As some of you may have noticed, TV Tropes latest version made it so that while editing a page, most special characters are replaced by their HTML equivalent. This can turn some non-English pages into complete gibberish, and if you're like me, you'd prefer to edit a page that you can actually read.

Thus, I made a (simple yet effective) JavaScript script to correct this issue. To use it, simply create a new bookmark and copy-paste the script in the "Adress" field. Then, when editing a page, simply click the bookmark and ta-da, all HTML codes have been replaced by the corresponding characters.

I'm sure I've forgotten a few characters, so do not hesitate to tell me if a certain character is not handled by the script (state the character and the HTML code) so that I can add it to a new version of the script.

Hope you'll find that useful !
