Looking Glass Gardens - 6:42AM

The buildings in the City are as bright and clean as ever, with its ocasional streaks of vibrant color here and there. The sky is blue and clear of clouds as ever, with one or two occasional planes crossing it - one would begin to wonder if the corporations actually got something to do with that weather. The streets and offices were calm and empty on the way to Looking Glass Gardens - thursday workday was suspended due to the recent happenings. People were actually enjoying the surveillance-free days to meet friends and family without being monitored. Looking from a desobstructed view would reveal the reason why: The Shard building, unchallenged in height in this City's horizon, was covered in some of its intermediary levels with Calaghan City Constructions scaffoldings. One big red crane was already raising materials to repair the damage taken from what you guys heard was an helicopter crash, two days ago, from your contacts. These never ending constructions were already normal around here. Sirens and Birds could be heard and seen on the distance, Blue traffic was exploding on the wires, but that was probably the plan all along: they'd never thought you guys would show up and meet yourselves right under their noses.

The building marked on the GPS location Drake sent you is actually one with green on its walls from the ground up to the halves, metal stairs and catwalks; lots of AC units, pipes everywhere, and some fences here and there, some with barbed wire. There were a couple "Let's make things even better! Vote Callaghan!", and "Digler Donuts - Because life is sweet!" outdoors around, one of which you could use to get to the roof. There was also a zipline that got to there from a higher rooftop, a couple of the oddly common Mr.Tronik boxes you could use to springboard jump, and obviously an elevator - every construction in this city seemed to have at least two of them.
Once there, some of you, if not all, would be pleased to notice there was actually no view to the Shard from there, since you were a couple blocks away and a couple of taller buildings would hide you from view. The place seems empty, waiting for someone to come. But then again, all of this city has been looking like this for the last couple years -like it was calling you all for action. Like it or not, some freedom fighters would be necessary for the end of oppression - and some mighty peculiar ones seemed already on the way.

It was by a zipline that Lena came by. A mix of glove, a sort of machine-oil as well as metal strips in her glove that lets her traipses down the zipline, landing down on the rooftop and dodging an errant pole.

A combination of boredom, and perhaps a call of duty? Funny— This is an odd feeling.

No matter.

Once there, she sneaks about, hiding behind a crate, and waits for the other to come.

Gabriel entered through a elevator, it wasn't flashy, it wasn't overt. But it served it's purpose quite well.

He looked about, scanning for possible hiding spots, "You out here?"

...

A blue?

Ducks down under the crate. And hopefully, won't get spotted.

Which, is a bit questionable when the tip of her shoes are poking out a little. But its the thought that counts.

Gabriel cocked a eyebrow and lifted up the faceplate of his helmet, "You know I can see the legs!" he shouted as he walked over.

He holstered his shield onto his back, "You the runner?"

"...."

The little lady looks up at Gabriel, understandably quite worried.

"...Y-Yes.", She managed to whimper out.

"Good. Glad to finally meet up with you," This would make things easier for certain.

Though what with his body armor and police outfit he could understand her worry.

Slowly backs up, glancing at the elevator from time to time, while a hand is on the crate she is behind in.

"..."

"...A-Are you a blue?"

"In a sense... formerly is more apt a description. There are benefits to being a policeman."

Gabriel shrugged, she was really scared.

"Oh."

So he is not a blue.

Centipede sprinted, he cold feel the flow inhabiting him as he leapt, rolled and slid through the urban landscape. Almost like the old days...Course, these says he was less likely to injure someone's leg just for running.

He took out his cellphone, sending a text. STUFF DELIVERED. NU ASNMNT?

>Nothing nu yet. Since you've got no jobs y don't u hang out?

That was the answer the Centipede had. Continuing to scroll the list would reveal Drake's text message with the GPS coordinates that Lena and Gabe followed, that Keat didn't for some reason. Your pursuit cop instincts tell you there is some movement in the distance.

Meanwhile, in the meeting point, the somewhat awkward couple were waiting for what seemed some minutes now without no sign of movement nor life anywhere, at least none that are obvious. Lena probably knew better, but on the other side there's an old Runner saying that goes like: "Never ever trust a blue."
They were probably in silence as the sun hit their skin. An annoying woman from the City Eye News was talking of terrorist Faith Connors and her break-ins and attacks in the City in a radio somewhere.

That saying is ingrained in her, set in stone.

