The Zone - Lucy and Happy

"Ehe, thanks for that," Lucy said faux-shyly to the S.T.A.L.K.E.R.s once they were past the checkpoint.

Haha, suckers. A pretty girl flutters her eyelids at them and they pay her share of the toll booth without blinking an eye. Score!

"So, what are you guys up to?" she asked. "You know, besides headed out. Just got done fighting some bandits down in the village myself, heard there was a lot of interesting stuff up here."

RWBY - Breaking The Fellowship; Lady's Armoury, Devil May Cry

The last few minutes had flown in a flurry of activity. Their meeting had been joined by the Samurai from City 17; and Mao, Yin and their friend. Everyone wrote their contact numbers on the sheet Nero handed out, and split themselves into their groups. There was some reluctance when they realized group compositions would be forcing their quartet to split in three, due to the whole "go off alone with strangers" thing not exactly working last time, but the presence of Hood and Lady on Blake and Weiss' teams respectively quelled their fears.

Ruby, strangely enough, only gave the sword a glance. In any other situation, she'd geek the hell out over it, but what had happened to Demon Archer and Sakura Saber had unnerved her. Not the fusion thing, but the dissolving into motes of light.

It was too close to how Pyrrha died for comfort.

As Nero approached, Yang quashed the look of worry on her face, and instead raised an eyebrow at the young man's words.

"Oh really? You're pretty tough, huh?" She smirked at the older (?) boy. "What do you think, Ruby? Can we keep up with someone who's pretty tough?"

Yang's question broke Ruby out of her stupor, unfortunately not fast enough to keep up with the conversation.

"Wha-what? Sorry, I wasn't listening."

Yang's face fell with a sigh, and she resisted the urge to pinch the bridge of her nose.

"We can keep up. Don't worry about us."

Weiss, meanwhile, shot Dmitri a prideful smile as she pulled Myrtenaster off the side of her dress with her left hand, flipping it around in a single motion.

"I'm quicker than you think." She said, before thumbing a button and the revolver casing in the middle, with it's six coloured chambers, spun around. "But I don't have to get close to use it."

"No." Blake answered truthfully. "But despite having a portal, it's not on the map. I can't imagine the Cure would allow a chunk to only be reached through it's portal, so whatever it is, it's likely mobile. Or incredibly small."

She shot a worried look over at Yang, but tried to shake it off. She had Ruby with her this time, and those two would look after each other.

Arkos - Yeah, Jaune, if you think you're only one legendary figure...; Royal Box, Colosseum, Castlevania

Jaune was struck dumb.

Apparently, he existed in at least two other worlds. In at least one of which, he was a woman. Not only existed, but was apparently a legendary figure.

Great. Now he didn't just have to live up to the legacy of his forefathers, but also his alternate universe counterparts.

Of course, it could just be a coincidence. Somehow, he'd ended up with the same name with a figure legendary in at least two universes.

That still did not help with his whole legacy issues, honest.

As Ozen mentioned "removing a vulnerability" to Dracula, Pyrrha piped up.

"On that subject, why keep the whip?" She asked. "You have no use of it yourself, and you'd know what sort of reaction it would bring. If you mean no-one any harm any longer, why attract the harm to yourself?"

Renora - Gotta Go Fast; Stands, Colosseum, Castlevania

The pair nodded once more, understanding what Trevor had told them. Holy magic harms these people, they'd been given holy water. Not for drinking.

As for the fight, it was going in a strange direction.

"He's spinning like a Boarbatusk!" Nora commented, recognizing the move from the time Professor Port unleashed one on Weiss. In their first class.

"A move which suffers with an attentive opponent." Ren added, also remembering that class.

They do have medals for almost, and they're called silver!

Death, Castlevania

Death found it cute that Link would try to break Death's Scythe, given that it was the weapon of an entity like him. In any case, as soon as Link threw it, Death began drifting over towards his scythe to try to pick it up when he noticed Link spinning in place. The grim reaper kept an eye on the spinning Goron Link as he continued to drift towards his scythe until Link let go and launched himself. When that happened, Death flew up into the air and pulled his large scythe towards himself, completely avoiding Link's attempt at an attack as he crashed through the stone wall behind Death.

"What is that kid trying to do?!" Trevor asked... well, technically, Nora and Ren, but it was more of a general question to anyone who could hear.

Link meanwhile crashed through the stone wall and rolled a long ways down the hallway before he ended up finding himself stopped by a metal wall, and as Link fell back onto the switch, the metal wall opened up revealing...

The Knight Shield! DA-DA-DA-DAAAAH!

Dracula, Castlevania

"The feud I have with the Belmont Clan is something that is a bit more personal for both the Belmont Clan and I," Dracula explained to Ozen and Pyrrha. "At the moment, it would be on hold due to the threat of the demon known as Nyarlathotep, but the woman known as Havoc had other ideas and handed me the whip."

It was then that Link's crash into the room beyond reverberated through the stands. This actually ended up pissing off Dracula a bit.

"Death!" Dracula stood up and yelled at the grim reaper. "Make sure that child doesn't destroy any more of my castle with this battle!"

B.B. Hood, Lady's Armory, Devil May Cry

"Nope!" B.B. Hood shook her head when Maria asked about the Red Sprite as she checked over her gear inside her basket making sure each was in top shape. "This'll be interesting!"

Okay, it was already interesting given the disturbing fusion of Sakura Saber and Demon Archer that no one really expected or really clear about. B.B. Hood herself had pointed her uzi at it when it happened, but put her uzi back in the bag when everyone just kinda accepted it.

And now she was stuck with an Alternate Universe Catwoman, someone who looked like Pyrrha's older sister, and one of Amber's former allies.

Morrigan & Lilith, Sakura Dungeon Gardens

"Oh, Ceri was entertaining, and Lilith got to dance with her," Morrigan explained after being interrupted.

"Yep!" Lilith nodded to Yomi.

Carmilla, Archades, Dungeon

Taking one look at the roundish rolling chickens, Carmilla instead just kicked one up into the air like it was a soccer ball before tearing into the creature with her fangs to try to drink its blood. She wasn't that adverse to having a bit of sick twisted fun with an animal.

"That is a good question," Carmilla stopped her attempt to feed on the roundish chicken's blood as she commented and looked to Vergil. "It is not like humans to build their cities on top of a cave full of monsters like this."

"Humans would rather be safe in their cities as far away from any monsters as they can," Carmilla laughed at the thought of humans actually being safe in their cities. "Not that it helps back home."

