Jiren instantly turn around to let his elbow clash with Saitama's punch, though he raises his other hand to attempt to put more momentum to his elbow thrust immediately afterwards

Saitama stumbles backward. "Heh. I haven't been this evenly matched in... ever."

He rushes Jiren again and goes for a spinning clothesline swing.

Jiren smiles slightly in answer and leap above Saitama, spinning in the air repeatedly before attempting to stomp his flat with his two feet.

Saitama raises his arms to block Jiren's impact, then attempts to catch Jiren's foot and throw him to the ground.

Jiren is thrown to the ground and attempt to blast Saitama at a close range.

Saitama readies his fist for a follow-up, then gets blasted in the face by Jiren. This causes him to pause as he fans the smoke away with his hand.

Jiren attempts to use the occasion, trying to pull Saitama towards him by raising his leg and then attempting to kick him hard with the freed one.

Saitama goes flying back, tumbling and skidding to a stop on the ground. He pushes himself to his feet, sweating and bruised a bit. "Good move." He cracks his knuckles.

Serious Series: Serious Consecutive Side-Hops

Saitama starts shifting side-to-side at such ridiculous speed that he creates 100 flickering afterimages of himself, all in the same pose, in a circle around Jiren.

Jiren glares and clench his fists when he sees the side-hopping, looking around himself for a moment.

"... A fantastic display of speed, but I am not slow either." he says, using his own speed to create his own afterimages. The afterimages moves to attempt to face Saitama's, somehow all staying in one pose.

Things go quiet for a good while, as if they'd never even been chased to begin with. There's no signs of Enoch at all, and Dedan sighs, glancing away.

"... I suppose this'll at least give us time to come up with a plan."

He gets back up and looks back at the group, taking note of the Potara.

"I don't think some fancy jewelry is gonna make a difference."

He points to the right of himself.

"Let's leave this location for now, just in case. Enoch won't abandon his factory, so I know he'll still be around when we come back, better prepared."

Japhet weakly raises one of his wings, as if to say 'gimme a minute'.

"Oh, these definitely aren't an ordinary pair of earrings, dude," Nicole remarks to Dedan. "So... our plan now is to retreat, then come back here after we've thought of a new strategy?"

Saitama stops side-hopping and just starts throwing punches, aiming to disrupt Jiren with the shockwaves.

Cabba nods to Nicole, gripping his earring tightly. "Let's not be caught flat-footed, just in case Enoch shows up only a second or two after we decide to leave."

He turns to Japhet. "Nicole is right. When two warriors each wear one of these earrings from a matching pair, they fuse into a single, much more powerful fighter."

He looks confused, but decides not to question it, and starts walking after answering Nicole with a nod, expecting the rest to follow. Japhet, meanwhile, appears even more confused than Dedan did.

"... Such a strange world this is.", he notes. "But a helpful tool. It's a good thing to have."

Japhet then flies up and tries to sit down on Nicole's head. If she lets him, he'll perch up there for a while.

Once they're out of the caverns, unable to see inside again, the factory's smoke ceases to spew, and inside, the sound of stone being torn apart can be heard. But with nobody around, nobody can catch onto this...

Dedan, meanwhile, leads the group south, planning to leave Oblivia through the ingress that's right besides the Yawning Giant canyon, past the Twin Arches, pondering all the way and being unusually silent.

Nicole chuckles when Japhet decides to rest atop her head, then follows Dedan and co. out of the Wrothian Stronghold and through the sands of Oblivia.

"Well, that could've gone more smoothly..."

Cabba and Darius-X follow along, both seeming a bit uneasy.

The Jirens are blown away, save the retime l deal, who powers through and attempt to sock Saitama in the jaw

When just past the Twin Arches and next to the Yawning Giant canyon, Dedan suddenly lets out a frustrated roar, which causes Japhet to jump and almost fall off of Nicole's head.

"Damnit, I don't know enough about that fat lard to form any cohesive strategy on how to beat him!"

He crosses his arms and growls, in a foul mood.

"That merchant damn well better have an idea on how to do this, he's the one who-"

Dedan's ramblings pause abruptly when the ground shakes for a moment, making Dedan and Japhet get ready to fight.

... Nothing happens though, and Enoch is nowhere in sight.

Saitama goes sliding back a bit and responds with a similar attack.

Darius sighs. "Apply enough force and anything can fall. Perhaps we simply need more fi-" and then the ground shakes, and he immediately shuts up.

As soon as the ground has stopped shaking, Cabba flies as high as he can to see if he can spot Enoch.

After taking a moment to recover from the surprise of Dedan's outburst, Nicole raises a finger as she prepares to add her two cents, only for the ground to suddenly shake.

"Okay... what the hell just caused that earthquake?"

Renderer is still throwing evidence at the pan, like a machine gun.

"Is that all you got, CJ?!"

As high as Cabba may fly, he won't see Enoch anywhere.

But that's because he's looking in the wrong direction.

The ground shakes more, now much fiercer, before the sound of a rock avalance is heard.

