The moment Hero loses his sword, he unleashes Kafrizz, a whopper of a fireball that will make a big hard-hitting explosion if it hits anything, on the Arch Mogalls!
Joker pulls out a fucking gun and starts shooting on Jedah, making a lunging step to move closer with each shot he fires.
"He's gearing up for war."

Ryoma charges forward and skillfully dodge the horse with an acrobatic movement. The spear does hit him right as he get back up, trailing along his arm and even hitting part of his face, leaving a red big line ! However, the crown prince is man enough to withstand such injuries, and he stab at Rudolf with great fervor, bolstered by his wounds!
Morgan look happy at the teamwork, and grins, attempting to high five Beruka. Beruka ignores her and instead look at Jedah.
This man... we won't get him unless we attack at the right moment, and coordinating won't be so easy to us. He'll hear our shout too.
I know who we could use to defeat him. I think Samsara knew in advance too!

Morgan points at Saizo, who appears slightly interested at first...

And then attempts to quickly finish off Nuibaba before she can actually retaliate, with a strong punch!
Hm. Doesn't quite live up to the description.
That was... oh, gross, yet cool! But Saizo, we need your help!
She points at Jedah, and Saizo seems to come to a conclusion, at the same time as Beruka.
I see what you want to do... I guess that this woman knew what she was doing. Let's go.
Saizo hang back, but the two women go for Jedah, Morgan begins to keep track of his remaining numbers of negations, while Beruka, to give the impression that they're not preparing a trap, prepare to attack with her axe.
Die.
Gregor looks at the cowardly Slayde and... laugh.
Alright friend! Let's go! The others need our help!
He turns around, gauging the battlefield and also preparing himself. Should/once Slayde inevitably betrays him, Gregor swiftly dodge the attack and attempts to defeat him with a single finishing slash of his own sword!
Coward... will need to really clean sword after this.

Once the initial surprise of having her target switched has worn off, Nicole unleashes a gout of Arcane Fire Breath at both Berkut and Rinea.

"Roll EXE, one of our guests, managed to create a Light Chip. If we can make Hub Hikari absorb its contents, he'll be purified, and he might join our side. Or, at the very least, give us information on the Assassins we cannot get ourselves.", Pseudo says.
Botar nods.
"As long as you don't take that possibility to its extreme and become too paranoid for your own good, I believe you're more worthy of your position than I first gave you credit for. With enough experience, you'll be able to tell which members you can and can't trust, and what the state of the Order really is."
Both the remaining Arch Mogalls are taken aback and get killed by the unforeseen attack, dropping the sword on the ground as they perish.
Ryoma manages to get a critical strike (not hit) in on Rudolf, piercing through part of his armor and stunning him, leaving him wide open to a follow-up attack.
Nuibaba has a moment of hope, where she believes he was swayed. That moment lasts as long as the rest of her life.
Gregor turns out to be right, as the little suck-up grabs a dagger the moment he thinks he's clear to attack. Well, that move costs Slayde his life.
The bullets hit Jedah, but he just laughs as his aura blocks them.
"Foolish boy. Your advanced weapons are nothing compared to Duma's Blessing."
He then sees Beruka and Morgan coming.
"You never learn..."
While he doesn't know they're planning anything, he still casts Death. Clive and Mathilda, however, realize that their allies have a plan, and, deciding that they are more expandable due to their wounds, they ride into the attack to take it instead. It costs them their lives, but it allows the others free passage.
Claire, while knowing why they did it, still looks heartbroken.
"Fernand... Mathilda... brother... we will win this. I swear it on my title and my life!"
She prepares to launch an attack, but doesn't do so just yet, as she too sees what they're doing, and she doesn't want to screw up the number of attacks, which currently stands at 2.
Jedah conjures up more Arch Mogalls now, which go after Alm, Faye, Celica, Saber and Conrad. Faye, Celica and Alm seem to be able to hold off their Arch Mogalls fine. Saber and Conrad, however, are too exhausted to take them on, and they go down.
Berkut looks at the flames as they close in. Then, with mad laughter, starts riding through the flames, emerging near Nicole like a devil from Hell itself as he tries to stab at her.
Of course, he didn't just dismiss the flames. They wounded him greatly. But he doesn't seem to care one bit.
Rinea, meanwhile, isn't all that badly hurt by the flames, seeing as her body is made out of fire too, and tries to cast Seraphim on Nicole, which is super effective against monsters.
Unfortunately, where these people come from, Dragons fall under that category too.

