He looks hilariously unamused at the hand waving in front of his face.

"I'm not blind, no."

Loki keep walking in Primordia, looking smug enough to become a new sun and whistling some irritating, Ear Worm tune.

"Okay! I'm gonna guess you don't have radar… you look, uh, human."

"And I'm gonna guess you already have hearing, and touch, and taste, and you already said you have smell."

"Is your smell, like, normal person smell, or like carbon smell?"

"Um... a little better than a normal person, maybe.", he says, looking unsure.

"... Maybe you should just demonstrate everything. I kinda tend to learn faster when I have an example."

"I mean… that doesn't really answer the question? Like yeah, I can see you're human, but what kind of human! There's like… ten choices. … I don't think you're a triclops, though."

"Hm…"

He holds out the apple, and lathers something rather smelly on it. Looks like blood. He then tosses it about ten meters down the alley.

"Can you still smell that?"

The kid's nose twitches, showing that he, at least, still can.

"... Just... human. I don't really know what else to call myself.", he says. He then takes his hat off and brushes the hair on his forehead aside for a moment to reveal that he has no third eye, silently saying that he is indeed not a triclops. Though it does show that, just like with his arms, legs and the rest of his face, he has some pretty noticably big scratches on his forehead as well.

He puts his hat back on as the apple is thrown. He looks in the direction it landed in, then sniffs.

"... Sorta, yeah."

"So you ain't nosedead… Ya know, I think you might be a carbon. You seem fit enough, but… you'se pretty scrawny. And you can't sense ki."

"I don't think I've seen one of you guys before! Though, I guess we're in a city, so it ain't too weird. Do you really have super instincts for machines and stuff?"

He doesn't react to the scratches, even subconsciously.

Rumia, now in close quarters with the Queen, takes the full brunt of the shockwave, stabbing her sword into the ground to prevent herself from being helplessly flung away but still sliding back some. She points her finger in the air and a ball of moonlight forms above her head, casting the room into a pale, unnatural light.

Revealing Light [Shadow of the Soul]

As the moonlight shines on everyone, their shadows become animate. The shadows of all of Rumia's allies have shining pale eyes, glowing with the same light as the moon. For as long as the spell lasts, all of their attacks will be followed by a shadow "echo" attack, dealing additional shadow damage. The shadows of Ridley, the Spider Queen and any other minions they may summon while the spell lasts have wicked red eyes. Grasping claws surge out of these shadows as they attempt to seize their owners. These claws will attempt to drag them into the ground (actually into their own shadows), and if they succeed, the victims will be horrifically mangled. Ridley's aura may prevent him from being seized for as long as it is up, but the Spider Queen is not so lucky.

Attempting to attack the shadows will have no effect. However, destroying the moon orb floating near the ceiling would put an end to the spell.

"Hey, I'm just scrawny compared to you.", he says, tapping his arm. He then ponders.

"I wouldn't say instincts per se, but I've definitely encountered machines before. And as you can see, I survived."

"Cool."

He then chuckles.

"No, no, back home I'm like… a third of a size smaller than a normal kid. You're just one of the weaker species."

The kid looks nine, but he's almost twelve.

"A th- oh, then... um... I guess you're more about my age than I thought."

He looks him over.

"... if you're a third smaller I don't even wanna imagine how buff the bigger kids of your species are.", he muses. He then tilts his head.

"Is there anything else I need to know? Or should we try to steal something? I still don't feel cool about it, but if it's my only choice, I'm gonna have to."

"Oh, yeah, uh…"

He looks out into the streets.

"That guy!"

He points at a rather tall Vegeta. The Vegeta's walking around with a subway sandwich.

"He's probably a good guy to start with. He's got pretty good senses all around, especially sonar and sight, but he's pretty dumb and too moral to curb stomp a kid."

"You want me to grab that sandwich off of him, or do you wanna try first?"

He looks at the tall Vegeta, ponders, then turns to the child.

"Maybe you should go first, to show me how you do it."

