We’re getting new legends
I have a theory and keep in mind that this is just a theory nothing concrete. As we know Disney has been incorporating Legends elements into canon and the results have been well recieved (Not the biggest fan of Solo but I appreciated all the little nods). Maybe this one shot is a test run to see if people want legends to continue

To start with I’d suggest Dawn of the Jedi Into The Void, Tales of the Jedi Golden age of the Sith, Knights of The Old Republic, The Darth Bane Trilogy, The Jedi apprentice series, Republic Commando (The Game and maybe the Novels), The Han Solo Adventures, The Lando Calrissian adventures, The Force Unleashed, X Wing/Tie Fighter, Dark Forces, Splinter of the Mind’s Eye, Shadows of the Empire, The Truce at Bakura, X wing (Startting from the comics), And of course Heir to the Empire

Yeah you’re gonna need to source that. To my knowledge all we know about movies after IX is Rian has a trilogy, the Rape & Dragons Show people have a trilogy, and Schrodinger’s Obi-Wan movie in limbo.

They also don't say they're open to making new Legends content. They say they're open to making movies based on Legends content.
Which could easily, and much more logically/likely, mean they're simply thinking of upping the immigration of Legends' material into the current continuity that they've already been doing from mostly through tv shows to full on films.
Which is something fans have been expecting them to do for a while. Didn't they imply a while ago they were open to making a KOTOR film?

Last I heard from any official source was I think Pablo Hidalgo tweeting that they would be avoid setting anything in the Old Republic era as long as SWTOR is active, presumably to avoid stepping on each others toes.
But that was at least a couple years ago and I’ve not payed much attention since to anything Filoni and Zahn aren’t involved with.

I have mixed feelings on a Legends revival. I've actually been enjoying to MORE since it ended, since I like, well, stories with endings! Supernatural Encounters was such an epic "belated finale," too.

Wait, that was a new rumor? I thought the rumor was around since TLJ, since we haven't heard a peep about that trilogy since.
Anyway, good to know it's still happening. And giving him all three movies will let him write a story that isn't mostly about fixing mystery boxes his predecessor left behind.

I would like to know know at least a little abou the trilogy. Even the barest rest of detail about the setting or plot synopsis.
Though it is nice he’s still a positive guy. Controversy is really tiring, if your update to date on the recent big news in the anime business you’ll know what I’m talking about.

Its possible it might tie too much into whatever happens in Episode IX. Thus no knowledge.
Doctor of Doctorates
One thing that I noticed about Johnson in the whole debacle that is the TLJ fallout is that he has not once (for better or worse) seemed to have taken it at all personally. He made a film that he himself thinks he did a good job on and a heaping helping of Internet fan flames hasn't and won't change that.
If anything, it's probably this that has particularly pissed off some of the more rabid haters - they've got reams of criticisms and problems that he just does not give a shit about.
The Nightsisters were an organization rather than a species, which means anyone could just come across their records or scrolls or whatever, learn their ways and reignite the group. Theoretically.