"Your sudden confidence in me is... somewhat jarring. Are you well?" asks Brutaka, only half-joking.
Hero picks up his sword.

He picks Acceleratle. Boy is go fast. He runs around the battlefield, looking for an opening.
Joker snaps his fingers. "Eiha!"
A bolt of darkness flies from his hand, flying in a straight line at a downwards angle. If it manages to damage Jedah before any other attacks do, it will inflict him with a curse, dealing lingering damage-over-time to him.

Beruka's eyes widen slightly, and she goes for an attack at Jedah, attempting to hit him. However, instead of trying to attack again, she back of and...
SAIZO!!!
Saizo focuses, and begins to run, deploying such breathless speed that he leaves afterimages of himself. They go in three separate directions each, but reform in the middle and Saizo accelerates, moving like lightning as he attempts to use the famed Lethality, a one-kill attack, to truly exploit Jedah's window of weakness! They can only hope that he can't shrug it off, so for the Sheperds, everything is up to Saizo, his speed (to go faster than Joker) and his skill!

... Have breathed your last! says Ryoma, at the same time as his retainer, as he swiftly attempts to uses a critical to defeat Rudolf, pouring the last of his strength in his thunderous attack!
Gregor attempts to help the remainder of the group with the creatures. Since he's not as exhausted as them, he even attempt to take down multiple of them!
Gregor here! Get behind him!

Nicole moves to catch Berkut's weapon, then attempts to punch him towards Rinea just before Seraphim connects, driving her back with a pained growl.

"We don't have the necessary tech. The only place that does is Hub's and Roll's home world, and most of the machinery there has been destroyed."
He then looks a little concerned.
"She has also refused the proposition to go back there and recover the tech we need. She looked terrified at the idea of going back. It's making me wonder if Hub isn't the only threat their world had to deal with."
"I say the things as they are. Usually that's not in a positive way, I know.", Botar says.
"I've decided I am putting faith in that you truly reformed. Though I should warn you. If you prove me wrong on this, not even Mata Nui himself will be able to convince me to not imprison you in a place worse than the Pit."
Well, the regular Botar seems to be back alright.
Eiha hits Jedah's aura, and he is about to cast Death again in an attempt to strike at both him and Beruka, when Beruka suddenly makes way for Saizo. Jedah can only look on in shock and disbelief, knowing fully well what Lethality is and recognizing its indicators. But Saizo is much too fast for him to dodge...
Rudolf, too wounded to move, can only witness as Ryoma's attack closes in...
Lethality hits.
Ryoma's Critical Hit hits.
Rudolf and Jedah stumble backwards, gasping as they fall on the ground.
Rudolf shows a proud smile.
"You've slain me. You... are powerful. But do not... underestimate the others. If you want to free everyone... from the Blood Contracts... strength alone... will not... be... enough..."
He then fades, turning back into a card.
Jedah, on the other hands, seems to be unable to comprehend that he lost.
"Aah... this cannot be... It musn't..."
His voice turns weak and nasally.
"Lord Duma... My Lord... Dumaaaa..."
He too then turns back into a card, and the Arch Mogalls disappear, though not before Gregor manages to still take one of them down. Only Berkut and Rinea remain on the enemy side.
Berkut's weapon is caught, but a dark flare emits from it, which'll either force Nicole to let it go due to the pain, or it'll start damaging her hand to the point that it may actually be outright destroyed.
Regardless of what she does though, Berkut is punched back and falls off of his horse. Rinea dodges, then suddenly takes off like a rocket towards Gregor, Alm, Faye and Celica, aiming for Faye specifically.
Faye is frozen in place from fear, and Alm pushes her to the side, which results in him taking the attack himself...
"Alm!"
"Alm!"
As Rinea floats above the group, Alm shows only a smile at seeing that Faye is alright. He then turns back into a card.
Tears start rolling down Faye's face before she turns to Rinea, glaring.
"YOU! I'll take you down even if it KILLS me!"
She and Celica look ready to fight Rinea, while Clair flies to Nicole's aid, attempting to attack Berkut, but his armored horse gets in the way and pushes her back.

