Spreading his own wings once again, Viserys flies back just in time to avoid being scraped across the ground by Shara Ishvalda's claw-like wing. Ascending higher into the air, he unleashes Wyvernrend at the behemoth with a mighty Shout of "Ro... Sil Lein!"

The spartan continues firing short bursts from his cannon towards the beast as he is far enough away to have not been affected by the hand tail.

Lucina dodge and begin running forward, dragging Falchion along the ground and covering part of her face with her cape.

A confused Samsara approach Omega!Rey, raising an eyebrow in interrogation.

Yes?

Shara Ishvalda is hit by Wyvernrend, but in a strange twist, this seems to piss it off more.

It rises up on its hind legs and points its wingtips down at the ground. What happens next is rather startling - they fire beams of vibrating air into the ground in front of Shara, sweeping outwards a good distance. Despite appearances, the air-beams are incredibly strong. Eventually, though, Shara stops and drops back to all fours. It then steps backward while raking a claw in front of itself like in its previous attack.

11:58 and 12:41, respectively.

Reyna lands the Condensed Element Slash due to how long Shara's wind-blast attack takes, powering up her Charge Blade even further. She then gets blasted away by its wings.

Awkeff looks on in shock, interrupting her spell charge. Eventually, she gets ahold of herself and dives through the wind (tanking the pain) to try and stab Shara Ishvalda in the forehead.

Toothless gets hit by the wind-blasts. He leaps up and calls down lightning upon Shara Ishvalda.

Omega Rey pulls out Rey's Vive controllers and points them at Samsara's dual blades. The controllers become a pair of near-perfect replicas of the blades, leaving the genuine articles untouched. "That's all, thanks." He rushes at Shara Ishvalda and launches himself into the air with a burst of dark energy.

Samsara looks mightily confused, but follow suit anyway, leaping unto some rocks to prepare a wheeling dance of death.

Lucina uses Falchion to block but get blown back.

Argh!

"Wait, what the fuck?! That... that usually works..."

Too stunned by the sight of Wyvernrend failing to have any effect on Shara Ishvalda, Viserys takes several wind-blasts right to the chest and is summarily launched into the nearest wall.

"Argh... Thank the Divines for Sapphire Starlight..."

Once he's had a moment or two to recover, the Nord Dragonborn takes flight once again, makes a beeline straight for Shara Ishvalda, and attempts to drive the Infinity Sword through its forehead, attacking in tandem with Awkeff.

Joshua activates armor lock, tanking the wind. He groans in pain, before promptly disengaging the lock and stumbling backwards. The Spartan takes out his Gauss Cannon once more, aiming it for the beast's head. He flips a switch on the beast of a weapon, and activates armor lock... locking him in place. The cannon begins charging a massive beam,

"I need some protection while I get this."

Turn 1/3

Shara Ishvalda gets stabbed, and in combination with the other attacks, it falls down on its side. Completely, perfectly still, unlike all other monsters which have struggled desperately to get up once toppled. Its slow, ominous breathing is the only clue it's not outright dead.

"Not anymore," Reyna snarks to Joshua. She has one more thing to do before she can finally unleash what she's been setting up for. She fires her Clutch Claw at Shara Ishvalda, grappling onto its neck, and proceeds to stab it with her Charge Blade before brutally slamming the weapon down to the ground, carving a gash that will weaken Shara Ishvalda's neck area for a short time.

Awkeff just stabs again.

Toothless starts climbing the nearest intact wall, getting ready for something.

In midair, Omega Rey uses another burst of dark energy to achieve a semblance of Demon Mode's propulsion abilities, coming down with a whirling slash at Shara Ishvalda, which promptly chains into the mighty Heavenly Blade Dance, spinning down the length of the Elder Dragon in a flurry of slashes!

Flourishing the Infinity Sword, Viserys moves into melee range before taking a quick slash at Shala Ishvalda's neck.

The Spartan released armor lock, and let off the partly charged blast into the rock wall leaving a large hole in it. He breathed deep, he was certainly had his suspicions. The beast seemed to shrug off blasts from his Cannon, there was no way it was dead right?

"Dot, scan for life."

"Alright."

