"Yeah, corn flakes, whatever," Ben muttered, showing about as little respect for the Chaos god as he could muster. "Anyway, hopefully that book will show you what sorta evil deeds that thing wanted you to do. You can move on from that. If you can't fight that force, at least direct it at something worthwhile, for the forces of good. Y'know?" Ben responded. "Right guys?" he asked, glancing over at where he thought Eve and Arcade were.
Instead the two of them had slipped off and started playing one of the arcade games nearby. Ben blinked in confusion.
I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither.

The little cow-like creature ended up nesting on Chise's head while the flaming cat just kept going in circles around her, thankfully, she really didn't need to get any burns today. The other girl apologized for the inconvenience, by which Chise responded by grabbing the cow from her head and just holding it in her arms like a plush toy.
"It's alright, they're not bothering me." Chise smiled. "I'm Chise Hatori, nice to meet you, Yuna."
"I have never seen this kind of fae before, but it seems even they are drawn to you. Interesting, your Sleigh Beggy attributes seem to affect even creatures from other worlds." Said Elias, sounding quite fascinated.
To put it more succinctly, as she continued to pet the alpaca, "What's wrong with you?"
Seiga's own little laud-fest for Mr. Chan was cut off not by their arrival, but upon realizing that she was also girlishly gushing over a film actor. Sure, she liked Jackie, but...it was just not her style. She cannot allow herself to have fun.
She let Hibiki flounder for a moment, hoping that her embarrassment would wipe any memory of Seiga acting excited from her brain. But, eventually, she waved her hand to stop her bodyguard's fretting. "Look, Hibiki. It usually doesn't matter, but there is no economy here. Everyone just takes what they want for free. Your money's better off saved for when you go back home." She continued on through the front door, and lead the both of them into the lobby, with all its fancy replicator-foodstands and stuff.
Moving aside so a walking, breathing mushroom could push itself past them and through the door, Seiga added "Cute purse, by the way."
"Right, right," Arcade said, "that's... I shouldn't be glad you're back here. Sorry, I didn't mea- forget... forget I said anything."
Internally, he berated himself for actually saying something so stupid. Of course she didn't want to be back. It wasn't as if she'd even chosen to come back. With a sigh, he continued playing the game, letting it take some more of his attention because of the small difficulty spike.

Seeing the two faeries start playing in their own way near Chise was a bit odd. Rex figured they were used to hanging around a redhead teenager so they felt safe near her. They didn't seem to be all that smart.
Meanwhile, Yuna apologized for her pets' behavior but Chise said it was alright. Elias naturally had to overanalyze things and come up with a hypothesis for why the faeries liked Chise. And apparently she had the attributes of a "sleigh beggy" which explained their reaction.

"Arcade, its okay," Eve said gently. "I didn't want to be here, but it's nice to see you again."

Eve looked at him. "Do you really believe that wanting to see someone again makes you selfish?" she asked, her tone genuinely curious.

"If being brought back will hurt that other person, yes," Arcade answered. There was nothing else to call it. He knew full well that being brought back wasn't good, but he still wanted it.

That One Gal
Kokichi wasn't having any of that. Using his spindly body, he dodged out of the way as the guard reached for him.
"Hey now!" Kokichi wagged a disapproving finger. "It isn't very nice to shove small children through a mysterious glowing hole in the wall. You can't get rid of me just because I'm annoying."
He sidled over to where Rick and Morty were - they seemed at least amiable towards him, despite his earlier stunt. "It's not like I need to be locked up just to stand around, right? That's what everyone else is doing."

With Two's great strength, pinning down Jackson's arm was trivial; Jackson let out a brief hiss of pain, then smiled and chuckled slightly. "You know, most women ask me to at least buy them dinner first" Jackson commented, then raised his head up, and with as much force as he could muster, smacked his own head down into the hard tile floor. Though it resulted in an impressively painful sounding thunk, his head remained intact, with only a small trickle of blood coming from it. He raised his head to try again, when Caboose caught up and grabbed his neck, preventing him from doing so. Jackson struggled for a moment and then wheezed. "So, really? I say some stuff you don't like, and then someone else shoots at me out of nowhere, but I'm the bad guy?" the suited man commented, while breathing heavily.
"That was what I was doing!" Kelsey snapped back at Ben in a defensive tone. She turned her eyes away again, and put the book down on a table next to her- well, more like almost slammed it down, really. She was shaking a lot now, and breathing heavily. "... You think, you know what I went through? You think you know what it's like?" she said, quiet at first, but starting to raise her tone.
"What does it matter if he does?! You put innocent people at risk! Nothing justifies that!" Louie said back, sticking up for Ben.
"Nobody would've been at risk if you had just let me leave!" Kelsey yelled, then suddenly Joseph was there, stepping right between the two boys and Kelsey.
"Whoa everybody, this is a place for everyone to be nice, alright? Let's just calm it down" Joseph said, holding his arms up. "Maybe you guys should just not talk to each other for now, alright?" he suggested, looking back and forth between Kelsey, and Ben and Louie.
The militia member looked far from impressed, and just looked at Kokichi with a dull expression. "Actually, you being 'annoying' right now is hindering us from doing our job properly. So yes, I can" the militia member said to Kokichi, then turned his head slightly to add, "alright Fastanook, I changed my mind. Get him."
There was three quick phaser discharges that hit Kokichi right in the side, and he was out cold faster than a cup of coffee tossed into arctic wind. After the boy hit the floor in a slump, the gremlin walked over, grabbed Kokichi by the hair, and dragged him towards the portal; Fastanook would then unceremoniously shove Kokichi through the portal if nobody stopped him.
"I told you guys where to go already. Why are you standing around?" the militia guard said from up on the wall, glancing down at the group.
If they weren't talking and were paying close enough attention, or had enhanced hearing, they might faintly hear the phaser shots coming from the lobby just down the front path.