"You know, an uncorrupted MegaMan.EXE exists. He is linked to another incarnation of Mega Man in this realm. It is possible his own world could produce another Light Chip, or at least something similar. Why don't I ask them about it?"

Hero comes sprinting towards Berkut at super speed with a leaping slash!
Joker stands still, hand on his mask, as bluish fire springs up around him. If struck, he will greatly reduce the damage taken and will not flinch.
"He's gearing up for war."

Saizo grunts and turn to Joker.

He helped us with the countdown! And he didn't know about our plan! You did good mister... mister... black?
They turn around and notice Alm's death. Ryoma almost lunge in rage but his wounds are too heavy for him to fight just yet. Morgan seems genuinely upset, visibly tearing up and shaking her fists.
No! I... can't we save a single one of them?!
Calm down. It's only those two, and one is tangling with that dragon.
Saizo prepare his shurikens, and both he and Beruka look at Rinea.
Use Rally, and go heal the Hoshidian prince. We'll take down the... flying being.
Hmph.
Morgan nods, wipe her tears, and rally, pointing to the sky and buffing her two partners before heading for Ryoma. Beruka take off first, with Saizo running not so far behind her. Beruka take off and slash at Rinea with her axe, and the third in-line jump, launching some shurikens. He then land on Sirius and jump off it, spinning acrobatically in the air and tossing more of the shurikens at her. They both seems to be going all out, at least going by the way the ninja is pulling off these acrobaties.
Okay. Serious.
Gregor focuses, and prepare to strike at Rinea from his spot, though he seems ready to take a blow for the Einherjars too, going by his body language.

Dropping Berkut's weapon shortly after punching him, Nicole flies towards Berkut himself before attempting to blast him with a point-blank Arcane Beam.
"Do you think their tech is interchangeable? If so, we could give it a try, just in case something happens.", Pseudo says.
"What, were you not starting to get worried if I'd hit my head or something?", Botar asks with a sly, teasing grin. He then shakes his head.
"Regardless, I look forward to see what the future brings. Oh, as a showing that I truly am pleased that I can trust you as an Order Member, let me share a detail with you that you may like. Or you may find it nerve-wracking. How you feel about it is not up to me."
He crosses his arms.
"Axonn has recently become a full member of Pseudo's organization. He is from my world, and as I've told you, our version of you was last seen as his traitorous self, thanks to Vezon ending Mata Nui's life. In other words, he has not seen a reformed version of you. I could potentially arrange a meeting between you both, should you want this."
Berkut blocks Hero's attack with his lance.
"Look at this! Look at THIS! They're gone. All of them are gone. Alm is gone! BUT I'M STILL STANDING! This just proves it! I was right all along! That hick isn't worthy of the throne, but I am! I AM! Duma was right to choose me to inherit this power!"
Rinea... appears to look sad upon hearing him speak. Still, she keeps fighting just the same. She gets slashed by the axe, backing off, and gets hit multiple times by shurikens.
As Faye prepares an attack, Rinea suddenly screams like a banshee and unleashes a wave of flames that can potentially hit everyone around her. Faye and Celica get hit and fall on the ground, though both of them survive. Their wounds are close to fatal though.
Berkut, meanwhile, gets blasted by Nicole and hits the ground, after which Clair stabs him in the leg and keeps her lance there, trapping him there to allow the others to finish him off.
"You uncouth freak, laughing about Alm's death!? This will be the end for you!"
"No... NO!"

