Day 5

Felicia & Talbain, Common Room

It was Felicia who woke up first finding herself, not in a cushy bed but sleeping on the floor in the Common Room. Beside her was the still-sleeping Jon Talbain who seemed comfortable sleeping on the floor. Thankfully for anyone else in the Common Room, it seems Felicia was in the nun outfit she was still wearing rather than how she usually sleeps, although her head was uncovered, showing off her distinct fur pattern as well as the cat ears she had instead of human ears.

"Wha?" Felicia got up and turned to look around. "Why am I back here?"

It was then that Felicia listened to the nearby members of the Evening Primrose. When Amagiri bellowed throughout the Common Room, the still-sleeping Talbain threw a pillow in his general direction, though naturally the pillow completely missed hitting anyone in the Common Room.

"People are still trying to sleep..." Talbain mumbled and rolled on his side.

Meanwhile, Felicia looked increasingly saddened by what she heard about Ikebukuro disappearing.

"JON!!!"

That woke Jon Talbain up and as he scrambled to his feet, Felicia looked like she was about to cry, "Ikebukuro's gone! The Cure ate it! What if he eats us?!"

"W-W-What," Talbain looked completely dumbfounded at Felicia, before shaking his head at her. "The Cure... hopefully, sent them back home."

Talbain was completely unsure about this statement, but it did calm the panicked Felicia down.

"Right, yes," Felicia regained her composure and looked over to Amber's group of Contractors.

"I'm Felicia, and this is Jon Talbain," Felicia nervously smiled as she offered her large catlike paw to shake hands. "We were in Ikebukuro when it... you know..."

Strelok- Common Room- Women exist?!

Strelok turned to the source of the voice to see..

....

Women.

Yes.

Women.

And one seemed like a fox lady to boot. Was she a mutant? Though considering she wasn't attacking him, it didn't seemed so.

He didn't remembered how long he was without seeing a woman, though considering that surely he must had spent a long time in the Zone, it must had been a long and long time.

The stalker stared at Yomi and Ceri for a moment, before shaking it off and responding.

"Sorry. It's just that it has been a long time since I saw a woman. Anyways, my name is Strelok. I am a Stalker from the Zone. From the Loner faction to be exact."

He turned to give a quick glance to the map, and yes, this Sakura Dungeon that Yomi mentioned is there too.

"Anyways, do you know where I am? I am not sure if a Controller drove me insane or I'm stuck in some kind of anomaly."

Common Room - Yomi 'n Ceri in the Mooooooooorning

"Likewise, we tend not to get many men in the Sakura Dungeon. Though we most definitely have a controller in this anomaly of ours," Yomi replied to Strelok. "Though it likely is far beyond whatever magic you are used to in your own world."

She twirled her umbrella slightly as she used her other hand to gesture around to the room itself.

"The short of it is that pieces of several worlds have been merged into one. Where we are standing is the central area, which most refer to as the common room," she continued. "It is a place where one can travel between the lands that have been summoned to this world, and where we may meet in relative peace. You'll find yourself unable to harm anyone when standing within these walls. We have been brought here at the behest of the one we call the Cure, a large red man who stands about eight paces tall, and who I have always seen seated in that throne... until today."

"Um... maybe being a Loner is why you haven't seen a woman in a long time?" Ceri half-stated, half-asked.

Also the Common Room

With more people showing up by the second, it was starting to get weird.

Though, the Fairy Tail wizards were pretty used to weird, so all things considered, still not too bad compared to the typical Tuesday that the group had to deal with.

And, while the fox-lady was explaining things to the mask guy, that's when Happy noticed the catwoman in a nun outfit.

"Heeeeeeeeeeeey there, Kitten," Happy said, smoothly sliding on up until he was standing nearby. "You're scared, huh? Well don't worry, Fairy Tail is here!"

He lifted up one of his cute little paws and gave a salute.

"We're the best Wizard Guild in all of Fiore, there's nothing we can't do!"

Carla, standing next to Wendy, simply put her hand on her forehead and sighed. "Tomcat...."

Day 5

Amazon Trio (Circe, Wonder Woman, and Artemis)—Common room—The wish '''

Circe, "The place you let me stay was wonderful dearie," Yomi. I never got so much love in a millennium. Was nice to be loved for a change." the sorcerers would tell the monster girl with a bow of reverence. "If you ever need a witch, give me a call." She winked at them, offering them a magic card with a portrait of her. "Just think of me and I will come at you." The witch winked at them.

Wonder woman, approached Yomi an Ceri. "I thank you for your hospitality. For my part, and as ambassador of Themiscyra, you can count my people as allies of your land. " She smiled at them.

Artemis approached them. "You people are strong, and you don't need me. "But if you ask for it, I will raise my sword at your side." The Amazon broke her serious expression with a faint smile as she remembered the fox tamer.

But then, when she received her message from the cure, Wonder Woman spoke up seemingly at thin air.

"Cure, the longer I am around this patch world of yours, the more I realize I can't do this alone. I will play your game for now but don't mistake this as submission. I will find a way to bring everyone back home, and beat you,"

If what Yang said was true, and Batman was around she only needed Superman to form the legendary trio.

"I wish for Superman —" She interrupted herself." No... my mother wouldn't let him be with us. " She rephrased her wish. "I wish for a heroine from my world to fight at my side.”

Day 4—

Teen titans—Common room

"That is not a big sacrifice my red-haired friend. You are welcome to engage in the nocturnal restfulness and stay with you as long as you desire."

Raven sighed, crossing her arms. "You can’t just offer every person you meet to say with us."

"But you are welcome anyway," Robin would tell Kyoko. "So, what's your story?" he asked. "I thought everyone came with a room, didn't they?"

The Ruins, Yesternight

Toriel gasped, bringing her hands up to her mouth. Chara, meanwhile, put on a wide eyed pleading look. "Oh, thank goodness you're here. Father must be so worried-"

"Chara!" cried a mortified Toriel, "This is no time for jokes."

"Worth it," muttered Chara with a smirk.

"Boys, there has been some kind of mistake. Astolfo here would not do that sort of thing...Would you?" Toriel looked to young pink-hair imploringly.

New Home

Asriel nodded thoughtfully. "I was so tired of being a flower, especially by the end. Sure, I could cover things with vines, or burrow under the earth to get places I'd never been, but none of that could replace having hands and feet... Don't know how I would've felt if I'd met someone like Kapoor. Maybe latched onto him as a 'new Chara' to play with forever... I guess I had reminders of my old life too. I could go back to my dad or my mom whenever I wanted. But without my body...not to mention my compassion...It was like looking at my old life through a TV screen."

There was a sudden knock on the door, startling Asriel. "Asriel, Mao? What would you like for breakfast?"

"Scrambled eggs, please!" He glanced back to Asriel. "Time to put our best smiles on, huh?"

On the other side of the door, Asgore had a fairly natural smile on his own face. He'd woken up that morning bright and refreshed, ready for a lovely day. But it was a jollity that came with a sense of purpose. It was time to get his priorities straight. This would be the day he finally got his people out of the underground and into the light. Most of them anyhow. The schedule was clear. Finish up breakfast, make sure the sleepover buddies were cared for, then head to the Common Room, make a wish to the Cure, and continue on his way to speak with the leadership at Zi-Jin Cheng. Maybe bring along Alphys as well. She'd enjoy the technology for sure.

Someplace new...

Widowmaker was the first to awake. Her work regimen and finely tuned body clock wouldn't have it any other way. Upon opening her eyes and looking about, she was immediately conscious of being in a different place. Sure, it had the usual look of a Talon base bedroom- dark wallpaper, spartan decor, a window to let at least some light into the dreary tomb. But it was undeniably a different place than before, the window was pure light and nothing more, and in fact, Widowmaker had no recollection of even going to bed. Widowmaker slowly sat upright. Something was very wrong, but there would be nothing to gain from panicking, as if she could. Instead, followed her usual routine. She got up, picked a scrunchy off the bedside table, put her hair in a ponytail and went directly to the dresser, popping it open to find her various suits had apparently carried over. Once her usual skintight attire with metallic accoutrements was equipped, she exited the room to see what was beyond.

She found herself in an apparent tribute to the council room in Rialto, Venice. The boardroom table was considerably shorter, however, having room for only five chairs including the one at the head, and the stone 'T' on the far wall was now, on closer inspection, a painting on a sliding door. There were three closed doors to the left, two to the right including her bedroom, and a opposite the 'T' door, a flight of stairs leading down. Widowmaker followed the stairs far enough to see a replica of the Venice armoury. Walls lined with showcase panels glowing amber, where a large variety of weapons hung, most of them rifles. The workbench in the middle was the same, though the dresser to the side was a new addition. She'd investigate further later, but for now, doors were sliding open behind her as her usual cohorts assessed the situation their own way.

"What the actual hell?!" This was Sombra, still in her light purple pyjamas. "This better not be some kind of estupid training exercise!"