"Blastoise! Protect those two!" At Miles command, the Pokemon projection nodded and turned so its massive shell could act as a shield against the shockwave while Miles created several platforms of energy to climb upwards and avoid the shockwave before converting said energy into electrical energy.

He then took aim and let loose a huge bolt in the shape of a serpentine dragon towards the Queen.

He gives a thumbs up, and slips into some fluffy slippers he pulls out of his bag. Afterwards, he slips into the crowd.

He just walks right up to Vegeta, but at an angle.

" *metaphorical whistles* "

As he gets right behind him… he swipes his wallet right out of his pocket. He doesn't run, he just keeps walking.

He loops around back to the alley, grinning, and tears open the wallet.

"Aw, are you kidding me?! Why even have a wallet if all you have is a Chuck E Cheese token and an expired coupon?"

Mr. Pew Pew looks to the broken Spiderling pieces and gets to thinking.

Paintra paints up a pair of Hypno Goggles, which she peels off the canvas and hands to the Toon.

Sonic keeps taunting Maelstrom Ridley.

The Spider Queen stomps down and summons eight Spiderlings, before it is beaten around by Rouge and Miles, then dragged into its shadow. Large LEGO bricks burst out of the ground like an explosion of confetti as Rumia's magic destroys it.

The Spiderlings do not disappear. They spit sticky web projectiles at all their enemies, then three of them get smashed by their own shadows.

Maelstrom Ridley can see again. He glares at the source of the irritating noise and stabs at Sonic with his tail.

He watches everything the child does, from his movements to his methods. When he gets back, the boy seems to be thinking about something.

Then he can't help but let out a restrained laugh.

"That guy's just as broke as we are.", he says.

He snorts.

"Yeah, yeah. you'd think a Vegeta would have a little more moolah than this… But at least I stole something, the wallet's probably worth like a Zencoin or two."

"Your turn; try that guy. He has really good sight, but not much else."

He points to a rather dumpy looking middle aged Speedeye Boy sitting on a bench.

Blastoise' shell defends well against the sticky webbing...but when he tries to fire from his nozzles, he finds them clogged up. Crippled but not defeated, he opened his mouth and sprayed a devastating Hydro Pump at the remaining Spiderlings.

On the plus side, at least the Queen was gone so once these little guys were dealt with they could return to the main threat.

Getting caught by a ball of webbing, Miles growled as fire engulfed his/her form briefly before conjuring several arms made of Soul Energy that snapped the stalagmites from the floor and were hurled towards Ridley.

He glances at the Speedeye Boy.

"Him? Okay, I'll try."

He doesn't immediately start walking, seemingly studying him.

"Only good eyesight...", he mutters to himself. "Right."

He then starts walking towards him. Not near him, but actually towards him, purposely entering his line of sight.

Back at the same waterfall she was at before, Mani is meditating.

Speedeye Boy notices him easily, but is a little focused on his… well, nothing. He just seems a little distracted.

"Hm…"

The kid gives the other kid a thumbs up from the sidelines.

Nicole is currently shadowboxing near the Everwhelm Falls, unaware of Mani's presence.

The boy suddenly looks sad, like he's going to cry. His eyes are even getting teary already.

"Um... s-sir?", he asks, his voice sounding a little frightened and very distraught. "I... uh... I hope I'm not b-bothering, but... please... I-I'm lost. My mom and I got attacked here by some really mean men, a-and she had me run away. She told me to meet her at a certain hotel, b-but I can't find it."

He then actually starts to cry.

"I'm really scared, s-she's the only person I have left. I don't know what to do without her. Please help me, I-I'll do anything you want in return!"

Hearing the sounds, Mani opens her eyes and starts to look around for the source, intrigued. Eventually, she spots Nicole, but doesn't immediately approach yet.

While she gets ensnared, she promptly shoot thin beams of blood at her enemies, as an offense.

"Huh?"

His heart catches in his throat.

"Oh, darn... You should, uh, go looking for the police? I think there's a station somewhere around here…"

He gets up off the bench.

The kid seems a little confused, but likes how this strange approach seems to be working.
