This'll probably become just a 2016 E3 thread in practice, but we've over a year to see if that'll be the case.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to having news to talk about here in half a year.
I have a message from another time...Expect ME Andromeda gameplay reveal and maybe that Star Wars game. Some things will be saved for Sony's conference.
So who would bag the open Press Conference space they left?
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectProbably Warner Bros. They've building up an impressive lineup as of late and have the sales potentials to stand up with the big boys.
If bethesda plan to do another keynote they could take it.....?
Or maybe it'll be split and a couple of conferences could be longer....
I don't think Bethesda has half an hour of Fallout 4 DLC to show.
In all likelihood no one will replace EA. Activision and Take-Two traditionally don't care. Bethesda probably doesn't have the content this year. WB makes sense on paper, but it would be a big step I'm not sure they're willing to do. Of the Japanese companies only Nintendo and Square have enough E3 relevant content for their own conferences, and Nintendo isn't going to give up their usual slot.
Hm, Square wouldn't be a bad choice actually if they want to do it again. They certainly don't want to go on Tuesday lest they be completely ignored in favor of NX. So yeah, if anyone steps up it'll be either Square or WB.
Square guarantees views if they promise showing a substantial amount of new footage/info of the VII remake or Kingdom Hearts III, NX reveal or no (be honest, gameplay footage from these > hardware reveal). The question is more whether or not they feel like snubbing Nintendo, which I can't see them doing.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Well, they did sort of let it slip that the next Dragon Quest would be on the NX when they revealed it, but they walked it back to 'we're considering it' so who knows?

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectSE most likely won't have their own conference this year. They did it last year because they had tons of new games to announce/show off gameplay from/localize but this year pretty much all their games are known and all of them aside from KH 3 are PS 4 console exclusive. Nintendo will get to show the handheld DQ remakes trailers for 3DS but that's about it since DQXI won't be localized for another year or so(and won't be out this year on PS 4 or 3DS in Japan even due to the team wanting more time).
If they actually have one expect cool things but if not their games will most likely go:
- Nintendo: DQVII and VIII trailer
- Microsoft: A Eidos game MS paid money to show like Hitman or Deus Ex
- Sony: FFXV(the game might actually be out but you never know), FFVIIR church trailer with release date for Game 1, FFXIV expansion/major update trailer(might be shown on their usual good streams after the conference if not), Nie R Automata release window/story trailer, Setsuna english release trailer, FFVIII/IX coming as Classics to PS 4, Star Ocean 5 trailer, Dissidia PS 4 announcement, Kingdom Hearts 2.8 release date, KH 3 new worlds trailer, World of Final Fantasy release date(might be already out by then) and some new games one of which might be FFXVI and most likely FFXIIHD
SE is the developer with the most games that can actually be shown at E3 so I wouldn't actually be surprised if they have their own conference again.

I think the handheld DQ games are supposed to come out in summer, but we don't know when specifically. That could line up.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectVII in summer(could be a good "Available right now!" moment like I expect FFVIII and IX for PS 4 to be like they did with FFVII)and VIII this Holiday/Winter IIRC.

I can't wait for EA to not announce Skate 4 again. Jesus Christ literally every post EA makes on Instragram has a comments section that solely consists of "Skate 4" or "where's Skate 4" or something along those lines.
Seriously though, I'm guessing were gonna get more news on that Criterion Game about the racing that's like Go Pro (seriously that looked pretty rad) and Titanfall 2 if EA is still acting as publisher (Respawn owns the IP so they could go with someone other than EA but all signs point to them being on board for the second one. I know for instance that Nexon is making the obligatory phone spinoff instead of EA so it's not quite their series.)

The world needs more good skateboarding games after Tony Hawk sank it's ship with a big middle finger to all it's fans. With the Tony Hawk license apparently expired, and Activision being unwilling to let anyone but 4-time crap developer Robomodo work on it even if it wasn't expired, it's kind of up to EA to carry the mantle.
But then... the Skate developers, EA Black Box, have been closed for nearly three years, and the property has been untouched for nearly six.
Still, I'm happy to see that there's still fan support. Whiny though it may be.

this place needs me hereIt just struck me that we'll get another SE hype video in a few months and get to guess what games they're bringing to E3 again.
Was it confirmed they'll be doing E3 again?
PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyNot yet. They might just skip it apart from one or two trailers with Sony and just go all digital with streams etc this year since they don't have 10+ titles to reveal.

If that's the case it seems that Nintendo was ahead of the curve with this digital stuff.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectJust a heads up: SE said during their most recent Active Time Report that they will announce the release date FFXV on March 30th.
We could see demos at E3 if the date is later than it.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."We already knew about the event. It's probably part of the reason Persona 5 got delayed again since SE actually went out and asked the public "If XV and P5 came out at the same time, which would you buy first?" which implied a release before August(IIRC).

Dishonored 2, Doom, the first DLC for F4(that they will spend 2/3 of the event on) that we know nothing about despite paying a lot of money for it and Elder Scrolls(6 or more Online).

Doing a Forum Search, you have individual E3 threads, and I'm pretty sure that's frowned on 'round these parts.
I just got my confirmation for E3 2016, and rather than starting a whole new E3 2016 thread, let's just have a general E3 thread.
I toyed with the idea of a E3 20xx thread, but what if TV Tropes is around in 2100? Do we really want another E3 thread that's E3 21xx?
So, kicking things off, I'm almost positive that whatever new console Nintendo is working on will be unveiled, and the question is if Nintendo will do a proper pre-E3 conference like MS, Sony, EA, etc, or if they'll be doing their own thing again.
