Fu notices the commotion on the outside of the rift. He closes his eyes and begins meditating.

Callis flies in on the scene outside, landing between Hub and Officer 'Ken'.

"The distortion you see in front of you is fragile and the situation is already bad enough as it is. Please do not try and interfere unless you're 100% aware of what you're doing and what's on the other side."

Most of the debris is destroyed by Goku. Then, however, the winds disperse, and a moment later Aeon Hero (Light) is trying to rush Goku down.

If his initial rush hits, he'll follow up with multiple speedy rushes from multiple sides, before making his lance glow and finishing up with an explosive downwards strike.

The Hubs and Future!Ninten turn to look at Callis. Future!Ninten looks relieved, but is this because he has back up, or does he actually know Callis?

Hub orders his clones to lower their arm cannons, but keeps his up.

   "Explain what's inside then."   , he commands, his eyes making it clear that any form of refusal will be met with a violent response.

Goku attempts to deflect the attack multiple times over but is eventually struck multiple times over, unable to defend himself. However, Eleven, of all people, fly to the rescue and attempt to pummel Galacta Knight, coating her fist in ki, in a manner similar to Gogeta, for a final strike akin to a Megaton Punch !

- Lady watches as the battle unfolds before her eyes, not having to do any input at first, before deciding to rush in with her sword to assist Goku as Eleven does the same. -

- meanwhile, Dante and Adrien are confused as to what this is supposed to be. -

"Hey, you two, what did you get?"

"That's the thousand scarab question right there."

" Scarab...? Oh, well. We need to finish this being, but... I have a hunch we shouldn't kill them."

- She switches back to Electra, ready to shock Aeon into unconscioussness. -

"In short, a villain created a timeline branching from this one and distorted an Assassin battle from the past to try and feed off the resulting changes to that timeline's future. But just knowing that doesn't mean you're ready to... do whatever it is you plan to do... without catastrophic consequences."

Eleven's and Lady's rescue attempt is successful. The rush and pummeling is enough to separate Aeon Hero (Light) from Goku's general location, and the punch sends him crashing into the ground below, forming a crater and cracking parts of the ground around it.

The earth shakes for a moment because of this, but luckily no large-scale earthquake occurs.

Hub narrows his eyes, not lowering his arm cannon yet.

"B-but the Assassin in question can't come through the time rift!", Future!Ninten quickly states, then turns to look at Callis.

"Right?", he asks, wanting her to confirm this... to be honest, guess, just so that Hub calms down. His eyes are practically pleading her to do so, even if there is a chance.

Callis nods to Future!Ninten.

"From his perspective - from the perspective of everyone from the past - the rift doesn't exist."

Errr, thanks !

Hey ! How about I fight ya after this is over ? If you win, I'll answer your questions !

Sure !

Goku then resort to the fabled "spam shit" technique adopted by Vegeta, attempting to batter away at the knight via a rain of energy blasts !

"Is... Is it K.O....?"

- Lady blinks and is surprised when Goku starts to blaster the Knight with energy blasts! -

"Wait! Don't do this, if you're unlucky you'll create a time paradox!"

- the two Chronodrifters and Past!Cynthia approaches, curious about the current state of their opponent, their hands still gripped onto their weapons. -

As Goku is spamming Ki Blasts, Aeon Hero (Light) suddenly comes rushing out of the crater, flying towards Goku as blasts keep hitting him, not stopping regardless, and attempts to impale Goku with his lance.

Another fragment drops from him due to the damage he receives from the Ki Blasts. It falls on the ground, but the person who picked up the first one will find that, if they try to pick up this one too, they won't be able to.

Anyone else will be able to, but not that person.

Hub slowly lowers his arm cannon, though not all the way yet.

   "You mean to say there is absolutely nothing that can go wrong in here, regardless of what happens in there?"   

"Positive!", Future!Ninten says, putting on a confident face. Despite his lingering nervousness, he manages to make it look genuine.

He can't really stop being nervous, even now. After all, he's seen how Hub can get, and he knows that, around him, you're never guaranteed to be safe.

Callis raises an index finger. "Except if you go in there and shoot up the place. Not only could that have huge consequences in case you accidentally kill someone from the future who wasn't 'supposed' to die there, but the more distorted things become, the more power the one behind all this gets."

Eleven kick Goku out of the way, but loses both her arm and her leg because of the lance. She look surprised at that too, and is left unable to attack, out of surprise.

Goku, however, attempts to dash straight into the spear-wielding monster to try to hit him with a God Punch !

- without a word, lady brings back her sword and seemingly channels her powers into the blade, the beam becoming purple, as she attempts to slash the Aeon, which would result in him being locked in time! -

"Ah! Another one!"