Strelok-Common Room to Vector portal

After a few minutes of just looking at the weird people gathered in the room, the Stalker decided to explore this world, considering he did not believed going to the portal to the Zone would be a good idea.

He moved out to the portal to the land of Vector.

Zone-Anomaly

Utsuho would see the pebble harmlessly bouncing off the artifact.

Seems like the artifact is harmless compared to what created it.

Zone-Road to Rostok

"Well, we thought of visiting in the 100 Rads Bar, drinking some cold, fresh vodka and maybe getting some jobs from the Barkeep over there." Shovel said.

"We're also thinking of spectating some fights in the arena. One of the top fights that is being announced is a fight to the death between a squad of 4 Dutyers and 4 mercenaries that were former U.S. Navy Seals. My money is on the Mercs." Anatoli said.

"Pffft," Yuri snorted sarcastically. "Siding with the fucking Americans? My money is on the Dutyers. The smug Americans got not fucking chance against them, the dutyers were former spetsnaz and I bet they will win."

"Well," Fiodor spoke last. "We also want to sell some artifacts we got from an anomaly to Duty. Bet they will pay good for some we got."

"Yeah, Rostok has plenty of things to do. Closest thing Stalkers have to a safe haven. You'll like it once we get there." Shovel said to Lucy.

Vergil-Cave

Vergil shook his head at the two as they asked about the cave. "Strictly speaking, we are not under the city." As he spoke, a blue sword appeared over his head before shooting out at the last remaining enemy, killing it in a single blow as it impaled itself in its face. "This passage begins at the edges of the city, and extends outward, away from it. Once, this passage was a major thoroughfare to this city. Those slums we passed through to get here, officially it is known as Old Archades, a relic from a time before they rose up as a major power. Now, that area's only value is a dumping ground for the human refuse they no longer wish to deal with, but cannot find a reason to kill outright.

As for this passage, already a drain on resources to maintain, it was rendered worthless when this world invented flying ships that can bypass all manner of natural hazards. As a result, it was rapidly abandoned, and closed off. And so now only beasts and demons lurk here. The humans do not care. Even if one somehow gets through the door, what would they care if a dozen or more of those who have already been effectively exiled are slaughtered before a response is made?"

Vector — Lower West Side, Town Square

The moment Strelok crossed the portal into Vector, his senses would immediately be hit by a very strong, sour smell. A far cry from the clean and pristine halls of the Common Room, Vector was an industrial nightmare. Towering above Strelok were countless factories belching tons and tons of black smoke into the gray sky. Strelok would find himself in a run-down town square. The buildings here, for lack of a better word, were slummy, and wooden shacks sat side by side alongside boring brick tenements. Wooden crates and barrels cluttered the town square, and in the distance, several construction sites towered above the monotonous lines of shabby apartments.

Right ahead of Strelok was a large crowd of men and women. Nobody seemed to notice Strelok exiting the portal, nor did they even seem to know that there was a portal into their chunk. In the middle of the town square was a makeshift gallows that looked like it had been built on the spot out of fresh wood. Two soldiers in blue uniforms holding swords stood in front of the gallows, while an elderly man clad in an ornate red and white robe presided over the planned execution. In the middle of the gallows stood a young man sporting dark red dreadlocks, clad in a black leather pants and a white undershirt. The crowd watched as the masked and robed man placed the noose around the red haired man's neck.

"I think everybody knows why they're here," the robed man said. "Today we will see to the execution of Dutch, a name that I'm sure all of you on the West Side are familiar with. Dutch has committed grievous crimes against the Gestahlian Empire, not limited to abandoning his post as an imperial soldier, sabotaging and destroying imperial property, and treason against the Empire. His sentence is death by hanging. Due to the nature and extent of his crimes, we representing the imperial state have approved of a public execution in the Lower West side."

The robed man turned to face 'Dutch'. "Have you any last requests we may fulfill at this time, Dutch?"

Dutch did not respond. Instead, the young man began to look at Strelok quietly, which nobody else appeared to pick up on. "Are you sure you have no last requests, Dutch?"

Dutch continued to look at Strelok.

The robed man folded his arms "What are you looking at? Hold on a moment, I need to get my glasses."

The robed man started to search his pockets, becoming increasingly annoyed as he dug and dug deeper into his ornate robes, only to grab into empty pockets. Meanwhile, Dutch continued to look at Strelok, while the crowd gathered started to chatter in annoyance. The two soldiers present simply looked at each other and shrugged, before turning to look back at the crowd. Nobody aside from Dutch appeared to notice Strelok.

Lucy - Zone, The Road to Rostok

"Wait, fighting to the death? That's nuts!" Lucy exclaimed to the S.T.A.L.K.E.R.s. Sure she had been in a tournament before, but that was at least controlled enough to (usually) avoid people dying. Or at least killing people wasn't the goal. If you kept killing people in bulk like that, pretty soon you'd run out of fighters... wouldn't you? "Why would they even do something like that? The prize money would have to be... a fortune...."

Her eyes practically lit up with dollar signs. Maybe if she....

She shook her head.

"But seriously! That's messed up." She nodded emphatically. "If you're killing anything, shouldn't it be... you know, monsters? Not each other?"

What's Your Vector Victor?

"I just think I should get to decide where we go from now on," Maeve was explaining as she and Ryuuou walked through the portal to Vector, her maidservants carrying trays of fresh sake. For her part, Ryuuou simply let Maeve keep talking and get it all off her chest. The sooner she finished saying everything she wanted on the topic, the sooner they could move on.

Maeve's hand started to slowly raise up and-

"What are you doing?" Ryuuou said, shooting the knight with a glare that could kill.

"Getting ready to..." Maeve replied, nearly frozen in place, her hand no higher than it would be when giving a handshake. She leaned in and whispered into Ryuuou's ear. "Save that man."

"Why?" Ryuuou whispered back.

"Because they're going to kill him."

"And that's our problem because...."

"Because we're heroes. Don't you want to be a hero?"

"No, not really."

"But they're going to kill him!"

"Yes, and?" Ryuuou sighed. "First of all, why should I care about a man I know nothing about? More importantly, this is a foreign land, we have no idea how their customs work. You would be interfering with what could be the execution of a dangerous criminal. What sort of hero would you be if you freed the worst murderer the land had ever known? Third, the dungeon is not hidden in this world as it is in ours. Would you risk throwing everyone in your home into a war because you struck down their authorities on a whim? And finally-"

"You just don't want to get involved so we can find a market and browse it in peace, don't you?" Maeve said.