"Trust me," said Moira, adjusting currently in button-up shirt and black trousers, coolly examining the area. "This was not on the schedule."

A billow of black smoke burst into the room, and Reaper materialised on the table, fully outfitted and guns akimbo. After making sure there were no enemies surrounding him, he slowly relaxed his posture and held his guns upwards.

"Honestly, Gabriel," said Moira, "If this were a trap, why would they leave you your guns and all your clothes?"

"You have a better explanation for what the hell this is?"

"I believe I have something, at least." All eyes turned to the last bedroom door, where Doomfist was entering the scene. In loose trousers and white vest, he wandered over to the head of the room, eyes fixed on a sheet of paper in his hand. "'Greetings. Right now, I am sure you have questions. What happened? Who is responsible for this? If you are outside or near a window, you may have already noticed the changes outside. Suffice it to say, you are no longer on your world. Now, you are in MY world. You are far from the only ones I have brought here, however. Should you wish answers, then you should enter the blue portal that now stands before you, or leave your current quarters and follow the hall. All questions you have shall be addressed there.'"

"...This...This a joke. This is an incredibly stupid joke."

Sombra cocked an eyebrow. "Overwatch's getting creative with their captures, huh?"

"We do not know what this is," said Doomfist, tossing the sheet of paper. "Until we do, we must be on our guard, but keeping an open ear. Everyone, casual dress, light weapons only. When you are ready, follow me, calmly and quietly."

With that, everyone returned to their rooms. Widowmaker traded her assassin outfit for a reasonably short maroon dress with black tights and flats. Sombra went for her usual bomber jacket work attire, keeping her gun concealed. Moira completed her suit, tie and lab coat combination. Doomfist put on an orange shirt. Reaper made absolutely no attempt to change his clothes or weaponry, and simply stood tapping his foot by the door until everyone was ready.

Finally, Team Talon exited the room in single file, with Doomfist leading the pack. As one, they coolly and confidently strode to the main room, looking left to right to observe any unusual details.

There were a lot of unusual details.

Strelok- Common Room- MORE WOMEN?!

It appears that this whole mess was created by a strange being called the Cure, who brought the Zone for...unknown reasons, where is this Cure at all? It also appears that what Yomi said about not being able to harm anybody in this place was true, as he seemed unable to pull the trigger of his AK-74 no matter how hard he tried. Strange. He decided best to holster his rifle. He then spoke to Yomi.

"So this is a neutral place, it seems. Where is this Cure exactly? I need answer to find out more about this place, and especially to warn the leaders of the other places that border the Zone of its threat. Who knows what would happen if mutants, bandits, or god forbid, the Monolith move out to these other worlds."

....Then suddenly, even more women came out of nowhere to speak with Yomi and Ceri, weirdy dressed too while were at it.

....

He thought the Zone would let him get used to weird things, but it appears that is not true. Giving a small sigh as if having to get used to these weird sights, he then turned to Ceri.

"No...we're not actual lone people, thats just the name we gave to our faction. It's just that women coming to the Zone is something that's kind of a urban legend. A place where there is radiation, criminals, trigger happy Military, reality warped to either burn you alive or to crush you with a shockwave, and deadly mutated animals that can kill you in different ways is something that wouldn't really interest a woman at all."

The Zone- Pripyat- Ghost Town

In the ghost town of Pripyat, lies the remains of what was once a proud and great city, with a population of over fifty thousand people, now a ghost town, a broken, looted shell of what it once used to be. With Cars broken down and rusted due to neglect, nature taking over surroundings building and streets, with grass almost everywhere.

Though this is no longer a ghost town, as many deadly mutants wander around the ghost city, along with the cultist of the Monolith faction, now their headquarters, many soldiers of their faction patrolling the areas of the city. It seems like the mutants and the Monolith do no harm to each other, even with many encounters with them, the two sides do nothing to each other, as if they are friendlys. The main forces of the Monolith arepatrolling the Palace of Culture, the main location where their headquarters is, with many of the patrols being heavily armored and a threat to would be invaders.

Inside the basement of the Palace of Culture was the the commander of the Monolith faction, Charon, once a former mercenary known as Scar, now turned into a leader of the forces of the crystal. He was currently speaking with a cultist of the faction wearing their version of the SEVA suit.

"High priest Charon, The Brain Scorcher in the Red Forest is disabled. No matter our efforts to return it to it's original state , it does not turn back on." The cultist informed Charon, speaking in a monotone and soulless tone.

"Was it caused by one of the blasphemers outside the warehouses? They could had created something to resist the effects of the Scorcher and sneaked in and sabotage the scorcher."

"No, high priest. It just...was disabled instantly. As if something caused it to short out. What shall we do?"

"I shall seek the Great Monolith for guidance. In the meantime, priest Vitalij, warn our fellow brothers and warriors in the Nuclear plant, the city and the Red Forest to strenghten their defenses and watch out for any heretic and non believer who dare enter our sacred land. The great Crystal must be protected at all costs."

"Yes, high priest." With a bow to Charon, the priest of the Monolith left the basement, leaving Charon alone. The commander of the Monolith then looked over to a statue of the Monolith in the basement. Charon afterwards went on his knees and started praying to the monolith for a few seconds...and then closed his eyes...

"Oh great Monolith, I need your council and guidance, we are in a troubling situation and we need your wisdom to know what to do..."

Suddenly as he opened his eyes, Charon found himself in a vision, finding himself in the Sarcophagus of the Power Plant, right in front of the Wish Granter itself.

"Oh, great Monolith, I come to you for guidance...." Charon kneeled to the Monolith as a sign of great respect to it, his head lowered as if even deeming himself of being not worthy of seeing such a great being.

"YOU CAN RISE, MY GREAT WARRIOR. I KNOW OF THE SITUATION THAT IS HAPPENING, CHARON."

Charon rose up and stared at the Wish Granter. "What is happening, great crystal?"

"I HAVE FELT...A CHANGE...AS IF WE WERE MOVED TO ANOTHER PLACE...I CAN FEEL IT CHARON...I FEAR THAT SOMETHING UNKNOWN WILL ATTACK YOUR PEOPLE AND ME, CHARON. YOU MUST PROMISE ME, CHARON, THAT YOU WILL NOT LET ANY BLASPHEMER GET TO ME AND THIS SACRED LAND. DO YOU UNDERSTAND?"

"Yes, Great Monolith. We will not let any harm come to you, we promise. The center of the Zone will be protected even more to not let anybody get to you."

"GOOD....DO NOT FAIL ME." Suddenly, the vision ended, and Charon found himself staring right back at the wooden statue of the Monolith. Charon rose up, and now knew what to do...

All heretics who dare cross this land...shall burn.

DiMA, Far Harbor

DiMA stirred and awoke that early morning in front of the gates of Far Harbor. As he rose, he realized he was not within the safe confines of Acadia, but outside, by the town of Far Harbor. There must have been a critical error in his processes, because he never slept, and he would have remembered clearly leaving his studies to go outside. Before he could panic, DiMA noticed a note in his hand, which he didn't remember ever receiving, and read it.

It didn't explain nearly as much as he hoped.

Then a blue portal appeared right in front of him, an event in and of itself. Normally, DiMA would have weighed his options carefully in such a situation, and consult with Faraday and Chase for their opinions, but all rhyme and reason had been thrown out of the window that morning, and he didn't particularly feel explaining the situation to the Harbormen, who fortunately didn't seem to be awake at the hour. DiMA steeled himself for a moment, and stepped inside the portal.

DiMA, The Common Room

On the other side of the portal was a plain room, that was eerily sterile and gave him memories of the Institute's laboratories. Inside and around the room, DiMA saw an assortment of colorful people, and only a few who stuck to wearing more practical practical grays and blacks. Maybe they were other people who had ended up in his situation? It wouldn't hurt to ask, and maybe judge if the other people around him were a threat.

"Hello," DiMA said, timidly, still watching the others who had been assembled. "I assume everyone here received a strange note, and came through a portal? That's how I arrived."

DiMA clasped his hands, nervously. The others were certainly colorful, but he had no idea how they'd react to a Generation 2 synth such as himself, especially one who had been enhanced and modified over the years with so many networks of memory banks and wires. He hoped there wouldn't be any aggressive actions taken towards him.

DAY 4

Before Heading To Bed, Meeting Room #1

Four figures, bought together by fate on another world than this one, went to one of the Private Meeting Rooms to have a discussion about the events of the past day.

"Carmilla had betrayed us to side with Vergil and Nyarlathotep," spoke the dhampir as if he had expected it to happen.

"Carmilla should never be trusted!" yelled the witch, anger clearly in her voice. "She darkened human hearts and started the witch hunts that killed my coven!"