Then, out of nowhere, a gigantic hand clamps itself onto the side of the Yawning Giant. Then another, and before they can even realize it, Enoch rises up from below so fast that it could count as a jumpscare, standing in the canyon and still towering above them, now much bigger than he was before. So big, in fact, that the people in the group are smaller than his eyes.

Speaking of his eyes, they are glaring like you wouldn't believe. If looks could kill, they'd all be dead instantly.

A monster's fury

   "Ah... puff... hu... puff... Miserable runts!"   , he growls.    "I knew I'd never catch up to you if I ran after you, so I had to claw my body chock full of fat substances through the ground! Puff... puff... I had to tear the ground out of my own facility to get underground, and stop the factory's production as to not clog my tunnel with too much smoke! Puff... puff..."   

He clenches his fists.

   "It was hard and humiliating, but now... NOW... you... all of you... puff... I'll eat your hopes for survival like a block of sugar!"   

He grins darkly.

   "With delight!!! puff..."   

Some distance away, far enough from the battlefield that not even Enoch can see them, the Judge turns around upon feeling the tremors, and he and Hugo see Enoch's silhouette in the distance.

"There! There he is!", Hugo happily exclaims. "The big mister! Go Pablo, go!"

The Judge would normally groan upon usage of his real name, liking his title appointed by the Queen much more. However, there's a few people he doesn't mind hearing it from, and Hugo is one of them.

Regardless, seeing Enoch in this form, much bigger than his casual one, makes the Judge wary.

I hope nothing is going erronous with Dedan and Japhet..., he thinks to himself before starting to walk in the direction of the battlefield. It'll be a while before he and Hugo get there though.

The papers in the prosecution pan burn to ash, and almost immediately the defense pan drops down to floor level.

The C.J. "looks" down at the scale.    "Impossible! The defense won? No! I declare a mistrial! A new one will be scheduled."    He turns away from the courtroom and starts heading out of a door.

   "Hrrmpphh. I'll be in my chambers."   

The C.J. suddenly gets a Heat Knife in the back, making him lose balance. He comically reels backwards over the podium, falling onto the courtroom floor.

"Your blindness makes you ignorant and biased. Your farce of a justice system ends today." Blade Wolf turns to the others.

"Finish him."

Saitama goes tumbling away again.

Still airborne, Cabba turns to face Enoch.

He immediately drops down right next to Nicole, putting his Potara earring on his left ear as he goes Super Saiyan. "I don't know if we'll be able to transform as Nicobba, so I'd suggest you activate your Draconic form pre-fusion, Miss Nicole!"

"Oh, for god's sake, now he can grow to the size of a friggin' Kaiju?! You really should've mentioned that, Zach..."

After a moment of staring in pure shock at the now-enormous Enoch, Nicole turns to Cabba and nods.

"Got'cha!"

Her Potara earring in hand, she takes a moment to transform into her Draconic form◊ before attaching it to her right ear.

   "This sure ain't how I imagined the fight would go... Alright, I'm ready whenever you are, Cabba!"   

The Murderer

Japhet wastes no time in transforming into his true form, attacking Enoch right at the giant attempts to grab him, fiery feathers landing in Enoch's face. He comes out seemingly unscathed though, growling and swiping at the large bird, causing Japhet to fall onto the ground, kicking up a ton of sand as he crashes.

The sand threatens to engulf the other fighters, and while it's not really dangerous per se, the sudden force may be strong enough to knock the Potara Earring out of Cabba's hands and bury it under the sand.

   "Puff... puff... look at how absurd this all is! Huhuhu... Ah ah ah ah ah ah! You're just some puny pests! I'll crush you in no time at all!"   

He glares darkly.

   "Your games are nearing their ends!"   

Dedan, pointing up with one hand for a moment, then punches Enoch in the arm, and while Enoch himself doesn't seem to react, those with only the best of eyesight will notice a small shudder from where Dedan hit him.

Which means that Enoch can be hurt! Maybe it's because he tired himself out, judging by his constant panting. Either all, this battle isn't hopeless after all.

Primordia

Zacharie and Sucre are running towards Oblivia, Sucre having a lot of trouble with keeping up. They halt for a moment though, when they see Enoch's massive appearance in the far distance. After staring in shock for a moment, Sucre pushes Zacharie against his shoulder.

"I'll catch up, darling. Go. :)"

Zacharie ponders it over for a bit, but eventually nods and starts running towards the canyon as fast as he can. He'll be there soon, but not just yet.

Unfortunately for Enoch, the Potara was already on Cabba's ear.

The Potara-wearers fly together and disappear in an explosion of light, and from the light, Nicobba rockets into the air. They seem to have a bit of a Celestial!Derak thing going on - their body and head are humanlike, but they have a tail and a pair of wings, and their arms and legs terminate in the Draconic form's claws.

"ALRIGHT! Nicole and Cabba fuse to make Nicobba! Face me now, Enoch!"

Darius-X looks on in a mixture of confusion and awe.
