On that note I've always had an idea for Ivy to balance the sides of her where she may have good intentions but her actions aren't right. In that her effects on the environment and plant-life is not okay as a result of stemming from dangerous experimentation and thus the results are dangerously unnatural.
Like someone recounts how she took over a forest, they show a picture of what it was like before and it looks normal but they then show a picture of what shes done and the forest now looks like something from an entirely different planet, with the plant life changed beyond recognizability.
Plus she might have exterminated all animal life which most certainly is not good for the environment.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I'm still baffled by Justice League Action episode where Killer Frost is the nice redeemable baddie and Mr. Freeze is the nasty one that backstabs her.
I have to double check, but I remember that Jake Castorena (who directed Freezer Burn, the episode you're talking about) said how he's pretty fond of the Killer Frost character, hence why she was made more sympathetic there.

But why Mr. Freeze? Use Captain Cold. Or Icicle. Or Snowman. Or Blue Snowman. Or Cryonic Man. Or Polar Lord. Or Minister Blizzard.
JLA's Mr. Freeze was kind of just a meglomaniac, and didn't really have the sympathetic traits. He's honestly closer to The Batman's version than any other.
Or the original before BTAS really gave him character.
Wake me up at your own risk. This article from Corus Entertainment mentioned season 2 coming out in Canada in fall 2020. We're now coming up on winter here in the United States. I'm willing to bet that season 2 won't premiere here in America until at least March.
Especially since depending on the version KF is the more malevolent one.

"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"I guess they wanted to do something “different” with the characters that time.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."The scheduling for "Fresh Princess Of Ren Faire" is pretty batty. Zap2it says December 27 while my tv guide says December 26.
I find it interesting how "Superhero Feud" was written by Any Wolfram given that, in addition to Teen Titans and Teen Titans Go, she also wrote for season 5 of the 2015 DC Superhero Girls.
x4- The Killer Frost in Justice League Action is the Caitlin Snow incarnation, who was somewhat sympathetic even before her Heel–Face Turn.
Something I don't get. In "Bird and the Bee", the evil priest used an ancient Egyptian weapon from his past life that apparently was made out of Nth Metal. So, does Nth Metal isn't connected to those specific reincarnations of Hawkman and Hawkgirl? Does it follow them with each life?
Not all of the reincarnations use Nth metal, but the Nth metal is what causes them to reincarnate in the first place. Specifically, Hath-Set killing them is what caused the cycle.
Seperate of that, Hawkman uses an Nth metal belt to fly.
In other news, the ren faire episode airs next sunday, but it's not on the app for some reason.

Maybe it could be on the app on Friday. Recall how some episodes are usually put on the app just 1-2 days before television.
The finale was alright, but nothing to write home about. Much like this season overall.
So ends season 1. It'll be interesting to see what Amanda Rynda does as showrunner starting in season 2.
On a related note, I found this video from December 2019 that compares the 2015 Shea Fontana series and the 2019 Lauren Faust series.

"DC Girls Gen I reached its finale and over the years acquired tons of episodes and specials while Gen II barely aired one season so they faced fewer villains, let alone the really big ones. Because of it, Gen I is a superior show." I also don't get how animation from Gen I got a point.
And I’m reminded that the art and overall character designs got majorly improved since the first series.

Russ Carney's twitter profile says he will write for the series (presumably with his regular writing partner Ron Corcillo).
Neat. I'm hoping we get less episodes that focus solely on high school shenanigans.
I'm pretty sure it's a common thing with action cartoons that involve secret identities, where the more slice of life/episodic elements are downplayed to make more room for action and story.

During the big Warner Media meeting today, there was a sizzle reel. Some brief clips from season 2 are shown.
It's getting a video game on Nintendo Switch, DC Superhero Girls: Team Power, for June 4th.

The Protomen enhanced my life.
People agree with her environmental stances and root for her against Batman, but that doesn't mean she'd be a good hero. Web series Ivy doesn't really have the environmentalist angle, so I'm not sure what they see in her.
