"Regardless of whatever the coming days might hold in store for us, good Lady Cinke, know that I am genuinely honored to be your friend. When you eventually return to the Arena, be assured that I will be there to welcome you back with open arms."

Pietro remains quiet, seemingly not wanting to disturb the moment.

Cinke briefly sighs on the other end of the "phone."

Thank you, Thor, and yes... may we meet again soon. she says, opting to be brief. Then, the telepathic link is deactivated, meaning that Cinke is probably back home. Some of the ships's computers switch as a result, exhibiting Platinum's symbol.

"This world is going to feel very strange without her eccentric charm..." Thor says.

"Hey, at least we'll still have all of Platinum's robo talk to joke about," Pietro replies, hoping to lighten the mood.

The two share a brief chuckle before noticing the change in symbols.

"Well, guess that means we're almost there. I wonder if we'll finally get to meet whoever Cinke brought in from that other universe."

"I assume you mean the 'ally' who apparently couldn't be bothered to defend her laboratory despite how powerful they supposedly are..."

The ship simply continue to progress forth, and eventually stop, drilling out of the ground as the liquid empties back into some holes in the ground. They're fairly close to the Dayspring Canyon.

Looks like there won't be a lab visit yet.

The Rift, Dayspring Canyon

Thor and Pietro get up from their respective seats before exiting the vehicle. Seeing as they weren't inside Platinum's new laboratory, the two men exchange looks.

"Okay... if we're not visiting this new lab, then what the hell should we do?"

"Well, I'm going to find... someone to talk with. You ought to continue searching for your vampire friend and gaining her help with our plan."

With that, the silver-haired speedster dashes away while the god of thunder takes off into the sky.

The vehicle depart as well, drilling back into the ground.

"What a butchering..." Konngara quietly sighs as she observes Krampus getting absolutely wrecked. "As heartless as he was, I feel like he deserved better for his last moments than getting diced like this." She stays her sword for now. Her contribution to this massacre barely feels necessary.

Krampus's Final Moment

The demon lord's body was cleaved through by the Dragearnis, three massive gashes in his chest appeared. Krampus did not scream, he did not move, he did not react to the damage that had been dealt to him. He knew he was defeated, his mind was elsewhere far into the deepest reaches of Onyxis. Krampus fell to one knee, the fire in his soul beginning to fade. His bright orange eyes faded to nothing, as the void spikes flooded in.

The spikes impaled him in various places, pinning him to the ground like a cross. The explosions tore his arms from his body, completely obliterating them as they slowly burned to ash. Everything Krampus had was not enough, he couldn't win. Yet he did not fear his death as the attacks came to him. Goku's punch tore a hole through his chest, as his primordial flame spilled out of the new hole like it was his blood. Krampus finally fell on both knees, Yamoshi's ki slamming him into a nearby wall. The demon lord still didn't let loose a reaction to the incredible pain he felt.

The demon's soul began to fade, the flame within him dieing at a rapid pace. Vanicos's punches slammed into the demon's body, only to be followed by SI!Omega's stand cry. the demon flew into the air and backwards several meters. He collided with the ground, as he couldn't really stop himself. He laid flat across the ground, staring upward to the peak of hell as darkness slowly filled his vision.

Onyxis

A demon stopped her path,◊ turning around and staring downward. She could feel him, Krampus. The final flickers of his black as night soul filled her mind as he slowly died. The demon's expression remained neutral, despite the pain she felt emanating from her father's soul as it slowly faded to nothing.

Hell - Krampus's Final Moment

Krampus continued staring at the sky, his life flashing before his eyes. Everything he had done, every moment of his horrid existence all came back to him at once. Not like it mattered, he remembered it all anyways. Not a single thought of fear, or regret as his soul slowly passed into nothing. His legs lit aflame, slowly spreading upwards as it began to completely disintegrate the demon lord's body. Krampus finally let loose a small laugh, even as he died. He spoke lightly and hoarsely,

   "What a spectacular fight, warriors. I gave you everything I have, even my own soul. As I sit here, helplessly burning away as my soul fades to nothingness I can't help but think of what would've happened if I had never come here. It was certainly a gross miscalculation to think of you all as something easily conquered in the first place, and an even bigger mistake to come back a second time. I hope you will not forget me."   

Hell itself recoiled as Krampus began to die. The dimension slowly became darker as Krampus's flame faded. A deep booming sound echoed across the now empty dimension as Krampus's body was nearing its final moment. All that remained was his head, as he let loose one final word before finally fading to nothingness. His voice was weaker than ever before, a mere whisper.

   "Daughter."   

As his body finally was destroyed, the dimension went black as night. The dimension was not hot or cold, it felt like nothing. The ground beneath the heroes too, felt as if they stood upon nothing at all. A moment later a faint light shone, a moment afterwards the heroes found themselves back at

The Throat of the World

Their original battlefield still carried some scars from their battle. Krampus, Lucifer of Hell had been defeated once and for all. It even seemed the heroes had destroyed Hell itself with the defeat of its leader. Finally the battle was over.

Onyxis

The daughter of Krampus finally looked upward. She stared forward, only the endless expanse of ice and snow filling her vision as she fell to her knees. She had felt the last echoing cry of his soul from within the deepest confines of Hell. She felt the dimension darken, her connection to it slowly fading to a mere whisper.

The demon steeled herself, standing back up. She turned back to her original path, and began walking once more.

Once everything is settled, Goku put two fingers on his forehead and leaves with Instant Transmission.