- this time, it's Dante who grabs the fragment, looking at him curiously. -

Aeon Hero (Light) attempts to block Goku's powerful punch with his shield, and while it holds, he is still hurled back a fair amount of distance.

Lady's slash actually connects, and, if for a little bit, Aeon Hero (Light) will be stuck in place.

A third fragment falls, same conditions for picking it up as the first. Only someone who hasn't picked one up before can pick this one up.

Hub now finally fully lowers his arm cannon and crosses his arms, sighing.

   "Well, tell whoever is responsible for this not to mess with our past battles. Because while most of us will listen to reason, I'm not sure Mara will be content with-"   

   "You're damn right I won't be."   

Hub and his clones instantly turn to see Mara, now back to her 'human' form◊, standing there, looking furious and squeezing the bottle of wine she's holding rather tightly.

Future!Ninten gulps. This is the worst possible person who could've shown up to this.

"H-hey, Mara, it's a bad idea to-"

   "Shut it, brat."   , she growls.    "What is the meaning of this!?"   

Vaguely recognizing Mara, Callis sighs.

"Let's not make this difficult, please. Do you need a recap or did you hear everything I already said while you were apparently sneaking up on us like a ninja?"

Eleven's limbs begins to regenerate, and she smiles as her aura grows, signifying a rise in power of a sort. Goku, meanwhile, attempts to press the assault with several strong punches !

- Lady profits of the fact Aeon Hero is stuck in place to inflict onto him a flurry of slashes with the indigo blade, attempting to milk out as much as possible the stun state they were in. -

"Anoth- Uh? I can't grab that one?"

"What do you mean... Ah! I can't too!"

Each and every attack hits its mark. Of course, with him frozen in time, Aeon Hero (Light) doesn't really react to the pain, nor do wounds show up on his body yet.

However, a fourth one then drops from him, and yet again it has the same conditions as the previous ones.

He is still frozen at the moment.

   "I heard some of-hey."   , Mara says, narrowing her eyes.    "I know you! You were there during that one fight where my power was boosted."   

She then takes a better look at Future!Ninten.

   "And you're the kid who warned us about my pupils releasing Count Kevin here."   

Future!Ninten remains silent, just nodding anxiously. Mara sighs in irritation and puts her hand on her head.

   "Just give it to me fast. How dangerous is this rift, when will it close? If either answer displeases me, you can't stop me from doing what I consider necessary."   

Eleven's limbs are still... a bit tiny, but growing. Goku meanwhile, gathers energy around his hand and prepare a mighty Kamehameha !

"I gave you that power boost. Now to answer your question..."

Callis does a T H O N K .

"The rift itself poses no threat, but the power levels being thrown around on the other side are, I'd estimate, solar-to-galaxy tier. As for when it'll close, I'm told that would be once the Aeon Hero is defeated."

"... I don't know who the Aeon Hero is."

"More of 'em are coming! But I can't grab them!"

"What is happening?!"

- Lady decides to add her power to Goku's Kamehameha she saw earler by herself blasting down the Knight with one of her own beams, courtesy of Lumens Gamma. -

Time runs out, or rather, time starts back up again for Aeon Hero (light). Able to move again, he immediately dodges Lady's attack, though is forced to land on the ground for a moment as all the wounds he received kick in simultaneously.

Once he catches his bearings, he flies off into the 'background' of the battlefield, raising his lance as multiple, giant, golden energy lances appear in a circle around him, which then all fly up into the air, only to turn and start raining down upon all opponents in an attempt to badly wound all of them.

This is very similar to Galacta Knight's former attack, which tore through the ground and mountains. This time, however, the lances will bounce if they hit the ground or a mountain, allowing them to turn a single time to try to target Aeon Hero (Light)'s enemies a second time.

He gives them not a moment's rest, however. Even in the event that everyone somehow perished in this attack, Aeon Hero (Light) goes ham on the attacks, performing his turning laser once more, the attack blasting through the ground, creating another crevices in the ground, and flames burst out from said crevices yet again.

Then, lastly, he opens up another space-time rift, or Jikaidaizansen (Time-Border Great Slash Flash), with the giant laser bursting out from the rift in an attempt to annihilate his enemies.

Three immensely powerful attacks in a row. Either he's had enough of the fighting, or he may be getting desperate. If it's the latter, it means victory may not be that far away anymore.

   "Aeon Hero? What-"   , Hub says, but then Mara cuts him off.

   "Oh, it's Galacta Knight. That could be a serious issue if he got out of that rift."   , she says, to which Hub looks at her, confused and surprised that she both knows this and states it in a way as if it's obvious.