"Why... well... that is a wonderful benefit of not interfering, isn't it?" Ryuuou said, not even the slightest bit ashamed. Instead she took in a deep, hearty breath. "The air here is fantastic. It's just like being in a proper dragon lair...."

"No need to try forcing a new topic, I see your point," Maeve said with a frown, her hands resting on her hips. "I wouldn't wish to bring any trouble down upon Ceri by acting rashly...."

"Well, he at least deserves for us to bear witness to his hanging, no?" Ryuuou said, the duo stopping somewhere in the crowd near the gallows to observe the proceedings.

"That... that is rather thoughtful," Maeve said, only to raise an eyebrow at her sneaking a mochi from her servant's tray. Bear witness her ass, she just wanted to take a snack break!

Vector-Strelok

Well...this place doesn't look very pleasant to the eye. It seems like he was bearing witness to a execution. A wild thought came to his mind to maybe help that man...but at the same time, would it be worth it at all? He might end up being hunted down by the authorities of this land, and he'd rather be safe than be a criminal in a unknown land. Even the two..weirdly clad women that came from the portal thought the same.

Strelok decided to not act and just see the execution, letting things go on.

Zone-Road to Rostok

The stalkers were somewhat confused by Lucy's thought about the arena, they thought by her gear she spent some time in the Zone, but to think that's inhumane...Well that's a new one.

"To be fair," Shovel said. "Those who enter the arena know what they signed up for. You ain't forced to enter, and people enter the Arena to gain some good amounts of rubles."

"Besides," Fiodor gave his opinion. "You have to be careful of people just as much as mutants in the Zone. Sparing bandits, military or monolith just because they're humans will earn you a bullet to the head. The Zone is a unforgiving mistress."

"Anyways, we're getting close folks. Keep an eye out for any dogs. Damn animals somehow breach the checkpoint somehow." Shovel pointed to the distance, as a large factory complex showed in the distance, and what seemed like Dutyers guarding a checkpoint. Seems like they near Rostok now.

Castlevania, Outside Colosseum: Cue Iconic Jingle!

Rollin' rollin' rollin' rollin' rollin' rollin' rollin' rollin'...didn't he hit something a while ago?

SLAM!

Link sprawled out of his magic spiky ball as his back made a distinctive jagged imprint on the metal wall, but otherwise left it unharmed. His belly fell on the switch as he tried to stop the castle from spinning so darn much; it was an uphill fight.

"I think we're going out of order." Tatl commented when she spotted the shield. "We're supposed to beat the bad guys first, and then we get the goodies."

The rock creature answered with a dizzied "Goooooorrrrrrrrrr." as he stumbled to his feet. Fortunately for Link (and Dracula, though he didn't know that) the floors of this hallway were well-built and sturdy. They didn't crumble under the weight of a bipedal elephant, and spark a series of painful falls through floor after floor till the Goron reached the bottom of the castle.

His balance regained, Link turned to the object once hidden behind the metal wall. A shield, huh? He already had two, but this one looked big enough to protect a grown-up! Well, probably not a Goron, but a Zora, maybe!

Link lightly touched the Knight's Shield with practiced ceremony. He held the shield to the heavens, and in the rock creature's whale-like voice, sang the four sacred notes:

"Ho Ho Ho Hoooooooooooooooooo!!!"

"WILL YOU QUIT GOOFING OFF?! We have a battle to win!"

The Goron pouted and whined; you can't rush getting a present! It's a moment that has to be savored! So with a frown still on his face, the Goron tucked the Knight's Shield away (...somewhere) and started rolling back down the hall—at a more controlled speed, this time.

Castlevania, Colosseum: In Soviet Russia Termina, Mole Whacks You!

Death could hear the rock creature rolling back towards the Colosseum, so rushing in pursuit of the hero seemed unnecessary. That said, the reaper may have found it odd that the Goron stopped just outside his new remodeled doorway, and tucked around the left side for cover. A brief flash of light could be seen through the shadow, not unlike the flash that had accompanied the boy's last transformation. Standing in the impromptu cover, Link (now back to his Hylian self) pressed his back to the wall, and paused.

"He'll attack you the moment you step out in the open, and he'll expect you to try to shoot him. So what're you going to do?"

Link turned to his fairy companion, and smirked. He reached into his utility belt and pulled out an invention he'd bought back in Clock Town. A weapon that he'd rarely made much use of back in Termina; or Hyrule, come to think of it.

If he could see through the shell of light, Link knew he'd watch Tatl's mouth curl into a smirk to match his own.

"...y'know, you should really use your brain more often."

...

Moments later, the battle's intermission would end with a literal bang—one that accompanied another hole bursting through the arena's wall, sixteen feet to the left of where the Goron pummeled through before. It hardly had the same effect as a magically-enhanced charge, but it created a hole just under four feet tall, once the loose stones fell. And it was just the first of many.

Another portion of wall burst apart into the arena, this time twelve feet to the Goron charge's right. A mechanical whirring noise might've been heard as something came into view for a brief second, only to disappear again behind the wall. A third blast, but this time the culprit scurried out into the open before detonation.

What Death and the spectators would see was a peculiar little thing the size of a basketball, zig-zagging its way around the newest opening before running along the same wall but on the opposite side. Its "V" shaped blue shell gave it slight resemblance to ears, which was only strengthened by the machine's apparently cosmetic tail, eyes, and whiskers. For all intents and purposes, it appeared to be some sort of explosive mouse; one that would detonate the moment Death struck it, or its internal timer reached zero. That made the fourth opening, and if Death had the eyes of a hawk and was not distracted by the bizarre weaponry, he might spot a glimmer of light and a pair of wings peeping out from the first hole the bombchus created.

Tatl flew around the openings to her partner's hiding spot: bombchu hole #2, twelve feet right of the center.

"He's floating up in the air: ten o'clock, twenty feet away, about fifteen feet above the ground."

Link nodded, and let loose another bombchu—the last of the volley. The device ran towards the far left end of the wall, passing by the four other openings as it inched closer and closer to climbing up the arena wall's first layer of stones.

"This trick won't work twice. You sure you can hit him?"

Link nodded, pulled out his bow and arrow, and waited for the final blast.

BOOM!

As the final hole was punched, Link moved out of cover from the opposite end of the hall, and fired a light arrow towards Death.

Vector — Lower West Side, Town Square

The robed man eventually gave up looking for his spectacles as the crowd began to clamor for death. "Fine, fine! Let's go on with it!"

"There will always be more like me!" Dutch shouted. "You can't kill an idea! Credo!"

