This topic feels awfully familiar, but I'll answer all the same because I can't get any sleep and it's 1 in the morning.
Easily identifiable Fandom-Specific Plot, so it's acceptance or rejection will depend on the viewer.
I can see why this would be seen as stupid. It's convoluted as fuck for very little return value.
This doesn't sound like a bad idea, but using the characters you want to use isn't sounding like a good idea to me either. Another one I could see being laughed at.
I can't see myself reading anything like this, but it doesn't mean it's a bad idea.
Standard fanfic plot, no matter what work. Depends on execution.
I'd never read it. It sounds completely removed from anything the cartoon Titans actually do or would even use.
For what reason? Right now it sound poorly developed.
I don't see why he had to be purple, but Evil Counterpart isn't automatically a bad trope.
If I was Trigon and required one of my offspring to open a portal to the real world, I'd leave as many bastards behind as possible
It's worth keeping in mind, however, leaving numerous demonic children abandoned around is like doing your best to invite a revolt against you eventually.
Raven having a brother has been done before. Or at the very least I have seen fan art of it (the popular fanon name for him would be Crow for obvious reasons). I haven't seen it been done well though which is rather sad as I can see some serious potential in the idea.
Beast Boy having a connection to an alien race wouldn't really make sense. Having him being able to shapeshift into an alien after some serious training would make sense though and has been done well before.
The Terra plot has been before both well and badly. Never saw the Blackfire plot done well.
I don't think Slade would trust an Alien Warlord well enough to work alongside him.
The Clones idea is indeed very convoluted. On the topic of the H.I.V.E team I have not seen them being utilized much by the Teen Titans Fandom. Which is sad really.
You could probably have
- OC joins the H.I.V.E team by there free will or not
- The H.I.V.E team quits being affiliated with H.I.V.E and carves there own path in the world. They work a different training regime to match up against the Titans. I personally think that this would be an interesting one.
- Different roster from the beginning, changes course of battles. Have say Jinx, Kid Wykkd, and Angel.

Didn't read that one. I'll get right to that. Should be interesting.
I guess the clones idea could work with Brother Blood spearheading the idea. Where he would get that technology would have to be very much expanded upon.
You could probably do a whole fic out of just that. Him putting together a new team, training them, having them steal the technology, creating the clones, having the new team face off against the clone teams, etc.
I just have to ask these following questions
1. If Slade were take on yet another apprentice what would his options be among the already existing characters (and that includes the characters from the Teen Titans Go! Comic book series)?
2. Since both the Brain and Dr. Light and Psimion have both tried the whole ‘villains unite in order to take down the heroes’ thing and have both tried to use a couple of very good strategies while doing so (taking down the Teen Titans all simultaneously and attacking the core members in order to eliminate the foundation of the entire organization) if Slade were to try such a scheme for himself what do you think his type of strategy would be and how would he fair when compared to the Brain or Psimion and Dr. Light?
Um, maybe you should take this to Writer's Block. That's where people are supposed to go to get help with writing.
I may be wrong on that, though.
For a long time, i've had some ideas for the original Teen Titans series after its fifth season. I have posted them on one forum in the past, but mostly got negative responses for them. So, i ask you, are these really that bad ideas?
1. Terra returning to the fold within the Titans - She seemed like too good a member for the team to let go (even with what happened in Season 2 in mind). At first i was leaning towards either her getting her memory back or the girl seen in "Things Change" simply not being her. But now, I'm thinking of taking a page from what i heard about from the comics and making the new Terra be a clone of Terra (Terra II)
2. Clones of Kyd Wykyd, Angel and Jinx being created and the first two becoming Teen Titans while the Jinx clone replaces the old Jinx as a villain.
3. Slade forming a pact with an Alien warlord from Starfire's past and the two of them becoming a team against the Titans. Granted, when i thought of this new character, i had Chuckles the Silly Piggy from "Dave the Barbarian" and a one time appearing character from "The Fairly Odd Parents" in mind, and i had DBZ and Power Ranger Villains in mind when i thought of his minions. But, i really think this could have worked.
4. Raven having a demonic little brother
5. Blackfire joining the Titans as villain turned hero
6. A race of Alien Birds older than time joining the Titans as their personnel and aerial army, and the leaders joining as members of the team. I should probably point out that i had characters from a Book series-turned into a TV show in mind when i thought of this one.
7. Beast Boy having connections with a race of alien Snake creatures.
8. Beast Boy having a Purple skinned counterpart as an enemy
Are these ideas really all that bad?