Gregor is hit and nearly fatally wounded too. Beruka herself, in spite of her buff, is hit pretty badly, falling to the ground and ending up pinned beneath Sirius. She seems to remain calm even as Sirius panic. It's mostly a lie, but she still remains composed for someone who's practically pinned beneath two tons of angry flying dinosaur.
Saizo, thanks to his existing res and the buff, is less affected than the others. His scarf and mask are destroyed and his pants and shirt are also tattered (though not at certain places), exposing burnt skin. This seemingly strip him of a weapon... until Morgan toss him a steel sword!
Now! she says. Saizo leap for an attack with the sword, while Morgan uses Ignis to launch her trademark spell, Thoron, at Rinea! Even Ryoma attempts to add in, swinging his sword with his functional arm to toss lightning at her.

"I... I would like that. Please excuse me." Brutaka turns away and opens up a portal with his Kanohi Olmak, clearly trying to escape further awkwardness, but as he steps towards it, he suddenly falters and stops.
"Botar..."

He points at Berkut as a ball of darkness flies from his hand. If it touches Berkut, there is a chance that it will make the Einherjar instantly and quietly cease vital functions entirely.
Joker gets hit by Rinea's fire, absorbing the damage and unmasking himself to summon his Persona, Arsene!
◊ He pulls out his gun again and starts shooting at Rinea with three-round bursts, trying to weaken her and/or distract her.
Seeing as Berkut was practically done for, Nicole reverts back to normal and takes a moment to catch her breath, looking around in case this might be a trap as she does so.
"Alright. Contact me when you've returned with news on the matter.", Pseudo says with a nod.
Botar nods and looks ready to go as well. He halts when he hears Brutaka say his name.
"Yes?"
While the bullets mostly go through the spiritual Witch, they still work in distracting Rinea, allowing the sword strike, Ryoma's lightning, and Thoron to strike her, making her scream in pain.
Berkut hears this and turns his head to look at her right before Hero's attack strikes.
"... Rinea?" , Berkut weakly, worriedly asks, before it's lights out and back into a card for him.
Rinea, barely alive, opens her eyes to see him perish. Instead of wrathful, she looks solemn, and as such doesn't dodge Faye's furious Seraphim attack.
"Wait, Faye, you don't have enough health left to-", Celica tries to warn, but Faye doesn't care. She said she'd kill her even if it'd kill her too, and she meant it.
After Seraphim hits, Rinea dissolves, looking peaceful, and turns back into a card. Faye nearly collapses, but then finds herself with just enough energy not to die, thanks to Celica using Heal to save her.
"Celica?"
"Alm... sacrificed himself for you...", Celica weakly says. "He'd want you... to live..."
"He wants you to live too!", Faye says. She then looks around wildly.
"A healer!? Please, anyone! I can't cast magic without dying, please, someone..."
Clair, as she takes her lance back and starts picking up the scattered cards, looks at them, unable to help since she cannot heal.
Nicole, meanwhile, will be able to see a large, clearly-evil-looking knight
◊ standing on top of the platform of the Respite, looking at them all.
He doesn't seem to really be doing anything save for watching, but he clearly looks dangerous. Best be on guard.

Morgan hops over to Celica, and attempts to heal her. While it does weaken her, she's not weak enough to be put at death's door, though she has to sit down. After that and Ryoma, she look pretty spent, in a "i need to sleep".
Beruka gesture under her wyvern, though without the sound of battle, it sounds calmer. Still, she might need an hand. Saizo sit down, and simply cross his legs, as if meditating. He'd look sexy if it weren't for the wounds.
Oh wow... we got... wow... was pretty intense fight.
I agree, my friend. says Ryoma, getting up. He look over, and tries to help Beruka with Sirius so far. This leaves Morgan to speak to the Einherjars.

and winning pretty handily. Mata Nui stabs at his chest, but the strike simply clangs off, and Teridax floors him with a simple open-palmed swat to the back of the head.
"You disappoint me, Great Spirit. I suspected that if I ever had to battle you one-on-one while you were fully awake, you would actually pose a threat to me, but clearly the man doesn't match the myth, hmmm?"
Joker simply puts his mask back on and turns away, trying not to show emotion for the people he just met.

