Did you read my proposed comprmise at the top of page 2, just under your last post? Adressed it there.

Anyway, I'll be honest, I think you may wanna go with a diffrent idea. Since you say you have a backup, you can try them. If I may ask before you go and type out a long signup, who is your backup?

  • Main Character

    • Name: Henry Cooldown
    • Age: 30
    • Appearance:Sir Henry Motherfucker
    • Personality: Henry is cool, calm, and collected. While he can come off as professional and even gentlemanly, he is a bit of a cheeky bastard and readily admits he and his brother are more similar then readily apparent. He also enjoys a good fight. He is quite prideful and is much less willing to engage in activities that seem unbecoming. He doesn't care to be the center of attention and prefers the benefits of anonymity. Speaks with an Irish accent.
    • Powers: Henry is an expert swordsman using a refined sword style. He is quite quick on his feet and uses a number of dashes, flips, and somersaults to stay mobile while fighting. He seems to be stronger than an average human and can leap to impossible heights, as demonstrated here. Whether an ability of his or simply a feature of his beam katana, Henry can summon up to five energy orbs then fire them at his enemy for a long range attack. Has the ability to block bullets with his beam katana (Feel like I should place some strict guidelines on this for the sake of game play. So, single enemy, must have line of sight. Can block up to automatic fire. With semi automatic fire he can still move, but automatic fire locks him in place since he has to completely focus on the task. Buck shot and the like by pass defense for obvious reasons. A gun of exceptional fire rate, like a minigun, can also over whelm defense. High powered shots like one of an anti material rifle can be blocked, but puts him on his ass and leaves him vulnerable. Particular skilled gunman can also try to use their skill to get around defense, like feigning when they are going to shoot or ricocheting a shot.)
    • Equipment:Cross Sword, Henry's signature beam katana.
    • Backstory: Henry is Travis' twin brother separated at birth. He was raised in Ireland and became an assassin himself. During his career he met Sylvia and the two eventually married and even had a kid, a little girl named Jeane. Even after the birth of his child, Henry kept on with his work as a professional killer. Sylvia, wanting more money or perhaps simply preferring the life style, found work as a UAA agent and something of a con artist. She would at times disappear into her work with little or no contact with her family. Henry tried to keep a tab on her and while he never joined the UAA properly himself, he would pick and choose fights with assassins that interested him. A few years ago he became interested in an assassin quickly rising through the ranks, who turned out to be none other then his own twin brother, Travis Touchdown. The two fought to a stand still with no clear victor before being stopped by Sylvia. Henry looks forward to the day he and his brother can finally finish their duel. The years since then, Sylvia and Henry's marriage strained and the two got a divorce. After being years away from the place, Henry now finds himself once again in Santa Destroy.

  • Supporting Cast

    • Name: Shinobu
    • Age: 21
    • Appearance: What does moe mean?
    • Personality: Shinobu has calmed down alot since her teenage years. She no longer feels like she has something to prove and is not so quick to jump to conclusions. She has also completely given up on trying to keep a normal facade and has fully embraced her assassin persona. She is alot more confident now to the point of being cocky. She is arrogant enough to not show much respect towards her enemies and will often taunt them, though its possible she may change her tune if she meets a worthy foe. Many of her previous mannerisms remain including her old school samurai outlook. She has developed a hero worship, and even a crush, on Travis since they last met. She tries to imitate him in small ways and has even tried to get into otaku culture with varying degrees of success.
    • Powers: Basically, Shinobu is a ninja. She is fast and agile as well as an expert fighter with her katana. Is able to perform a special technique called Gentoken, which she can send out in bursts after gathering a bit of her ki. Is able to block bullets with her katana (same restrictions as Henry).
    • Equipment:Three Girl Rhumba's Sword, Shinobu's signature Katana. Her right hand is a robotic prosthetic.
    • Backstory: Shinobu was the UAA's previous rank 8. She joined the UAA to try to avenge her father and to show the superiority of the father's sword style. She had thought she found her father's killer when she met Travis, but ended up losing her match against him. After cutting off her right hand, Travis revealed he was not the killer then spared her life. UAA rulings state that an assassin must die at the end of the match, as a result Shinobu was forced to flee the country, but not before she paid Travis back for sparing her. The years since, Shinobu has been honing her skills and is now considered the top assassin in the asian front. With rumors of the return of the crownless king and a job offer to help him, Shinobu returns to Santa Destroy. She never was able to find her father's killer and is still searching for him this day.

    • Name: Alice Twilight
    • Age: ???
    • Appearance: Promise me you won't forget there once was an assassin named Alice.
    • Personality: Alice is introspective, contemplative, and philosophical. She comes off calm and a bit distant as she tries to do away with worldly emotions. She is not emotionless however and be seen as kind, warm, and motherly at times. There is a deep rooted sorrow in the woman from the lost of her family. She despises the UAA and all the senseless violence as well as herself for what she has become in her attempt to put an end to the UAA. She is something of a death seeker, but desires to accomplish her goals before she goes. She has a warriors pride and even she is loathed to admit to enjoy a good fight.
    • Powers: Alice is an incredible warrior who uses a unique six beam katana style. She primarily uses the five main arms to overwhelm her opponent as well as grant herself a strong defense. The tail is around 10 feet long and can be used as a reach weapon as well as to catch opponents by surprise. It is strong enough to support her weight and she can use it to lift her self off the ground. She can throw the beam blades of the five arm katanas as projectiles and create new ones in their place. Despite the bulky equipment, she is an extremely agile warrior and will often chain rolls and flips in rapid succession to out maneuver her opponent. She is also prone to feinting in combat. Is able to block bullets. (feels like more katanas should block more, may up her to simply be able to remain mobile even with automatic fire, everything else the same)
    • Equipment:ASURA-6, a unique weapon consisting of five robotic arms and a large tail that each end with a beam katana.
    • Backstory: Alice is the 2nd rank of the UAA and perhaps strongest warrior it has. Alice tries to keep most of the details about her past secret, but certain things are known. She was once a happy wife and mother living an idyllic peaceful life with no need for violence. Then, her family was murdered. She forsake her pacifistic nature and made bringing down the UAA and the violent culture it perpetuates her goal in life. To do this, she entered the UAA so she could try to take out rank 1, Jasper Batt Jr. With him dead, she could start to dismantle the program from the inside out and finally put an end to all the pointless killings. To achieve this goal, she would have to be the best and has dedicated herself, mind, body, and soul to become just that. She has taken up an ascetic life style, with training and fighting all she does. She is close to achieving her goals now, only one more rank to go, but feels she has lost her way. She is sisters with Margaret Moonlight. While Alice still loves her sister, she is unsure how to feel about her as an assassin.