Mara then, for some reason, looks up at the sky, anger and... strangely enough, what appears to be fear, in her eyes.

A few moments of nothing pass, and Mara relaxes again, looking back at Callis.

   "He cannot pass through, and you're not letting anyone get in. If what I just said is correct, then... I suppose I can let this slide this time."   

Her eyes grow darker.

   "But if one of our past battles is messed with again-"   

   "I already threatened them, they get the pi-"   

Cue a sword thrown through the clone Hub's head who spoke up, causing the others to freeze up for a moment, then retreat, including the main Hub. Future!Ninten jumps from how sudden and seamless the action was.

"Fuck, I almost forgot how frightening she is...", he mutters to himself. Mara, who didn't hear that, then turns back to Callis.

   "I made it quick and... 'mostly' painless for him because he is my ally. Neither of you has that luxury. Consider this your warning."   

"I understand," Callis replies.

She smirks, thinking to herself, And now I totally want to fight her. Curse these Saiyan desires.

The Hub Centralis

Shadow shrugs.

   "It's a bit unusual. The only thing more out-of-character could be if someone like Obelisk, Ra, Osiris, or even Horakhty said 'dude'."   

He throws his hands up in the air.

   "You don't need to sink down to his level. The killer was a real piece of work, yeah. That doesn't mean you have to be one, too."   

He raises a finger, blinking.

   "...alright, that's on me for not being too specific. Horakhty didn't invent the Shadow Realm, sure. That was your evil whim. However, she invented darn near everything else, and that includes humanity. Without humans, you wouldn't exist, since, by your own admission, you were birthed by the despair of the entire human race. So, again, you're a self-styled God born of the mutual belief of a group of fervent upholders. Thus, you're an Egregore. Also, do you have any idea how busy being the creator of a universe must be? Probably not, because all I've seen you do is lording over a personal Hell where you can menace and laugh in the faces of any mortals or spirits who are sent there. Ah, and there's your plans of world domination."   

He then blinks again, looking completely dumbfounded. He takes a moment to process, and then actually begins laughing.

   "Ohhhhh man, that's the funniest thing I've heard an incarnation of you say yet! For a steadfast extoller of Chaos, you seem to forget what that's all about."   

He lifts his hat, and tosses it high into the air.

   "Y'see, Chaos is all about..."   

His hat falls down onto his head, but keeps going, as he disappears into it like a magician's rabbit.

   "...being unpredictable!"   , comes the reply, from behind Dark!Bakura, followed by a laugh. If the shadowy being were to look, he'd see Shadow hanging upside down from a branch on a tree that wasn't there a second ago, and he still has his hat.

   "And who's to say if my unpredictableness shouldn't manifest as being a good guy?"   

He swings in a circle from the branch, and jumps off, as the tree pops in a shower of fireworks and confetti, and Shadow drifts down on his wings, landing on one foot. When he clicks his other heel down, a cane manifests in his hand, and he smirks.

   "Certainly not you. You're really a stick-in-the-mud, as Chaos gods go. If I choose to be a hero, then I choose to be a hero. If anything, you're a disgrace for playing into such a tired stereotype. And I never said I knew everything, buster. I've only experienced more than most, not all."   

He shrugs.

   "So imperious. That's yet another cliche."   

After listening to Dark!Bakura's ultimatum, he facepalms, shaking his head in resignation.

   "I don't misunderstand your determination, but it's honestly a really foolish idea. Throwing your life away for some grim reason like this...you could have so much potential."   

He nods, sadly waving goodbye to TK!Bakura, and gives a steely look to Dark!Bakura.

   "Alright, sure, I can't do anything this time, your Zorc half is a jerk, as usual, and the kid's dedicated to his dark path. Understandable. Disappointing, but understandable. I just want you to know..."   

He points to his eyes, which emit a brighter white glow.

   "I've got eyes on this place."   

A violet glow appears behind the white glow.

   "My eyes got eyes."   

Followed by a red glow behind the violet.

   "Those eyes got eyes. So does the Arena, so basically assume you're being watched by yours truly and others like me any time you're around. If you slip up, and end up violating your diplomatic immunity, again, we'll know, and we heroes will be ready."   

His eyes return to normal, and he sighs.

   "Really wished this coulda' turned out better."

Goku and Eleven both power up and get slammed around by the first waves of attack, though they're able to dodge the second by virtue of being quick, dodging the beam and the flame wall as they begin to gather energy around their hands.

When the beam come for a second time, they combine their beams. It obviously doesn't really save them, but it does somewhat lower the damage, with the both of them coming out of the attack's smoke and attempting to blast away at Galacta with a bunch of ki blasts.
