Yellow Kirby grabs Darius and does a backwards Judo Throw. Normally, this would not get the Hand of Noxus high enough, but his willingness to take it augments the launch power with Friend Throw, landing him on the first cube. The next 10 or so form what is basically a staircase up to the first white cube.

Yellow Kirby switches to WING and flies up to meet Darius, then to ARCHER.

Since he can't inhale solids, he also can't inhale air, which is how Kirbys normally fly.

"I hope that Draven isn't seeing this." he comments, with something of a grimace. "Thank you for your... contribution." he tells Kirby.

Darius proceeds forward, calmly.

Kirby and Darius make their way up the cubes. Kirby's sense of foreboding increases with each step. Then, while jumping slightly above Darius' head, he sees it.

An inactive machine sits on the back of the white cube. For reference, each white cube is where the path "turns a corner" so to speak. The next grey cube after this is on the left of the white one from where Kirby and Darius are approaching. It has a vaguely shark-like body, with short arms and legless feet. Emblazoned on its forehead is an orange "H" in angular font.

Yellow Kirby recognizes it as one of the mass-produced Metal Generals pink Kirby had told him about. A Haltmann Works Security Force drone. Luckily, it's not the 2.0 version Meta Knight had encountered, nor is it the original Metal General (Yellow Kirby gets another True Arena flashback).

He switches to ESP and warns Darius. "That thing is a Security Force robot. Pink has fought a ton of them already. It's a mass-produced model of a much stronger robot I've fought with Pink and the others before." He then switches back to Archer.

Yellow Kirby is from an alternative interpretation of the timeline where the Kirbys from Amazing Mirror are definitely the same ones as in Return to Dream Land, and all the True Arena bosses took the combined effort of all four Kirbys plus Dedede, Meta Knight, and Bandana Dee to beat.

"A robot ? It looks far more advanced than those... things at Piltover." he says, though he carefully draw his axe. "I have limited experience battling machines. Tell me what it can do."

He doesn't look fearful though, merely curious. Instead of blindly rushing in and smashing the robot, he seems more eager to know the weaknesses and strength of the machine, hinting that he's much smarter than he look, and certainly did not ascend to his current rank by virtue of having a big axe.

Yellow Kirby sighs at having to keep flip-flopping. With ESP, he says, "It can fly, shoot missiles, and summon mini-drones that shoot energy spheres, but its main weapon is a staff of hard light that it can swing really fast like I can with a sword. It has no known weaknesses in particular, but it's also not too durable. Every hit it takes, it shows the damage it took in a number value. When it's damaged to about half its integrity, it gets real mad and goes nuts.

"One more thing. Its mini-drones can be destroyed real easily, and the missiles won't hurt you with their explosions unless they touch you directly. If it hits some kind of wall while flying, it'll be stunned."

Kirby once again switches to ARCHER as he steps onto the white cube.

The Security Force's empty eyes suddenly turn to yellow lights, glaring fiercely as it powers on with an alarm sound blaring.

"Very well." he says, he just figure out that he'll have to see. He heard of those projectiles before, though it'll be his first time seeing them.

He stills the on the cube with confidence !

The Security Force was activated by Yellow Kirby, so of course it targets him first. One of its arms morphs into a cannon shape and fires four homing rockets at him. It then turns its sights on Darius and projects a staff from its other arm, then does a lunging staff swing toward him.

Hard light is not plasma or whatever lightsaber blades are made of. The staff will leave a bludgeoning impact if it hits, while it will be stopped in place or even knocked away if Darius parries it.

Yellow Kirby gets down and erects a Camouflage barrier, resembling a shrub. It does nothing to fool anything, but it does block three of the missiles. However, it is destroyed in the process, and the fourth missile hits Kirby in the face, knocking him back and blackening him with burns and soot.

Darius accomplish a swing with his axe, putting force behind the blow to try and parry the assault. He's admittedly curious about the new weapon, eager to see if his axe can resist it... or if he'll find himself weaponless in front of a war machine.