"No one would have been at risk at all if you hadn't called Brother Marcus in the first place!" Ben insisted, before Joseph stepped in between the group.
When Joseph asked them to stand down, Ben did, but he narrowed his eyes at Kelsey warily. He then stepped away from the table where Kelsey was at, then glanced over at Louie. He sat down at one of the tables, leaning against the table and sighing.
"Whatever. Anyone wanna play a game?" he muttered, sounding a little irritated.

Louie frowned and moved away from Kelsey as well. Kelsey just stood there, casting her gaze off to one side and clenching her fists at her sides, still shaking.
"I guess? What would you want to play?" Louie said simply to Ben, glancing at the other tables with a less than impressed expression.

"Bad guy?" Caboose said incredulously. "I was just giving you food and protecting you from the floor. I didn't do that because you were bad." It was true, sometimes it was just right to help people out. And he would have surely been devastated when he realized he forgot his chili.
Oh wait, Two was saying he was guilty of a thing... well, that just meant hold onto him for a different reason then. Deciding to hide the fact he didn't get what was going on, Caboose fabricated a perfect lie. "Yes, you are welcome. And I definitely meant to catch him because he was guilty of something and not for any other reason."

"You are?" Arcade asked, genuinely surprised to hear someone actually want to see him. He was so distracted that he ended up losing the game, which barely registered. There was something much more important going on.

Now Jackson lowered his eyebrows, looking genuinely irritated. "... What? What kind of fucked up universe logic do you have where only someone guilty would run away from people shooting at them!? Are you fucking retarded?!" Jackson asked, as footsteps rapidly approached the end of the aisle. "Holy shit, I may like stealing womens' underwear, but you lady, are seriously messed up. I feel sorry for anyone else who has to rely on your judgeme-" his continued berating was cut off by a sudden phaser discharge, which hit him right in the crown of his head, knocking him out.
Phillips took a few deep breaths from the running he'd just done, his eyes a bit wide in surprise. "Dayum! We actually got him!" Phillip exclaimed, before grabbing his walkie talkie. "Phillips here, Nails and I just encountered and captured the pervert at the grocery store! We'll bring him in as soon as we can" the militia member reported on their radio channel, as Nails caught up to the scene.
"Are you alright? Did he do anything to you?" Nails asked, particularly to Two once he got there.

Ben sighed and slumped more. "I dunno. I just don't like seeing evildoers get away with their crimes. If I had the chance I could deal with the evil in this town and fix it like a real hero would. If I could lock Brother Marcus and Kelsey and the flashlight jerk and the dinosaur away for good, I'd do it. Then I'd do the same thing to the Writer," he muttered.
He glanced up to see Eve and Arcade at one of the machines, and Arcade didn't look too hot. Ben got up and glanced over at Louie, then walked over to the two.
"You guys okay?" Ben asked, not sounding terribly okay himself.

"Oh, t-that's good. Not that I wouldn't want to spend money on you, Ms. Qing!" Chuckling weakly as she put her money away, the girl perked up at the compliment towards her purse. "It is, yes! Miku helped picked it out for me!" Rubbing the thing against her cheek like it was a real cat and not a two dimensional fascimile of all things feline, the magical girl then let her eyes widen even further before she welt full pelt to get the movie-goer's essentials.
An extra large drink, giant bag of popcorn, hot dog with all the trimmings, and a packet of candy were held in her arms as she bounced up and down on her tip toes, especially since she found a fellow Jackie Chan Fan. "Maybe we can watch more of Mister Chan's works here... Since we both know of him, he MUST be a multiversal constant!"
"What the hell?" yelped Morty as soon as the metaphorical dust had settled. "I mean - okay, he was sort of being annoying but that's no reason to-"
"Wow." Rick looked down at Kokichi's unconscious body. "That was - that was a really - that was a completely reasonable show of force. I could definitely tell that one normal kid was going to take down three heavily armed officers of the law. Completely reasonable. It's probably a good thing that Captain Whatever hasn't set up one of those accountability boards, yet, right?"
Morty looked from his grandfather to the militia members, as though trying to figure out what would happen in the next few seconds given what they had just shown themselves to be capable of. "You can't just shoot people because they're being annoying..." he said, watching as they hefted the body into the glowing green aperture.
"I've *uuuurp* seen enough, Morty, let's get out of here." With that, Rick fired another portal directly beneath him and Morty, letting gravity take over as the two slid into the ether. "Enjoy getting blown up or whatever."

Hangar
After a while of moving and holding larger and heavier pieces of the ship around the hangar in Rex's absence, Anat was starting to slow down its pace. Its expression didn't change at all, and it hadn't become any clumsier with its movements, but any militia members that were paying attention could tell that it had far less energy as it walked around, like a car running on fumes. When it set down one more metal plate, it made a weak rumbling sound and faded out of existence with a blue glow.
"Sorry..." Makoto said as the mask reformed over her eyes. She hadn't meant to stop there, but keeping her Persona going was becoming an endurance test. "Just give me... a few minutes and I can start again." She was sure she could keep helping for longer than that, even if it was out of pure stubbornness. A low growl could be heard from her for a couple seconds, but she didn't respond to the noise other than sitting down somewhere to take a short break.

Eve bumped up the difficulty a little more, and looked at Arcade, no longer smiling. "I can't say that I'm glad to be back here," she said hesitantly. "But I didn't want to leave without saying goodbye. To you, and to others."
