The Moon

Azrael smirked, whipping through the vertical slashes and tanking through the horizontal, albeit not without slowdown. He continues his approach, and aims to hop over Augus and spin kick him behind him before stomping on the ground, raising a small cliff in Augus's flight path.

The Moon — Accelerando

Augus was kicked, knocking him off his feet before the erupting cliff launched him up into the low-gravity sky.

He pointed Wailing Dark at the ground and, with a cocky smirk, the blade extended, smashing through the moon and pulling him back down to it when it retracted.

"Nice trick. Here's my take!"

With those words, he leapt up and attempted to bring Wailing Dark down on Azrael's head! Whether a successful hit, blocked, dodged, or diverted, it would shear open the very moon, causing a huge cliff to erupt right next to the battle and effectively cut (no pun intended) their room for fighting in half!

Any arenagoers looking up into the sky at that moment would have the opportunity to see the moon shearing itself in half, if they wished to pay enough attention to it.

The Moon

Azrael first tried to block Wailing Dark, but soon diverted it, the blade smacking the moon.

Azrael shakes it off and goes for a punch straight to Augus's head, searing with red energy.

Azrael: "This is more than a meal... it's an all-you-can-eat buffet!"

Somewhere

Yasha ceases his tireless chase, stops, and looks up at the moon above him.

He sees the smoke exploding outwards, the scar visible across its surface like a new crater.

"Augus..."

Roxas stares at the moon.

"Heh... Not worth the risk, but I bet Saïx would be real miffed to see that. Would be..."

Neuff witness the damage done to the moon, cupping her hand above her eyes.

Holy...

Lucina and company are heading back to the fort, until they spot the moon and the damage done to it. Lucina briefly stop to watch but get pushed along by Samsara!

Let's not gawk at the super-powered fight that could fall on us at anytime now!

Anakin is flying towards the fight on his spaceship, having felt two very strong disturbances in the Force. Then, he sees the moon being cleaved in half and wisely decide to stare at the fight from... as far away as the moon as possible.

Whiterun

Upon exiting the Drunken Huntsman after a few drinks, Thor's gaze turns skyward as he notices the moon apparently being cleaved in two.

"Odin's beard..."

Hjaalmarch

Loki briefly looks up at the moon being split in half by Augus and Azrael's fight... then proceeds to slow-clap.

"Well done, whoever's up there. You've certainly taught that moon a lesson it won't soon forget."

Solitude

Nicole glances at the spectacle playing out high above the Arena.

"Yeesh... I hope the Man in the Moon's insurance covers having your place cracked like a friggin' egg."

Anakin lands his ship near Winterhold, and climb out of it.

R2, stay put.

Winterhold

Ben sits cross-legged near the bridge leading to the College of Winterhold, meditating and allowing his thoughts to unreel. At the sound of a starship touching down nearby, however, his eyes snap open and he jumps to his feet.

Once he gets a good look at the new arrival, he breathes a sigh of relief upon learning that he'd been joined by a fellow Jedi, albeit one he'd never seen met before and was most likely from a completely different point in time. Still, another Jedi was another Jedi, so he makes his way towards where Anakin had landed his craft.

Anakin turn around and notices Ben. He decide to nod to him and step forward. He doesn't recognize the young man but the Jedi Order's big. It's not like every last Jedi personally know each other.

It's good to meet a familiar face. He says, nodding. Sort of.

Ben greets Anakin with a wave as he approaches. He didn't recognize the older man's starfighter or astromech, which definitely tipped the scales towards him being from another point in time. Although Kreia and Palpatine had taken the revelation pretty well, so he had no reason to worry.

"Likewise. I was beginning to wonder if I'd be the only Jedi to ever set foot here."

Chuckling lightly, he extends a hand towards him.

"I'm Ben, by the way. Ben Traviss."

Anakin accepts the handshake with his gloved hand. It’s kind of awkward because of an obvious reason.

Anakin Skywalker.

"Skywalker, Skywalker... Ren mentioned that he was searching for someone called Luke Skywalker, didn't he? Maybe this Luke is a descendant of Anakin's... Ah, let's not dive into that gundark's nest, Ben."

"It's an honor to meet you, Master Skywalker," Ben says, eyeing Anakin's gloved hand. "If you don't mind me asking, did something happen to your arm? Were you attacked by a wampa or a tuk'ata?"

Hm. Had a fight with a Gizka. Didn’t stand a chance.

He winces convincingly.

A Sith Lord. It was... heated. He won’t get the chance to do it again though.

And it wasn’t a Gizka Sith Lord.

Ben simultaneously winces in sympathy and chuckles at Anakin's joke.

"Ouch. Well, at least he didn't cut off your head or infect you with the rakghoul plague, so... it could have been worse," he replies. "Who was the Sith Lord that took your arm?"

Rakghoul? He asks, before shaking his head. He calls himself Darth Tyranus. His actual name is Dooku. He's a fallen Jedi skilled in the art of fighting with a lightsaber, which is why he was even able to do that.

"You know, the rabid mutants that stalked the lower levels of Taris? Regardless, thank you for telling me about this Darth Tyranus/Dooku," Ben says. "If he's as skilled with a lightsaber as you say, I hope he never finds this place. The last thing I need is yet another Sith skulking around here..."

My power have doubled twice since the last time he and I met. Say Anakin. I do not fear him.

I've gotten myself into fights with beings that might be more dangerous than him, though. Like this regenerating droid, or the purple alien.

He appears not to know what Taris is, but chose not to just continue it.

Before Ben can even consider explaining Taris and the rakghoul plague to Anakin, the part about a regenerating droid catches his attention. That, and he was aware that not every Jedi shared his interest in history.

"Wait. Did you say something about a regenerating droid, Master Skywalker? As in, a droid that can repair itself?" he asks. "That's... impossible. Not even the Republic's greatest droidsmiths have been able to accomplish something like that."

Indeed. It was quite sturdy as well. I had to flee from it, to my regret... though perhaps it was wiser to do so instead of foolishly attempting to slay it.

I had more success with the purple assassin, though I had... some help.

"Sounds to me like retreating was the smartest choice you could've made," Ben says, unclipping his lightsaber from his belt and playing with it a little. "And who was this purple alien assassin you fought? Someone working for the Hutts?"

He wasn't exactly forefront with that. We were able to fend him off though, so he fled.

Anakin smirks in triumph.

He did seems to have the ability to improve in fight. And not his technique, I mean. His power and speed was increasing with each second.

Ben lets out a low whistle.

"This assassin must have either been either Force sensitive, a cyborg, or... something else entirely. Thank the Force you managed to drive him off before he could kill whoever his target was."

Yes. He replies, matter-of-factly.

It was a girl. She... had powers of a sort, not tied to the Force. Everyone else seemingly had power of their own, this was pretty crazy, needless to say.

"As someone who's met and fought a Sith from the distant future here, among other things, I believe you," Ben replies, tossing his lightsaber into the air and catching it. "What other powers did the people who fought the assassin use?"

They could summon forth intense physical might and gain wings. One of them..

He blinks once and twice, remembering what Ben said about the Sith Lord (or rather, catching up to it).