His HUD lit back up, as Dot attempted to scan for any signs of potential life from the beast. The Spartan raised his Cannon again, aiming it at the beast for even the slight chance it was still alive.

Samsara activates Demon Mode again and activates Heavenly Blades Mode too, spinning around like a beyblade.

Checkmate!

In spite of the shredding, Shara Ishvalda gets back up.

It converges its wingtips in front of itself, and proceeds to cross the streams in order to unleash a Wave-Motion Gun of pure vibration and noise, sending itself skidding backwards from the pressure and obliterating chunks of the ground in its path, and causing the ground to tremble.

13:24.

Reyna, Awkeff, and Toothless are all blown across the battlefield. Only Omega Rey avoids the blast, due to being behind Shara.

Reyna pops a Dust of Life, healing herself and her allies.

Awkeff gives Reyna a silent nod in gratitude. She flies back up to Shara Ishvalda and uses the charged-up vertical power attack of Tenebrae. By striking the blade to the ground, she creates a gray void-like field on the ground, slowly sapping away at the Everwyrm's vitality as long as it stands on that field.

Toothless stays down for now.

Omega Rey silently wishes he had a Clutch Claw. He fires a barrage of Rapid Bolts at Shara Ishvalda from behind, trying to turn its aggression on him. Bold, but foolish.

Gateway Ruins (Past)

   "I've noticed,"    the draconid said dryly.    "It should be here soon, so be ready."   

A dark, looming shape made itself known from the depths of the rift...

Thranix writhed in pain, and had to use both Indomitable and Second Wind just to bring himself into a stable enough position to get back to his feet.

Aila charged forward, swinging her blade in a guarded cleave, covered by her shield. She swung down with a slight right-to-left diagonal motion, trying to catch Vahasia in the neck.

Vahasia grabbed Geralt's sword by the blade, and tried to yank it — and him — over so that he and Aila would get caught up in each other's strikes. Even if she couldn't properly wrestle it away, she would at least make sure she had stepped out of the way of one strike, and palm-blocked the other with her chitin-clad hand.

She went to retaliate, but found herself with a punch of poisonous spit in her face. She paused, lowered, her blade, and seemed disappointed. Raising a hand to her face in exasperation, she said,    "I take it back, you're all stupid."    She resumed a fighting stance, and moved over to engage Riki, attempting to chuck, punt, or otherwise force him into the path of Otto's portal chain.

Lake of Souls - Hell

   The Harbinger    stood still for a moment unsure of his purpose, it seemed the Hell he once knew was no longer there replaced by a gray landscape devoid of color and life. There we no Screams of the Damned no Pits of Hellfire to suffer in, just barren and void.

Then a feeling of emptiness formed within himself, something he could not quite shake. He was missing parts of his soul, parts of his history, and he could feel them far from the lake. It would seem that as he was gathering souls of the dead four crucial parts snuck away before his own rebirth, though he was unsure of why or how this came to be. With no sense of self and only one direction that his subconscious seemed to lead him, he would travel to the east of the lake in (what he had hoped) would be the cause of this directional feeling.

Viserys is blown across the battlefield as well, Sapphire Starlight fading away as he tumbles along the ground.

"Damn..."

Upon being healed, he offers Reyna an appreciative smile before climbing to his feet.

"Mul... Qah Diiv!"

With his own Dragon Aspect now activated, he rushes towards Shara Ishvalda and stabs the ground at its feet with the Infinity Sword, resulting in a massive fiery explosion.

The Spartan dived behind a rock for cover from the attack,

"So much for it being dead!"

He shouted to no one in particular, he repositioned himself to be at the side of the beast and began to charge the same attack as before. Engaging Armor Lock, he was once again locked in place as his Gauss Cannon started to charge.

"I'll say it again, some protection would be fantastic!"

Filia could feel it, Hell. Her connection to the dimension was slowly returning, what awoke it? It couldn't be her father, could it? No, he was dead. She couldn't feel him. The demoness attempted to open a portal to her home, but could not manage to do so. Her connection was still weakened significantly, but she would be able to open a way soon enough. The demon was enraged by this, letting loose a torrent of raw arcane energy towards a massive pillar of ice that was easily comparable in size to a mountain. It was completely obliterated, the demoness took a deep breath to calm herself. Filia continued on her way, heading deeper into the icy region.