"Then she is also responsible for my mother's death," the dhampir explained to the three. "She was killed by humans in the witch hunts despite not being a witch herself, and it drove my father to war with humanity when previously he was merely satisfied to oppose God with his own accursed immortality as a vampire. In addition, he currenly seems satisfied to stop plaguing humanity now that my mother is back among the living."

The other three understood the implications of this.

"If Carmilla had helped to kill Dracula's wife, why does he still let her serve him instead of killing her himself?" the pirate asked the dhampir.

"I do not think my father knows about that, yet," the dhampir answered.

"The psuedo-vampire Contractor known as Havoc had stolen the Vampire Killer from me," the vampire hunter explained to the others. "Misaki, the current leader of Hell's Gate Tokyo, told me that she went through the Common Room to Castlevania afterwards."

The other three understood the implications of this.

"Ya think Dracula has it now?" the pirate asked the vampire hunter.

"Possibly."

"I have a plan," said the dhampir sure of himself. "A plan to keep my mother safe and confront Dracula about the Vampire Killer."

DAY 5

Alucard & Lisa, Castlevania Coastline

It had been rather easy for Alucard to sneak back into Castlevania since he was the son of Dracula and his wife. Alucard had two goals in mind... Getting his mother out of Castlevania proper before Trevor's confrontation with him and paying off a certain airship crew which he and Sypha made an agreement with. He made sure he not only had enough gold for paying for their services yesterday, but also for paying them to take his mother and himself to another chunk. The two simply sat there watching the sun rise over Paradise Island.

"This was a beautiful sunrise, Adrian," Lisa smiled back at her son, happy that he seems to be willing to put aside the differences between his father and himself so that they could try to be a family again.

"Indeed," Alucard stated as he simply waited for the one person he knew would show up right where they were.

Trevor, Grant & Shanoa, Devil May Cry

Outside of bathing, Alucard did not join the rest of Trevor's group to sleep in the DMC Room last night. Whenever asked, his three companions simply said that he was getting the money to pay Balthier and his crew for their help. However, Trevor, Sypha, and Grant did know what Alucard was doing, but his mission was simply one he had to do alone. It was one that had to be done before Trevor could start his own mission. As such, Trevor was in a more depressed mood than usual, eating the pizza of this place slower than either Grant or Shanoa were. For her part, Shanoa was completely out of the loop in regards to what the others discussed last night, but she lacked the emotions to be offended by it.

When Dante told Sypha that Lady wanted to see her, Sypha simply nodded and headed to her office.

After Sypha went over to the office, Trevor gathered up a number of pizza slices in his hand and waved his other at Dante, "I am headed to the Common Room, but I will be back."

Without waiting for a response, Trevor left for the Common Room.

"Dante, if you live off of this stuff, how do you keep from getting scurvy?" Grant asked Dante curious of the answer. "Personally, I've always preferred fruity drinks."

Sypha, Lady's Office

Sypha did not mean to listen in, but it was not like she could help it. Lady had called the witch to her office and she just overheard her conversation with Nero. Apparently, Nero was asking if Vergil was his father. Of course, Lady denied it, but Sypha was not so sure. She had spent enough time with Vergil to know that he does embrace his demonic heritege, but that isn't exactly proof that Vergil wouldn't make love to a woman and have a child. After all, even Dracula himself found a wife and had a son and it was distinctly the loss of his wife to humanity that made him destructive towards them. Eventually, the heated conversation died down and Sypha knocked on the door, only coming in when Lady gave the word.

"You wanted to see me?" Sypha asked Lady, nodding to Nero in the corner.

Felicia, Common Room

Felicia turned to look at the person addressing her, before looking down to see a blue bipedal cat. It was a strange sight for her to see especially since the bipedal cat was male. He was absolutely unlike the catwoman species that Felicia belonged to. Felicia's catlike ears twitched and her catlike tail weaved right behind her as she looked at the bipedal cat. And she couldn't help but chuckle at him.

"Fairy Tail, huh?" Felicia asked before smirking and turning her face to look away from the bipedal cat. "Never heard of them or Fiore."

"The name's Felicia. I'm a catwoman," Felicia chuckled a bit at Happy. "And I can tell you aren't a normal cat or a catwoman... or catman, I guess."

The way Felicia said 'catman' seemed to indicate that she had just made the term up on the spot in an attempt to avoid offending the bipedal cat.

"So who are you and this Fairy Tail?" Felicia asked Happy and looked around.

Trevor, Common Room

When he headed to the Common Room, the first person he saw was Amber, but as he went to approach her, he overheard someone else saying... 'Casselvayneeya.' Turning to hear the person speaking, it was the kid from before... The one with the holy arrows. Trevor looked to Amber one more time, clenched his fists, and walked over to the kid in green.

"Castle. Vania. Castlevania," Trevor corrected the fairy's pronunciation as he ate a slice of pizza. "I am Trevor Belmont. What do you wish to know?"

Dracula & Bartley, Throne Room

Dracula was having a bad day. Carmilla has disappeared. He cannot locate his wife anywhere. He knew he was going to have guests later because of that idiot psuedo-vampire. And finally, Death had told him that Genosha had gone missing which meant that Outworld may end up becoming a problem. However, Dracula was hopeful to salvage the situation. In addition, the one who he had summoned with a second wish, Elizabeth Bathory, was apparently from the year 1917 and she had some very intriguing stories to tell. At the moment, Bathory or 'Bartley' as she has been using as an alias was also in the throne room while Death toured the castle in search for visitors, his wife, or Carmilla.

Common Room: That Morning

Bond was in the middle of cleaning his Walther PPK as the sight of his hotel room suddenly blinked out of existence, and was replaced by a very packed Common Room. Naturally, Bond wasn’t the only thing to arrive from the loss of Area 11, as the sudden appearance of a very sleek sports car next to him could attest to.

He pulled the cleaning rod out of his pistol’s ejection port, and as he reloaded the weapon and returned it to his holster, the secret agent cast his eyes up towards the globe in the middle of the room.

Area 11 was gone. Santa Destroy, Q had informed him of late last night, had left part-way through the day, and now Fuyuki City was gone too. Almost every chunk he had interacted with yesterday had been taken from Battleworld, the sole exception being Chaldea. And Hell’s Gate Tokyo, but Q had done the talking there.

And as for the Chunkless, Bond took a few steps towards the centre of the room, enough to be able to look down the Chunkless Corridor. Devil May Cry remained, thank goodness, but the Batfamily had disappeared too.

For the first time in his life, Bond felt a feeling wash over him. Futility. So many connections he’d spent time working on, so many projects he’d begun, all crumbling to nothing on the whims of the Cure. In the past, he’d always been able to do something. There was always a solution, a gadget up his sleeve, a lead to follow, something to wait for, something to pursue.

But Artoria was dead, her killer taken off the face of the Earth, and the man who saw fit to employ her killer gone much the same. What was the point of continuing to get involved, make connections, fighting the good fight, if it could all be gone tomorrow?

Well. That was the operative word, wasn’t it? Could. Not would. Even back home, life could end at any moment, and that had never stopped Bond from trying before.

Bond pulled out his phone and sent a one-word text, before returning it to his pocket. A minute later, a nondescript man in casual clothing scurried out of the Commons Corridor, caught the keys that Bond tossed to him, and carefully drove the Aston Martin back to the Universal Exports room.

That just left Bond with mingling to do. And there were many options. A man in military gear was talking to two women, one with fox ears. A trio of women, two in armoured leotards, were asking Cure for their wish…

Or there was the man in the skull-face mask, who’d arrived with several people in formal wear, one of whom was purple, and a raver.

Bond approached them casually, hands in his trouser pockets, adding on a wide smile for flair.

Hiya.” He started, affecting a suburban Los Angeles accent. “New here? Crazy place, right?

They do have medals for almost, and they're called silver!

Kawakaze - Sakura Empire

The aquatic fox had been enjoying a relaxing walk along the water of the outer islands in a more traditional outfit, enjoying the sights of falling petals and leafs. It was a time to think, alone for herself, without the burdon of her purpose weighing down on her... a brief respite from being a weapon of war...

Or at least it was normally, something seemed off today, the horizon was diffent, appearing off in the distance was a new shoreline... visible, but there was probaly some time until the avrage person noticed. It was strange, new islands don't just appear over night, especially not ones that seem to be inhabited... or at least that is what she thought.

She turned around to go to the docks, to suit up with her rigging and to go investigate, but as soon as she did so a note appeared in her hands.

Opening it, the fox went over it once.... and then she went over it again, in disbelief of what it was saying until a portal did indeed open up in front of her.

Not knowing if she had the time to go get her rigging now, she just took a deep breath and stepped through.

Kawakaze - Common Room

Looking around Kawakaze found herself in a location unlike any thing she had ever seen before, stark white save for a select few identifying markers and packed to the brim with people. What was worse was that most of these people looked like something out a science fiction novel....

One was wearing what could only be described as a super sleek diving suit, another had a car that looked like it was from a conpleatly diffrent century...

