You seems curious.

"Yes. You are very unusual-looking, though I mean it in a way that denote my interest. I do not want to insult you."

I am used to these observations, worry not.

"Good. Now, what is Vibranium ?"

A certain Arcane half-dragon can be seen walking near wherever Oca and co. are when she overhears their discussion about Taro. Muttering something about "friggin' apocalyptic threats" under her breath, she proceeds to join the group.

"Lemme take a wild guess: Taro's finally here? Can't believe I'm actually saying this, but I really wish Frieza was easier to find. Could've talked him into a brief alliance... eh, maybe he'll notice the fight and join in on destroying the 'rabid, rampaging monkey'."

Her gaze flickers to Neuff.

"So, Neuffie... if Taro's really the powerhouse that Oca's clone made him out to be, I'm thinking we oughta fuse and let Neuffcole beat his psychotic ass."

He looks a mite worried that only these three have shown up, but reassures himself that backup is coming from his own place as well. They should be enough, probably, right?

"Thanks for coming, guys."

"I'd say we have..."

He checks the monitor.

"Less than or equal two five minutes before impact in probably Cauldros."

He looks at Nicole.

"That's... probably a good idea, yeah. We need every advantage we can get. Speaking of which, any of you want extra equipment?"

He himself pops on his Amplificator Gauntlets and his helmet.

Callis' eyes momentarily widen. "There's been reports of a spacetime rift present in Cauldros."

"Heh, let's wait and see how we fare separately and then we'll fuse." answers Neuff. "Hi Nicole by the way."

"And I can teleport us all over the place if we need too." she says.

"Nah, I've got Thundercrusher so don't worry."

”Mir~ Mir~ Mir~ Mir~” Geo says in response to Miriel’s words, before dropping his ‘Mirs’ for now so he could speak to her. ”But yeah, let us wal.. eh.. let the duo of us walk while Vi flies overhead! … Walking is a great pastime of mine anyways so no complaints here from me!

And so for now since Geo is more or less a dummy about certain things and subjects, just kept quiet as he walked while Miriel and Vision talked to each other about science stuff but decided to interject once he heard the word ‘Vibranium’.

”Hm… Vibranium huh… If I remember correctly Vibranium is a special metal that… uh… absorbs energy or something like that? I will admit that I have only heard of the word ‘Vibranium’ and heard of a few tidbits about it here and there, so I can be wrong.

New Los Angeles

Near the center of NLA, bolts of lightning are suddenly launched from somewhere between the buildings.

Robin notices the lightning bolts and decide to run over there, chugging a bottle of some kind to heal her wounds. Since fighting take her mind off her predicament, she might as well try and fight, especially if it can help someone along the way.

Meanwhile, at the Floating Islands

Lucien raises an eyebrow at Psycho!Ness' reaction to his sophisticated speech pattern, folding his arms.

"Now, what could have ever prompted that expression? I was simply being polite."

He looks surprised, then facepalms.

"Speaking of which, where are my manners? I have forgotten to ask your name..."

He looks baffled by the names, but, after a moment of thought, he gives a slow, hesitant nod.

"...while, at the time, I was admittedly more focused on the damage to my personal property, and I never bothered to question further about what had transpired before that series of events, or even gathered the name of our assailant, I agree that your summary otherwise is rather accurate. I would imagine that, had I not intercepted this...'Neo Pseudo Porky'...then he would have come off as more than just a nuisance. Anything with the level of explosive power that he had would have killed a normal person quite quickly. Why was it after them, in the first place? One would think that a...'robot', as I recall the term, would usually not have much to do with a group of children..."

He perks up at Psycho!Ness' description of Ninten, tilting his head.

"Well, I was somewhat curious, considering your similarity. Did you say you worked together? Regarding what career?"

Nicole facepalms when Neuff turns down her offer to fuse, shaking her head.

"I'm gonna be straight with you, Neuffie: that plan sucks. Oca thinks fusing from the start is a good idea, so maybe you oughta take his advice."

"Friggin' Sisters, even when we're about to fight a seriously massive threat, they'd rather hurl practical plans out the window and be fight-obsessed dumbasses instead... it's a miracle I even get along with them."

She glances at Oca.

"What kind of equipment are we talking about here?"

"Lots of weapons, capsules with beasts, stat affecting items, armor, automatic attack capsules, a few artillery pieces... you know, stuff."

"Huh, that might be something we can rely on at least Callis. If you know the exact location we can try to set up an ambush."

"Actually... we should get going. Callis, tell us where and we can TP. The backup from my Xenoverse should be able to just track my ki."

"General area southeast of Mount M'gando." Callis takes out her replica Whis staff and attempts to warp the group directly to Cauldros, in front of the timespace hole Rhea had made upon her first arrival in the Arena.

Assuming Nicole goes with them, she should recognize it.

"We can fuse later but we have to see if we can wear him out beforehand. It'll be easier to roll up and go to town with him afterwards, since the fusion won't carry our own wounds and wear." says Neuff.

She teleports with the rest and just stand at the ready.

Robin will see a group of bandits◊ run past her, seemingly fleeing for their lives from something.

And that something is Anna, who's outright chasing them down, attacking them with her Levin Sword. She looks genuinely distraught, especially when the bandits get away. She stops running to take a breath, having not yet noticed Robin.