    • Name: Margaret Moonlight
    • Age: ???
    • Appearance:Reaper, Reaper, that's what people call me
    • Personality: Margaret comes off polite, well mannered, cultured, as well as a bit creepy. Like many assassins, she is a bit of a sociopath. The ranked fights and killing is something like a game to her, or perhaps a form of art. She feels little remorse for the ending of other people's lives or even the ending of her own. While she seems nice, she does tend to thoroughly insult her prey and give detailed explanations on why they are going to die, sometimes through song but always with a hint of a smile. She prides her self as a "pure" girl and has no romantic interest in boys. May flirt and tease them a little for fun though. Its possible she may have an eye for the fairer sex. Enjoys singing.
    • Powers: Margaret is a strong warrior who duel wields her unique weapon, Le croissant du ange, which can be used as either a pair of scythes or a pair of anti material rifles. She will often switch between something of a gun mode and a melee mode. As scythes they could be alittle unwieldy, but she makes up for it by incorporating them in to agile graceful movements. They have decent range and cover nice arcs. In gun mode she will often find a vantage point and snipe her targets which she is adept at. She will however also simply close the distance and fire the guns at close range. She seems capable of a limited degree of floating, as in she merely ignores gravity for a few seconds at a time. She also seems to have the supernatural ability to teleport which works by seeming to fade out existence then fade in else where. (Will have cool down, also takes a two or so seconds to fade out/fade in so is not an instant blink)
    • Equipment:Le croissant du ange, a pair of Barrett M82 anti material rifles heavily modified into scythes. They fire 12.7x99mm hollow point bullets.
    • Backstory: Margaret is rank 4 of the UAA. She has quite the legend surrounding her and is nick named the Goddess of Death. It is said anyone who hears her song is doomed to die. Stories as ridiculous as people being put into comas from merely hearing bits of the song from a mile has seen circulation. Her motivation for joining the UAA is a complete mystery, though she does seem to enjoy the work. She is sisters with Alice Twilight and loves her older sister dearly.

    • Name: Nathan Copeland
    • Age: ???
    • Appearance:DELIVERANCE!
    • Personality:Nathan is what happens when you combine a gangsta rapper with a deranged preacher. He is confident, charismatic, and tends to speak in a mystic/poetic way. While he indulges in its many vices, he hates the luxurious life he leads and finds little actual joy in it, finding it to be a gilded cage. However, the prospect of a worthy fight excites him to no end and will become down right giddy. He will embrace death in combat wholeheartedly and happy. Like many assassins, Nathan is a sociopath and cares little for his allies or even members of his sect. He will shrug off most happenstance as simply the will of the divine. He preaches and believes in violence as a way to enlightenment, putting your life on the line and engaging in a fight with your all as a way of killing off all false idols and embracing truth. Will fight dirty and take advantage of sucker punches, but believes honor merely gets in the way of a good fight. Loves music, rapping, and dancing and will probably throw them in where ever he can. Also speaks with an Irish accent.
    • Powers: Much of Nathan's abilities comes form his unique weapon, a shape shifting boom box. Primarily it is used as a sort of armored arm covering. In this state if gives him extended reach as well as super human strength, allowing him to pick up and fling a gown adult single handed and deliver devastating punches. The armor is quite thick and can be used to shield himself from attacks. Along the arms are speakers which are capable of delivering a short range sonic blast that can knock enemies back. In the boom box form he is capable firing two small rockets from the speakers (in the game he spams this move alot, do you want any restrictions placed on it?). The buttons can on the boom box can also be linked to remotely activate other objects, for example the traps in his hotel suite. Without his weapon he is still capable of fightingin a street fighting/ boxing way.
    • Equipment: Shapeshifting boombox. A unique weapon that shifts between a boom box and armored arm coverings. As a boom box it is capable of shooting twin rockets. As arm covering it gives armor, increased strength and reach, and is capable of doing a short range sonic blast that can knock back enemies. It also plays music.
    • Backstory: Nathan is rank 50 in the UAA. He is a famous rapper and even owns his own record label. The lyrics and message of violence in his music seemed to have had a profound effect on people, especially those feeling lost in life, and a pseudo christian cult dedicated to violence has built up around him. The mafia seeing this as a potential recruiting grounds, has partnered up with Nathan. Many of his flock go on to fill the ranks of the mafia, and the mafia gives him large amounts of money and a high rank in the organization. Nathan cares little for them, or anything else for that matter, merely biding his time til he can find his personal deliverance. Despite his low rank in the UAA, Nathan is still a strong contender.

    • Name: Skelter Helter
    • Age: ???
    • Appearance:This is the ultimate vengeance!
    • Personality: Vincent was once a mild mannered and soft spoken young man who despised violence. The death of his brother changed all that. He has become unhinged and a bit psycho, vengeance and hate fueling his action now. Skelter Helter, as he is known now, is unlike most assassins as he is not an out right sociopath. Simply his anger and need for vengeance out weighs any regret he has for victims in his way. He doesn't care for killing just to kill, but will eagerly accepts fights if he thinks winning them give himself and his brother more honor and renown. He is hot blooded, quick to anger, and actually quite emotional, especially when his brother is concerned. While looking ,and perhaps acting, like nothing but a punk, he is actually well educated. Will sometimes pepper his actions with dramatic flair and poetic.
    • Powers: Skelter Helter weild both his weapons at the same time, his large beam katana in his right hand and his custom revolver in the left. He is quite skilled with both weapons, but excel at neither, placing him somewhere in the jack of trades/master of none area. The same goes for all other areas of combat, strength, agility, speed, all good, none great. While he excels in no particular area, he has no strong weak points and can use his varied skill set to exploit another's short comings while protecting his own. Can block bullets with his beam katana (due to size of blade, which would make it unwieldy, and lack of skill, I will debuff him to semi automatic shots only)
    • Equipment: A modified revolver containing 12 rotating chambers that allow for 72 shots before reloading. A large beam katana with three parallel blades that reach a height almost equal to his own.
    • Backstory:Vincent is the younger brother of the UAA's previous rank 11, Helter Skelter. While both his mother and Helter Skelter him self was an assassin, Vincent's older brother did not want him to fallow in their shoes. In fact, Helter Skelter thought assassins as the scum of the earth and made Vincent promise never to become one. Helter Skelter himself seemed to only be in the business because it was something he was good at, and it allowed him to care for his younger brother and put him through college. He was quite proud of what his younger brother could achieve through his educations and held high hopes for his future. The two had a tradition of meeting every year at a certain bar. The two would catch up, Vincent's older brother would hand him a large amount of cash, then he would disappear, engrossing himself in his work. A few years back, Vincent's brother didn't make it to the meeting. He was delayed by a contract set on the same day and was beheaded by his opponent, Travis Touchdown. Vincent was devastated by this. When a UAA representative offered him vengeance by becoming UAA assassin himself, he accepted. He adopted the pseudonym Skelter Helter in honor of his brother and has spent the years since honing his skills for the fateful day he could finally enact his vengeance. He has become allies with Jasper Batt Jr since both share a desire to kill the same man. He is rank 51.