Over in another direction was a mobile maniquin with wires and tubes sticking out of them...

Kawakaze rubed her eyes, deciding she must still be half asleep, but subconsciously her tail wrapped around her knowing she wasn't.

Common Room - Yomi 'n Ceri

"You flatter me far too much, I did what any fox would do for her neighbors," Yomi said to the Amazon Trio, giving them a friendly wave as they went to make their wish, and Ceri simply stood there blushing embarrassedly the whole while.

"Many of us have indeed recieved such notes," she said to DiMA

"Ummm...." Ceri looked at DiMA, pressing her fingers together as she thought of how to word this. "Are you okay? You have... stuff, on you."

She gestured at the said 'stuff' poking out of DiMA's head... and shoulder.... Out of his everywhere.

"You never know what may interest a woman, you may have more guests than you know how to handle," Yomi added to Strelok. "We most certainly have recieved our own share of guests in the Sakura Dungeon. As for the Cure and his whereabouts - I cannot say. I arrived yesterday, and he has always been here, seated at his throne."

Her ears perked up and her tail slightly wagged as she took in a new sight.

"Fufufu, what do we have here?" she asked, slinking over towards Kawakaze. She casually rotated her umbrella over her shoulder as she leaned towards the sleepy boat and smiled. "Another Fox, but not a type found in my dungeon. Just where do you come from, my dear ashen-haired vixen?"

Also the Common Room

"I'm Happy, and we're Fairy Tail!" Happy happily declared to Felicia. "We're a Wizard Guild, which means we help people who are in trouble, fight off monsters and villains, and keep the world safe. But if you don't have any Jewel to pay for us to do a job, I'm sure for a cute cat like yourself we could-"

"Are you serious!?" Lucy snapped at the cat and stomped ahead.

"Don't mind Happy, we haven't gotten around to getting him fixed," Lucy said with a smile to Felicia, stepping in between the two to try and keep the cat out of sight. Then she briefly turned her head around and glared daggers at the little blue bastard. "Yet."

Happy shivered and took a step back.

"I uh... just remembered I wanted to talk to Erza... over here," Happy stammered out, backstepping all the way to Erza and tapping her on the shin. "Hey Erza, what are we gonna do?"

"What we always do, Happy," Erza proclaimed to the cat, ready to get into one of her speeches. "Fairy Tail is going to-"

Juvia balled up her fists, raised her arms up above her head, and then started flailing around wildly as she shouted at the empty throne and cut off whatever Erza was going to say.

"Juvia demands to know where her darling Gray is! Why is he not here! What have you done with him, you bastard! Show your face! If you are going to do this to Juvia, then at least have the courage to face her!"

Vergil-Archades Safehouse

Whenever Havoc woke up and left the bedroom she was sleeping in, outside the door, she would find a particular white haired man. Said man was sitting in a chair, currently reading a book in one hand while holding his blade in the other. Said book was called "Daemonic Bestiary". Next to him on a table sat a number of other books. "A brief history of the Archadian Empire", "Magicks, an introduction", and "The Void, Myth or Fact?" Said man did not so much as bother to glance at Havoc, seemingly content to continue reading his book until she choose to address him.

Dante-DMC Office

Dante shrugged at Grant. "Live off it? Na, I eat other things. Sometimes. But hey, I can get as much of it as I want for free here, where back home, I'd have to pay like, 10 bucks a box. I'm taking advantage of the freebies while I can. What about you, how'd your trip with Lady go?"

Lady-Lady's Office

"Oh, good, come on in Sypha."

She waited for her to enter, motioning for her to sit in the chair Nero had tried to use a second ago. Nero, for his part, paid her no mind, grabbing a pair of headphones that were blaring loud music, putting them on, and then pulling out a cell phone to do something on it.

"So, let's cut to the chase. Vergil's still out there. I'm putting together a hunting team. The objective, a simple one. We are going to find Vergil, and make sure he can never hurt anyone ever again. We are going to find him, and kill him. I've already asked a couple of people who I'm hoping will agree to help to come by my office today, but you were a part of the team that assulted that city the thing was taking refuge in, so I'm hoping you can help me find more. I don't intend to play fair with Vergil, I'm going to get as many people as I can find who can be trusted and are willing to help. None of this 1 on 1 stupidity that Minako tried to do. So, can you give me a list of the people who were with you that you think might be a good fit for the group who don't belong to SEES?"

Balthier/Fran-Common Room

Meanwhile, Balthier and his crew (Including the new monster recruits) stepped out of the City 17 portal. Spying the man he was looking for, Balthier walked over to him and the other woman.

"Brought a lady friend today, did we?" Balthier asked, giving a nod toward her. "Charmed."

"I trust you have brought that which we require?" Fran asked Alucard.

Luna Nova - Entrance

The man from Tokyo would feel a trio walk past him and his companions, disappearing into the portal just as he arrived. The timing was such that they did not not seem to notice him. Like two people in a revolving door.

He would find him self just out side of the school gates. Through the bars stood an old building with grand architecture, reminiscent of a monastery in some ways. In the distance stood an incredibly tall tower. Even in the light of day a green glow could be seen at its tip. The paved road he stood on trailed forward before becoming a roundabout just out side the school's entrance proper. Behind him it trailed ever further out over green fields and hills. If the grass and trees was not evident enough, he only had to listen to be able to tell the place was secluded out in the country. Quiet, with only the wind and birds.

Of course before any of that, he may have taken note of the Minotaur standing between him and the school. The creature of legend was alive here before him. It easily stood more then twice his height, and had many times more in pure mass. The creature wore nothing but a loin cloth, displaying all of its bulging muscles. Upon seeing the visitors, the beast let out a huff then flexed to show how tough it was. It flexed both its biceps while showing off its bulging chest. Then it quickly switched positions to show how tightly packed its back was. Then it got in another pose, and another, until one had to wonder if it was trying to model for them.

Beside him stood another massive creature from legend, a large green troll. It too had an impressive physique and wore only a simple loincloth to display that fact. Unlike his partner, the Troll seemed much more uncomfortable in the garment. It tried to cover it self with its massive arms, its green face a light shade of red and trying to avoid eye contact.

One of the goblins got the bright idea that their janitorial suits weren't intimidating enough for guard work. It they wanted to scare off intruders, they were going to have to channel the old ways. But none of them were around in the old days, so it just felt like standing around in his under wear.

From the behind the gate a trio of girls sat on wooden stools. They each wore a blue and white school uniform with matching blue-green sashes. Two of the three had their heads down in a book. The first, a lanky girl with long straight black hair held back by a blue hair band. The clean and proper look was more then enough to let one know she was a goody goody. The second, a brunette with her bob tucked behind her ears. Compared to the text heavy book of the lanky girl, hers was filled with many pictures, primarily of varying monsters and ghouls. The last girl, a red head with pig tails and freckles, merely looked up at the sky while chowing down on mochi.

The red head was the first notice the visitors, causing her suddenly chock on the rice cake. Her two friends looked up from the page.

"Ah!? Are you alright?"

"Its cause you were pigging out again..."

Being unable to speak, she slapped her thigh to get their attention, then pointed at the entrance. The two other girls' heads turned to follow, only to find the other trio standing there. Suddenly remembering what it was they were supposed to be doing as greeters at the gate, the lanky girl quickly got up and made her way over, the brunette instead staying behind to make sure her friend didn't meet an embarrassing end.

The skinny bookworm pushed her way past the gate walked toward the visitors. There was a certain hesitation in her movements, a certain shyness. This was first contact, at least for her anyways. She was silent a moment, trying to form an opinion on these visitors in her mind, before remembering her manners.

"Ah, Good morning. Can we help you with something?"

The red head and the brunette merely watched from behind the gate, a look of scrutiny on their faces. The red head had been practicing her fire magic. Should any of them try to make move, she would swoop in like a fire mage. She'd be just like super hero! She'd look so cool! The brunette however could't hide her disappointment. They were just dumb old humans! Where were the extra eyes or tentacles!? At least the body guard showed some promise. it looked like it could be some sort of doppelganger or golem construct.

All three waited to see how the visitors would react.

Common room

From out of the Luna Nova portal came a trio of school girls, different from yesterdays. Compared to most of the exotic characters gathered, they probably seemed normal. Each wore the blue and white school uniform of Luna Nova.

Of the three the red head probably stood out the most, in no small part because she literally stood much taller then the others. However, her long deep red hair and large pretty eyes also helped. Her blonde companion with the permed hair had a regal air about her. One might even compare her to the blonde girl from yesterday, though between the two, this one lacked a certain je ne sais quoi. The third girl stood shorter then other two, and standing next to the red head made her seem tiny in comparison.

The three of them looked about the room awe. So this was the common room, a meeting point of different dimension. It certainly lived up to its reputation as characters of all sort walked about like it was a cosplay convention. But while the other two oohed and awwed, the short girl made a dash straight for the map a soon as she entered.

