Woo hoo. My Missus is looking forward to this.
Who watches the watchmen?^^ Yes, now you can have your underpaid work- i mean friends help your farm.
I'm surprised Stardew never got a physical Switch release. People would eat that up. It's not like a Story of Seasons game is coming anytime soon.
manufacturing costs, maybe?

Coming to iOS for $7.99 on October 24th with no in app purchases.
A week ago, Concerned Ape put out a tweet saying the Switch multiplayer update is in QA.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."I wonder if there will be cross-platform play? My brother owns this game on PC and I on the Switch, so I would be happy to build a farm with him.
Four Corners farm map and separate money option for multiplayer likely coming in 1.14.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."I scoured the internet and find no definite answer, can I play Stardew Valley on a 32 bit Vista PC?
If a chicken crosses the road and nobody else is around to see it, does the road move beneath the chicken instead? If you can install Steam, then absolutely
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youGood, I'm afraid it requires 64 bit systems and I only plan to upgrade my pc when Elder Scrolls 6 come out, whenever that may be.
If a chicken crosses the road and nobody else is around to see it, does the road move beneath the chicken instead? Here are the minimum recommended system requirements from the Steam page:
Processor: 2 Ghz
Memory: 2 GB RAM
Graphics: 256 mb video memory, shader model 3.0+
Direct X: Version 10
Storage: 500 MB available space
If you are having trouble running it, just make sure and tone down the settings and look online to see if you can force 32-bit.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."I upgraded 2 years ago. I might have to again soon.
There's too many great games.
Consider getting Stardew Valley for the Switch. The portability really makes it worthwhile.

Switch FC code: SW-4420-1809-1805Something I need to know for my first 1.4 run: Did they change anything about the Joja route, yes or no? Then again, I might do it anyway for the challenge.
Finally posted DB Scarlet Mirror: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13689952930A49781400&page=97#2423The only thing that has changed for both routes is the addition of a Movie Theater, which you can get after completing either side and replaces the Joja Mart building (if you saved the Community Center) or the Joja Warehouse (if you helped Joja Mart).
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."The Joja route is actually much easier than the CC route, since money's easy to come by while the bundles take effort.
so it all depends on what you value. Convenience and expediency, or community and tradition.
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youSo I got the mobile version of the game a while ago. Any tips and tricks for newbies? Other than it's a Harvest Moon style of game and that you can marry both male and female characters I know pretty much nothing about the game.
I'm about 2 in-game weeks in. Just finished the Egg Festival.
IF you want to earn much money in your first year save up for summer and then go all-in on blueberries they are pretty much the best regular crop. If you see worms on the ground hit them with your hoe, they can contain rare items, especially in the mountaina area.
The Community Center is a bit easier in some aspects if you know how to min max your way to get the prizes. The minecarts are a prime example; as long as you can get a fire quartz somewhere, you'll have no trouble finding the required items.
Does anyone know if the current patches are coming to the PS Vita version of the game?
The first spring is not one where you'll do any kind of organized farming; you'll be travelling around foraging for items to ship and hustling for money to slam into the ground in crop form, only to pull it out and sell raw (don't screw around with artisanship in the first spring). Buy as many strawberry seeds as you can at the egg festival; otherwise it's potatoes and cauliflower. Spend some of your free time in the mine too; copper tools are a real energy saver.
Make the most of your first spring season, though, because you're going to want as much cash as possible come Summer 1.
In summer, you should ease into the full game more; strategic farming, artisanship (preserve jars) and bundles if you're doing the CC. I personally don't get into the animal business until Y2, but YMMV.

1.3 Multiplayer update launches August 1st for PC; other platforms "soon"