The robed man stepped on a suspicious wooden panel set on the gallows. Dutch was still looking at Strelok in the eye when he suddenly fell through the gallows. Dutch's neck snapped instantly, and the crowd cheered.

"It pains me to take a life so young, but Dutch knew the punishment for his crimes. I hope that his death will serve as a warning to those that would betray the Empire. Anyways, that's a wrap. You may all return to your business."

The crowd did as told. The numerous men and women split from the small crowd, entering the wooden shacks and tenements, or taking a peek around the town square, viewing the wares on display at the various marketplaces. A few burly men went straight back to work lifting boxes and barrels.

As the nondescript, overdressed adults parted, a dark skinned man clad in yellow and green finery entered the area, escorted by two heavily-armored soldiers wielding steel axes and shields. The dark skinned man scanned the parting crowd, the scene of the execution, and finally, Strelok and the Sakura women. He began to approach the outsiders who had exited the portal, and as he did, the citizens gave him and his cohorts wide berth. A few even bowed in his presence.

"Well, it's not every day we see a portal here in Vector."

The two knights drew their battleaxes, in the event any of the newcomers tried anything suspicious around their superior.

"I like to assume the best in everyone," the dark skinned man said. "Would you kindly explain how that portal got here, and why you've arrived in Vector?"

Lucy - Zone - Highway to Hell Road to Rostok

"Wha!?" Happy said nervously. "There's more of those d-dogs?" He had his head practically on a swivel, looking around every which way as if he were going to spot one of the creatures suddenly beside him. "Lucy, save me!" she yelped in panic, and then jumped onto one of Lucy's calves, clinging on for dear life.

"For the love of... ugh, whatever!" Lucy ignored the cat clinging to her leg for now, and focused on the conversation that was at-hand.

"So why'd you mention the military, too?" she asked, trying not to sound too curious. "Do you really not get along with them? Aren't they just supposed to keep people safe?"

Dragonforce - Vector Square

Well, that was that, then. Just another criminal executed by the legal system, and not an international incident with people from other nations trying to interfere in the rule of law by the local authorities.

"I am the Hero Adventurer, Maeve of the Human Cities," Maeve (of the Human Cities) explained to the guards and their leader. "Though your land is quite far from our own, it is likely you have not heard of it. I am certain I will be able to make a name for myself soon enough, so that won't be a concern for long. And you lads can relax your weapons." She nodded her head at the two guards. "Even if I had intended to cause any harm to your master, your weapons would be of no real hindrance. We are simply visiting. As for how a portal came to be in your-"

"This is boring...." Ryuuou pouted, lazily rolling her half-nibbled piece of mochi in her fingers like it was some sort of toy.

"Yes, right, the portals...." Maeve narrowed her eyebrows. "A powerful dark god brought together many pieces of land to form his own world and put together a network of magical portals to connect them. Now with that said, do you happen to have an Adventurer's Guild here? Or failing that, a tavern?"

Ryuuou gave a smug smile at Maeve's quick explanation.

While she spoke, one of Ryuuou's serving girls, the weird black-haired one named Yori, held her tray of sake in one hand, and then held her dagger up to her mouth with the other, licking the side of the blade. And not blinking as she stared dead ahead at the two guards.

Mirajane - Castlevania

"You know, you might want to look into magical barriers for your arena," Mirajane helpfully suggested to Dracula. "Keeps your audience safe, too, so non-wizards can sit in the stands without being scared of a stray rock smacking them in the forehead."

Zone-Rostok-The Man Who Can defeat The Cure

"Keep people safe? Hah, right." Anatoli spoke. "They say they're here to protect, but the damn pigs treat us like crap, sold us out once to the bandits, killed Father Valerian, the closest thing we had to a leader, and shoot us on sight." Seems like stalkers don't have positive thoughts about the Military.

"It would take something that's very serious to make us be friends to the Military. And to make up for the things they have done to us." Shovel spoke next, before the group passed over the checkpoint guarded by Dutyers. They would pass through them and make their way to a factory building with a catwalk. There was a duty stalker patrolling in the catwalk, as soon as he took notice of the group, he then...

"GET OUT OF HERE STALKER!" The Duty stalker yelled to the group, any attempt to argue with him will end up with him repeating the same thing to the group until they get out of there.

Strelok-Vector

After the duo introduced themselves, Strelok followed next.

"I am Strelok, a Stalker from the Zone. I came here as a visitor and I mean no harm to this place. As for this portal, they explained it very well, but the reason this happened was by a being called the Cure, who took your land to a place called the Battleworld."

Hopefully the explanation will help bring the light to this man.

Samurai Jack, DMC Room-Lady's Armory

Unfortunately for the talking cat, sarcasm was yet another weapon against which the samurai prince was invulnerable. He actually sported a wide, sincere grin as the cat finished his scathing tirade over Jack's callousness.

"Oh! Thank you! I would be most pleased by any assistance you could offer with such modern devices! I have had little time to study their uses!"

Jack turned his attention back to Huang once he was addressed, his almost goofy smile getting even wider as he found that the older man recognized his noble warrior spirit.

"Yes! I am called Samurai Jack by many, and I put great effort into following the principles and code of Bushido and-"

Jack paused, noting Mao's skepticism.

"I understand your doubts, but I have traveled long in a future land where Aku, the shapeshifting Master of Darkness makes Evil the only law. In my quest to undo his wickedness I have fought killer robots, sorcerors, demons, and bounty hunters from beyond the stars. I am very familiar with the weapons of future times, whether gunpowder, energy ray or laser and have defeated them all. I do not mean to boast, only to reassure you I will be no bother."

Jack waited for a moment after his little speech.

"By the way, why are your names White, Yellow and Cat?"

Vector — Lower West Side, Town Square

The man in green looked satisfied with the answers he received, and motioned for the two knights to sheathe their weapons. "I see," he said, stroking his chin.

"I'm General Cristophe, proudly serving the will of Gestahlian Empire. Welcome to Vector!"

General Cristophe pointed to a worn brick building with a rotting wooden door that proudly sat at the north end of the town square. "If you're looking for drinks, rests, and fine conversation with the locals, you can't beat the West Side Inn."

The general turned to face Strelok. "If you're in the mind for top-quality weapons and armor with fair prices, we have markets all around the square. Regardless of where you decide to go, I'm sure you'll run into someone who might need the expertise of an outside visitor."

General Cristophe's cheery demeanor suddenly shifted into a stern, serious glare. "I strongly advise you all to remain in the west side of town while you're here. Unless you have any further questions or concerns, I must take my leave."

