With it now being clear that there's no problems, he finishes his third piece. He can still hear them talk though, seeing as he's standing right next to the same couch she's sitting in.

He remains quiet as he listens what they're talking about, and after their conversation Andrew turns to Charlie, looking really grateful that she tried to help him, as she'd promised, even if it didn't work out.

"T... thanks, Charlie. I..."

He then looks more reserved and unsure, but still happy.

"I-I'd give you a hug, but you're eating right now.", he says, a bit more quietly.

After an innocent giggle though, he turns back to the pizza and goes for a fourth piece. This kid has eaten almost half a medium pizza in the time it's taken everyone else to eat a single piece.

"It could be a couple hours. She looks like she's naturally just tired on top of what happened. We should let her rest."

Rey stands up and dumps his empty pizza box in the trash bin. "Hey, Kirb. I'm pretty sure I'm one of the only people here with a cell phone. Let's exchange digits... and then I'm gonna go lie down."

Holy... shit.

Meanwhile, Charlie finishes her XL slice and calls that a day. "Dude..."

She can't help but laugh at Rey.

Andrew looks at Rey for a moment right as he finishes his fourth piece. Realizing what happened, he looks comedically aghast.

"I didn't know anyone other than Mike could eat that fast.", he mumbles to himself.

"Alright. Let's bring her to this castle's bedrooms," Ben says. "As much as I imagine she appreciates finally being cleansed of the darkness, she would probably be even happier if she woke up somewhere comfortable."

He begins walking to the bedrooms in question.

Terra follows Ben, taking Aqua with him.

Rey and Star Knight exchange digits, and then Rey heads up to his room, muttering something about needing to stop eating so fast.

"Anyway..." Charlie turns to Andrew. "It's nothing, really. I just saw a chance and I took it."

Near Whiterun

An interdimensional something spews someone out into the dirt.

... Weiss?

"Ugh, my head... where the..."

Sh gets up.

"... This is not Beacon."

"I still appreciate it.", Andrew says as he looks back at her. "I didn't doubt you, but it does show that you meant it."

He then looks sheepish and twiddles his fingers;

"It also, uh, kinda makes me feel bad again about how far I went when I was angry at you..."

"Don't mention it. I got you back good, didn't I?"

Whiterun Outskirts

Metal Gear REX stomps its way outta there.

And then Ruby spots Weiss. "... One moment, Boss."

The fucking walking tank runs right up to her. "Weiss!"

She's not so naive as to think this is her Weiss... but it's still a Weiss, right?

"H-heh, yeah..."

He looks curious as he turns back to the pizza once more though, taking a bite and thinking to himself. Wondering about this unfinished business he still has that's preventing him from being revived or passing on. Because he doesn't actually know the answer himself.

But right now, that doesn't bother him. Because for the first time in a long time, he's actually, genuinely enjoying himself.

"Ruby?!"

She whirls around, and has a whoah reaction.

"... Whaaaat... Ruby, where did you get a mech? Nevermind, where are we? The last thing I remember was flying back to Beacon from Atlas on a tiltjet..."

It seems Weiss is naïve enough. I guess it makes sense, given that this is her debut here.

"... Weiss, maybe I should explain something. Now, I know this is gonna sound crazy, but..."

She explains the whole 'other world' and 'interdimensional organization' things, while leaving out the 'everyone from my world is dead' part.

It takes a couple seconds for the information to process.

"... You're right, that does sound crazy coming from you... So you aren't the Ruby I know, huh?"

She slaps a palm to her forehead.

"Back where... I'm from? My Remnant. We had an experience like that - first contact with another world. And now we have to deal with several more? Ugh!"

"This is even weirder. The other world we made contact with at least had some history, some connections to ours, albeit greatly muddied by time. This is just - this is just an infinite multiverse proven real!"

"Yeah, it is." Ruby snickers.

"I think it's fun! I get a cool mech and I fight pop culture villains!"

Dragonsreach — Aftermath

After the battle, after the chaos, in the quiet that followed, a single figure stepped gently into the keep. She carried only her clothing, some light travel gear, and some sort of guitar case.

She made her way gently up through the rooms... something had happened here, and she could still 'feel' it somewhat. A familiar presence amidst the still-regenerating aftermath.

Nora, with the hood on her garb up, stepped softly into the room in which Aqua was resting. She pulled her hood back, and gingerly set her guitar case down next to a chair.

"Sorry for the intrusion," she said, nearly whispering so as to not disturb Aqua. "But... I thought I felt the presence of someone I had met before, and... well..."

She sat down, and pulled a fairly gruesome-looking bass guitar out of the case. It seemed to be made of monstrous materials — carapace, sinew, chitin, bone... a few teeth and claws? Truly a dangerous-looking instrument if ever there was one...

Nora adjusted the string a bit, producing... fairly normal, if somewhat deep, tones.

"I... I was already carrying my strings with me, and... seeing you like this, I thought you might appreciate something to ease your dreams."

She adjusted her fingers, and began to pluck out a soothing melody.

"Tch. I guess in a... system? A network of civilizations aware of travel like that, it could be 'fun'. It was a very stressful experience for both parties in our situation, though."

"So how is everyone, on your side? We're mostly doing all right, now that the dust has settled."

Uh-oh.

"Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..."

She looks aside nervously. "Lllllllet's not get into that right now. Please?"

Hrmph. ... Some shit must have happened, eh? In fact, maybe questioning her more about her side in general is a poor idea. That should come sometime later.

"All right," she says, dropping it for now. "On my side, father was finally arrested for his business practices just a bit ago. He went off on a crazy villain rant - and I caught it all on a wire. It was almost amusing."

"thankyou"

"Your dad was an evil jerkwad, huh? Well, I guess I know where your attitude came from!"

Ruby almost laughs, but stops herself and looks aside sadly. "... sorry."

"WOW, okay... Actually, that was pretty funny." She snickers. "Anyways, it looks like Winter's going to inherit the company now."

"Can you, er, come down out of the mech? It's a bit odd holding a conversation with someone piloting a... rather large vehicle like that."

Ruby ejects from Metal Gear REX, coming sliding out of its mouth-like cockpit. "Yo!"

She gives a cordial wave as Ruby emerges from the Metal Gear.

"Yo!"

Kjenstag Ruins, Skyrim

An Outrealm Gate opens up at the ruins. Two girls walk through, stepping onto the snowy ground.

"This is new.", an Assassin-class girl◊ says as she glances around. She then starts shivering.

"New and cold!"

"We should probably find shelter and rest up. Afterwards, we can explore this realm.", the more knightly girl says.

"Good idea. As long as you don't wander off on your own again.", she says, sounding a little abrasive.

"I-I have learnt my lesson!", she says, looking embarrassed.

"Well then, let's go. Everything is freezing here!"

The two girls then set off in search of the nearest village.

Ruby sways back and forth like one of her pre-battle idle poses in BBTAG. "Yeah, it is. It's lent to me from-"

"... how do you know what that is"

In an equally flat tone, she responds with "My own interdimensional experience. Er, our own."

"It was a pretty good game. I guess it makes sense it's out there somewhere, given... infinite."

Gamer Weiss, gamer Weiss!

"On our side, the two worlds that made contact with were already present in each other's fiction. Their world was present in our folklore, and ours was - believe it or not - a cartoon show. Albeit with inaccuracies - it was an infinite coincidence, not an interdimensional spyglass."

Ruby blankly smiles. "... Uh...huh."

It's clear that E!Weiss's metaphor at the end there flew right over her head.
