Charlie whimpers slightly.

Erma puts a hand up in front of her. Don't worry, I'll handle this now.

"It's Terlette," she grumbles, channeling Viv to heal her wounds as she rips free of the spikes. "I just interrupted myself."

She then claps her hands, eyes glowing a mix of purple and dusty orange, and a fog spreads through the area. This fog has no effect on Jishuki due to the Muta (mind) element being used to make it selective, but as for Leesarix...

   Sleeping gas! She's clever!   

   "Well, isn't that convenient?"   

Giygas looks up at Botar.    Yes.   

All Jishuki can do in response to the laser beam is hold up his left hand, the diamond on the bottom portion glowing slightly. Although the beam is not made of chakra, he's praying that its similar enough to be absorbed by his Dark Release. If it isn't, well... R.I.P... But if it is, then it should help mitigate the effects of whatever blast might occur.

Leesarix starts jumping back to gain some distance, recognizing the mixed glow in Terlette's eyes, and, through channeling the Naaku element of World Magic, creates a large spike underneath himself, having it to up at an angle so that he can safely stand on the side of the spike, above the ground and thus, at least right now, out of reach of the cloud.

He then channels the Fata element of World Magic once again, eyes glowing a dark gray, this time putting his hand on the makeshift ground to send a wave of corrosive energy Terlette's way. It's entirely possible that Terlette won't see the wave coming due to it blending in with the cloud of sleeping gas she created.

Jishuki's Dark Release won't fully work on Killer Bat's Ray Stinger, but it will work to an extent. Most of the damage is mitigated to nothing, but some of it still goes through. Not nearly enough to kill him, but definitely enough to harm him.

Killer Bat grins sinisterly, trusting that Leesarix can take care of Terlette for now, and the Shadow charges for Jishuki as he charges up static on his blade, readying himself for...

Hornet Blaster

Casting his most powerful move, Killer Bat fires an electric blast at full power at Jishuki, intent on putting an end to him here and now.

"Convenience is always preferable to the alternative.", Botar notes before looking back at Giegue specifically. "I will send you back."

He then looks at Giygas.

"Do you want to come along?"

And then he glances at Shadow.

"... and who is this?"

Terlette gets caught by Leesarix's magic. Fortunately, however, her legs are immune to the effects of age and erosion (see: solid gold), which buys her a precious few moments to react as it travels up, and nullify it with light-gray Viv magic. Eyes glowing red-orange, she unleashes an arc of flame that ignites the gas cloud for a huge explosion!

Shadow looks away.    "A concerned third party, is all. I can stay behind, if you'll inform me of the situation after the fact."   

   Just bring us all along,    says Giygas.    It's not worth the headache otherwise.

Spartan B213

The Spartan looked at Rimuru briefly, giving him a quick glance.

"I'd think being sliced apart and then being completely unaffected by it a few seconds later definitely proves that. However I don't think the rest of us are quite so durable, I suggest we make an escape."

The dome continues getting hammered by the plasma, but it seems to remain unaffected for the most part, sheltering the group from the surrounding fire with ease. The Spartan looked toward a nearby clearing in the forest, mostly devoid of imperials. He motioned toward it,

"I ditched my Warthog about twelve hundred meters from here, I could get there in just over a minute. Not sure how fast the rest of you are, but that's probably our best bet. Then again, we won't be moving anywhere without some covering fire."

The golden dome's hue began to shift to a darker red, worrying the Spartan.

"We've got about 15 seconds, maybe less."

He looked at Medic,

"You're our best bet here, just use that gun of yours on someone and we're getting the hell out of here."

Wrustoiz

The Sith Lord remained quiet, but his gaze was fixed on Tanzen, who was eyeing the barrier from afar, unmoving. His silence was broken by a quiet grunt, a grimace developing under his mask. He lowered his lightsabers to his sides, prepared to bolt.

Wincing due to his now bruised and bleeding arm, Jishuki decides to leap away from the electric blast, hopefully avoiding it in the process. If and when he lands, he lifts up his destroyed arm and aims it at Killer Bat. "Dark Release: Judgement!" he shouts as blue flames erupt from the top diamond towards the Shadow. While it won't incapacitate him, if they hit it'll still pack a punch.

"Don't vorry, as long as you're fast, so vill I be."

Medic puts his Kritzkrieg on Rimuru and flips the Übercharge switch, causing whatever Rimuru uses to attack to glow red and crackle with electricity as it deals triple its normal damage!

"Auf wiedersehen, Dummkopfs!" (Translation: "Goodbye, idiots!")

Perona toss some ghosts their way and then float backward. Way backwards, with the rest of the group, blowing a raspberry straight at them.

Rimuru felt the power flowing through him, he FELT stronger, which was very rare for him. Usually he never felt like anything more than a strong slime.

