Dan!Akuma activates Ultimate Taunt, rolling right into Ryu's range to execute the ineffective super move.

Ryu draws back his fist, creating a quick spark from his fighting spirit that will paralyze Dan!Akuma if it hits him, followed by an uppercut aimed for the jaw.

If the uppercut hits, Ryu will strike him in the jaw again, and then finish with a "SHIN... SHORYUKEN!" to send him flying.

Vague Primordia

Beerus is lying on a sun lounger,◊ holding a cold soft drink. "Alright, you two, come on out! Let's not keep our audience waiting!"

Gogeta descends out of seemingly nowhere.

"Ready?"

Vegito descends from the sky and lands in front of Gogeta and Beerus.

"Ready as I'll ever be! Let's settle this!"

The Grand Minister appears in the air. "Now, gentlemen, remember that the time limits on your fusions have been removed for the sake of this battle. That means you shouldn't need to play it safe. With that in mind, have fun, fight well, and let's give everyone a good show."

Fusion Battle - Phase 1

Gogeta immediately goes for a Punisher Drive, sliding forward over the ground before vanishing, launching a barrage of invisible strikes at Vegito, and reappearing behind him.

Vegito is struck multiple times, pushing him back slightly.

"Nice! I can actually feel that!"

He whips around and attempts to roundhouse kick Gogeta in the head.

Gogeta staggers forward. "You're not so bad yourself!"

He attempts a straight back kick before doing a 180° spin with his arm extended to try and backhand Vegito as he turns around.

Vegeta watch it from a spot somewhere, arms folded.

... Whoever win has me as the dominant personality.

The blows land, causing Vegito to readjust himself before continuing.

Vegito advances as he throws a series of punches, followed up with an attempted kick to the stomach.

Gogeta takes a stance with Vanisher Guard, seemingly no-selling Vegito's attacks as a yellow-orange aura briefly flares up around him.

However, when he drops the Vanisher Guard, he's left vulnerable for a second.

"You're wide open!"

Vegito takes advantage of this vulnerability and attempts to punch Gogeta in the stomach twice before roundhouse kicking his opponent away.

Gogeta takes the first two hits, but vanishes behind Vegito before he can land the kick. "That's what you think!"

He attempts to launch Vegito with the signature backflip kick he did to Janemba, then flies up into the air and lobs a blue Ki blast at him regardless of whether the kick hits or misses.

Sarah is using a camera of some sort to record the fight from afar.

It does beat even those high-budgets Hollywood Planet movies.

Vegito manages to sidestep the kick but the ki blast lands.

"You didn't tell me we were using blasts now!"

He retaliates by firing a series of weaker but faster energy blasts up at Gogeta.

Beerus grunts from the sidelines, hoping Gogeta doesn't steal the reply he once made to that same exclamation by Goku.

"Come on, did I really need to tell you?" Gogeta crosses his arms over his front, taking the equivalent of chip damage from Vegito's barrage.

Beerus breathes a slight sigh of relief.

Gogeta erects a Punisher Shield with a swipe of his arm, then does a downwards kick in place. If Vegito fires another blast at the shield, it will be reflected into a bright blue Big Bang Attack-esque projectile and Gogeta will teleport in front of him for the kick.

A few rifts open up near Beerus, and a pair of new spectators pop out.

On the left emerges one of Single's primitive drone-nodes, holding what looks like a Go Pro. Its lens glistens as it observes this rare interdimensional data-gathering opportunity.

On the right emerges a seemingly battered Nuclear!Zen'O. He seems rather tall compared to his baseline version, though it's hard to tell with the long cloak he's wearing. Either way he seems pretty expressionless as he watches the battle.

Vegito fires another blast into the shield, only for it to be reflected back at him. He charges through the smoke, only to be kicked downwards into the ground.

The fusion gets back up and charges up a Split Finger Shot, creating five small energy spheres on the tip of each of his fingers. He then fires the spheres towards Gogeta.

Gogeta goes flying back from the Ki blasts, recovering in midair.

Fusion Battle - Phase 2

"We're gathering quite the audience. What say we ramp this up?" Gogeta goes Super Saiyan before using Super Mad Dance to try and launch Vegito upwards, then away, then further away, before doing one last high kick. If the full combo succeeds, Vegito will be carried northeast and into Oblivia with Gogeta in hot pursuit, akin to the stage transitions in FighterZ but without anyone being downed first.

Vegito powers up and goes Super Saiyan.

"Alright! I am SUPER VEGI-"

Vegito is cut off mid-speech and launched into Oblivia.

He manages to readjust in midair and lands on his feet, sliding back from the momentum.

Sarah keeps up with the transition, holding unto her device.

Single... doesn't move at all. He just keeps watching.

Nuclear!Zen'O for his part moves a bit, slowly floating off the ground and drifting in the direction of the fight.

Gogeta lands in front of Vegito, skidding to a stop in a similar fashion. "You don't... have to announce everything you do, you know?"

"I'll announce what I want!"

He floats upwards a bit, extends his hand with his palm open, and fires off a Big Bang Attack.

"BIG BANG ATTACK!"

Vague Primordia

Some distance away from the clash of fusions, Thor and Loki can be seen approaching Thanos' starship, Sanctuary.

"Have you ever noticed something... odd about this Thanos? Call me absurd if you wish, but he does not strike me as the same Mad Titan who believes that eradicating half of all life in the universe will prevent this seemingly inevitable catastrophe."

"Now that you mention it, he does somewhat differ from your descriptions, at least in regards to his personality."

Gogeta gets blown into the air.

He recovers and makes a beckoning gesture to Vegito from above.

Sanctuary approaches them silently, with the massive ship hovering in front of them for a few seconds. Then, the ship door opens, and Thanos stands, stepping off his ship as it flies up. The massive titan then kind of stand there, eyes obscured by his helmet.

I trust that you have good news.