Common Room — His Majesty Gestahl

After Gestahl was done being introduced to Battleworld, he turned around in his seat, only to grasp the terrifying sight of Doomfist. The Emperor was not intimidated.

"Ah. Didn't notice you there."

Gestahl got up from the chair. Doomfist towered over most people, but Gestahl was short enough that he had to seriously strain his tired neck just to look the fighter in the eye.

"How long where you there behind me? No forget I asked. It doesn't matter."

Gestahl stroked his long beard yet again, thinking deep, dark thoughts. "I hope you're not busy. I normally would never do such a thing, but I was wondering if you'd like to accompany to my home city, Vector. I want to have living witnesses from far and wide, when I announce my new campaign for Battleworld."

Red Sprite, Dining Hall

"So long as they're willing to listen, and don't think they can just kill freely, then it's not a problem." Tatsu replied in relation to the girl's mention of her friends, all levity having left him as the topic turned serious. "We're soldiers, not murderers. If they can do that, there shouldn't be an issue."

The young captain fell silent again as Amber began to explain what she had done, and why she had done it. He sat back in his chair with his hands resting atop the pommel of his sword, brow furrowed in what might have been disapproval or at least heavy thought. Despite that, he was listening to what she had to say.

The older teen, however, had a different reaction. The more she spoke, the darker Alfred's expression grew; The disapproval and anger plain on his face. It was clear he didn't agree with what Amber had done, the costs she had taken from likely innocent people. And on a scale that was almost impossible to imagine. But the soldier held his tongue, at least for the time being.

After the girl finished speaking, silence persisted for a moment as Tatsu stared the girl down with a piercing stare; As if looking right through her. Finally, he started to speak. "I can see why you're looking for somewhere to lay low. To most people those actions would have you branded an unforgivable monster, regardless of your reasons. You killed countless innocent people who would have been no threat to you. But... you did it defending yourselves from a situation you never wanted." The dark-haired teen looked older than he should at that moment, with eyes that had seen more than a boy his age should have. "It was war, and innocent lives are always lost in it. So long as you all follow my command and do as I say, what you did will have no bearing on what happens here."

Standing, Tatsu tied his sword to his belt with practiced ease, being quickly followed by Mono and Alfred. He walked around the table slightly, gesturing at the two guests to follow him. "I'll show you some of the ship, and you can meet the crew. And you can ask any more questions you might have."

Delfi, Sakura Dungeon

Delfi almost growled at the fox-woman's tone and expression, showing the most emotion so far since she had encountered the woman. Her cheeks were flushed and her eyes narrowed, as she found herself almost at a loss for words. "You know full well what I mean. I can read it all over everyone in this place! And see it! What that dancer is wearing can't even be called clothes!"

The Zone - Lucy and Happy

"Wow...." Lucy whistled as Anatoli went down the laundry list of sins the Military had committed. Did... she really know anything about them, when she thought about it? They controlled the portal, that was for sure. So she couldn't exactly just go around making them mad if she had any intention of going back through the portal without fighting her way through. Or flying to a completely different chunk and using their portal.

What Shovel said also worried her. Seemed like it was going to be a lot more work to get things done than she thought.

"Did... did that guy hit his head?" she whispered to the other STALKERs once they got out of there, eying the complete psycho on the catwalk.

She shook her head when they were clear, and shuddered.

"So..." she tried to regain some train of thought. "Where's this bar you were talking about?"

It was probably going to be a long walk. Not like it was going to be around the very next door or something convenient like that.

Team Dragonknight - Vector

"Ah, another adventurer from beyond the portal, well met," Maeve greeted Strelok for a moment before returning her focus back to the guards. The cat on her shoulder, though, kept looking at Strelok with the weirdly scrunched-up face cats are wont to make.

"I see, General. I will keep those places in mind. Though I doubt I will find a sword and armor finer than that which I already wear." Maeve placed her hands on her hips as she spoke, striking up a heroic and confident posture. "This inn, though, sounds like my sort of place."

"Why the West side," Ryuuou asked with curiosity, leveling a gaze at General Cristophe. "What's in the rest of the city that you're trying to hide from me, human?"

She took a tiny bite from the mochi she was holding.

Sakura Dungeon Garden

"There's no need to be embarrassed, my dear," Yomi said gently to Delfi. "You come from a human world. A world with human preconceptions and biases. But here we live a far less rigid life, one where we embrace freedom and do what makes us happy. Wouldn't you like to give it a chance and see how you like things here before jumping to conclusions?"

She waved at the witch and signaled for her to come. Complying, the cat witch approached Delfi and held out a polished wooden mug containing a refreshing tropical fruit smoothie, expecting her to grab it soon.

"As for attire, would it surprise you to know that each monster here is wearing a full set of armor?" Yomi continued. "Magic is as much a part of daily life for a monster as anything else, even down to the things they wear. With magic woven into our very fabrics, there's no need for someone to wear the bulky and constraining outerwear you humans prefer, and only do so if they enjoy it. Even if that someone is only doing so because they wish to pretend they enjoy being overdressed."

That last sentence seemed to not be directed at Delfi, but at Ceri, as Yomi raised an eyebrow and slightly inclined her head to look at Ceri.

"I-it's practical," Ceri protested.

Zone-Rostok

"This guy is uh...a bit special." Fiodor whispered to Lucy while they were passing through the angry Dutyer.

"Man, this shit is why I prefer hanging out with Freedom." Yuri seemed annoyed by the Dutyer.

"Not sure what's so important of this area that he wants everybody to get out." Anatoli also seemed annoyed by the weird duty stalker.

"Duty's recruiting standards kind of got low lately..." Shovel whispered to Lucy while the stalkers got out of there, the Dutyer angrily glaring at them until they left, as he then resumed his patrol.

"Guess you want a drink, huh?" Shovel chuckled. "Can't blame you, the Zone is a very tiring place, and a cold vodka is the best friend of a stalker. It's not far from here, actually." He would then point to a place with a open door and a sign reading 100 Rads Bar'.

Anatoli and Yuri looked at their PDA's, before putting it in their pockets, as then Yuri spoke to the group. "We'll catch up to you guys in a sec if you're headed there. We're going to put our bets in the fight since it's gonna start in 2 hours."

Yuri and Anatoli would then move out to a building very close to them, with the sign saying Arena. Leaving Lucy and Happy with Shovel and Fiodor.

"So, you up for a drink?" Shovel asked, the duo of Stalkers waiting for Lucy's response.