"Ill clear the path, you guys go behind me."

He stepped out of the dome shield, in his left hand, red lightning was forming, and in his right, red fire.

Extra Skill! Darkflare Lightning!    KRITICAL   

The slime held both of his hands out in front of him now, both of the spells combined into something else...

When he released the magic, the result was red bolts of fire and lightning bolts firing out in all directions, targeted for the Imperial army directly, if these bolts hit their targets, disintegration would be instant, and the bolt would chain to the next Imperial. And so on and so forth, hopefully making enough space for everyone to get out.

Spartan B213

The imperials were not prepared for the oncoming onslaught, not even able to scream before their bodies and armor both were disintegrated. The only things remaining were Lord Tanzen and a few damaged war droids.

Although the droids wouldn't be able to fire after the group either, completely blown apart by the explosive ghosts. This gave the group all the time they would need. Tanzen was also blasted back by one of the ghosts, incapacitating her.

The dome shield drops, the Spartan bolting forward, running right next to Rimuru. He motioned for them to follow, holstering his gunlance on his back. The Spartan briefly rose his right hand, looking down at his wrist attached GPS.

"Still there."

He muttered to himself, continuing forward. When it seemed the group had been in the clear, once they had cleared the forest, a horde of imperials on speeders could be seen careening toward them. Although more important than that was the massive destroyer floating above the group.

The fighter squadrons that had left the ship earlier changed course, turning and beginning to dive toward them.

The Spartan remained quiet, determined to continue running, seemingly unbothered on the surface by the massive cruiser and the fighter squadrons.

Wrustoiz

The Sith Lord ran with the group, keeping up in pace with the Spartan and Rimuru. Although he briefly looked backward, and the incapacitated Tanzen was gone. A wave of anger swept over the Sith, he had hoped she would've died.

The huge explosion seems to engulf Leesarix completely, but the fact that Killer Bat doesn't seem to react in any way, it's safe to say that he must've evaded damage somehow.

And that turns out to be the case, as Leesarix, channeling Entry once more, appears behind Terlette through a portal, eyes glowing orange.

His eyes then glow a mixture of dark gray, for Fata, and off-white, for Naaku, as he grows poisonous spikes on his blade, after which he starts swinging said blade at Terlette. If she blocks the swings with her own weapon, the poison will try to start spreading over her weapon.

Luckily for Jishuki, the blast isn't too big, so he's able to evade it successfully. Killer Bat, meanwhile, gets struck by the flames. He raises his arms to try to block as much of it as possible, but the pain inflicted from the flames still makes him flinch. This may be the opportunity Jishuki needs to catch his breath and get back on the offensive.

"It isn't about headache, it's about trust. I have no proof that this person is a trusted ally.", Botar says.

   "The fact that the two of us say so isn't enough?"   , Giegue asks, arms crossed.

"Even if one of you is a full time member, I know neither of you well enough to be certain."

   "Ninten knows us well enough to trust us. Do you trust him?"   

"..."

Botar's head begins to glow.

"Member or not, all three of you will have to go through the hallway, to be completely certain.", he says with a tone of finality, conceding, but only with that condition. Giegue nods, accepting this. He'd usually be a bit more insulted, but, probably like Shadow and Giygas, he doesn't want to waste any time right now.

Pseudo's Base

Before the three know it, they'll then be warped into Pseudo's base, in the room before the dark hallway. Shadow should be able to sense right away that warping abilities are limited in this building. Even if he had a Chaos Emerald on him right now, Chaos Control probably wouldn't work.

Megan was genuinely taken aback by Varik's move - and as a consequence, failed to dodge. She got blighted as a further consequence of that, and quickly set about correcting this via nulberry.    "I can't imagine that my hunter doppleganger liked this very much... Not hard to see why, either!"   

After scronching the berry, she threw in a quick stab to the head, trying to aim for what she thought might be a structural weak point in the horns.

Reyna and Sporacles are on their way back to the fight, but it's gonna take them a sec...

Varik will... somehow... be able to tell that his attack did about as much damage as a properly charged one, and it has an anime light-slash effect on impact that indicates it was a critical hit - but the audio cue is a SMAAAASH!! rather than the normal sound!

Megan's attack also gets a critical hit on the head, sans SMAAAASH!! sound effect.

Alatreon sweeps its head to the side, spitting a number of rapid-fire water gobs that can inflict Waterblight, and leave oily puddles on the ground where they land.

Terlette parries the strike. Its Derak-bone composition negates the magic's attempt to spread, and she retaliates with a grab for the head. Her eyes flash purple again as she attempts to Mind Rape him into submission with Muta magic.

Shadow simply nods to Botar.