Samsara is behind the beast as well, though the sound deafen her and cause her to drop out on her knees in agony. Lucina, meanwhile, is hit by both the blast and sound, but quickly uses Falchion to partially heal herself.

Shara Ishvalda rears up on its hind legs, then falls forward, planting its wingtips in the ground on either side of it. And then it roars, pumping vibrations into the ground all around it, turning roughly half the battlefield (randomly arranged) into liquid sand.

Then it rises on its hind legs again and roars again, causing all the sandtraps to explode violently.

20:17 for both.

And when it finally lowers down long enough to be seen...

Its eyes have opened, and... it's not a pretty sight.◊

Its gaze immediately fixes upon Toothless, but it's not looking at him. It's looking past him, through him. There's nothing behind him... right?

Reyna finally does the thing. While Shara Ishvalda is gearing up to start fighting for real, she unleashes the full power of her Charge Blade in a Super Amped Element Discharge, creating a chain of electrical explosions with a grand sweeping swing of the axe mode!

Awkeff flies up to avoid the sand, but the explosions send chunks of rock into the air, bashing into her. She notices Shara Ishvalda's eyes and promptly gags.

Toothless picks himself up. He attempts to lock eyes with Shara, until he realizes where it's looking. He looks behind himself... nothing. Then he spits some mini-plasma-blasts at the Everwyrm.

Omega Rey gets buried in liquid sand and subsequently tossed into the air by the explosions.

Onyxis

An extremely suspicious-looking man◊ spots the pillar of ice and its destruction.

"Finally..." He flies over to the scene.

The 0 emblem normally on his left shoulder armor has been replaced by the swirling vortex emblem of Gravitas.

   "Ysmir's beard, that is horrifying!"   

Viserys quickly downs a wings potion and takes to the air just in time to avoid being caught in Shara Ishvalda's sand trap, though some debris from the ensuing explosions manage to knock him back. In retaliation, he hurls a Thunderbolt right at Shara Ishvalda's face.

I've seen worse ! Come!

Lucina avoid the attacks, and attempts to slash at the beast with a critical hit from Falchion. Samsara joins in with Astra, aimed at the beast's right leg.

"That's one ugly bastard!"

The spartan continued to charge his Gauss Cannon, a high pitched whine came from the barrel of the gun as the blue energy turned red. His barrel started to smoke, and his armor lock grew stronger.

"66% charged."

Filia sensed the oncoming man as he arrived, turning her head to him. She looked up, and spoke softly

   "Hello."   

The attacks leave their marks, but the damn thing won't stop.

Shara Ishvalda stomps right up to Toothless, rises up on its hind legs, and rakes its wings inward upon him. The ground explodes shortly after.

21:19.

Its gaze now fixes in the direction of Viserys.

Reyna sighs and drops a Farcaster, returning to the nearest camp so she can change weapons.

Awkeff watches, slightly confused, but then launches a few sword beams at Shara Ishvalda while it's ignoring her. She then notices who it's looking at next and panics internally.

Toothless jumps out of the way of the wing strike and takes flight, preparing to attack again.

Omega Rey picks himself up and summons a Harrowhawk familiar, commanding the undead bird to harass Shara Ishvalda with pecks and talons.

General Zod clears his throat.

"Ahem... Are you Filia, daughter of Krampus?"

Viserys noticeably shudders when Sharla Ishvala fixes its horrific gaze on him.

   "By the fucking Nine, that's terrifying... Did Molag Bal or Vaermina summon... whatever this monstrosity is?"   

He performs a few horizontal power attacks with the Infinity Sword and launches a barrage of fire blasts at his foe.

The spartan fires, his armor lock struggling to hold in him place while he fires the blast. A massive cylinder of red energy blasted towards the dragon leaving a crater in the ground between him and Shara Ishvalda. It was aimed to hit the beast's body, and obliterate it.

   "Indeed I am, and I believe I know who you are."   

Filia focused on the Kryptonian's shoulder, and noticed the symbol of Gravitas.

   "My suspicions were correct, you are from Gravitas are you not?"   

They continue to attack, with Lucina even attempting to use forth Aether.
