Harvey was a shitty friend from beginning to end. All Take and No Give.
Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters.Oh yeah, but there is so much chemistry between him and Bruce, it's easy to get along with him.
Yes, Two Face is usually written as manifesting from the sick mindgames Harvey's dad played with him. Specifically that if his dad's coin came up tails, he wouldn't beat Harvey. It was a two headed coin.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.I prefer scarred Harvey to unscarred Harvey because the turn to pure douchebaggery simply doesn't make sense when he's unscarred.
It's been 3000 years…It didn't felt that way to me as so much a guy had a lot of things on his plate.
Although, I suppose it how you ultimately treated him in the end.
I mean, we see how Bruce acts when drugged. The interface screw really helped hammer in how a drug can effect someone, even long after it's administered. And the fact that it attaches to DNA and Bruce can only make a cure because he had his own DNA on file long ago also leads me to think the game was trying to make a point that it's not completely out of Harvey's system. So with that in mind him freaking out at Selina's apartment makes sense.
My AO3Plus Bruce has mental training and the Batman to keep focus on his goal.
Something Harvey doesn't have.
You can see him falter in his convictions through the story. Him trying to make a deal with Falcone of all people is a HUGE warning bell.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Maybe it's because I'm not done episode 5, but I don't get why Harley thought that Waller had her interests in mind? Maybe Waller was really persuasive, but Harley has a shock collar on.
My AO3I thought it was because she trying to make do what she's getting?
Harley is being arrogant and thinks she has control of the situation.
Despite being reduced to a Big Bad Wannabe and getting outplayed by Joker.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Fair enough, it just struck me as really odd that you have to convince her that Waller doesn't have her best interests at heart.
Also haha, I freed Catwoman and left Waller on good terms. And gave up being Batman.
My AO3Giving up being Batman might as well be the canon ending.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Yeah, I felt Bruce had messed up enough that he kinda needed a break as well. He blew his cover to save Catwoman, and he put all his faith in John but then John went and became a villain anyway. I got Tiffany and Iman on my side, but Iman might need a break and Tiffany could use some training before she thinks of going in the field anyway. And Batman's relationship with Gordon took some heavy hits too.
Though I know Bruce will be Batman again, and I don't buy Alfred's argument that Batman creates villains.
My AO3Ehh, The series is practically dead.
Alfred's exhausted after enabling Bruce for all these years. Sure some of his arguments suck but he still has a point about Bruce's life. I let him go, because this is a world where supervillains exist with or without Batman, like Riddler or Bane.
That and Bruce is a big boy, he can take care of himself.
As for Joker, i went Vigilant with him, but told him he wasn't my friend. Baka.
It's easy to see it as Bruce finally losing his shit after what Joker did. Which roleplayed it as. And hey you get a cool scene of Joker and Batman meeting in Arkham.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. The series might be dead, but I'm just kinda mentally projecting. Bruce can't stop being Batman for too long. But I had him take a break and not judge Waller because he either did legit shady stuff or screwed up in trying to help someone. I've basically been playing Bruce as wanting to believe people (and Gotham) can get better and not giving up on the people around him, but that backfired with John.
My AO3
I think that's because Two Face has more power in the scarred version. I assume that Harvey had an alter pre-game, since IIRC people with multiple personalities tend to develop them in response to childhood trauma. It's just that events in the game stopped him from having a handle on that.