Post-warping, his brow furrows in response to the sensation of warp abilities being disabled.    "This had better not be a trap."   

Medic keeps the Über up, but doesn't hesitate to start backpedaling away from the fight, following Joshua.

Inner Sanctum, Forgotten Vale

Rin lies unconscious on a macabre take on an operating table, hooked up to an assortment of intravenous tubes. One injects a steady supply of sedatives to keep her unconscious, while another extracts blood for DNA testing. More are used on-and-off to artificially test reactions to stimuli.

A console updates, which Polyphemus turns to face.    "The final conversions done, it seems. A fascinating specimen, I must admit. Primitive in its design, yet the programming... nearly human. And this final thing... a memory, or rather a text file... instructions?"   

A mechanical arm lowers towards the Muse. Its tip opens up like a claw.

   "Fortunate that I could find such a powerful tool... and one so easily overwritten."   

The claw moves towards Rin's ear...

Rin's arm snaps out, grabs the instrument and crushes it as her clothing suddenly changes into a set of loose-fitting pajamas.

The cycloptic eye symbol turns red and cracks with anger.    "WHAT?! You have the audacity to defy us?! Increase the sedative dosage!"   

View of a Moonlit Night (月夜見 (Tsukiyomi) - Muse Dash)

The moment the tube starts increasing its rate of injection, all the way from once every five seconds to a constant stream, Rin rises from the table, shattering her restraints without even a hint of effort, and rips the tube out, letting it spill the fluids all over the floor. She rises to her feet, eyes still only half-lidded, and stares off emptily into the distance.

   "Neo Pseudo! What is this?!"   

"I think it's the Full Combat data mentioned in the files!"

   "YOU SAID THAT WAS COMPLETELY INACCESSIBLE!"   

"You think I know why?!" Neo activates various defense systems - plasma, machine guns, Guardian lasers - only for Sleepwalker Girl Rin to just smack away the projectiles and rush on ahead.

Neo Pseudo prepares to give pursuit, but Polyphemus halts him.

   "Rgh... I will not overlook this failure, but we had best cut our losses and let it go. That state responds only to a direct attempt to harm it, so no more of our equipment will be destroyed this way. Regardless... we already have all we need."

Vague Hub- Outdoor dining area

A nearly perfect looking girl was sitting at a table, notably seeming...a bit down. if a little worried, she was picking at her food.

"I just dont know whats happening."

she whispered as she picked more

Letting his left arm rest, Jishuki begins to weave handsigns with his right hand only. While it takes a bit longer, it still produces the desired effect, causing his chains to begin their movement in an attempt to restrain Killer Bat.

"You're definitely a pain..." he grumbles to himself. "I think I'll just kill you."

Varik looks genuinely stunned.

"It actually works.", he mutters to himself. He then grins a little, feeling much more confident already.

"Sorry pal, but I'm a bit more certain of our chances now.", he says to Alatreon right before the dragon attacks. Varik, a lot of his mental energy now restores, uses telekinesis on the incoming water gobs, forcefully trying to push them down to the ground, each at different parts in their trajectory. If successful, Varik should have been able to form an oily puddle trail between himself and Alatreon.

Upon which he'll immediately launch Whiteshock at the start of the puddle, letting the energy ignite the oil and sending a near-instantly-emerging wall of fire towards Alatreon.

Killer Bat, perhaps surprisingly, gets caught by the chains, even though he's shown the capability to retreat into the shadows.

He's grinning too. Is he up to something? Or maybe he thinks Jishuki can't actually back up his claim? There's no way to know his reasons quite yet. Not until Jishuku makes a move...

   "Your concern is understandable. But you don't need to worry. This hallway will simply scan us to see if we are indeed safe to allow into the base."   , Giegue says as he starts floating through said hallway without hesitation. If Giygas and Shadow follow him, they'll find that, indeed, nothing worrisome happens as they go through.

Once they get through and arrive in the Main Monitor Room, they'll find a mechanical being, somewhat similar to Botar◊ working behind the monitors, with Pilly◊ and Gutsman◊ carrying some heavy boxes into another room.

They'll also see Botar standing in the middle of the room, alongside Ninten◊, who is waving at someone who has already left the room and entered another hallway. Probably his friends.

"Looks like you're all safe.", Botar says to the three, causing Ninten to look at them too, looking surprised when he sees Giygas. Apparently Botar hadn't told him yet that they need his help.

Floating City

Pocky, the little Porky Bot that had been taken from the past, is walking around the place, seemingly exploring.

Terlette gets the grab, and Leesarix starts to howl and writhe...

until he knocks her hand away with an uppercut and roars as he releases an aura of darkness, now in a blind rage.