    • Name: Cloe Walsh
    • Age: ???
    • Appearance: Show me your face twisted in pain
    • Personality:Sadistic, masochistic, and more then a fair bit creepy, Cloe is a complete and utter psychopath. Her sole raison d'etre is pain, whether someone else's or her own. She doesn't care about having a good fight, doesn't care for any long reaching goals, she doesn't even care if she likes the person she is torturing, all she cares about is making people suffer. She is quite friendly if in a creepy overly so way, having no sense for personal space. She also speaks in a sultry Romanian accent and has many seductive mannerisms. However you would be hard pressed to find some one who would welcome her advances as she openly talks about all her malicious intentions. If something or someone isn't actively catching her interest, she will go into a near catatonic state, ignoring everything around her til something once again catches her eye.
    • Powers: Unlike many of the assassins in Santa Destroy, all of Cloe's abilities seem to be supernatural. She is able to produce a banshee like wail which damages and knock backs enemies in her immediate area. This ability also seems to have some strange paranormal effects on a long range, like causing all bird within miles of her prison to commit suicide (Not sure of the practical effects of that, psychological warfare? I'll let other chunk decide what her screams do in a long range, if it does anything at all). She is able to produce poisonous gas (from her hand apparently), which will weaken her enemies to the point of paralysis (the poison gas are a noticeable green and tends to stick in thick clouds rather then spread through out a room. As a result, they can be seen and avoided. Does have decent range and does hang in the air for a bit though. The poison is fairly fast acting and the infected would find their strength leaving them almost immediately, stumbling to the ground after a few seconds before feeling helpless. On the other hand it passes through the system quickly, so the infected who gets out of the gas will find himself feeling back to normal after a few seconds of not breathing the stuff. Its also a gas, so things such as gas masks or being inorganic makes you immune). She has acidic saliva, the kiss of death is a favorite of hers. She can shoot unholy beams from her eyes. She also can summon forth shadowy aberrations which crawl along the floor to attack her foes. Seems to be unnaturally resilient (Actually, infamously has the lowest health pool in the game haha. But she begins the match after being impaled with no real impediment (or maybe that why her health is so low...), most other assassin matches end when that happens. Also, playing a masochist who can take the pain is more fun)
    • Equipment: None, perhaps bondage equipment.
    • Backstory: Cloe is rank 23rd in the UAA. Much of this woman is a complete mystery. What is known is that she is being held as a prisoner in a island prison with the strictest security. Her screams can be heard for miles and many think the place is haunted. But perhaps all you really need to know is that this woman is a sadistic psychopath who will slowly and gleefully kill you if you give her half the opportunity.

    • Name: Jeane
    • Age: 25
    • Appearance: We're both in the same business, after all. And I've had enough.
    • Personality: Jeane is a deeply disturbed individual from the life she lived. She carries herself in a calm, collected, and confident manner. She treats killing as a matter of course and shows no remorse. However, under the surface, Jeane is terrified of dying and is weary of life as a killer. Coming back from the dead has left her a little more unhinged.
    • Powers: Jeane is a powerful MMA fighter displaying inhuman feats of strength and speed, being able pierce through the human body with a punch and perform something of a Flash Step. Her inhuman reflexes mixed with her speed gives her incredible dodging abilities. (Because her abilities consist of flash stepping and basically ghosting, here is a preemptive attempt to balance. Her speed leaves a motion blur, so others can follow her movements. While she will use it to constantly weave in and out of battle and to keep changing her position to throw off enemies, there will be a second after each movement for her to get her bearings, thus giving her enemy time to react and preventing hitting right after a flash step. Her dodging abilities will basically work like Henry's bullet blocking, though perhaps with melee weapons too since she can't really block out side a blade catch. Her jabs while hitting hard, will still be punches. Taking a cue from the game, when she is putting enough force into a punch that it will tear trough bone and flesh, her body will glow with a battle aura letting the enemy know what's up and giving them time to react. She could combine her speed and strength into a series of three charging attacks, but to do this she has to gather ki, in other words stand still vulnerable for a number of seconds as her battle aura shows.)
    • Equipment: None, MMA gear perhaps.
    • Backstory: Jeane is the illegitimate child of Travis' father and another woman, thus making her Travis', and by extension Henry's, half sister. Jeane's mother, unable to cope with being the other woman, killed her self. With no where to go, she had to rely on their mutual father. The two had a small apartment together and life was miserable. He abused her constantly and in many different ways. Hating the man with every ounce of her being, Jeane sought to become a killer so she can have her revenge. Paying by any means possible, she was able to get the training she needed and eventual was carry out her vengeance, killing the man and his wife in front of their son, Travis. She disappeared after that until a fateful encounter years later. Her actions had turned Travis into a blood thirsty assassin seeking vengeance. The two clashed, Jeane won. It was only through the intervention of Shinobu that Travis was able to live and the fight turned around. In the moments before her death, she was able to reconcile and make peace with Travis. Now she finds herself alive once again on Battleworld.