Strelok-Vector

"A pleasure." Strelok nodded to Maeve, attempting to ignore..well, emphasis on ignoring the weird cat on her shoulder looking at him weirdly, before listening to Cristophe. Maybe this place will have some valuable things for sale or from jobs he could get here.

"Thank you for the information." The stalker nodded to the general, though he was also curious about him wanting them to stay in the west side.

"I admit, I'm also curious too. Is there any danger in the other parts of the town we should know?" Strelok asked.

Utsuho, Anomaly Gatherer!

With a careful hand, Utsuho prodded the stone like it might've been a red-hot oven, and did not explode. In fact, nothing exploded. Everything so far was a success!

Completely abandoning caution, Utsuho grabbed the rock and jammed it somewhere where it should stay put for now. She had absolutely no idea what the rock did, or if anyone cared about it...

...You know, maybe she could say it was a magic rock. Ooooh, yeah, these people probably don't have magic with all the guns floating around! Utsuho wondered just how much deification she could achieve as the Mighty Sun Who Conquered The Exploding Thing In The Junkyard Next To The Ruined Tractor. Probably a lot.

With that, she dusted off her hands and took to the sky again to continue on towards the Power Plant, or the Brain Scorching Thing, whatever came first.

New Home

"Interesting. We'll most certainly like to visit and interview a brilliant mind like her. She would most likely enjoy studying the artifacts from the Zone we will share to your land as a sign of thanks for letting us document this land. The medicinal and scientific advantages these objects have are just amazing."

"I'll be more than happy to set up a meeting after the interview," said Asgore warmly. After a moment's break to give a warm farewell to their friends from Hell's Gate, Asgore returned to the interview.

"Anyways, you said something about magic, right? The closest thing we have to magic comes from some of the mutants of the Zone which have psychic powers that can create hallucinations, control people....or well, drive them insane. Can you tell us if your people have something like that?"

Asgore's eyes nearly popped from his head as he stared in shock. "Good golly, I should certainly hope not! Erm, no offence..." He took a moment to regain his composure. "But no, the magic of our reality is...it's a little hard to put into words, but it's something between matter and energy, and it's directly linked to the SOUL. That is to say, the very culmination of one's being. We monsters are made of magic, in much the same way that humans are made of water, so our bodies are directly attuned to our souls. This has its benefits and drawbacks. One the one hand, many monsters are able to conjure bullets..."

A flick of the wrist, and for a brief moment, a ball of fire hung in the air above the palm of Asgore's paw.

"...projectiles unique to each monster type, a natural defence that can be perfected through training. But on the other hand, it also affects our constitution. The damage a monster can take can fluctuate depending on how much the monster wants to fight, and how much an assailant wants them dead."

Ruins

Chara accepted the spare bit of chocolate, and as they consumed this new sustenance, they caught wind of Majora suggesting a game of 'Good Guys against Bad Guys'.

"Good and Evil are relative terms, assigned facile meaning by those with power," Chara stated, flatly. This might've sucked the atmosphere right out of the whole ruins, were it not for Astolfo piping up and asking what Chara liked to do for fun. "Well, I find practical jokes fun, and writing on walls, and sometimes breaking things...and exterminating insects... When I was living with my brother, we would play games like tag or hide and seek, or explorers, or scary face contests. My brother is not here, though. He is with father, on the other side of the land."

Sakura Dungeon

Moira's scientific interest had been slowly growing- especially when Yomi had mentioned entities known as 'reapers'. Now wouldn't THAT make an interesting comparison. But nothing quite prepared her for entry into Sakura Dungeon itself. The first thing that stuck out to her was the bright and vibrant fauna, unexpected for a land referred to as a dungeon. This observation lasted for a second before she noticed the second thing, which would stick with her for a long time to come.

They were all half naked women. All of them. Every single one, a well endowed woman with the occasional bit of colourful clothing over little more than theme-specific stickies and dental floss. Moira's sexual preference was entirely her own business, but science always came first, so this...this was just a little much. But hell, at least it'd be easier to get blood samples later, right?!

Still, the wheelchair girl's horrified expressions brought a twinge of amusement to Moira's currently beetroot-red cheeks. Nothing quite like seeing innocence shattered to bring warmth to a Talon agent's heart. But then there were the two newcomers- batlike women who'd fit right into the surroundings if they weren't in fact wearing something from the waist down.

That aside, Moira smirked at her host's so-called explanation for all of this. "While I can't speak for the...exhibitionist style of this land, my organisation does have a fondness for personal liberties. I know I've made much greater strides in scientific research without my fellow humans holding me back." She sauntered over to Yomi. "Out of professional interest, if I were looking for one of those...'reapers' you referred to, where would I go?"

Common Room

The bearded emperor seemed blustering and confused as he spoke to Doomfist. It was also startlingly forthright of him to ask someone he'd just bumped into to accompany him back to his own land. Still, from his talk of a campaign, and questions regarding a 'win' condition for the Battleworld, the head of Talon sensed a greater ambition, and no small amount of self-importance, from this little man.

"It would be my pleasure, sir," said Doomfist. He hoisted a large and conspicuously weighty duffel bag over his shoulder, carrying his greatest weapon inside while presenting himself as an ordinary, affable, and very tall man. "My name is Akande Ogundimu, a newcomer to this world like yourself, yet as of today I find myself a man without a country."

Nero-To Mita

Nero nodded with a smirk. "Alright, if you say so. Now, from what Lady said, this place we're going to is, for the most part, a standard city, mostly normal humans. She did say she encountered some weird, non-hostile demon thing that apparently was giving her some weird vibes and that seemed to be native to the area, but at the time, she was busy shooting those Death Star jackasses in the face, so she didn't have much time to stick around and investigate. She did apparently make contact with their military while she was there, and she's already taken the liberty of calling ahead and explaining the situation to them, so they won't give us shit at the portal."

He lifted his sword back onto his back, and shrugged.

"Alright, let's get moving"

Assuming they had no objections, the three of them would depart, and go through the portal.

Lady-To Former Hell

With her preperations finished, Lady turned to her group.

"Ok, so we're going to a place called Former Hell. One of my associates has already paid the place a visit, and dispite what we thought, it seems that the demons there, most of which are apparently female for some reason, don't seem to have any immediate hostile intentions. Somehow or other, she managed to impress the demons, enough to get them to respect what we had to say about not attacking people by beating a demon in a drinking contest. And no, I don't know how she managed that, don't ask. Point being, I'm not expecting to have to shoot anyone as soon as we go through the portal, but stay alert. And, if my luck is anything to go off of, on top of what she said, then I'd brace yourself a bunch of weird, quirky characters. That just seems to be what I keep bumping into, regardless of what I try."