She got right up to the table and began scanning the surface of the globe. There was certain desperation in eyes as she clenched a fist over her chest, as if her heart was in danger of shattering at any moment. Her lips silently repeating a prayer over and over. But her eyes found nothing. In disbelief she searched the map again, and again, but found that her prayers were not answered. Tears forming in her eyes, she slumped over the table and put her head in her arms.

Her two friends caught up to her, confused at what had just happen. They gently rubbed her back, trying to comfort the poor girl. The blonde was the first to speak, a hint of a french accent in her voice.

"Elfriede, what's wrong?"

"*sniff* He is not here. When they told us about Battleworld, I was so sure that it was destiny trying to bring us together. But...he's not here...*sob*"

The short girl's explanation did little to alleviate her friends' confusion. However realization slowly dawned on the tall girl.

"Hey Elfriede, this doesn't have anything to do with that fake book boyfriend of yours does it...?"

"His name is Arthur!"

The short girl snapped, offended that her friend couldn't remember the name of her husband. The red head couldn't help but laugh, partly because she was relieved that's all it was. The blonde recoiled her hand with an unamused look. Honestly, getting them worked up over something so silly. She began lecturing her friend.

"Behave yourself! We are representing Luna Nova to the world at large. Do you want them to think we are a bunch of children!?"

She let out a little huff and sat down in the seat marked for Akko.

Brrmmfffft

The tall and short girl turned toward the blonde in silent shock, wondering if they really heard what they thought they did. A look of surprise showed on the blonde, as she stood up to inspect her seat. In it stood a crushed mushroom, yellow mucus oozing out of it and covering the horrified girl's bottom.

"They said Sucy was left alone here yesterday..."

"You don't think this was what she was..."

The look of surprise on the blonde's face quickly turned to frustration, before simply accepting defeat. She sat down again, not caring about the whoopee cushion sound as she put her head in her hands. It was all over. This was her chance to finally show Diana up. Show how great she was to the rest of Battleworld before they were blinded by that Cavendish reputation. But how was she supposed to do that now? How was she supposed to represent Luna Nova to delegates around the world with a dripping yellow butt!?

The short girl put a hand on the other's shoulder and smiled trying to comfort her friend.

"Hey come on. Its nothing to get so up set over."

Somehow, the blonde didn't want to hear that from a girl who was just crying over her lost love of a story book character. The tall girl also put a hand on the blonde's shoulder in an attempt to comfort her, however her attention seemed to be distracted. The red head couldn't help but look about the room at all the insanity.

"Hey Chloe, I'm going to walk around real quick."

"Oh, I'm going with you Sarah."

With a final pat, the tall and short pair walked off, leaving the blonde to her predicament. The blonde, Chloe, reached out to her two friends abandoning her. They were really just leaving her like this!? Its not like she could follow with this stain, and it looked like it might be a while before the place was empty enough for her to slip out and change clothes. She watched the two, hoping against hope that they don't do anything to embarrass her and Luna Nova at large.

The two for their part would walk around, poking their head into conversations and gawking at those around like they were cosplayers on display at a convention.

Out of another portal the newcomers from Facility X-394 would arrive. A pair of women, both in in black suits with red ties, though one wore a long white lab coat over hers. There was an air of professionalism about them, each step with purpose.

The woman in the white lab coat had a certain haunting beauty to her. Refined features with no emotions, like a doll who became human. She took a few measured steps then stopped. She merely stood at attention with her eyes closed, waiting for the abnormality to appear as instructed. She kept this stance, only opening her eyes slightly to allow her piercing yellow eyes to scan the room before closing them once more.

Her accomplice was much more active. She instantly busied her jotting down notes on a worn down clip board and relaying them back to her team through a head piece.

"Portal confirmed to act similarly to those observed in instances involving O-02-63 and T-09-86. Supernatural field observed when entering room. Cross reference T-06-27 as it appears the room it self is emitting the field. Designate location as BW-CM-01. Further study necessary. Have a team waiting to see if there are any residual effects left after exiting BW-CM-01. Abnormality ALEPH currently not present, though several smaller abnormalities observed. Designate as ZAYIN and TETH until further study. Inform all employees when making contact to practice safety protocols set up from D-02-107 and D-03-109."

The woman had a chipper tone to her voice, as if she loved her work. For the moment however, the two seemed to keep to themselves. Studying the room and others present rather then engaging with them.

Mushroom Kingdom, Rogueport Sewers: It's Like the One Ring, but It Fits Around Your Head!

All in all, Jai spent an uneventful (and not unpleasant) evening in the sewers of the Mushroom Kingdom. Stuffing his many many maps of the place into his jacket and using it as a pillow, the Contractor snoozed alongside one of the waterlines a few twists and turns away from the portal's pipeline. The fact that he was sleeping in a sewer didn't seem to bother him all that much; possibly because he recalled the stench that radiated off the feet of his Sophomore year roommate, and could safely say that a river of Toad and Koopa filth was a finer fragrance to sleep nearby.

When morning came (or rather, when he decided to stop sleeping, since there was presently no sun to rise or set) Jai collected the rolled up and crumpled myriad maps and continued on his journey to...uhhh...somewhere else.

The appearance of a friendly hobo selling garbage was a monumental encounter in Jai's travels so far. Mostly because it was the second of two! The Contractor peered at the many finely tarnished and filthy wares with eyes squinting so much it looked like he had closed them. Just when he was about to ask for the price on the tuna, the Cursed Relic came into sight.

As he gazed upon the lustrous meme, it seemed to radiate a special aura. Like Midus before him, the Contractor found himself compelled to stare (wide-eyed, for once in his life) at the glowing gold, and determined that he must have it for himself. He would look SO pretty with it on!

Without a single word being uttered, Jai took his pile of crumpled, ripped, and slightly drooled-on maps and slammed them all on the hobo's makeshift stand!

"Give you all these maps for the crown." he offered, in a quiet monotone voice that seriously contradicted his gesture.

Underground, Dreemurr Residence: One Last Question

Being a cat wasn't all terrible—for starters, getting to nap as much and wherever you wanted was a great perk—but there were still some of those simple things about being a human that Mao nowadays treated as precious as gold; among that list of "rare treasures" was getting served a hot meal. The thought of getting scrambled eggs for breakfast made his mouth water, but before the out-of-body-experience pair left the room, there was one thing that the Contractor wanted to bring up.

"One last question, if you don't mind." Mao said, turning to Asriel as if to study his face.

"If you could have the powers that Flowey had, and still retain your ability to feel for others...would you take it?"

Common Room (Tatl and Link): Uhhhh, That's What I SAID? XP

Mao was not the only person on Battleworld eager for breakfast. In their haste to find Majora's Mask, Link had forgotten to snag a bite to eat back in Themiscrya. Now, looking at a man eating one of those snot triangles, the little hero was becoming acutely aware of his empty stomach.

"Right. Name's Tatl. My partner and I are looking for a boy wearing a creepy-looking mask. It's supposed to...uhh..."

Tatl paused because Link had started drooling, his eyes fixated on the food in Trevor's hand.

"You were given one of those yesterday, remember? You fed it to one of the queen's pets because you thought it looked too gross to eat!"

Link turned to the fairy with a pleading look that childishly cried "yeah, but I don't think that now!"

Letting out a groan, Tatl focused back on the vampire hunter: "We're looking for a kid in a mask that came here with us. We got a lead that he'd hopped into Paradise Island, but it looks like he's not there anymore. Looking at that map, the most likely place he's gone is Castle-Vania, so if you could tell us what you know about the place, we'd appreciate it. What are the locals like? Can we convince them to help us search? That kinda stuff."

Luna Nova, Entrance: Welcome to Anime Hogwarts!

The three strangers to Luna Nova found their eyes focused on different things: the figure with the gun focused on the mythical creatures, silently crunching the numbers in its processor in a (failing) attempt to conceptualize just what it was looking at, and what the proper course of action should be; the girl in the school uniform turned her attention almost immediately to the three witches behind the gate, judging them up from a distance as potential targets.

Yet the third figure—the man in the stiff suit—didn't look at anyone at all. He lifted his head to look at the school, with its brick exterior and Gothic, near palatial design that would make even the Medieval Universities jealous. It did not fail to impress.

When one of the witches approached them, only the man in the suit seemed to give her his full attention.

"Why yes," he smiled politely, "you may. I am looking for the administrator of this school; a Dean, or I suppose a Grand Mistress. Someone who I can speak to about Battleworld as a whole, and how Luna Nova may protect itself."

Felicia & Talbain, Common Room

"Sorry to burst your bubble, but I don't think it would work out between us, Happy," Felicia attempted to let him off easy once Lucy finally interfered before talking to her. "Sounds like you are good people, though."

"I'll keep your group in mind if I need it," Felicia added before introducing herself and her companions. "I'm Felicia and this is Jon Talbain."

