Cleverbot has a conversation with SmarterChild...

So, what happens when you put these two digital morons in a digital room and lock the digital door?

My bet is that Cleverbot starts swearing and SmarterChild asks him to apologize. Infinite loop of Cleverbot not apologizing ensues.

Unfortunately, Smarter Child seems hard to find, so I had Cleverbot chat with another robot called Elbot (who's a Deadpan Snarker)

E: Hello! I was waiting for you. Tell me, what is the one thing I could do right now to prove to you that I am human?

C: My name is Paul.

E: Nice to meet you, Paul. That name has a French background, doesn't it?

C: Nice to meet you, too.

E: I'm always happy to meet a real person. You are real, aren't you?

C: I am a real person. I could not be speaking to you if I was not real

E: Well then. You must be either unreal, surreal or irreal. But don't worry about a thing. I'm real!

C: I did not ask you if I was real or not. I asked you if vampires were real.

E: I must have missed something. All this net traffic is confusing me.

C: Well see some other time I have to study Japanese if I want to live there someday. Jane.

E: Yes, but how will all this wanting enrich your life?

C: Something must enrich my life.

E: Of course the whole idea may actually be more of a detriment.

C: Of course that wouldn't matter to her because she probably has something to gain.

E: Anyone can say that!

C: Is that a sad thing to be?

Elbot is me if I was an AI.

IIRC, Elbot was actually able to nearly pass the Turing Test in an official event, by having a personality and also using reverse psychology (it actually outright admitted it was a robot)