Psycho!Ness pauses for a moment, looking surprised.

"Huh? ... Oh, sorry, I wasn't trying to be insensitive or anything. I just kinda talk this way usually. I'll try to be more polite."

He smirks.

"Name's Ness. ... Uh, I mean, my name is Ness."

He then shrugs.

"As far as I know, he was just out to hurt Ninten through his sisters, because Ninten was a threat to his boss."

Then he nods.

"We're both part of a resistance group that's trying to take down another, evil group of people who are making this place unsafe. ... or at least more unsafe than it already was."

"Anna ? What's happening ?" she asks, glancing at Anna and the bandits in a confused manner.

The bandits are long gone now.

Anna looks at Robin, still looking distraught.

"R... Robin! They... they actually..."

Jake◊ then appears as well, having ran after her.

"Thank the gods, I finally caught up with you."

Anna turns to him, then suddenly hugs him, looking sad. Jake hugs her back, then looks at Robin.

"Ah, Robin... we...", he says, not looking completely composed himself.

"... We were robbed."

Robin's eyes widen. And by that, I mean that she finds a way to close her eyes even harder.

"How low of them !" she says. "Should I go and catch them ?"

Lucien nods, giving a faint smile.

"That would be appreciated, thank you."

His smile grows slightly, and he extends his hand for a handshake.

"Well met, Master Ness."

He scoffs, brushing a bit of dust off his suit.

"Well, I would say that said boss would not have been rather pleased with their machine's failure...targeting children...some villains have no pride, no morals..."

He frowns, looking somewhat troubled.

"...now, that does not bode well, especially with the balance of this world already as fragile as it is now...and balance, in all things, is important. Is this organization of yours seeking new members? T'would be pleasant to know I am contributing to a greater good, instead of simply serving my own interests for once..."

Meanwhile, above the edge of the floating island, a faint shimmer appears in the sky.

"Cut the half-assed attempt at a logical explanation, Neuff, and admit that you're afraid we'd end the fight too quickly if we fused."

Nicole lets out an annoyed sigh as she's teleported to Cauldros with the others.

"Just gimme something that'll boost my attack strength, Oca."

"No, they're gone now. Besides, it wasn't even them... well, not directly.", Anna says once she stops hugging Jake.

"They were just a distraction. I... I don't know how they did it, but somehow, when those people approached me again to 'apologize' for their behavior last time, someone got behind my stall without me noticing and disappeared the moment Clarisse, from the rooftops, warned me that she saw someone moving around. Those bandits then began to run, so it was clear that they had something to do with it."

She shakes her head sadly.

"I can't believe it. We've never been robbed before, not even when we were just starting out... Whoever got back there, they took some gold, some stat boosters, and... and my Einherjar map..."

Suddenly, all of his annoyance at Ninten being referred to as 'master' melts in an instant when he gets the same treatement, smirking happily as he shakes Lucien's hand.

"Nice to meet you too. I'm sorry if I was rude just now."

He continues to smirk.

"My guess is that he wasn't, but he's already been taken care of. He reformed and is on our side now. Though the robot isn't, he ran off somewhere."

He then looks uncertain.

"That's up to Pseudo... um, the original one, not Neo, to decide. He's our boss."

He doesn't notice the shimmer yet.

Robin nods quite a lot, though she raises an eyebrow when the Einherjar map is mentioned. She awkwardly attempts to reassure her friend by laying her hand on her shoulder.

"What's the Einherjar map ? It must be quite important if they specifically stole it."

"... Sure."

He tosses her a Concentration Charm [boosts attack power greatly for one turn!], a pouch of Dragonbone Powder [raises chance of critical attack for three turns!], and two vials of Attack Water [raises attack parameter for three turns!]

"I honestly agree with Neuff. You two are pretty strong on your own, so your fusion might not last too long. Using it at a critical moment might prove more effective."

Suddenly, a rift forms behind him, and two Time Patrollers pop out.

"Sorry we're late, there was a small incursion of-"

"Yo!"

"Fu!"

Oca immediately hops over to him and grants him a fistbump.

"Long time no see, though... interesting first mission to pick here."

[gold] is Percel, while [purple] is Nuclear Xeno!Fu

"What Oca said." says Neuff. "I'm afraid of the fusion ending quickly, Nicole." she says. "And maybe hand me some stamina stuff just in case, since I might use Limit Breaker."

Lucien chuckles quietly.

"That is quite alright. I am aware that my mannerisms are...somewhat antiquated, by more modern standards."

He looks curious.

"Ah? I suppose subtracting a piece from an overburdened side and adding it to the other could count as a step toward equilibrium..."

He frowns slightly.

"...ah...'tis unfortunate. Is there some way I could meet this...'Pseudo'? I assure you that my intentions are naught but pure."

Meanwhile, the shimmer gives one pulse, stirring the air around it. Lucien suddenly looks up, glancing around above where they're standing.

"I think I sense something."

Callis flinches seeing the other Fu, but calms down when she realizes it's not the one she knows.

Rhea comes out of the timespace hole.

"Hi, who the hell are you?"

"Hello, I'm Universe 7's West Supreme Kai. My name is Rhea."

"Not from my version of Universe 7, you're not."

"Naturally..."

"We were expecting Taro to come out of there. You know him?"

"Nope."

"Wanna help us beat the shit out of him?"

"Sure."