Hate as Black as the Void (The Black Dragon ~ Fatalis - Monster Hunter 15th Anniversary Orchestra)

Leesarix grabs Terlette and throws her into a nearby mountainside, then reaches a hand out to Jishuki and channels Genetic Magic, borrowed from gorgon ancestry.

If Jishuki looks at Leesarix, he will be rooted in place as his feet turn to stone, which the dark warrior will capitalize on by grabbing him by the head and smashing him into his knee rapid-fire!

They follow diligently. Shadow doesn't really react to anything besides Gutsman, at whom he raises an eyebrow and nothing else.

Giygas locks eyes with Ninten, remaining silent.

Floating City

Rin◊ passes by Pocky, eyes obscured by a shadow over her face. She doesn't acknowledge him.

Clenching his fist, the chains begin to constrict and tighten around Killer Bat with unimaginable force... That is until he glances over to Leesarix. The resulting make-out session between Jishuki's face and Leesarix's knee is a horrifying sight to behold. While he doesn't seem to be dead after all of that somehow, the chains do stop their tightening and go slack, dropping to the ground with a loud and heavy clank.

Despite Killer Bat's seeming confidence, he does wince when the chains start to constrict, definitely feeling the pressure.

However, after Leesarix attacks Jishuki, his grin grows wider, more cruel, as if this is what he'd been waiting for.

The moment that Killer Bat is free again, he raises his sword into the sky.

Hornet Assassin

He then fires the purple shards down towards the battlefield, aiming them at Jishuki without a bit of mercy as he tries to finish him off.

Ninten awkwardly smiles.

"Hey, Uncle Giygas. This is... a surprise, to say the least. What brings you here?", he says. He then looks at Shadow, still smiling, but not nearly as awkwardly.

"Oh, hey! Who might you be?"

Pocky also doesn't react at first, not having fully noticed her, his sight set more on the buildings.

After she's passed him though, he pauses for a moment before turning to her.

"Hey, you're the girl that brought me here." , he says, arms on his hips. "Would it hurt you to say hello?"

Suddenly, the ground beneath Leesarix erupts, blowing him off his feet. Terlette races back into the fight, eyes glowing a mix of magenta (Cardinum) and sky-blue (Meteo) to achieve flight as she rains down projectiles of other elements.

Leesarix snarls and cancels each attack with his own elemental channeling, before diving into a portal and back out directly above Terlette, aiming to tackle her to the ground.

Giygas remains silent, seemingly not wanting to spill the beans just yet.

   "I'm Shadow the Hedgehog."   

   The one I told you about before,    he adds.

Rin pauses for a moment, then keeps walking without looking back.

And Killer Bat's attack connects, shredding Jishuki to pieces! As he collapses to the ground, he suddenly explodes in a poof of smoke, which dissipates into... a log.

A single chain then sends itself careening towards Killer Bat's face, in an attempt to strike him. The real Jishuki is nowhere to be seen, however.

Killer Bat sees what he believes to be Jishuki's corpse, but doesn't get to see the truth yet, as Terlette's own attacks bear down from above and cause him to look up once he gets hit by the first one. He gets hit by a few more, at first trying to shield himself with his wings, but then furiously trying to retreat into the shadows for a bit.

Once he's near the ground, however, is when he gets hit in his beautiful face by the chain, stunning him, mostly due to pure shock. He foregoes retreating into the shadows for a moment, looking around rapidly to try to find Jishuki.

"Oh! So you're Shadow? Nice to meet you, my name's Ninten!", he happily says, raising a hand for a handshake, but Giegue floats up to him and literally pushes his hand back down.

   "I met up with Giygas for serious matters that we need to discuss with you right away."   

"Serious matters?", he asks, now looking more serious.

"Matters related to Magicant?"

"Huh? Hey! You can't just ignore me after bringing me here and leaving me alone!" , Pocky mechanically exclaims, angrily walking after Rin.

Terlette uses Janus + Cardinum to straight-up teleport out of Leesarix's way, though the strain of doing so while also maintaining flight causes her to wince slightly. She retaliates in kind with a diving kick, dragging him down to the ground as he madly thrashes...

   Magicant has been consumed by corruption. My counterpart and I both felt something amiss at the same time, and we believe that is because... Maria has fallen to it.   

Shadow says nothing.

Rin whips around and glares down at Pocky.

"No."

Oh fuck! Hey!

Ahh, here come that good girl Nanza, rushing towards Rin. She raise her hand above her head to try an high give. Aye my B, where were you at?

Killer Bat wouldn't have to wait long, as Jishuki suddenly erupts from the ground, trying to give him a good ol uppercut. That said, Jishuki himself looks incredibly worn out, as evidenced by the bloody arm and face, and he probably cannot take much more of a beating before being out of the count.

"This... This is annoying..."
