Konosuba is the pleasant surprise of the season, for sure. Dissapointment belongs to Phantom World. Rakugo is decent, but I'm not really interested in the subject matter. Boku Dake is a good thriller although that chocolate-induced life-changing event baffled me.
I need to start watching Rakugo.
I'm going to pretend that that story is made up, and the real story is something much darker set to be revealed. Otherwise, that series of events would be the dumbest thing I've seen in a while.
If I knew how I know everything I know, I'd only be able to know half as much because my brain would be clogged up with where I know it fromRakugo continues to be excellent, though it would be best if people look at it as a period piece more than a primer on rakugo itself as a form of entertainment.
It's a pretty common story in politics. High-profile guy gets accused of minor misdemeanour, decides to throw his weight around, turns it into a gigantic scandal. The saga of Chris Huhne is a good example.
What's precedent ever done for us?
Konosuba is the standout of the season IMO.
Very slim pickings in the rest of the shows this season though.
