The devs have been struggling with fine-tuning the thing for the better part of two years now (which doesn't surprise me, with the amount of customization they're adding it must've been an absolute programming nightmare) but Dreams now due for PS 4 next year!
Give this thing some Wiki Magic Love! https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/VideoGame/Dreams
WE ARE NINTENDO. YOU CANNOT BEAT US...except if you cheat... or if you use a guide book... or if y— SHUT UP!Just a heads up, the public beta will be removed from PSN at some point today. So this is out now. Anyone else playing it?
On and off, depending on the time I've got. I'll probably get into it more with a next generation version, as the fan noise it causes on my current console really clashes with the mood of the game and the peace I like to enjoy while creating.
It's saddening to me that such a monumental game is being slept upon (pardon the pun), but Mm have said they have plans for very long-term support, so hopefully its recognition and celebration will grow with time.
Reviewing really well too, if anyone cares. 91 average on Metacritic with 22 (differently weighted) reviews in, and 93 on Opencritic with 18 (equally weighted) reviews.
Yeah, I’m hoping it gets more attention over time. It has a lot of potential, but a lot of that depends on whether or not it gets noticed outside the existing community. Seems to have picked up a decent number of people from the early release period, though.
So far I’ve played a bunch of stuff and tried some tutorials. There are a lot of tutorials, but that’s not a bad thing considering how much there is to teach. I’d like to get a better grasp on that before I do too much messing around.
I was going to write a blurb here but I'm honestly not sure what to say. Little Big Planet except instead of platforming levels you're making/playing surreal adventure games? It looks entirely unique and if they can pull off all the technical aspects it could end up being incredible.
A bit more in-depth info here, there'll be a beta out next year.