    • Name of the World: Santa Destroy

    • Description: Santa Destroy is a California coastal city. Where once was a complete shit hole of a town is now a prosperous city. The place has been completely renovated into a tourist hot spot with classy locales, exquisite hotels, and a skyscraper filled skyline. While the city is now making full use of their beaches and other assets, the success the city has earned is primarily due to the fact that the place has become a mecca for professional killers and violence enthusiast. The UAA (United Assassins Associations) ranked fights, once an underground curiosity, is now a public televised blood sport. All these changes have been made possible all thanks to the entrepreneurship of Jasper Batt Jr and the Pizza Bat Corporation who now own the entire city. The UAA, the mafia, the police, gangs, schools, businesses, everything and everyone is under his thumb.

    • Despite being something of a major city now, Santa Destroy still has a sort of laid back atmosphere, probably due to its palm trees, beaches, and attitude of its people. Aesthetically its a mixture of pristine and extravagant locales meant for tourist and rundown or even abandon urban environments. There are some fields and forests outside the city limits as well> Old map (Santa Destroy keeps the same basic shape). Part of new map. Basic aesthetic. Skyline, with giant mechs fighting in the foreground

    • Contents/Locations: Santa Destroy is a tourist hot spot with many modern luxuries. Wind power generators outside of town help keep it powered. Areas of interest include...

  • The UAA Building - The office building for the ones organizing the ranked assassin fights. Sylvia works here.

  • Naomi's lab - A warehouse turned lab of a tech genius with a secret.

  • Ryan's gym - A gym run by a fabulous instructor.

  • Airport 51 - A clothing store

  • No More Heroes Motel - A run down motel

  • Destroy Resort - A large luxurious beach side hotel. Nathan Copeland is staying here.

  • Destroy University - Santa Destroy's large prestigious looking college complete with a football stadium. Hosts the National Student Assassin Championship for aspiring young assassins hoping to get into the UAA. A number of students are assassins.

  • Dark Forest - A dark supposedly haunted forest outside Santa Destroy with a creepy abandoned house.

  • Prison Island - A supposed to be abandon prison on an island off the coast. Still very much in use as Cloe Walsh is kept here. Hosts a well trained, well armed security force.

  • Battle Royale Arena - A large combat arena the UAA uses to host battle royales.

  • Santa Destroy Bank - An incredibly large bank with literal tons of both cash and gold.

  • Warehouse District - To store goods, illegal or otherwise, and to kill people without being interrupted.

  • Ironcraw Point - A cliff along the ocean north of the city, perfect for duels at sunset.

  • Guan's Supermarket - A large supermarket

  • Rolling Cradle Highway - one of many highways that connect to Santa Destroy. People report seeing strange lights in the fields off this road.

  • Apartment Complexes - A labyrinth of tall rundown apartment buildings and winding alley ways.

  • Pizza Batt Tower - The largest skyscraper in Santa Destroy. Destroy Central, a large high class mall like shopping center, is connected to the base. Jasper Batt Jr rules from here.

  • Townsend Residence - A mansion on the beach front. The widow of a famed swords man lives here.

  • Destroy Stadium - A large professional base ball stadium. Many gruesome deaths happened here.

  • Santa Destroy High School - Still has a gang problem.

  • Bear Hug Studio - A movie studio that may as well be producing snuff films with the amount of corpses this place has seen.

  • Body Slam Beach - Part of Santa Destroy's beach. The body of a an academic who liked to dream is buried here. Watch out for stray mines and pit falls.

  • Senton Splash Tunnel - A long dark tunnel that leads outside the city. The other side has wind powered generators.

  • The Theater - A grand luxurious theater. A magician gave his last performance here.

  • Speed City - The crumbling ruins of what used to be a neighboring city. Two old warriors clashed here, both died.

  • T He Forest of Bewilderment - A mysterious, dark and misty forest with no fauna. It is easy to get lost here. Beyond is supposedly a castle where the Crownless King earned his title.

    • Specialties: Santa Destroy comes from a world of over the top action with overtones of violence and sex in almost everything. As a result, physics and reality here favors Rule of Cool (and sometimes rule of funny). Death here also tends be spectacular and violent, with large fountains of blood gushing from wounds. Whether the rule or simply the standard MO of people here, overkill is the way to go.

    • Population: Santa Destroy is run by the mafia and everyone knows it. While Jasper is the brains of the operation, it's his large criminal empire and army of thugs that make sure his will is done. While the rank and file is your usual mook in a suit, the UAA rank fights seemed to have inspired a number to pursue more extravagant tactics and weapons in a fight. Some of these include knife wielding ninja wannabes, large men wielding no weapons and preferring to grapple, chainsaw maniacs, and guys wielding katanas and even beam katanas. More than a number of these guys takes Nathan's message of violence to heart. The guys have access to a variety of fire arms both acquired legally and illegally. While strong in personnel, the mafia lacks the vehicles of a proper army. However, Jasper does have helicopters for their use with at least one that has an auto cannon mounted on it.

The police also operate in Santa Destroy, but they too are under Jasper and the mafia's control. It is not uncommon to simply see a well dressed man walk up to a crime scene and shoo the cops away, ending the case there.

Even with all the violence, most the people here are just average citizens typical of modern America. While not out right sociopaths, people do seem to lack a certain degree of empathy and will watch the UAA ranked fights with the same glee as the Super bowl. On top of that they also have a certain weirdness censor considering how daily life just continues with all that goes down Santa Destroy.

Prominent NPCS include Jasper Batt Jr, working as the de facto leader of Santa Destroy, Sylvia Christel, doing administrative work, and Dr. Naomi, handling any tech stuff or engineering.

    • Personality: Outwardly carefree, and aloof, bringing light-hardheartedness (in his own way) to the otherwise somber band of Helghast 113th Battalion that came along with Captain. Cheery, talks often in a sing song tone whether it is about puppies or execution order. Surprisingly, quite an excellent thinker, and ruthless if needed. Cares deeply about his crew.
    • Powers: Unless heightened resistance to chemicals and biological agents (per standards of Helghan inhabitants) counts as powers, none.
    • Equipment: Standard Helghast Army Officer's garb, as well as embellished gasmask and a commander's cap. Standard hostile environment survival kit, and a wrist breaker .44 Mateba revolver, along with ammunition
    • Backstory: Captain was a distinguished graduate of Radec Cadet Academy of New Helghast, along with several dozens of other graduants. Afterwards, served in the Helghast army and participated in numerous expeditions in the waste filled hellhole of Helghan. Had a falling out with several members of the New Helghast , as well as allegations of colluding with the Black Hand. Resulted in his and his battalion's transfer to Outpost 341, one of the rather remote and deadly outpost on the whole of Helghan.

