Penultimate episode of season 2, and we're still dealing with the Aixs Church loons.

The second Kazuma hears about mix baths, he's out to scope the scene like a scumbag. Even better when Darkness and Megumin totally play him not once, but twice, first by sucker punishing him when he tries peaking between the wood bars, and again when they swipe his clothes.

the second half though, is even better when Kazuma and Megimin get harassed by the Axis Cult, leading Aqua getting attacking by her followers after trying to tell them who she is.

I managed to make so◊ many◊ quality◊ gifs◊ out of this episode.

The town turning on Aqua for pretending to be Aqua is the best.

Man wouldn't it be great if this is another Spice and Wolf. I hope this isn't a case where the anime is just a vehicle for the lns. If that ends up being the case, I'm going to have to read Light Novels.

That's what adaptations typically are, advertisement for the source material.

I think the L Ns have an official English release at least.

They do but it's only the first two that have a release date so far, and the second is in April. So it's going to take a while for it to catch up to the anime.

Speaking of, it will take another 3 seasons to get where the light novels are in the anime if it keeps it's current pace. It goes through about 2 books a season.

Actually, the first two volumes are out; saw them in Barnes and Noble today.

Huh, Wikipedia said the second wasn't to come out until April 18th this year. Would change it if I knew when the volume actually came out.

Huh. I actually like Kono Suba's short seasons. Keeps things fresh, doesn't overstays it welcome and if we get a third ten episode season next winter I'll be happy, if Deen can keep up the quality.

Yeah, it's for the best if they keep it to a low number and don't mess with the pacing of the volume they're adapting. I've seen what could happen if an LN anime doesn't, and I wouldn't want that to repeat itself here.

This felt like a completely different episode to another series...but goddamn was it awesome because of it....ya know, despite it being a Pyrrhic Victory in the end.

Welp...that's it...I only have Ms. Kobayashi's Dragon Maid before my Wednesdays lose meaning. ;_;