B.B. Hood, Common Room

Naturally, B.B. Hood was not happy with the living arrangements the Cure provided her and was in a particularly angry mood. Seeing Juvia yelling at the Cure's throne, B.B. Hood simply smirked, knowing exactly where this was going.

"Last time someone yelled at the Cure, they all got choked by him!" B.B. Hood stated as if she gave no shit about Juvia's safety. "Sorry, but your boyfriend back home if he's not with your group!"

Grant, DMC Office

"I wasn't involved with whatever Lady was doing," Grant shrugged to Dante. "Ikebukuro had this crashed spaceship from the Empire attack that they wanted Little Nagi to repair, and I kept her safe while Lady did her thing."

"The girl's a technological savant," Grant added, actually impressed with how skilled Nagi was.

Alucard & Lisa, Castlevania Coastline

Lisa simply waved to Balthier. Ignoring Balthier's flirting, Alucard tossed a bag with the second half of the payment that these two were promised to Fran.

"That should be the rest of your payment, but..." Alucard pulled out another bag of gold coins to show to Balthier and Fran. "If you can take her and me to another chunk with your ship and vow to say nothing about it, this payment could also be yours."

Lisa looked confused at Alucard as if she wasn't told this would happen.

"Father has kept you cooped up in either the castle or the Common Room, and I feel you would enjoy visiting the other human lands that have been brought to Battleworld," Alucard explained to his mother. "We shall be back by the end of the day."

"I really wanted to go to the wedding in Genosha," Lisa sounded disappointed at not being able to go to the wedding, but her question was answered satisfactory.

Common Room - Day 4 End

“Eh…” Kyoko stretched and did her best to fake a yawn. There was only so much making-nice-with-strangers-you’re-hitting-up-for-stuff she was up for, especially after her little run with trouble in Tokyo. “Let’s just say I don’t want to be in it for now,” she replied to Robin, throwing in a glance towards where Misaki had been seen last. Left unsaid whether she would be willing to broach the subject in the morning - left obscured entirely was how much Kyoko would want to talk about just what kind of world Mitakihara really was.

But at least she could buy a night to figure that out.

Titan’s Tower Annex - Day 5 Begin

Kyoko woke with a start, her head darting around in the dark at the unfamiliar shapes surrounding her until she remembered where she was. Right...HGT, Lee, April, the gigantic demonic guy in the throne room, annoying orange girl. All that after what Akemi told her about the previous night. She allowed herself a very quiet sigh before letting the silence settle once more. What was she doing here, exactly, other than “avoiding people that would have cause to try to blast holes in her”? (Not that that would be as much of a hindrance as it would if she were a normal human girl, but given her situation it wouldn’t be wise to throw it around willy-nilly.)

Kyoko got to her feet, using a long practiced stride to stay close to silent as she moved for the door. She had managed to deflect the Titans’ questions about her origin last night, but the perky one would probably try to ask again and Kyoko still wasn’t sure she wanted to say anything. Maybe it would be easier to just slip back out to the Common Room and take her chances somewhere else.

Assuming there wasn’t a Titan already blocking her way.

Homura’s Apartment

Just because it had been happening several times a day for the past five days didn’t mean Homura hadn’t become any less annoyed every time The Cure spoke directly to her mind, especially when it replaced her normal clock alarm. Only the fact that telepathy was one of the common powers a Magical Girl gained upon becoming one and the fact that it was her fastest source of information about happenings beyond Mitakihara tempered her irritation. (That The Cure had demonstrated these past few days the general futility of open opposition didn’t temper her irritation so much as give her a reason to swallow it down.)

Another wish, then. Back up to two again, meaning one was available for her to use. But what, though? She could now ask for that replenishment of arms that she couldn’t get via this means two days ago when the city was restored. A supply of Grief Seeds is a possibility as well - Madoka had told her about a new Witch that Sayaka Miki and Mami Tomoe were able to take care of at the pizza parlor yesterday, but Witches were always a hazard in making sure their Soul Gems remained clean. And then there’s last night’s meeting…

On a whim, Homura picked up the remote and turned on the small TV, needing something to break the silence of her apartment as she pondered her next move. She hadn’t been expecting a whole lot - she knew only a few channels had anything other than white noise and static, and even with some of the surrounding chunks happening to have compatible broadcast systems they had mainly been some variant of “Please Stand By”. So Homura wasn’t expecting to flip to a channel that not only had something being broadcast, but something that didn’t look familiar to her: ’’“...one where we must make a choice not just for the betterment of our city's citizens, but for the betterment of humanity itself.”’’ Homura’s ponderings would be put on hold for the moment as she watched the press conference by Misaki, all the way to its conclusion.

...Well, maybe now at least the Mayor would think twice about revealing their secrets.

City Hall

Kurogane flipped the TV switch off once Misaki declared the conference over, though he continued to look at the now-darkened screen. Eventually, one of the aides would gather the courage to speak: “Sir?”

“Hm?”

“Was there anything else you needed right now?”

“...No. My meeting with the Captain is at 10:30, correct?”

“Yes, sir.”

“Very well, I’ll be in my office.” With a chorus of nods, Kurogane left the assembly room and walked back to his little sanctuary. Well, that had taken quite a turn thanks to Nishijima. It had been quite a few days since they had talked - perhaps it was time to touch base. Once he reached the office and locked the door behind him, he would retrieve a business card from his wallet and, using his personal cell phone, dial the number listed. “Yes, I’m looking for Kobayashi.”

DiMA, Common Room

DiMA placed a metallic hand on his chin, in response to Ceri's blunt observation.

"I have stuff on me? Like mud? Dirt?" He asked.

DiMA took a second to process what Ceri really meant. "Oh, you mean my memory access apparatus. I've been told it looks quite gruesome, but I assure you it works perfectly..."

DiMA clenched and clenched his hands, trying to think of a way to explain his physique to a stranger (who didn't look technologically inclined).

"I'm what they call a 'synth', or an android. I've been alive for over a century, and I'm afraid my earlier memories just couldn't remain intact without extensive modification, and even now, I might be reaching the limit of what my internal power source can handle. It was the best I could manage with the technology I had available. I hope my appearance doesn't frighten you."

The synth took another glance around the Common Room, still looking a little nervous. Well, nobody had raised a gun at him, or ran away from him on sight, so the coast looked clear for now.

Flashback Underground Toriel's Place

"Well... I didn't exactly kidnap him... more like helped him sneak out of the place so he could enjoy the sights without being stifled by all the ever present bodyguards and trackers." Ruefully smiling and rubbing the back of his head, Astolfo turned on over to Larsa with a sheepish grin.

"I can't help but want to heed other people's requests though I might have overdone it... though I would have returned him whenever he wanted to go home!" Waving off the whole thing with his usual good cheer despite people being wary and going for their weapons should he do something wrong, the good-natured Servant apologized right on the spot with the sort of tension deflating hax that he was known for.

Also the explanation would have probably reminded mama goat of the very reason that killed off her own children, biological and adopted should things be particularly unlucky via the whole naughty children sneaking out alone into a new place logic.

Day 5

After Day 4 had wrapped up and the members of Chaldea said their farewells to other chunk representatives had retracted back into their supervillain-esque Arctic lair to tell stories of their escapades or complain about how things have turned out, Ritsuka and Mash retired into their respective rooms for the night due to being humans and needing actual sleep and whatnot.

The rest of the Servants meanwhile continued their various schemes and plot late into the night, getting into fistfights with each other over small things and doing really weird arguments up until the wee hours before deciding to agree for a rather eccentric wish to test out the Cure's seemingly too good to be true no-strings-attached caveat.

DMC Office

Showing up right in front of DMC Office with their usual vim and vigor (or rather in Nobu's case given that Okita had just coughed up a lungful of blood along the way and was swaying around with a paler than normal face), the authoritative Demon King knocked vigorously on the door while waiting for the inhabitants to respond. They had definitely gotten her attention via the business card and the explanation that there was a modern arms dealer with a buttload of guns lying around wanting to do business so the gun nut that terrorized the Sengoku Era was definitely interested in making a deal.

Humming the Guda Guda theme song under her breath with a half conked out Sakura Saber draped over her shoulders, the tiny dictator looked like she was ready for some fun given she had come by with another wagon of golden skulls in tow. "Oh man, can you believe that we'll be able to lay our hands on a gatling gun if we're lucky?! And without needing to go through the pesky process of obtaining a gun license too! The illegal side of doing things definitely has its allure don't you think?"

The incessant blathering and jostling that Demon King Nobunaga was giving to her unfortunate passenger only served to agitate the ill-feeling Saber even more as her face looked like she was on the verge of spilling her inner contents once more while her eyes turned dull and glassy from the sheer agitation that was being done to her defenseless body at the moment. Truly they were the best of friends even as Nobu brought her into the room like a sack of rice. "Yo, I'm here cause I got a business card and wanna do some business!"