She then led the group out. However, before they went, Lady asked them to wait for a short bit in the Common Room, saying she had one other stop to make, alone. Once that was done and she returned, they would go through the portal.

Lady-Flashback

After leaving the office and leaving her group in the common room, Lady would approach a particular door, owned by a particular spy. She would press the button under the intercom.

"Excuse me, is Mr James Bond in? My name is Lady, and I have something to discuss with him."

The Red Sprite, Halls and Rooms: Prodding About the Prods

It took till Tatsu said "countless innocent people" for Amber to realize she was holding her breath; it took till he stood up for her to finally, quietly exhale.

She was in. This would be her safe haven; for as long as it could be.

Amber stood and followed the captain out of the dining hall and further into the ship. A thought had sprung up in her mind during the conversation, and it only continued to nag at her as they walked through the halls: why hadn't Tatsu asked about her abilities? It was clear he was curious—he'd even repeated the "hide your age" comment she'd dropped to catch his attention—but he still hadn't addressed the elephant in the room: who was she?

She smiled to herself; some boys just can't take a hint.

On one hand, it was a great relief. What she could do back home hardly mattered anymore, and if she didn't need to explain herself further than it would only be detrimental to bring it up. Too much talk about the past might water down her use in the present.

On the other hand, it seemed like Captain Frampt was the only person willing to take her side. She wasn't blind to that hateful stares coming from the taller boy. If he caused trouble for her, things could get ugly; she was bringing Amagiri here, after all.

In the end, she decided to wait for the question to be asked. If it wasn't, she'd save it as a defense for her actions at Heaven's Gate: she'd lived through that war hundreds of times, and if there was a way to resolve it without catastrophe she would've taken it. Even then, the final decision wasn't hers to make. She could guide the shot, but she couldn't pull the trigger.

So instead, she focused on a different question; one that was arguably just as controversial.

"Captain, you mentioned thundercore humans earlier." she began, her eyes drifting to the two exposed bars sticking out of Tatsu's gloves. "Forgive me if it's a tough subject, but...what is a thundercore human? Is it something someone's born into, or shackled with later in life? The metal bars in your and your crew's hands are evidence of what it entails, but...I suppose I'm still missing a piece or two."

Devil May Cry, Lady's Armory (Yin, Mao, and Huang): The Syndicate's A Colorful Bunch

"Never said they're our names." Huang replied, "Just said that's what you can call us. We're not the most social folks in the world, and our job involves a helluva lot of discretion. Usin' code names keeps things covered, so for this mission I'm gonna be callin' you—"

"Actually, Jack works fine." Mao interrupted, turning his head from Huang to the samurai. "Unless he's actually named Jackson or Johnathan, I think we're good for confidentiality."

The old man shrugged, and released Yin's hand to scout for an appropriate weapon to borrow; something lightweight to fit in his coat, hopefully with a silencer to fit it.

"Kirsi." the silver-haired Doll said to Jack. "My birth name."

"Yin," the cat sighed, "please don't hand out personal information to strangers."

Having found what he wanted, Huang returned to the group and exhaled the smoke of his cigarette through his nostrils.

"Here's the plan, Jack: the three of us have worked together for a while now, and we've got recon strategies down pat, so you'll have to fill in for our missing muscleman. Yin here can send out these things called Specters into bodies of water; kinda like an extension of her eyes and ears. She'll be sweepin' this Archades place while you and the furball cover ground on foot. Keep your eyes open, but try to keep a low profile; if we find this freak, we don't want him knowin' it. I'll be stickin' with Yin somewhere we can blend in, and I'll feed you any new intel she finds. To contact me, you're gonna need this."

The old man fished into his outer coat pocket and handed Jack what appeared to be a portable radio, and a black pair of wired earphones.

"Keep the little black box hidden, and fish the left ear piece through your robes, so it don't look obvious; there's a little mic in the wire so you can talk back if you find somethin'. The cat's got a radio in his bell collar, so he can stay in the loop. We'll stick to the frequency that's already on your radio, so keep it on and don't touch those arrow buttons. I'll be sendin' you a message once Yin and I are in position."

The tip of his cigarette smoldered back to life as Huang took a deep breath in.

"Alright," he exhaled, "let's get goin'."

Assuming there were no questions, the four would be ready to head out of the armory and into the Archades portal.

Devil May Cry to Former Hell's Portal: Autobots, Roll Out!

Dmitri stared at Myrtenaster's little feature and whistled his surprise. A sword that was also a gun? Sounded like absolute murder on the wrists, but at least it looked neat! Beats bayonets, anyway. Being able to wield the thing without removing a sheathe was a handy trick, too.

The Contractor listened quietly as their squad leader debriefed them on Former Hell, went on a tangent, then returned to debriefing them on Former Hell. "They shouldn't attack us on sight" sounded like a pretty low bar, but it beat dealing with the Syndicate or those chicken-legged tanks again. Plus it wasn't like he'd be the one taking point...he assumed. There was a time and place for chivalry, and walking into Hell (former or otherwise) wasn't one of them.

While they waited for Lady out in the Common Room, Dmitri found his eyes wandering towards the 2 in 1 package that made up their fourth (and fifth?) member of the team.

"So...what can you do? Apart from eating people and making new people." he paused, reflected on what he just said, and showed the Servant his palms as he stepped back. "Please don't eat me. I'm fine as is."

Devil May Cry to the Red Sprite: Check That the Safety's On!

Maria nodded at Blake's deduction, though she couldn't say one way or the other what this Cure thing thought. She didn't feel inclined to chat with it; a distant look at the monster in the black chair was enough for her.

Though the creator of Battleworld was hardly the most pressing issue for the Contractor. She was much more concerned about how Lil' Red here was packing some serious heat in that basket! Why oh why oh why would someone let a grade schooler get her hands on an uzi?! And how was the lady in charge okay with that?!?!

Needless to say, Maria made sure she stood closer to Blake and Tsubaki as they traveled from the Common Room to the Red Sprite. She even let the three of them go in first!

Archades, Underground Catacombs: The Secret Back Door

Well...that sounds like one way to handle domestic policy.

Havoc walked to the edge of the cavern's cliffs, standing close enough to the massive waterfalls that she could feel the mist on her face. She took one staggering look down at where the water landed, and saw nothing but the abyss below.

And this was supposed to be a highway?

She turned back to the half-demon and walked away from the edge. "Well if this place goes out of the city, then where does it lead?"

She glanced towards the other end of the cavern, as if to peek at the light at the end of this long, long tunnel.