    • Appearance:Nice cap
    • Personality:Gruff, rather direct to the point, though outside of duty, is rather loud and chatty. Tries to be as professional as possible (and actually succeeding), though has moments where the aura of professionalism he attempts to cultivate crumbles into itty bitty pieces (particularly around puppies. Gas-masked Helghast puppies).
    • Powers: A loud voice, a good sense of rethorics and dramatic speeches, if that counts. Otherwise, none.
    • Backstory: An enlisted man in the Helghast police department, mostly dealing with domestic terrorism as well as the occasional foreign spies, before an involvement with a raid performed by foreign agents on his office led to whatever remains of his department into the Captain's battalion. Stayed there ever since.

    • Name:Metrac Slivac
    • Age:52
    • Appearance:Shiny
    • Personality:Cold, calculating, and concise, he is a man not of frivolous thoughts. He prefers his labotary compared to the noise and chaos of battlefields, and is quite dedicated to his work. May occasionally laugh madly.
    • Powers:None. Unless blinding his enemies with his bald head, or thinking really hard counts.
    • Backstory: Metrac was a doctor in Laboratory 19 of the Kaznan Covert Operations divisions of the Helghan Army. Unfortunately, accusations of plagiarism (of course not true), megalomania (pshaw), as well as mania (what?) led to him being transferred to Outpost 341 with select few dozen of his lab assistants.

    • Age:21
    • Appearance:The middle wee one. Taken during graduation.
    • Personality: Like her father, she is rather dedicated to her work. Unlike her father, she is not obsessed with her work, and has a rather warm, if not personable personality. Sadly, mania (induced by explosions and guns) are inherited traits.
    • Powers:Also none, not unless being the albino Mc Gyver equivalent counts.
    • Backstory: Born in Laboratary 19 to a host of gratitude and tears (except her father's), she grew up learning what she could from the munitions and petrusite-focused lab in her father's and his employee's labs. After an incident involving a visiting senate member, inflatable rocket-shaped balloons, and grates after her father's transfer, she got moved as well to Outpost 341.

    • Name:Gunnar Reloc
    • Age:72
    • Appearance:Yellow is quite a nice contrast
    • Personality:Your jolly old pale-skinned granfather mechanic. Quick to heartily laugh, smokes a pipe(despite it having no effect whatsoever on Helghast physcology), he will happily regale you with tale of his exploits.
    • Powers:He can either talk your ears off or whack it with a welding tool, but bar those none.
    • Backstory: This is the man who lived the 13th, 15th, as well as preventing the 30th Blitz of Container City in New Helghan, as the rather expendable and hazardous position of front line combat engineer, none the less. As a reward for his service and exploits during his career, he is given the command of his own manufacturing and engineering crew, attached to the prestigious 113th Battalion. Until they got moved, that is. He and most of his crew stuck like glue to the 113th though.

  • Chunk

    • Name of the World:Outpost 341
    • Description: Outpost 341 can be accurately described more accurately as a fortress. Surrounded immediately by a small, though steep mountain range, coated by snow and buffeted by harsh snowstorms year round. At the base, spans the rather cheery vistas of the Kaznan jungle, made up of skyscraper sized trees and the constant fog that envelops the jungle, which forms the border of the Himalayan sized-chunk as well as the majority of the locales to visit. Overall, not a place to visit on holidays.
    • Contents: Aside from trees, man eating trees, large exploding trees that form the huge expanse of the Kaznan jungle, one may find irradiated and polluted Yuric lake and the rivers that flows from it. Occasionally,Petrusite hotspots forms in clearings or ravines within the jungle. In the northern-central part of the chunk, lies the mountain range where Outpost 341 lies. Outpost 341 is a monstrous click and half a click facility, dotted with batteries of guns and more gun sites, previously used to service Helghast Cruisers and Dreadnoughts, before its conversion to a research and observation facilities. It still retains most of its manufacturing and service capabilities though.
    • Specialties: The chunk retains the one thing that Helghan is infamous for beside aggressive natives, are its extremely hostile environment; lightning storms dominate the skies above the Kaznan jungle, while the area Outpost 341 is situated in constantly rains chemical laden snow and snowstorms forms most times of the years. On ground level, things are not so better either. The air is quite toxic to non-Helghast, and so is most sources of water. High humidity, combined with the constant acid rains forming at around ground level will cause equipments and supplies to break down rather quickly. The native flora may poison you, stab you, burn you, or elect to eat you, and same goes for most of the insect like fauna populating the jungle. Petrusites however, located and spawning in hotspots in the jungle, is a valuable source of energy, utilised by the Helghast in everything from machineries to domestic transportation.
    • Population: The Helghast are a largely aggressive and embittered people. Started a Intersolar war, exiled to Helghan by the Vektans and the UCN. Started a second Intersolar war, and nearly succeeded. Nearly being the operative word, and they lost their homeworld as a result. Now living with their hated enemy, their lives are one of constant hardships, which resulted in their highly militaristic culture and their rather bitter outlook on life. This, rather naturally, results in a race of highly effective and hardened soldiers, and while the 113th is no different, they are rather odd in that 'talking' and 'negotiating' is the first option before 'shooting the other guy in the face'. The thousands making up the 113th battalion, inclusive of the integrated support and lab crews, and the Senate members presiding the outpost , most having served in the military and police of New Helghan once, only time will tell what the future will tells for the Helghast of Outpost 341.

Nathan-I'm going to assume we're talking about very small missiles here, since they fire out of a glove. Given that fact, and the fact that he can only fire two at a time, I'm not going to worry too much about that. I'm assuming he'd have to wait like a second or so between each shot anyway just to make sure the missiles don't start bumping into each other/deal with recoil?

Cloe-Now, while I don't mind the random supernatural powers or anything.....you've got a lot of powers listed for her. Now, granted, this is somewhat balanced by the lack of a weapon. Kiss of death is out automatically, as that's got the potential to be an easy insta kill in the event someone's stupid enough to be seduced by her.

Acidic Saliva, am I correct in assuming this gets spit at opponents? How strong is the acid?

Need a range on the unholy beams.

Shadow summons, can they be attacked if someone sees em coming? How much damage do they tend to dish out, and how?

