Pokemon director Junichi Masuda is heading to E3 2016.

Here's a list of participating companies for E3 2016.

Also, with the announcement of Pokemon Sun and Moon makes sense Junichi Matsuda would be coming to E3.

Surprisingly few companies start with 'N'.

I forgot this: Take-Two is going to be at E3 "in a big way," teases CEO Strauss Zelnick.

Looks like Red Dead 3 will be this year's Fallout 4.

So it sounds like Microsoft truly wants to make the Xbox One into just another PC and are talking about releasing updated versions of Xbox One with slightly better hardware each year instead of a Xbox Two next generation, Three the generation after that etc.

This sounds like a really bad idea(people usually buy a console instead of a PC because then they don't have to think about replacing it for 5-7 years and knows that all games released for the console are playable on it without having to care for the tech inside)but I guess we'll hear more at E3.

Activision won't have a booth on the floor, but will still have presence at this year's show.

From the fourth paragraph:

Well yeah, Sony will have all their trailers etc.

More skipping E3. SE will still have the KH stuff there.

So will the big 3, Ubi, and Square be the only ones left next at this rate?

Last year Disney had a huge booth but only one game in it(Disney Infinity). This year they aren't updating it that much so a trailer at Sony is the only thing they need.

The big 3 have as much space as they usually have. Nothing new.

Also, Capcom has a pretty large booth for Monster Hunter, Ace Attorney, Umbrella Corps, and Street Fighter DLC.

Wow, that's not a great lineup.

Well we're about 3 months away from E3 and since discussion has died i figured i'd ask what you guys expect, want and hope to see?

By expect i mean stuff you know is going to happen. Want is stuff you'd like to see, and hope is for your outlandish stuff no matter how slim.

For example...i expect Nintendo to show the NX that a given, I want to see more FF 7 remake stuff (not yet confirmed to be there but would be nice to see), I HOPE as always for ubisoft to finally do something with Beyond Good and evil 2....

Also if you've started to make plans and preparations for the Christmas of gamers...

At least now's the time to start checking out sites for when the keynotes get announced.

I expect FF7R and KHIII from Square, and Pokemon from Nintendo.

I hope that the 25 Anniversary Sonic game will be awesome so people will finally shut up. I hope BG&E is Nintendo-exclusive for the salt.

I expect a new Mario game, whatever Retro is working on, and some unexpected stuff from Nintendo.

I want to see the NX.
I hope it's good.
I expect all discussion of it to turn into an unapproachable firestorm for the next six months at least.

• Metroid Prime Federation Force is good
• Paper Mario Color Splash is good
• Zelda Wii U has a release date within the year
• Monster Hunter Generations cancelled, and Monster Hunter Cross G + Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate is instead revealed (yeah right)
• Monster Hunter Stories localization announced
• Splatoon Expansion
• Kingdom Hearts III delayed to hell and back
• All sports games sequels are banned from E3...

I think that's a good idea... with the caveat that all games have to work on all "Xbox One" versions, they should ONLY have improved graphics and maybe loading times on the never versions.

Expectations (only partially serious):

• Microsoft: Gears, Scalebound, Phantom Dust (will be cancelled in 6 months), Conker in Halo as a treat for our fans, *yawn*, Xbox Two.
• Bethesda: DLC DLC DLC.
• Ubisoft: You're cool with us again, right? Division DLC, For Honor, all the online multiplayer open-world games you can handle, Watch Dogs 2 (trust us you'll like our iconic protagonist this time).
• Sony: HOLY SHIT IT'S THE LAST GUARDIAN, FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE, AND SHENMUE III GET HYPE!
• Activision: Sony can do our work showing off COD and Destiny. And presenting Ghostbusters, which may or may not be done by Platinum.
• Capcom: Okay, so Resident Evil 7 is going to be even bigger and scarier than the rest. See all these guns and explosions? Spooky isn't it. So spooky Sony had to fund it for us, because we're too scared to put our own money there.
• Square: We promise to find new and creative ways to screw up our western branch. We are also still dedicated to making sure Final Fantasy VIIR comes out for its 20th anniversary and XV for its 10th.
• Take-Two: Guys, we're not going to release the next Red Dead until you stop buying GTAV. So I guess we won't need to show it off for another half decade.
• Nintendo: What is this 3DS or Wii U you speak of? NX? Yeah, we're launching that with Zelda. And this sweet new minigame collection. And Pokemon. That's right, we're launching with Zelda and Pokemon bitches. Here's Smash, Pikmin, 3D Mario, Mario Kart, Metroid, Animal Crossing, yeah, we got our franchises covered. Now here's Beyond Good & Evil 2, because apparently that's a big deal. I hope you enjoyed our tour of the NX library.

I expect to see Half-Lif- is shot

But seriously, some FFVII Remake stuff, KHIII stuff, and the NX with decent launch titles are about all that I reasonably want. Some Zelda U stuff would also not be remiss.

I think Sony can pull a few rabbits outta their hats, but it'll be hard to top last year's bonanza.