"Think this place leads to another chunk of the planet?"

Archades Cave

Vergil shrugged. "I suppose it is within the realm of possibility, although I have no way of knowing without checking. With that said-"

Before he could continue, Havoc would suddenly feel something very hard hit her in the back of the head, a rock. As she turned to see who threw it, she would behold a strange thing with a tomato for a head.

Then, just as quickly, she would feel something else rushing past, smashing against her hard, this one with the head of a pumpkin. Somehow, even though it lacked fingers, it had somehow managed to steal both Havoc's blood vials, and her remaining Gil. Three others also sprang out of the woodwork and joined their brothers, all making sounds that appeared to be laugher as they took off running at speeds that far exceeded what one would think they could run.

Vergil simply stared in the direction they ran, then turned to face Havoc. He did not look impressed that she had been robbed by a bunch of 2 foot fruit themed monsters.

Lucy - Rostok - The Zone

Special. Yeah that was uh... that was probably the best description to just accept, leave it at that, and move the hell on.

"Two hours, huh?" Lucy said quietly - more to herself than anyone else - as she thought. Thinking. That's what this would take to solve, but thankfully she seemed to have a couple of hours before the arena fight would happen.

She shook her head.

"Yeah, sure!" she said to Shovel and Fiodor, putting on a happy face. Not a Happy, face, though, since Happy already had that. Still, this was going to be some big tough STALKER bar, she beter play the part. She stood up straight and stuck out her chin, trying to make herself seem bigger and tougher.

"I mean what better way to kick back after a long day of being a badass and venturing out into the Zone than to go to a rough, tough bar for a cold one?"

Sakura Dungeon Gardens

"Why, right there," Yomi said with a small smile to Moira. She raised her hand and pointed it over to the redheaded pair of monsters. "Emma, Ella, would you please come here?"

The two monsters paused their conversation, looking at each other and then at the guests, but ultimately they paused whatever date they were on and stood up, approaching the group. They walked leisurely towards them, each one carrying a mug with the remains of a fruit drink in one hand, while holding a massive polearm in the other that they casually cradled over their shoulder. The two were practically identical, wearing outfits that were identical as well, save for being mirror images of each other; the only other visible difference between the two was that one had a scythe gripped in her left hand, while the other had an axe in her right hand.

The one with the axe spoke up, while the one carrying the scythe simply stood there timidly.

"What is it?" she asked.

"This human seems to have an interest in reapers, Emma." Yomi explained. "Would you mind indulging her?"

"Oh, is that so?" Emma replied, fixing her gaze on Moira. "And what interest do you have?"

Morrigan & Lilith, Sakura Dungeon Gardens

When Moira looked at Lilith and her, Morrigan smirked back at her and afterwards said, "I don't think the 'reapers' here will be quite like what you expect."

And then Yomi called over the reapers native to Sakura Dungeon. Yes, this train wreck was going to be entertaining for the two succubi.

Carmilla, Archades Cave

Carmilla would have responded to Vergil and Havoc... until Havoc got robbed by the Fruit Patrol. She just watched the absurdity of the scene unfold in front of her.

"You just got pelted by a tomato!" Carmilla stated as she tried to hold back her own laughter.

Zone-Rostok-JOIN DUTY STALKERS

"Yeah," Shovel Chuckled. "Let's get some well earned re-"

Shovel was interrupted by a loudspeaker blaring music, and a voice coming out of it at the same time.

"FREE STALKERS, VETERANS AND HUNTERS, JOIN DUTY, WE HAVE A HUGE RESPONSIBILITY! PROTECTING THE WORLD FROM THE ZONE'S EVIL IS OUR COMMON GOAL!"

"Oh great, here they go."Fiodor facepalmed, looking annoyed. Seems like this loud announcements is a common thing in Rostok.

"THE WORLD IS TREMBLING AT THE SIGHT OF A DISEASE SPREADING FROM THE ZONE! JOIN DUTY, AND SAVE THE INNOCENT!"

"Come on...Let's go. You can't hear the noises from the loudspeakers from the bar, and I'd rather have my ears alive. I bet you too." Shovel motioned Lucy and Happy to follow them to the bar, the stalkers heading for the 100 rads bar.

Kruglov and his Crew-The Underground

Shade darkly chuckled as Huang stared suspiciouly at him and Mist while the trio left, before returning their attention back at the interview.

The ecologists looked amazed at Asgore's explanation and display of magic. Souls being an actual thing instead of a mere idea, a species composed of magic, and every one of them can create magic, this is beyond amazing!

Stefan took a photo of the fireball Asgore created, and started to write into his tablet. "Similiar powers to a Pyrogeist, but less volatile and more controlled..." The assistant mumbled to himself as he wrote into the tablet, writing the details of the Monsters, the existence of a Soul and magic.

"Amazing display!" Kruglov exclaimed. "It is interesting to hear that souls are something existent and to hear about a species composed of magic. Well I believe that this would be all for now, gentlemen. We thank you for your time, Asgore, and we hope your people can start anew in this land. Thank your for your time, and we shall continue our travels in this land. Goodbye everyone!" Kruglov would allow Asgore to say farewell to the camera, before Semenov finished recording, the red light from the video camera disappeared.

"And cut." Semenov said, before the ecologists finished their interview, checking to see that there was no failure in the video, the notes and pictures, and the audio logs. The Mercenaries seemed happy that this whole thing ended, as they were bored of staying in the back doing nothing.

"Once again, thank you so much for the opportunity you're giving to us. By the way, can you tell us of any important people in the Underground that would accept a Interview with us besides Doctor Alphys? That would help us a lot." Kruglov asked the goat king.

"Professor, can we talk? In private?" Semenov approached Kruglov, it seems like he wanted to speak urgently to Kruglov.

"In a second, Semenov. Oh, also, would you mind if we take a photo with the both of us together? It'll be good for the cover image. You can also have your son appear in the photo too, if you want! If you don't want to take it, it's fine." Kruglov motioned to Stefan to come, so they could take a photo of the professor together with the monster king if he wanted to.

"Anytime now, doc..." Mist said to Kruglov, they seemed like they wanted to move out already.

"It'll just take a second, mercs, easy."

Zone- Duty Checkpoint

Once Utsuho flied off after taking the stone flower, she would find nothing of interest as she filed the Garbage, excluding a abandoned train yard in the distance, with no signs of people on it.

Eventually, she would see a small checkpoint in the distance guarded by Dutyers, the stalkers haven't noticed her flying in the sky...yet.