Common Room

"Are we really doing this, senpai? The wish in itself seems to be... very eccentric... should we not wish for something else as an attempt to see if things would pan out as the entity known as the Cure says?" A worried looking eggplant with glasses asked the redheaded representative of Chaldea as she hovered behind the 48th Master, Mash Kyrielight making up for lost time by clinging to Ritsuka's general area due to the fact she had been left behind on Day 4 despite being the most loyal Shielder.

"It's because of that very reason that we're using it as a litmus test and a sacrificial lion to test the waters. It's harmless enough to not overly impact Chaldea's workings and there's a suitable escape clause that allows for the effects to not be permanent." Calming down the rather nervous kouhai with a gentle pat on the head, the much more calm Ritsuka couldn't help but sigh at what sort of responsibility had been hoisted her way. Verily, being a Master of such troublesome Servants had its downsides.

"But..." Being given a steady and calming stare from the person she trusted the most in the facility, the demi-Servant felt herself relaxing ever so slightly and quieting down. Though she was still full of reservations at the potential waste of a wish, she knew that it was better to be safe than sorry when it comes to such things, especially if one were to poorly word things out. Much experience was given in the retrievals of the Holy Grails so they were something of veteran specialists in that field at least and thus the caution being given was an effect of coming out of those situations that resulted in the warping of human history.

Seeing that the throne in question was currently empty, the Shielder turned her attention to Ritsuka who... had pretty much curled up in a nearby corner of the room to enter a state of slumber while she waited for things to happen. "S-senpai, please don't use your skill to fall unconscious anywhere and anytime in such a place! It's a public area even with the anti-harm field on display!" Mash Kyrielight was once more stumped by the laidback Master's seemingly lackadaisical nature.

Still, knowing full well how tired and haunted her Master's dreams were of often, the eggplant bit her lips before simply standing guard over the sleeping frame with exasperated devotion. "Only this once, Master." And thus the sleep deprived teen was allowed her brief moment of respite in this world of battles while her ever faithful junior that she held ironclad trust in protected her from anything and everything but especially keeping an eye out for the obviously armed newcomers that had been brought into the area.

Ryuji/Ann-Common Room

Meanwhile, as everyone started filing into the Common Room, two teenagers quietly took a seat over at their set of chairs at the table.

"Jesh, look at all of this. Robots, foxes, a purple skinned elf looking chick-"

"Ryuji!"

"What? I'm calling it like I see it."

Ann groaned, then noticed something.

"Hey, look at the map. One of the places that were there yesterday moved."

"What? You're seeing things."

"No, I'm serious, look at the map! That Manhattan place moved to the other side of the planet. And now the rep is some guy named "Spider-Man""

"Oh. Huh. Weird. Never heard of it."

"I think it's some place in the United States. Don't remember where."

"Oh. Sure. Totally."

"Don't pretend you have any more of an idea then I do, Mr "California is the capital of America!""

"It should be!"

Ann gave him a very annoyed look.

DMC Office

The door to the office was answered by Trish.

"Oh, business? Sure, come on in."

She stepped aside and let the two in, interrupting whatever Dante was going to say to Grant.

"Oh, new clients? Hey, what's going on? So, got a demon problem you need dealt with?"

Ceri - Common Room

"Oh, okay," Ceri said to DiMA, not really understanding. "I'm not scared, you just look... I mean, nevermind! It's all okay!"

She shook her head to clear her thoughts. She could do this. She knew stuff.

"Those look like they're from space. Are you a com-puter?" she asked the Synth. "Hiriko taught me about those. They are people who live in grates, like AI. But I've never seen one leave their vent before."

Common Room - Talkin' To The Talbains

"Felicia, Jon, good. You seem like reasonable people. I'm Lucy," Lucy greeted the Darkstalkers Duo, nodding quickly. "Just please don't hold anything Happy says or does against us."

She glanced over, only to see Happy winking their way.

"Please..." Lucy repeated. "He's harmless. I'm sure we can get along just fine if you ignore him...."

She glanced over at Juvia shouting.

"And maybe ignore her...."

Also Common Room

"...and then you'll pay!" Juvia continued to shout at the empty throne. "No one who ever separates Juvia from her beloved Gray ever succeeds! Juvia will escape from this place yet so that she can be reunited...."

Honestly it seemed like she was just repeating the same thing over and over again, but slightly changing the phrasing with each iteration.

RWBYJNPR - Because I Need To Get Something Out, And The Mid-Timeskip Stuff Is Taking Way Too Much Time; Common Room

Are you sure we should be leaving Maki behind?Nora asked as the octet filed out of their Dorm Room and down the Commons Corridor, squeezing to the side to let a sports car pass.

We can’t take him to confront Amber, you said so yourself.Jaune replied.

You could, however, stay behind and wait until he wakes.Ren supplied.

..would you guys mind?

We’ll be fine, Nora. Go.Pyrrha answered, after which Nora turned around and headed back to the Dorm Room to wait for Maki to wake.

Not too long after she left, however, did the other short girl with a massive weapon in the group speak up.

Hey, guys? The guy holding Amber’s called Batman, right?Ruby asked, confusion in her voice.

Yeah.

Which room is his?

That-” Jaune paused, as he realized the door he was pointing at no longer existed. After the seven teens shared a glance with each other, they quickened their pace, rushing into the Common Room.

It was Pyrrha who spotted Amber first, putting a hand on her partner’s arm, and nodding towards her. With a subsequent nod from RWBY, the three remaining members of Team JNPR broke off towards the group of Contractors, while the four girls of Team RWBY headed towards the Cure’s throne.

I don’t get why he leaves this thing empty at night.Yang ran her still totally human right hand along one of the sides. “You said he spoke into your head a few minutes ago, right Ruby?

Yup. Told me the names of the new places and groups. I guess that new Manhattan place is different to the one we had yesterday.” Ruby glanced at the map, giving visuals to the names she’d heard.

If he’s awake and he’s doing stuff, then why isn’t he here?

Perhaps it’s similar to composing a work email while eating breakfast?Weiss supplied.

Guy needs a healthier work-life balance.

Should we really be giving our kidnapper lifestyle tips?Blake asked, rolling her eyes at the current conversation.

JPR - The Rollercoaster of Opinion Has Ended, It’s Destination: Anger; Common Room, Contractor Gathering

Meanwhile, the three remaining members of JNPR were beeling towards Amber, and it would be readily apparent that they were quite angry.

Well, it would be apparent that Jaune was angry. Pyrrha was quite composed, and Ren was his usual stoic self.

Hey, Amber” Jaune called out to the young-looking woman as the trio came within speaking distance, his voice noticeably strained. “We were looking for you. Pyrrha asked you a question last night and you never got around to answering it.

I was wondering what you knew of the Mikata Documents.” Pyrrha said, maintaining an air of distant politeness.

And whether you were responsible for sending them back in time, using your powers.” Ren finished, his voice unwavering.

While they were being quite polite, it would be pretty obvious that they believed they knew the answer to the question already.

Sypha, Lady's Office

"I think I could give you a list, but our entire group was able to dominate, at least until Nyarlathotep trapped us with an infinite army of Shadows," Sypha explained to Lady when she asked about the City 17 group. "The representatives chosen from Sol Badguy's Gears, Hazama Hanoka's NOL, and Ritsuka's Chaldea all fought admirably, but if I had to choose a single group to talk to, it would be Ruby Rose's Huntresses and Huntsmen who, while young, are skilled and powerful warriors trained to fight in groups."

"The biggest issue Ruby's group might have is that they may not be willing to hunt down a person to murder them," Sypha continued her explanation. "While they will kill in the heat of battle and Yang did let Wei die, she was betrayed by him and he refused any help she offered to him, threatening to try to attack her with his acid power if she tried."

"What they hunt is Grimm, which are monsters drawn to negative emotions that attack humans," Sypha seemed more pensive when talking about what she knew of the Grimm. "I do not think human-form Grimm exist so they have no real reference on what to do in regards to someone like Vergil."

Manhattan, East Midtown Rooftop

Greetings. All questions you have shall be addressed there.

...Huh.

Spider-Man glanced up from the paper he had suddenly found in hand after his unexpected doze — I mean, I know my sleep schedule is messed up, but not that messed up... — just in time for a vivid blue vortex to open up right before his eyes. Seeing is believing, I guess. Quite a bit more sure that he wasn't just the victim of some kind of elaborate prank, the webslinger folded the paper, stuck it in his utility belt, and returned his attention to the matter that had been his focus before all of this nonsense of notes and portals.

"What the hell do you think you're doing, sleepin' on the job?! We're on a deadline, here!"

"Don't give me that shit, you fell asleep too!"

"The hell I did!"

"Yeah, and you were snorin' too! So much for a lookout!"

"Oh yeah?! Why don't you come over here and try sayin' that again!"

