was merely okay. Nowhere near as good as Mad Moxxi's Heist, but decent enough.

Finished the Fustercluck story and its sidequests. It's good to go through a story with characters I cared about once more. Haven't noticed any outstanding weapons though.

It was also nice to see Axton and Salvador in a credits drawing.

I feel like I'm doing something wrong, matchmaking can never find me someone else to play with.

First part of the second Season Pass is announced. New mode called Arms Race, where you start off with nothing and have to improvise with the gear obtained in the level. Axton and Salvador are the game mode's announcers, leaving Athena as the only past Vault Hunter unaccounted for in Borderlands 3.

It sounds almost perfect to me, though I would like to be able to use skill trees. Maybe they'll add that later in a separate mode.

Gearbox Software will become a subsidiary of Embracer Group, who also owns THQ Nordic.

...I don't suppose this means they can dispose of Randy Pitchford?

Getting rid of Pitchford is a pipe dream. And I don't believe in miracles until I get real confirmation.

Let's hope for something more realistic, like the big plan for the second season pass. So far we have nothing, which is one reason why people aren't too fond of buying the Arms Race pack yet.

I suppose it's high-time I experience what all that Rhys-Vaughn business is all about for myself after playing Borderlands 3 with two vault hunters.

Edit: Also the Director's Cut of Borderlands 3 is in the works. Sadly I think it's a bit much to ask for them to revamp the story completely and have all of the second game's base vault hunters play a part, as well as Athena, but they said they'll add more side missions and even main story missions. Somehow...

The only thing I wish they could change (but can't) is that instead of killing Maya is have her depowered like Lilith. Killing her off felt cheap, but having her stick around without her powers would have been a more constant reminder of the threat posed.

Any more changes would require a lot of extra dialogue to change the character arc for the twins. Make them more of a serious threat.

I'd still kill her off, but that event would happen much later. That, and it wouldn't be due to a child being incredibly reckless, and be more about the villains being an active threat than it being a horrible series of coincidences. Of course, this would make her death much more cruel, but that's the point. Long story.

Yeah I found that out just now. Corrosive pistol, stay in the elevator. It's still a slog though because the Eridians just dogpile you at the door and you need oxygen. Just got to be more careful and responsive.

The fight is tedious though otherwise.

In Borderlands 3 what's the best build for Amara?

The wealth of choice is giving me vertigo. I don't know where to take this beautiful Indian goddess of death.

I'm getting tired of poking back and forth through her menu to see what does what at this point, figuring out what mode switch means, etc.

I can't help you; Amara is the only character I haven't played (went through all the content sans later boss raids as Zane and Moze and only just got off Pandora as Flak).

Ah, no worries.

Funny enough Flak is the one I haven't tried yet. I haven't beaten the game with anybody, but I'm farthest with Amara. Tried Zane and Moze but only got to Eden-6 with either.

The side missions feel more exhausting in this entry due to all of the fetch quests lingering around on each map.