Yup, the missles Nathan fires are pretty small.

Haha, she does. I guess most the others attack list falls under their unique weapon, while its seems each of her attacks are a separate power. Its not a supernatural kiss of death, simply having acid poured down your throat usually is lethal. I wouldn't worry about people being fooled though as she will be quite up front with her intent, so a guy who falls for this is the same guy who would fall for "put your mouth at the end of the gun barrel"

Suppose she could spit it. As far as power, not sure. We could play it by ear. If another player gets hit with it and they just wants it to hurt with no long lasting effects, I am cool with that. Think I would like it to burn through metal though, mostly cause it makes her bit more creepy.

Range on beams, bot sure. They are just basically eye beams. I guess as a rule of thumb, its an attack meant for the same room, so she is not going to be sniping with them.

For shadows, basically assume fire balls that crawl along the ground but with a different make over.

Alrighty, so here's my replacement character for November.

Name: Amber

Age: Appears to be in her early teens

Appearance: Memories of betrayal in an amber smile...

Personality: Amber is an enigma to most. She acts a lot like a girl with a bubbly personality, but her attitude towards others (especially Hei) belong to someone much older, almost motherly. She knows much more than she tells, and seems to be one of the only people in Hell's Gate Tokyo who understands what's really going on. That being said, even she doesn't know how to best react to Battleworld.

Powers: In Darker Than Black, Amber's Contractor ability is to manipulate time at the price of growing younger. Even I realize that's way too powerful in an RP environment, so I'm saying that Amber lost her Contractor abilities when Tokyo was transported to Battleworld; perhaps The Cure realized it would be a nuisance and has permanently blocked it. That leaves Amber with considerable combat experience (although not necessarily with a body this young) and plenty of resources as leader of the Evening Primrose.

Equipment: I suppose you could consider her right and left-hand associates/bodyguards as her equipment, since they're the ones who would be doing most of the fighting. Her closest confidant is a big red-haired Contractor named Amagiri. He can project concussive blasts from his palms at the cost of eating a hard-broiled egg. Amber's other associate is a blonde woman named Brita, whose Contractor ability is teleportation at the cost of a kiss. For the RP, I will limit her abilities to only places she has traveled to in person; she can't just pop up in Shao Kahn's throne room without having any sense of its space or architecture because she'll probably reappear partially in a column and get torn in half. Another important note about Brita's ability is that she cannot teleport clothing, so everyone she brings with her (no matter the distance) will reappear naked. She's completely fine with that side effect, by the way. [lol]

Background: Amber is one of a handful of survivors of the Heaven's Gate incident, along with Hei and (supposedly) his sister Pai. According to Amber, she used her abilities so much in the Contractor War that she watched her friends (Hei and Pai included) die dozens of times before she could get everything right. This has given her a powerful sense of responsibility to protect everyone she can, especially Contractors and Dolls. She is the leader and founder of the Evening Primrose, a Contractor terrorist organization demanding equal rights to Contractors and Dolls, who are currently not even known by the general public. Amber firmly believes that Contractors and Dolls are just as human as the rest of the world, even though everyone else believes them to be strictly rational killers and tools, incapable of human feelings.

Main Character

  • Name: Nova
  • Age: Unknown, age is several thousand years, but for most of that time the have been dormant.
  • Appearance: Xeno Sentry Chasis as for size? about as wide as an f22 a bit taller thoughnote 
  • Personality: Inquisitive and Naive in a lot of things, but a gifted tactician, Nova is still slightly confused due to having awoken with little memory of why they were built, or what for.
  • Powers: Can use a spay of nanomachines to rapidly construct things, however she needs to have the designs for them in her databanks to do so properly.
  • Equipment: A plasma canon, and a Nanolaythe.
  • Backstory: A relic of an age long since passed, Nova is a surviving commander, a class of machines designed to fight wars on the scale of entire solar systems, however, she has since suffered catastrophic damage, and is only now beginning to come back online, this large amount of damage has lead to the corruption of large swaths of her data-banks, and the reduced efficiency of her construction.

Supporting Cast

  • I figure I can use this to lay out the details of how I am going to have the units work if it is okay.
  • Not so much one of these as large variaty of non-sentient dones slaved to Nova, makes them easy to control, but it also means that if any thing happens to her, all of her forces go with her.
  • I will stick mostly to teir 1 units due to the power level of the RP currently, these are just things like attack bots, jeeps, light tanks... hell I think even the helicopter is a teir two unit.
  • Going to merge the two ground factories into one though to offset the fact that I am slicing half the roster out.
  • Any teir two unit will be treated as a big deal, and its destruction a massive loss even if they can normaly built in mass in game, also titans and game enders are right out, no super weapons either.
  • As an amendum to no superweapons, I do want to know if the manhatan is okay, it is a nuke but one that is built into a teir two tank and transported along the ground with tracks, it has a lot of armour but is slow, needs escort, and is very interceptable.
  • Starting T2 units: 2 Cyclops Missile Ships, and 1 Kaiju destroyer.

  • Description: A mostly aquatic base
  • Contents/Locations: Errrr, list may sound like a lot of things, but thats because as a military base first and foremost and one that I actualy decided to build ingame I have can kind of name every single building that it contains.
    • 1 Airpad, 2 Naval Yards, 1 Land Factory, 1 Teleporter, 1 Orbital Launch Pad, 3 metal extractors, 3 fusion reactors, 3 metal storage facilities, 3 energy storage facilities, 1 Advanced Sensor Array, 1 Anti-Missile Silo, 2 Tactical Missile Launchers, 1 Anti-Orbit Ion Cannon, 1 Drop Pod Launcher, 1 Orbital Factory, 8 torpedo launchers, and 16 flack cannons.

Yea I am fine with that, if they ever are okayed though I am defiantly using the Manhattan over a missile, a slow rolling bomb on treads is more fun then just bang and done.

Maybe I could ask if a MOAB version is okay?

Any way if the resistance is the terminator people, I will take the south west indentation, mostly because I feel the reactions they would give to an AI having set up off there shores would be the best.