Nicole, upon noticing the demonic-looking knight looming above them, grasps the hilt of Olympus' Wrath with one hand as she waits to see what he plans on doing.
"Is... that dude the Black Knight Anna told me about? Didn't think he'd look like the friggin' Grim Reaper..."
Once Meta Knight is gone, Pseudo looks around for Botar and walks below decks to try to find him.
Botar walks up to the portal, looks through, and his expression shifts to a mixture of shock and fury.
"I'm going in there!", he says, loud enough for Pseudo to hear.
"Botar? What's with the ruckus? What's-"
Without a word, Botar suddenly warps him back into his base.
Morgan's and Hero's combined Heals are enough to save Celica's life. She remains standing strong on her feet, and Faye forgets her one-sided rivalry for now to hug her, crying a little.
"Celica, you idiot! Alm, Kliff, Tobin and Gray are gone... if you died too, I..."
Celica shows a kind smile and hugs her back.
"The same would go for me if you hadn't made it through, Faye."
Clair approaches, having picked up all of the cards.
"Good news, our other friends they killed before we split up to find help were still on them. We've reclaimed everyone."
"Thank Mila.", Celica says, both her and Faye looking relieved. They then look at everyone else, showing a sympathetic look to Morgan.
"Don't say that. Without you, none of us would've made it out. We fought so that as many of us could get away. I think we'd all be happy, and just as grateful as the three of us are to you."
"We are in your debt.", Clair says, doing an elegant bow as her pegasus walks up behind her, nuzzling her face a little. The pegasus then appears nervous though, and, following its gaze, the three Einherjar look at the knight that's overlooking them all.
"How powerful. How thrilling...", he says, his voice dark, low and raspy. If his looks didn't scream 'evil', his voice definitely does.
"This could be fun..."
"Who is that creepy clod!?", Clair asks, intimidated.

"Wait!" Brutaka holds out a hand to cover the portal. "I will help Mata Nui hold off Teridax. You must go and retrieve the other members of your Order within Pseudo's organization!"
His expression softens a tad. "It is time to put your faith in me to the ultimate test."
Without another word, he goes in.
Teridax lifts up Mata Nui, dangling him by the foot... but then a protosteel dagger thrown by Brutaka strikes him in the arm, making him drop the Great Spirit.
Brutaka dives in to block Teridax's front, using his superior height to do so.
"Foolish, Brutaka." Teridax steps back and blasts him with dark energy.
"Back off!" Joker yells. "We aren't going to give you a satisfying fight if you come at us now!"
"Or, we'll crush you!" Hero interjects, running over to help Beruka.
"He's gearing up for war."
Divine Burden
Morgan listens to Celica and nod in grateful understanding. Meanwhile, Beruka, Hero and Ryoma work together to get the former to free herself from her spot. She nods gratefully to the two but promptly check for two objects in her pocket : While the coin survived the attack. Some black pendant is damaged, though. Not to the point of not being repairable, but she still seems upset at its loss.
However, Ryoma can't investigate, since the mysterious newcomer make himself known. Ryoma draws his sword, but the other Sheperds can't even get up.
It's a miracle that I'm even alive.
Damn it all...
Gregor is... gregor... I... I have no joke to say for this one.
Morgan just look exhausted.

He then watches as Brutaka enters the portal.
"Brutaka!"
He pauses, growls, and then warps back into Pseudo's base, near Helryx's and Lesovikk's room. He opens the door pretty harshly, making Lesovikk jump. Helryx just gets up, as she had been meditating on the floor.
"Botar? What's the matter?"
"An emergency. We're taking everyone of ours here into battle."
"Everyone? Without preparation?"
"We have no choice! Mata Nui could die and Brutaka is all alone!"
"Brutaka?", Axonn asks, who'd come to inspect the noise. Botar turns to him, then nods.
"Get everyone ready, now!"
Axonn, after just a slight pause, nods. He and Lesovikk rush into the hallway.
The knight chuckles sinisterly.
"In the states you're in, all you'd meet is death."
He then shakes his head.
"I've set my eyes on you. We will play... soon enough."
His horse starts moving, at first towards the group. Celica and Faye are in no condition to fight, so Clair stands in front of them, just in case.
Once the knight is close to the group though, he stops moving.
"I am the Death Knight... Fear it. Laugh at it. It matters not, as long as you do not forget."
He then turns away from the group and starts leaving the area, confident enough to turn his back to them as he leaves. Yeah, they are wounded, but still.

