Naturally, the students around the board searching for their names include both newcomers and students back for their second or even third year; one such of the latter was Alex, his finger skimming over the 12th Grade listings. "Let's see, Alex, Alex, where am I on this..." he mutters to himself before his finger comes to a stop. "Class B, huh? Right, got it. Keep track of that for me, would you, Boomer?"
An indignant voice from his PET answers, "Of course. That's my job." Assignment found, Alex steps away from the board; there's about a second to shoulder your way in before someone else takes the vacated spot.
A girl with straight, black hair and a medium brown complexion approached the school gates like many other students. She rubbed her arm somewhat unsurely.
A voice came from a PET attatched to her backpack.
"Nervous?"
The girl paused a bit before responding to the Navi.
"Kinda."
"I mean, I'm really glad to come here, but we got here so soon, I couldn't see where stuff was beforehand..."
"Well, remember I'm here if anything goes wrong. And I do have the school's floor plan so we don't get lost."
The girl gave a slight smile.
"Thanks, KnightMan."
"Wait... where are we supposed to go first, again?"
"Class assignments are supposed to be in the foyer, so go in and look for those."
"Got it."
She walked through the gates and into the building, not really looking at the guards save a passing glance. Once she got to the main hall, she started to look for the board with her class assignment on it.

A small kid with blond hair glasses a wearing a purple hoodie was standing in the corner.
"What you don't want to see what class your in?" his Navi Double said from he PET from his pocket.
"I do see some lovely ladies so maybe." He said
Double just sighs as Cameron walks toward the group of other students

A brown haired boy stands at the back of one of the crowds around the boards trying to get a look over the other student's shoulders despite his shorter stature.
"Come on, I got here early... How is it so crowded??"
A voice from the PET in his pocket pipes up.
"That's because you were busy looking around the grounds instead of getting in line" Unseen by anyone outside the device, the navi shakes his head "Didn't I get all your class info online the other night?"
"Yeah, well they didn't say what room to go to" Chris takes a step back as one student heads off for their class, only to be replaced by another eager student. "Oy..."
"Maybe if you let me show you a few tricks you could slip in there"
The device chuckles as Chris takes a step away from the crowd and pulls the PET out so he can properly roll his green eyes at the teasing Navi
"If I let you show me a few tricks you'd have me leaping from buildings or something"

"Yes now can we please go the sooner your in class the better chance we will battle someone."
"Yeah yeah." He says walking with his arms behind his head and eyes closed

As Alex stepped away from the board, Eric bumps into him as he was trying to get there himself.
"Whoa! Sorry!" he said, then seeing that the vacant spot had now been taken by another student "Damn... You really can't waste time trying to get a good look at those..."
"Well, if it was me I would've gotten there in a hearbeat." said Nitro Man from the PET in Eric's pocket.
"Sure you would..." Eric rolled his eyes.
"Hey, do you know where the board for the 11th grade is?"
Stella then approached the other girl, looking at her with a friendly smile.
"There are so many of them it's kinda hard to find which is which." she giggled.
Andrea heard Stella talking to her.
"Oh, um... I haven't gotten a chance to look yet."
"Maybe it's one of those?"
She pointed at the boards that were slightly on the right end.

Alex grunts and stumbles slightly from the collision, but manages to keep his balance. "I really should watch where I'm going better, shouldn't I?" he notes rhetorically before addressing the person he bumped into. "Nah, it's okay. I wasn't really looking anyway." He glances back at where he had just been standing before adding, "This could take a while. You MIGHT get a chance in about five minutes, but I think it'll probably be more like ten or so. Sorry, it's kinda crowded on the first few days."
Boomer's voice scoffs, "Mostly because some of their Navis are as forgetful as they are."
Alex pulls out his PET in order to properly raise an eyebrow at Boomer. "You do realize that most of them still use those mass-produced Navis, right? Not everyone's as good at information stuff as you."
"That's no excuse. We could just write it down somewhere or something."

Cameron sees Chris and walks toward him, "Hey, names Cameron and my Navi Double."
Double just groans.

Chris looks up to see if he's in someone's way, and is mildly surprised to find he's being addressed.
"Oh, uh. Nice to meet you, I'm Chris. You don't happen to know which board has the 12th grade class assignments on it, do you?"

"Stop making friends and go to class I want blood!" Double says

Chris blinks in response to the violent Navi's outburst, but tries to ignore him.
"Well, thanks anyway, I'm Chris. Oh, and my Navi is Shadowman"

Stella then glanced at the board indicated, if nothing else it looked as legit as any of the others
"Maybe! So, what's your name? Mine is Stella!" she cheerfully smiled, then grabbing the PET hanging on her net and showing Star Man "And this is my Navi, Star Man!"
Star Man waved at Andrea "Looks like Stella chose you to be her first friend." he said with a chuckle.
"It's fine, I'm a tall guy so maybe I can look over these people and get to read it" Eric chuckled "My name is Eric by the way, so, you have a custom Navi too huh?"
"It's fine, guess he's not a fan of the mass-produced Navis" Chris shrugs, and adjusts the bag hanging from his shoulder. "Can't blame him. I mean, they work well enough, but they don't have a lot of personality, do they?"
Shadowman can be seen reclining from the screen of the phone-like PET in Chris's hand.
"Hey, aren't you at least going to say 'hello', Shadowman? You're going to make them think you're a jerk or something"
The ninja navi give half a wave. "Yo. Big school, isn't it?"