◦ Name of the World: Cybertron's City-State of Kaon

◦ Description: Most of a dark and futuristic alien metropolis (and a great cone of Cybertron's surface below it), a monstrous mushroom-like fortress rising from a vast glowing pit at its center. Its towers are armed with anti-air turrets and armored in thick black plates. Though it appears similar to cities on Earth in some ways, every charred street and blast-pitted building is scaled to beings many times larger than humans. Energy flows through conduits in walkways and beneath the streets, each of them armored against potential sabotage. Sigils and purple holographic banners depicting a sharp-edged face adorn every building, usually at the most structurally sound points. The lights are low even at night, though music, talk, and the occasional gunshot fill the shadows. Gunfire-pitted statuary fragments line some of the older walkways, black graffiti mocking whoever they once represented. Everywhere one goes in this place, the feeling of being watched is present. It is a city locked in the midst of wartime… and now confusion.

◦ Contents/Locations: Kaon is the military and political capital of the Decepticon revolution, and therefore has all the administrative and control functions that implies. The primary facility of Kaon is the giant fortress Kolkular, the pulsing spark of the Revolution, which directs and receives data from every Decepticon through the sophisticated technology of Cybertron. It is also filled the brim with top-notch Cybertronian static defenses, and its arsenals are well-stocked. If you want to communicate with Decepticon High Command (may whatever gods you believe in have mercy on your soul), this is the place to find them. Access is solely through either aerial landers or elevator shafts, both methods closely monitored (the latter of these could be locked out of the fortress while it was at full functionality, but the function was seemingly damaged by the transition to Battleworld). Kaon itself is on a war footing, and thus has several arms manufactories, numerous hidden bunkers, and emergency-locked armories. The city has a few bars (Cybertronian only, of course), many dealers in narcotics and stimulants, and fighting arenas set into the lower levels. Several visibly charred senatorial buildings are kept around as museums, and public information screens can be found on upper level street corners. As a result of how Kokular was created, the pit below the fortress contains a massive mining operation, including energon processing and retrieval facilities, resource sifters, and Kaon's central power plant (kept aloft from the mines at the pit's rim so as to avoid potential accidents). Kaon's largest prison is also contained within the pit.

◦ Specialties: Kaon is a former Cybertronian city-state and fortress at peak war footing, and therefore possesses technology far in advance of many other races in its own setting. Most of this technology is military in nature, from blast pistols and null-rays to capital-grade bombs and cannons (most of those remaining after the Chunking process in storage). Related to this is the fact that even without its outer rings, Kaon is a fully militarized fortress, and will immediately go to high alert once arrived on Battleworld. Other specialties include its mining operations and equipment, which could be reproduced or reallocated across the planet to feed Kaon's hungry industry. Kaon runs on an energon and resource rationing system in accordance with wartime conditions, though until the Chunking, this system was not strictly enforced. Kokular has complete domination of information in the city through surveillance technology and Decepticon authority. It also has a number of landing pads, hangars, and garages for transports and fighters, all of them armed.

◦ Population: As Kaon is the capital of the Decepticon Revolution, so it follows that the majority of the population are Decepticons. Every one of them knows how to use a gun, though not all know how to use it well. Not every Decepticon is a soldier; indeed, many are factory workers, medic-mechanics, and scientists. To be a Decepticon carries benefits. However, those Transformers who become too weak, too infirm, or even of the wronger notions (such as desiring neutrality or to "quit" the Decepticon cause) will end up as Empties, impoverished and lowly vagrants who have to scrounge and beg for survival. They form an underclass in the lower levels, taking practical slave labor over becoming target practice. Below them are an even more wretched kind: Autobot prisoners of war. Between vicious abuse and chassis-cracking labor, these hundreds of former soldiers and citizens toil brokenly away in the most hazardous mines, and are frenzied fodder for the gladiatorial pits. All told without Kaon's outer rings, the city's population is roughly five thousand, the majority of which are workers of one sort or another. The only reason Megatron would have to send them into battle is if he desperately needs reserves.

◦ Age: At least 5 million stellar cycles

◦ Appearance: The Emperor of Destruction himself.

◦ Personality: Cruel. Driven. Merciless. Vicious. Terrifying. Charismatic. Indomitable. These words all describe Megatron, either by his troops or his enemies. Those who know him better know that he is far worse than any of those adjectives: he is calculating, patient, erudite, and composed, with a gift for planning and seizing the moment. He is a monster of a Cybertronian, and he is an intelligent monster at that. He leads the Decepticon Revolution through a combination of respect for his prowess and terror at his potential for destruction. Megatron is both an experienced tactician and strategist, and while he will often direct the war effort from an Omniglobe, he relishes every opportunity he gets for frontline combat. Whether butchering organic indigines for daring to resist Cybertron or crushing Autobot anathemas to slag with his bare servogauntlets, the Decepticon leader takes a savage pleasure in combat. Paired with his nigh-invulnerable body and fearsome might, his mind can shake galaxies. Perhaps worst of all, Megatron truly believes that the changes he's wrought (and will forge in the future) and the war he prosecutes are for the good of the Cybertronian race. Every atrocity he wreaks (especially if inflicted on Autobots) is committed with clear cause and no remorse.

◦ Powers: Superior physical strength (even among Transformers), Cybertronian reinforced armored chassis (counts as super durability), .1-Percenter spark (can generate much larger amounts of power than most Cybertronians, has an abnormally strong will, and a powerful intellect), mass-conversion transformation (can transform into a Cybertronian handcannon), jet boosters in feet for limited flight, veteran pit fighting experience, veteran frontline combat experience, spite, Organization Lead: Decepticons: Faction Leader.

◦ Equipment: Reinforced helmet, datapad & stylus, energy ration canisters, fusion cannon (right arm-mounted), energy flail, energy sword, comms set.

◦ Backstory: Millions of years ago, the various arcane processes of Cybertronian reproduction came together to construct what should have been an unexceptional, if strong, miner. But that miner had the kind of spark legends are made of, and with it an inquisitive, strong-willed mind. He chafed under the corrupt, brutal rule of the Cybertronian Senate, becoming a prolific political writer and dissident even before he left the mines. What could have been a noble reformer was instead twisted into hateful rage by Senatorial police brutality. When Megatron the miner used that rage to take his first life, he never looked back. He fought in the gladiatorial pits of Kaon, gathering to him a savage cult of personality, the core of the Decepticon revolution. Through guile and skill of arms, Megatron began the Great Civil War that would engulf Cybertron and burn the galaxy.