Throat of the World: Aftermath

Thranix was ejected out of the Dragearnis, stumbled slowly to his feet, and saluted Krampus — or at least, his memory.

"You were a fine warrior. You will not be forgotten."

Vanicos collapsed his armor back into his body, resuming his strangely skeleton-like form. He seemed exhausted. Perhaps the energy expenditure was not as easy as it seemed for him.

"Precusors keep your memory, Conqueror..."

Omega looked hollow, as he slumped down next to machine. His eyes stared at some distant nothing on the horizon, as a frigid wind blew through his bones.

"In another world, or another time, could things have been different...?" he said, to no one in particular.

The Requiem Arrow falls out of Omega, and Giorno goes to take it back.

"I will remember."

Yamoshi powers down. He promptly faints.

Null stood there, his skin charred as he looked around. The end of the fight. At last, he had seen the most powerful combatants the arena had to offer. And he had unlocked the void within him, he no longer had to control it. It came naturally.

Even now, he could feel its presence in his body, flowing through his veins like electricity.

He was tired, but now that his connection with the void was back, he felt just as energized. Now was the time, to plan.

He opened a void rift and walked through it, leaving the Throat of the World and everybody else without saying a word

Vague Estraole

Well, would you look at that. The living painting◊ and the organism comprised of 10% biological material and 90% ink◊ are presently getting their asses kicked by what is very blatantly a water dragon.◊ How unexpected.

Agent 8 stands over a partially-dissolved Paintra, ready to shield her with her own body against Namielle. While bold, that is an incredibly easy two-for-one deal that the Elder Dragon is fully willing to exploit.

"Help... help is on its way, right?"

"Of course it is. ... It has to be."

Namielle begins gathering up water in its maw.

In the distance, a winged black shape streaks through the sky. It performs a loop in midair, comes diving down toward the fight with an earsplitting shriek... and launches a bolt of plasma at Namielle before swooping back up in a blur of speed, striking the Elder Dragon with explosive force and making it stagger.

Namielle fires a high-pressure jet of water at Toothless, sweeping it to track him as he flies to evade. He calls down lightning upon Namielle... and it's hardly affected. Well that's a twist. The water jet catches the Night Fury by the wings and brings him plummeting to the ground.

Now at three-for-three, Namielle roars to the open sky.

Meanwhile, in Vague Reprium

A deathly spore-laden fog spreads through a sizable grove...

Sporacles is just sort of... hanging around. He glances at the spore-fog suspiciously.

"Hm..."

Good thing he's perpetually wearing scuba gear.

Vague Estraole

A thundering rhythm of giant footfalls came rumbling across the land, and a gleam of metal flashed in the distance. Megan, with the Wyvern Esper in it's humanoid form, was running at full speed into the fight, having caught a glimpse of Namielle as it flew to this point.

"A water dragon...? It's not like any that I've ever seen. Is this one from Reyna's world?," she said, thinking out loud. "... Shit, I miss Reyna."

She brought the mech around, skidding to a stop past the water dragon, but aiming to give it a solid punch to the head as the momentum carried her onward.

A shadow leap out of nowhere, and a figure attempt to crash into the monster's ribs, with great power behind her little dive!

...

Marie is just kind of chilling around the land, unaware of what's happening.

Namielle is caught off-guard by Wyvern Esper, and the sudden double impact sends it tumbling aside.

It stops on all fours and roars at the newcomers, rearing up on its hind legs. Then it drops back down and spews a torrential stream of water like a fire hose at the Wyvern Esper, prowling forward as it does so.

Suddenly a sizably large stream of monstrous animals, their bodies engulfed in this toxic miasma, come running at Sporacles and Marie with a chorus of enraged shrieks!

And then they go right past them, for at the center stalks a much bigger threat...

Marie will probably recognize the effects of the miasma as similar to the thing the Girros under Vaal Hazak's control were covered in.

"...?"

He watches the animals run by; tense, but not quite scared yet. Yeah, it's time to start breathing from oxygen tanks.

Sporacles notices Marie, but doesn't say anything yet.

Marie begins to hyperventilate, but wise up in time to... try and run away from where the things are going, not interested in existing anywhere near the spot.

...

Nanza, unusually silent for now, draws her sword and begins to charge it up with red energy.

The monsters are not going to a place, but from it.

And at their origin stands a nightmare in dragon form.◊

... Gross.

It unleashes a ghastly wailing roar as it seemingly sucks the miasma out of the smaller monsters' bodies from afar, absorbing it... and killing them.

The top of Blackveil Vaal Hazak's head is covered by fungal growths (in addition to most of the rest of its body), but if it's noticed the humans through something other than its eyes, it doesn't particularly care about their presence.

Marie doesn't notice the fungus dragon, but she run along all the way anyway, attempting to access a nearby shack of a sort.

"... What."

Well, it doesn't seem too bright? Maybe he can just walk up to it without aggroing it... So he tries that. Surprisingly stealthily for someone in that clunky of a getup, he ambles towards the dragon-creature.

He takes out his Thermoblade.

Blackveil Vaal Hazak doesn't notice Sporacles. It walks towards him, but then simply starts to move past him like he's not even there.

The fungi covering it are continuing to emit that miasma. Luckily, it doesn't spread far enough to reach Marie, and it can't get to Sporacles through his suit, but if it was breathed in then it would slowly chip away at the victim's vitality until they either lost consciousness or got away from the area.

Excellent. Just according to plan.

The scuba dude tries to sidle up towards the dragon, and walk along side it. He's tensed up in case it tries to swipe at him, buuut...

Marie enter the shack and close the door behind her.