But a job's a job.

And so, in between watching the sun rise up, she gives the Blue a glance from time to time.

Gabe rolled his eyes at the report. He was told to meet up here, so that's where he went.

"So... Did you get the message to meet up here as well?"

"Yeah."

She replied, without much of a thought.

Looking Glass Gardens - 6-52AM

A figure suddenly crosses the sky, darkened by the sun behind it. It employs a landing roll on the floor, and the direction just tells you it came from the springboard boxes. The conversation is immediately interrupted as you both try to figure out who is that black guy in orange shirt talking in a earpiece facing away from you.

"Well then, we've got former Blues and P Ks, a purplish Green and a guy of some unknown faction, and that's just the start?" he does a half-laughter "That should be interesting. I know I've got real late, okay? But you know there are blues even in the sewers, literally. 'Kay, 'mom.'"

He turns to the other side, annoyed, and those of you who know the more famous Runners instantly recognise Kreeg, a Runner tracked from Drake. He sees you both and jogs in your direction, waving.

"Hey there, fellas. Kreeg here. He told you guys to get here without a clue as well? Damn, Drake's a real pain in the ass sometimes, with all the dramatics and shit...at least he's not playing his crappy old music on 'your' earpieces. Oh, right!" He promptly reaches one of his pockets in his sidestraps and gives you both communicators just like he's using "He did told me to give you these. To...stay on the loop. Knowing that guy, we'll just have to wait and see. Probably until everyone's here...but keep your eyes open for drawings and grafitti too -you just never know what he's got under his sleeve."

The diminutive girl gives a polite nod, almost a bow, and hastily takes the earpiece, putting it on.

"R-Right, and you would be...Kreeg?"

Heard of the name, but never got to care— A job is job, regardless who you are working with.

[Yep!]says a voice inside Lena's head that maybe startled the little girl. After a while, it was clear it was Drake on the piece [But never call him Clarence. Found this boy at the Wastelands. Turns out he was an Orange, but aspired to be a real Runner -and he had that sparkle in his eyes...now he's known as the goody two shoes between Runners...except for having no respect for his tracker. Could you make him turn on his piece?]

Interesting bit.

"R-Right... Kreeg? Would you mind turning on your piece?"

And listens in as well, tuning in to any potential 'crappy-ass-music'.

Kreeg looks surprised at Lena.
"Oh, he's already bossing you around? Well, there's no coming back after that" he is talking with a playful tone however, and turns his piece on muttering something like "I'm here, 'mom'"

He then nods to the Cop.
"You must be Gabriel. Been hearing a awful lot of you lately. I'm not one to judge where you come from, so I hope you prove right the the half of us that actually says you're not that bad."

Is this him being serious or being playful? Probably the latter, she surmised.

"Hey— It helps to follow the direction of the voice in the sky, you know.-"

She replied, while sticking her tongue out with the last words.

"Meanwhile, the chief of police has stated that the runners will be caught." The ear buds in Keats ears said, He smiled. Always fun to hear about how they were 'improving' the forces of good. With one last leap, he found himself at the coordinates, annoyed with himself that he had taken sk loong

Keats scanned the crowd. He left his distate for the orange bare. He didn't need one of those psychopaths,True, Kreeg was different, but Keats, as hypocritical as it made him, still didn't fully trust him. Gabriel was there, Keats walked over to stand beside the former blue, two ex cops.

"Sure it is, Lena. That's why I hear my tracker when I'm up here in the Mirror's Edge...at least when it's necessary."

His attention turned to Keats.
"So, The Centipede is here!" he then changed his tone as he saw Keaton's reception to him "All right, get your piece. Well, I'm sure there's more on the way, but this is gonna be a team, and the most odd one I've seen. Okay Drake, you're up."

Getting the cue, your earpieces started buzzing with Drake's voice.

[Okay people, there's something we need to know by our own means. We need to meet a contact near West Arland, then we'll see how to go from there. Get some...three or so earpieces from Kreeg, it's gonna help. Now get moving, go!]

Lena nods. Time to get to work.

With that, she left the others, heading out to see where should she start going from...

Lena starts running and vanishes from view jumping down an ledge in a minute - she can find the beggining of the way without any help - a series of catwalks just close enough for her to jump from one to another got her mind almost instantly. From then on, she knew she had two more buildings to cross before needing directions again, and how to do it was up to her.