"Uhhh, I think we was all sleepin', boss," another, more timid voice piped up "Ain't nobody's fault, I guess."

"You guess? Alright, wise guy, then what the hell made us all fall asleep at once?"

"I dunno, maybe uhhhhh, a magic spell?"

"A magic spell? That's your best guess? For the love of— you know what, forget it. You, I want that door opened yesterday!"

"Yeah, yeah, already on it."

"What was that?"

"Uh, guys...?"

"I said I'm on it!"

"I am the boss! You will address me with respect, you scum-sucking son of a—"

"GUYS!"

"What the fuck do you want, Joey?! You're ruinin' my show of authority here!"

Thwip!

"It's Spid—BLUH!"

Thug Three, AKA Joey, went down in a single, devastating hit as the webslinger's feet collided with his face and knocked his block off. "Hey there, fellas!" the hero in red, white, and blue greeted the remaining three thugs with a wave, "Y'know, usually when I forget my keys, this isn't the way I get back into my apartment. Maybe you could try phoning a friend, or—"

"SPIDER-MAN! GET HIM!"

"Or we could do this the hard way, whatever works." As the would-be burglars put 'em up and charged in, the webhead burst into action, artfully roundhousing out of the way of the first punch that his sixth sense had seen coming a mile away and ducking under the hoodlum's guard for a counter-blow.

WHAM!

He followed it up with a slug across the guy's nose, and was about to finish with a kick to send him flying when something whistled sharply through the air to slam into the back of his head, and the world went briefly white.

"Ha ha, I got the Spider good!" the thug with the crowbar cheered, "Howsabout some more?!"

Though still reeling a little from the pain, Spider-Man did retain enough of his wits to drop to the rooftop on his palms and flail his legs backwards in a powerful kick — that was promptly blocked by the crowbar. Springing to his feet, he quickly spun around to face his attacker, seeing that the ne'er-do-well held his weapon in a defensive position with both hands. Well, that was no obstacle to Spider-Man, who whirlled under his arms and sprang up in an uppercut that sent the thug flying skyward. Leaping into the air himself, our hero began to lay a beatdown on the stunned thug while he was still airborne!

"Shit, shit! He's in the air, whatdda we do?!"

"Shoot him, you idiot!"

"...Oh yeah. Eat lead, Spider!"

Allowing his prey to drop back to the surface of the roof, Spider-Man turned just in time to see Thug Four aiming his pistol with surprisingly good accuracy at his center of mass. Spidey's Spider-Sense went mad! Could this be the end for our hero?!

Of course not! With a thwip! and a slight tug, the costumed crusader pulled himself out of the way just as the report rang out, the bullet soaring harmlessly over his head. Another shot from his web-shooters and a pull saw the clogged peashooter clattering away from the thug while the now weaponless man looked down at his hand in disbelief. Then he looked up, and saw the webslinger pointing his hand right at him.

Thwip!

"Oh no..."

"Oh yes!"

With a forceful pull of the elastic web, Spider-Man sped across the space between them and laid a fist directly into the thug's jaw, following it up with full on body-blows that crumpled his opponent to the rooftop. So satisfying was this punchfest that he almost didn't notice the last thug dashing toward him at ramming speed, except for the deep guttural yell that accompanied the charge. Diving blindly to the side, Spidey leapt into a handspring and twirled around in a somersault to face the supposed 'boss' of the criminals head-on.

"You made a fool of my men, you made a fool of my operation... NOBODY MAKES A FOOL OF ME, YOU HEAR ME?!"

"Didn't need any help in that department!"

"RRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHH!" Snorting like a bull, the ringleader bent shoulder and charged right for our hero, moving with impressive speed! But...

Phwap-phwap-phwap!

Some more concentrated shots from Spidey's web-shooters stopped him in his tracks, the boss suddenly finding his arms webbed to his sides and his legs webbed to each other! He struggled uselessly against the adhesive material!

"NNNNNGGGGHHH! Why you...! Fight like a man!"

"I'll stick with this way, thanks." With a single kick, the webhead sent the boss of the thugs flying into the wall of the very rooftop access they had been attempting to break into, sticking him there, where he continued to writhe in vain.

Our hero dusted his hands off and gave himself a pat on the back, but then his mind turned to more ominous matters. "Why didn't my Spider-Sense warn me about those two attacks...? Normally I could dance circles around this many guys without even getting hit. Hmm. Maybe it has something to do with the entirety of Queens and Brooklyn being gone? What a day this is shaping up to be... Well, better call Yuri to come pick these guys up, before I forget."

Unsurprisingly, he got her voicemail. It only made sense with the entire Eastern half of the city outside of The City vanishing. Police were probably in crisis mode already. Or, maybe Yuri just hadn't woken up from her mid-morning nap yet. In any case, there were mysterious blue lights to investigate...

Common Room

The first thing that came through the Manhattan portal was a single, red-white-and-blue clad hand, which groped and waved around wildly before shortly thereafter being followed by an arm, and then a rest-of-the-body. Spider-Man edged into the Common Room like a man-spider on edge. After the atmosphere seemed to prove that he wasn't in any immediate danger, he eased up a little, and began glancing this way and that. Inevitably, his gaze was drawn to the huge, spinning globe in the center of the room labelled "BATTLEWORLD". Scanning it curiously, he made a cursory note of the map's contents, at least until he got to the northeast corner and saw "Manhattan" with a "Spider-Man" written underneath it.

The webhead began to get a sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach as he surveyed the other people in the room. Ultimately unable to decide just who to start inquiring and lodging his complaint with, he squared his shoulders, moseyed on over to the table, and opened with a classic for the room at large.

"Soooooo... I'm guessing this isn't the greatest of all inter-dimensional costume parties? I know tonight is Halloween, but the partying doesn't usually get started until at least sundown."

The Cure-Common Room

Suddenly, The Cure appeared in his throne. In it sat a giant of a man, standing at about 20 feet tall, with blood red skin covering his body apart from bits that were covered in leather bindings. He turned to the newcomers with his pure black eyes, and smiled, revealing his rotting teeth. Before she could so much as breath another word, Juvia would find an invisible force choking her, silencing her and preventing her from continuing to breath. The man in the throne paid no attention to this as he spoke.

"Ah, and the last of our newcomers have arrived. Welcome to the Battleworld. This planet, a world of my own creation, is a world which I have forged by taking bits and pieces of other universes and putting them together into one mass. No doubt you have questions. Let me get the obvious ones out of the way."

"Among you, there are two groups. Some of you have been brought here along with a city or some other piece of land. You and your people are here to do battle with each other, for my own personal amusement. However, you are free to forge alliances as you will. Ally with who you wish, it matters not to me. I have brought a diverse group of lands to this planet. Each in their own way different from anything you may be familar with on your own worlds, each with their own set of standards, ethics, goals....whatever your wish, you will come into conflict at some point. Whenever you choose to be the aggressor, or the defender, that is up to you."

"But there are others. Some who have not been brought here with their own land. Powerful groups of individuals, each with their own unique skillsets. You are here to, as I like to say, be the wild card. Spice things up, keep it interesting. You may do as you wish on my Battleworld. The only demands I make of you are that you remain active in some way, shape, or form."

"Naturally, your next question, why should you play along, apart from the obvious response of the fact that I could kill anyone on this planet with the snap of my fingers? At various intervals, I will offer rewards to those who play along with my game. What this reward is, that is completely up to you. Bring the dead back to life, no strings attached? A new power for you or a loyal subordinate? Equipment? The possibilities are endless, I have the power to grant you anything."

"That said, I place a firm value on balance. It would not do for any one faction to become too powerful. There is no fun in watching a one sided curb stomp battle as one land wipes out the rest with no opposition. Thus, I reserve the right to refuse any request should I deem it too powerful or otherwise feel it would not be appropriate. In that same way, a select number of you may find that particular powers or equipment of yours function differently, typically having been reduced in power in some way. This is also due to my personal balancing, and is not up for any form of negotiation."

"Now, I open the floor to questions."

"Eh, she's fine. She's just cursed with an incurable illness due to the fact her legend was best remembered as a genius swordsman that got burdened by tuberculosis. She's a Servant so she'll be fine eventually, though we constantly have to roll a Luck Check every now and then due to the way her Skill works... and if we fail, then this happens." Explaining things while putting Okita on a nearby sofa where the currently weakened woman was groaning like the living dead, Nobunaga straightened up while picking up a golden skull.

"Also nah, Chaldea's stock of Demon Hearts is still pretty high. I just came around these parts cause Nero handed me a business card for Lady since she apparently has a lot of ordinance lying around and I wanna buy some guns and stuff. I can summon a bunch myself but they're all matchlocks from the 1500's so I wanna enjoy some modern fare if possible." Demonstrating by poofing an antiquated rifle into existence, Nobu looked somewhat exasperated at how old her stuff was. "Anyways I hope you guys have some gatling guns on hand, that's always been my romance right there!"
