Now that fansubs/non-terrible encodes are out for the first episode my concerns over visual quality have been largely relieved. There's a few neat visual shout-outs to Evol and Genesis that I missed the first time around. Definitely getting a vibe that this is going to track much closer to Genesis than Evol, but I'm interested in finding out where exactly the mythos deviates.
So I'm assuming Sougon is going to be the Fudou in this series.
You know, I'd have thought that a Tanabata episode would have been the perfect time to introduce this series's take on the Myth Arc. No such luck, but at least we're past the two-person gattai limit.
Seems unlikely, given that he's the antagonist. I've actually seen speculation that Akira's a strong candidate, and it's surprisingly plausible.
Hold on a second!
1+2+3=Aquarion Angel? Isn't that the same name as Omega+Luna+Sol? Won't that just make things confusing?
As stated by production staff, this show is in a different continuity.
So new episode.
And Just so we're all on the same page: Akira basically just told us that he's bi, right?
Or simply asexual, which would fit better with his portrayal as being kind of clueless. I like that his "I'm a savior" running gag is now simply being cut short because everybody's heard it a million times by now.
I know, but it still doesn't make it any less confusing.
Random Person 1:"My favorite Aquarion is Aquarion Angel!"
Random Person 2: "Which one?"

Do you have a source for that?
There is currently an Aquarion Logos page but it is in need of some work
So, this series is finally over. I know many just stopped bothering with it and I also didn't pay much attention to it, but at least I wanted to say Logos... wasn't good, but I can't call it horrible. Sure, it was lame, generic and predictable, but at least I didn't end up hating it as I did with Evol. The only thing I really hated about the finale was that bullshit of Subete sacrificing himself to save the world only to spite Akira. Seriously, that was like something the creators threw in so Logos didn't end like the original series did and leave the main couple together.

How was it? I stopped watching ages ago because the subgroup I was watching stopped subbing it and I hear the official subs aren't very good.
Pretty much everything I said; bland and generic, but not horrible. I predicted pretty much every plot twist since the first few episodes such as Maia being an Artificial Human and Akira's motivition to be a savior being a forgotten childhood promise with Maia. But I liked Maia, her relationship with Akira and some of the Character Development of the other characters.
I say Logos is decent as a standalone series. At least I think it wasn't as bad as Evol.
After seeing a few episodes, I would say this isn't bad, but given how EVOL turned out I think I will wait until the series is over to check out how they handled everything this time. Well, at least they won't have to worry about sequel problems since Logos is doing is own thing.