He shows them Double who is shadow boxing with a big Slasher Smile

"My name is... ridiculously pompous and I hate it, so I just go by Alex." After introducing himself, Alex looks back at the crowd again before adding, "Wouldn't you have to get close enough to read before you can look over their shoulders? And what if you're near the bottom?"
After a moment, he turns his PET around to show his scrawny-looking, stag beetle-themed Navi. "Go ahead and introduce yourself, Boomer."
Boomer, for his part, looks underwhelmed at finding himself in a social setting, but complies: "I am BKuwanger.EXE. My full designation is Boomer Kuwanger, but my operator just calls me Boomer. I'm customized for information retrieval for the most part." He pauses before adding, "Since we're apparently showing off our Navis right now, perhaps you could introduce yours?"
Andrea gave a slightly nervous wave.
"Uh, hi. I'm Andrea."
She then turned her backpack somewhat so her PET was visible to both Stella and Starman.
"And, uh, this is KnightMan."
"It's a pleasure to meet the both of you."

The navi gives a polite wave to the other human.
"Yeah, Shadowman is pretty awesome! Haven't seen a Navi like yours before, he looks pretty buff"
"Look sharp Chris, there's an opening."
"Huh? Oh, Right! Sorry Cameron, I'll be back in a sec" Chris said quickly before rushing to the board to look up his classroom.

"Nice to meet you, Andrea!" Stella happily waved back and then looked at her Navi, impressed "Wooow! A knight! Your Navi looks really cool!"
"Really bulky too, a defensive Navi, I'm guessing." said Star Man, looking considerably less excited.
"My name begins with an E so I doubt they're going to place my name at the bottom..." said Eric as he took out his PET from his pocket "This is Nitro Man."
Nitro Man then leaned forward a bit to get a close look at Boomer "You... You look like a clown or somethin'." he rudely stated.
"Nitro Man..." Eric groaned.
Boomer counters, "And you look like you never stop to think. Haste makes waste, remember?"
Alex turns his PET back and scolds Boomer, "What're you always telling me about answering insults?"
Boomer sighs before reciting, "Never answer them with insults, I know... I was trying to get him to slow down and think about what he does before he messes something up."
Alex starts toward the stairs, waving over his shoulder as he calls to Eric, "I gotta go, so I'll see you later. Who knows, maybe we're in the same class?"
KnightMan tips his head somewhat.
"Why, thank you, Miss Stella."
Andrea nods.
"Yeah, he's really good at protecting things. And keeping things running like they should."

He spots Stella and Andrea "Nope." He walks by the ladies and trips falling next to them.

"So he really is your knight in shining armor huh? It's a shame he doesn't exist in the real world to protect you." said Stella, giggling a bit
It was then that the sound of the bell ringing echoed through the lobby. Stella's eyes widened as she realized that she just wasted a lot of time.
"Oh man it's time to go to class and I don't even know where mine is yet." she started frantically looking around "Oh yeah I didn't check that one board ye-"
It was then that a boy fell right in front of her, much to her surprise
"Um... Are you okay?"
"Maybe, I guess I'll have to check that out. See you later, I guess."
As the bell rang the students started heading upstairs for the classrooms, making it easier for students arriving now to check the board without having to muscle their way past a mob. That was certainly convenient for Eric, who found his name on the board and not only that, he saw that he and Alex were in the same class. More importantly though
"...Geez that is ridiculously pompous name." he thought, not being to help himself a chuckle a bit.

It was the first day of class at the Axion High School. Students were flooding through the school gates and being met with a path leading straight to the school building.
Of course, some were able to go by driving and such was the way the Armstrong twins used in order to be able to arrive in time, even then they had to speed up quite a bit.
"Whew! Seems like we're right on time!" said Stella, relieved as she held on to her brother as he drove.
"You wouldn't be in such a rush if you didn't take so long to wake up." said StarMan.EXE, his voice coming from the PET that was hanging on Stella's neck like a pendant.
"Heehee..." Stella responded, embarrassed and rubbing the back of her helmet that was stylized after her Navi "I was so excited for today I couldn't sleep."
"And I bet you stayed up all night watching the stars." added Eric as he drove "Now, where is that parking lot..."
Close to the entrance gates there was also a parking lot entrance, there weren't many going through it, so Eric was able to get inside quickly. The parking lot wasn't very big, surprisingly, but had enough space to accomodate a good number of vehicles at least.
Eric parks in the motorbike area and him and his sister get off it, taking their helmets off. Stella immediatelly started looking around the area, seeing a lot of green from both grass and trees further ahead, though the parking lot area was made of concrete.
"Wow, this place is so pretty! So much nature!" said Stella, smiling excitedly.
"Yeah, but anyway we should be going." said Eric.
There was a split path from the parking lot, one to the right leading to the school building where most of the other students were gathering and the other leading to somewhere else that the two of them didn't have time to check.
At the building's entrance there were two guards, one man and one woman, watching as the students made their way inside, giving a greeting nod with a smile to any students that looked at them as they passed by.
Once the siblings made their way to the lobby of the school, they would notice many holographic boards on the walls, contaning the names of the students and where their classrooms were.
"All right, try to find which one is yours. Try not to get yourself in trouble so early" said Eric, giving Stella a pat on the back
"I'm not a baby you know." said Stella, sighing.
They then separate, trying to find the board for their class, many students being gathered in front of them making it all the harder for those just arriving to be able to read their names in it.