"That's a good idea. But it's best to remain wary. We still don't know everything there is to know about the Assassins.", Pseudo says.
"Speaking of them, there's a chance we may be able to steal another one of them away sometime soon."
"I would not give my life for the sake of the Order of Mata Nui.", Botar says. "I would give it for the sake of Mata Nui's life, and for the sake of the universe, but not for the sake of the Order."
His grin changes more into a smile. A real rarity to see on Botar's face.
"Because what is most important is that the world remains as stable as possible, so that Mata Nui's subjects can live in peace. The Order does not have to be the one to do that, and should the Order ever become corrupt, like the Makuta did, continuing to be devoted to them to the point of giving your life would only end up harming the people you've sworn to protect."
One Arch Mogall bites it. But the remaining two suddenly attempt to wrap their tentacles around Hero's sword and, if successful, will attempt to pull it out of his grasp, unaware that Hero doesn't require his sword to fight.
Marla only has a second to turn and look in shock before she gets assaulted by Joker and the Phantom Thieves. The multi-attack is enough to take her out. With merely a gasp, she fades away, leaving just her card behind.
The Witches that she summoned disappear as well, without leaving cards behind. This allows the group of six to fight a more even battle against the remaining 5 that Hestia summoned.
Once Beruka has taken the coin, Alm nods to her, then charges off onto the battlefield alongside Celica. Faye, while she looks pretty jealous at this, keeps her focus on the fight and runs forward too, preparing a Nosferatu.
The combination of Thoron, Conrad's incoming lance attack, and Beruka's axe is enough to take Desaix out as well.
"No problem. Remain vigilant. As long as the Witches and Jedah are still alive, their reinforcements will be endless."
Rudolf seems pleased at the mutual respect between the both of them. He then notices Alm and Celica headed his way and looks wistful again for a moment. He turns back to Ryoma.
"Let us continue, and end this fight. ... before he gets here.", he says, apparently referring to Alm. He doesn't state why though, and before Ryoma can ask, Rudolf outright jumps off of his horse, the steed charging Ryoma from the left to try to bash him, while Rudolf jumps towards the right with a sweeping lance attack.
To probably Gregor's even bigger disgust, Slayde actually nods to this.
"Oh yes, oh please, I've learnt my lesson! I... I'll join you! Yes! I'll help you fight Rudolf! He's not even my king anyway, I'm a knight of Zofia, not Rigel!"
There's no sign of him preparing a hidden attack yet, but Gregor's experience should tell him that this guy is going to strike the moment Gregor's back is turned.
Nuibaba gets grabbed and ends with her face on the ground.
"W-wait, do not kill me! I can give you the gift of immortality! I'm hundreds of years old, I'm living proof that it's possible! You and your liege could live forever!"
Claire sweeps in against Jedah, who dodges the attack. Before he can strike though, he gets struck by Clive, but the aura comes up again. Then Mathilda hits him, and the attack actually goes through, Jedah getting stabbed in the shoulder and backing off a bit. Enraged, he casts Death, knowing that Mathilda's armored horse won't be able to dodge from this close.
That, however, is when Fernand bashes her out of the way, taking the attack instead and ending up on the floor, slowly dissolving as he's turning back into a card. Both Mathilda and Claire are stunned into silence while Clive looks furious at Jedah.
"Unfeeling monster!", he yells, charging at him again, only for the aura to come up again and protect him. Clive glares and Jedah grins.
Hestia now gets involved too, warping behind the group fighting the Witches and launching an Aura attack that takes out Boey, Mae and Genny. Saber, enraged, attacks Hestia with a critical hit, striking her down and taking her out too. As such, the Witches that Kamui was now fighting on his own disappear.
Seeing Nicole transform actually makes Berkut pause for a moment, only to leave himself wide open.
However, Rinea intervenes, casting Entrap to warp one of her enemies in front of Berkut. Kamui is the unlucky victim, and before he can even realize what's going on, he's grabbed and slammed into the ground, which kills him due to his earlier wounds.
