Looking at it now, I'm not really entirely sure why Straight Gay needs to be a trope. It literally just means "a gay person who doesn't act stereotypical."
I don't see any reason why this is tropeworthy, given that it encompasses basically gay character who doesn't fit into a rather narrow range of portrayals. Stereotypes are tropeworthy in that they describe a certain noticable pattern of character design, but when you have a trope that's literally nothing but the absence of a trope, then you have to wonder what the point of even having it is.