◦ Personality: Scheming. Unctuous. Biting. Petty. Slippery. Ambitious. Relentless. Air Commander Starscream of the Seekers is all of these things and more. As one of the Decepticon old guard, he's seen as much of the Great War as Megatron, unlike the similarly experienced Soundwave, however, or the pragmatic Shockwave, Starscream has not remained an ardent follower of his superior. Once, he was. Now, he is dissatisfied, and thinks so highly of himself that he must be the one to one day lead the Decepticons. In the interim, he is quite happy to rain devastation on the Autobots alongside his Seeker squadrons.

◦ Powers: Flight (can transform into fighter jet analogue), fast repair, constructed-cold war-calibrated chassis, marksman talent, veteran frontline combat experience, ambition, Organization Lead: Seekers (Decepticon Air Forces).

◦ Equipment: wrist blasters, null ray, explosives, energon ration canisters, advanced targeting sensors,

◦ Backstory: Once, Starscream and his Seekers were mere rough and tumble fliers in the Kaon underworld. Then they heard the works of Megatron, and loved the idea of choosing what they wanted to be in Cybertonian society. From then on, they served him, proving instrumental to his devastating victory over the Senate.

◦ Name: Soundwave

◦ Age: Around 5 million stellar cycles

◦ Appearance: "As you command, Lord Megatron."

◦ Personality: Loyal. Stoic. Creepy. Observant. Paranoid. Ever-watching. Competent. Has no sense of others' privacy. Whatever the other Decepticons say about him, Communications Director Soundwave knows every word. If any 'bot personified the concept of "Decepticon Old Guard," Soundwave is indisputably him. He is Megatron's spymaster, saboteur, and communications expert, and nothing that happens within reach of the Decepticons is beyond his knowledge for long. He is a consummate professional, with some caveats. So long as it does not harm the cause, Soundwave is willing to help out the odd petty endeavor (so long as he also gets a "cut" of the profits). The moment that endeavor harms the cause, however, Soundwave will do everything in his power to halt it. He is a true believer in Megatron's philosophy and the greatness of his race, after all (and is the closest thing the warlord has to a friend as well). Soundwave is also fiercely loyal to his Cassetticon "minions" , who in reality are his close friends (with the exception of Ratbat, whose present status is an ironic punishment).

◦ Powers: Refined hyperawareness (audio, visual, olfactory, touch, emotions, thoughts), mass-shifting transformation (Cybertronian boombox, pylon, or automobile), sonic control (ranging from sound/speech manipulation to audiosensor-breaking shrieks to damaging subaudible resonance), stealth talent, veteran frontline combat experience, veteran infiltration experience, repair expertise, Organization Lead: Cassetticons, Decepticon Intelligence.

◦ Equipment: Shoulder-mounted cluster missile-launcher (can be modified to launch other things), hold-out energon blaster pistol, fine-manipulation servos, advanced custom-calibrated sensor suite, cyber-cassette deck system, advanced communications suite with speakers, energon ration canisters (doubled to provide for Cassetticons), Cybertronian repair kit.

◦ Backstory: Once upon a time, the Cybertronian who would become Soundwave was neither imposing nor respected. He was a homeless drifter, overwhelmed by acute synesthesia combined with an out-of-control sensor suite. It was only through his future Cassetticons discovering and befriending him that gained control over his abilities. Their combined skill caught the attention of one Senator Ratbat, who hired Soundwave on as his organizer, spymaster, and secretary (the more animalistic Transformers hired too only at Soundwave's insistence). Privately hating his corrupt and bigoted employer, Soundwave carried out Ratbat's criminal schemes without complaint. Then he began reading the works of Megatron. It lit his spark with fervor, and where Ratbat saw an opportunity to enrich himself, Soundwave saw a revolutionary change he could foster. As Kaon burned and the Senate died, Soundwave pledged his services to a new master.

◦ Name: Shockwave

◦ Age: Older than 6 million stellar cycles.

◦ Appearance: "That effect should prove useful..."

◦ Personality: Cold. Pitiless. Ruthless. Inquisitive. Obsessed. Quiet. Brilliant. Shifty. Whatever anyone says about him, Shockwave does not care. A multi-disciplinary scientist who trained under one of the greatest minds in Cybertronian history, he knows his services are invaluable to Megatron. Like so many things, Shockwave does not care about ideology, serving the Decepticon cause only because they provide resources and protection for his work (and complete lack of concern for ethics). His true agenda is the salvation of Cybertron, which he hides carefully. On a day-to-day basis, Shockwave is a brisk, efficient workaholic, polite when he needs to be, blunt when not. While he can work with the emotions of his colleagues (and can even manipulate them), acts of exorbitant irrationality confuse him (and may even drive him to emotion).

◦ Powers: Superior physical strength and reflexes, .1-Percenter spark, multidisciplinary scientific training, engineering expertise, repair expertise, cortical adaptation, political savvy, veteran frontline combat experience, Organization Lead: Decepticon Scientific Corps, Project Regenesis (early stages/defunct).

◦ Equipment: Arm-blaster (left hand), empurata monoeye, fine manipulation servos, scientific scanning suite, energon ration/sampling canisters, fully-stocked energon laboratory.

◦ Backstory: Like so many Decepticons, Shockwave was not always a criminal and sociopath. What follows is only known to a few. Once, Senator Shockwave was a vibrant, colorful reformer and the best student of great Jhiaxus, the brightest scientific mind of Cybertron's golden age. While holding no love for his fellow senators, Shockwave happily used his position to support causes and projects his colleagues (and the Functionist Council) were leery of. With the rise of Megatron and Orion Pax (later known as Optimus Prime), the Senator found a new ally in his struggle, protecting Pax from Senatorial backlash and taking him under his wing (even grooming him to take on the Matrix of Leadership). One wrench too many in the Senate's plans, however, and Senator Shockwave had to be punished. Sentinel Prime and Senator Proteus subjected Shockwave to Shadowplay (invasive neurosurgery which in this case all but removed emotional capacity) and empurata (replacing the hands and face of a Transformer with over-simplified and unexpressive substitutes). Though crippled and cowed for a time, Shockwave became far more dangerous in private, free to focus his thoughts entirely on his projects. It was then that Megatron gave him a generous offer...

So hey guys. I've officially decided to drop Ape Home (sad as it is to see it go), as I've lost enjoyment with the characters I've chosen, which is a big reason for my lack of recent posting.
