To be fair, they're also giving Felix a redemption and he tried to kill everyone on the planet like a few episodes ago.
@iadtothebaritone I've misread your post as being about Andre because you wrote about heroes helping skuma and I've assumed you meant Miss Bustier. When they exactly help villain get revenge on Chloe?
What I was told from the leaks is that Ladybug's whatever-it-is tells her that Chloe's the real enemy rather than the Akuma they're fighting, and that leads to the heroes going to her dad. I haven't seen the released episode, nor do I plan to. If what I'm saying doesn't make a lot of sense, it's probably becuase I'm a weird Spoiler Hound for stuff I don't watch.
That kind of happens in Collusion, but only after Andre has already resigned as the Mayor and Miss Bustier has already been deakumatized. Chloe shows up with her new army of robots from Gabriel and a bunch of reporters saying that the heroes worked with a villain in order to force her father to step down and for that they should be arrested, Ladybug realises that her Lucky Charm was telling her that Chloe was the real villain all along and so she tries to immobilize her with her Yo-Yo, but the robots protect Chloe and pretty much force the heroes to run away.

Collusion spoilers.
Chloe is now the mayor of Paris.
She just declares herself mayor, and everyone just kinda lets it happen.
How?

#IceBearForPresidentReflekta's good example of a really well conceived villain who is really badly conceived for the specific thing the Big Bad of the show actually wants, and thus a good example of a place where the show could've stood to... I dunno... branch out the Rogues Gallery so that it's not just all about Hawk Moth all the time.
Honestly, the fact that Reflekta is so pointless for Hawkmoth's objectives (as well her having a bit more of a thematic connection with Juleka than most of the villains have with their civilian selves) has always made me wonder if she's a character from an earlier concept that got ported over into this one.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.@iadtothebaritone So let me get this straight: you've assumed that heroes helped the villain overthrow the mayor specifically to hurt Chloe. Not even because they thought he was corrupt and needs to be stopped but specifically to mess with Chloe. Like I know that everyone is saying that Astruc has ridiculous hatred for Chloe but if I heard something this insane I would double-check the context before complaining about it.
I think people are getting over heated about the Chole thing.
Is it just me or is there nothing left of Adrien's character outside of being Marinette's boyfriend ? He was never the most complex character (his stans would probably have me crucified for saying this), but it's really showing this season.
Apparently he's not going to learn Hawk Moth is his dad? If so then they def will drop the ball on his character.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. They seem to be setting that up for the next season, because Marinette lies to the world about Gabriel having died saving the world from Hawkmoth.
Oissu! Then Lila/Cerise will probably use this to her advantage.
I will say this, after so long, it's going to be sad saying goodbye to Gabriel for real.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.I love how they casually dropped that Lila (or should I say Cerise) has a secret lair in Collusion and no one even questioned it. At this point everyone's just mindlessly accepting every new insane thing the writers throw at the character formerly known as Lila.
Well also the fact her Lair in the Paris Catacombs was already leaked months ago so viewers expected it.
That too, but even the leakless seemed to concentrate on her wig/new look and completely overlook the lair.
That's something I actually wanted to bring up, but I just assume it was some random hole in the catacombs or sewer that Cerise found.
That def doesn't cost much upkeep plus she could totally get Chloe to foot any bill.

This show focuses so much on Ladybug that Cat Noir really shouldn't be in the title anymore. Worse, Astruc thinks anyone who wants Cat Noir/Adren to get more focus is a bigot.

I mean, every time one of Marinette's family gets akumatized it's always a great episode and villain. Largely because of the emotional connection.
That's something Adrien really needs and apparently doesn't get.
#IceBearForPresidentThe last times I enjoyed Adrien was those episodes with Dark Humor, the Owl dream one, and Safari.

#IceBearForPresidentIt's apparently related to being used by an adult, not the specific power in question. So any adult miraculous holder could stay transformed longer. This does get a bit weird with Felix in Emotion, but presumably that doesn't count because he made Red Sun previously before transforming the time we see.
could also be a case of Antagonist Abilities. Esp since the rest of the Miraculous heroes are teens at oldest.

Akumas also stay active after detransforming, so I'm not sure a teenage weirder would be at that much of a disadvantage anyway, would they?
At this point, now I have to seriously consider the possibility of Lila having magical lying powers.
She's gotten so ridiculously over the top at this point, like having an entirely new back up identity that's ALSO class rep, that it has to be a possibility.