He pay attention to his yellow comrade, but stay focused on his own fight. He trust that the orb can walk off such an attack.

Axe and staff clash mid-swing for a moment. The Security Force narrows its eyes, and its staff is promptly wrenched sideways as it takes a gash across the forehead. The numbers 49, 57, and 5 pop up over its head as the axe drags across it, meaning it has taken a total of 111 damage. Should the robot take 389 more damage, it will enter phase 2.

After the gash, the Security Force hops backwards twice, then jumps into the air, does a Shuttle Loop, and attempts to ram into Darius from above.

Yellow Kirby gets up, nocks an arrow, and gathers energy. To ensure it is as powerful as possible, he is waiting for Darius' move before he fires, hoping the warrior will distract it before the robot interrupts him.

Darius put his axe up and gather his strength, withstanding the diving attempt. He's unable to strike back though, looking quite shocked at the swiftness of the enemy.

The Security Force bulldozes into Darius, knocking him over. It then air-jumps back on its thrusters and turns its attention to Kirby... only to take a Magic-Star Arrow to the face. 200 damage. 189 HP left in Phase 1. The Security Force responds by getting up real close to Kirby and swinging its staff in a wild flurry.

The multistrike beats Kirby around, but he remains footed. Now, he switches to PLASMA and shoots a single Plasma Needle at Darius' axe. If this works, Darius will receive the power of Zap Cleaver, amplifying his axe strikes with lightning. For example, his Crippling Strike, should he use it, will send an electric current through the Security Force to completely paralyze it for its turn.

He is knocked over but get back up, albeit slowly. Upon getting blessed with a new power, he nods to his combat partner with a nod and dash forward, executing a precise strike with his axe. Instead of wildly swinging around the blade, he goes for a swift yet deadly attack, hoping to strike a weak spot.

The Security Force had its back turned to Darius. He finds his axe buried in one of the thrusters it uses to fly. 140. With a spherical burst of electricity, both thrusters begin hissing, sparking, and smoking, then explode. 159.

The Security Force's eyes turn red as sparks and smoke emit from every crack in its body. It is entering Phase 2 with 450 health remaining instead of 550 like I had planned, and it will be unable to fly, which is good, because it normally starts Phase 2 by flying above the battlefield and bombarding it with electricity.

The robot fires seven missiles. Three go forwards, towards Yellow Kirby. The other four go backwards around it, at Darius.

Yellow Kirby switches to CUTTER, charges up, and throws a Hyper Boomerang... backwards. He jumps over the boomerang as it rebounds, and it slices through the missiles coming at him from behind before it disappears.

Darius winds-up, and accomplish a Decimating Strike to try and wipe out the missiles in one clean sweep.

The missiles explode from Darius' attack before they get close enough to hit him. The Security Force focuses its full attention on the Hand of Noxus, summoning five minidrones that circle over his head. The minidrones will attack after Kirby next round (not this round).

Yellow Kirby switches to FIRE and blows a flame onto Darius' axe, imbuing him with Sizzle Cleaver. A sufficiently strong attack towards a solid surface (like the floor, the Security Force, or Kirby himself) with Sizzle Cleaver will create a large enough explosion to wipe out the drones.

Darius nods and step forward, attempting another Decimating Strike to target the drones !

Though Kirby understands and respects the concept of the Spin Slash, he also isn't sure Darius can do a Twister Slash, and the minidrones aren't sturdy enough for that big impact. The Decimate strikes down two of the five drones, and hits the Security Force again for 150 points of damage.

Yellow Kirby switches to ESP for a second. "I got a plan. I'll give you Blizzard power, then I'll switch to Stone. I know how this works; if you hit me with Ice while I have Stone, I'll turn into a Curling Stone and smash into this robot!" He then switches to ICE and holds his hand up with the heart outline behind him.

The minidrones now each fire a ball of lightning at Darius, then rearrange. One remains over Darius, the other goes to Kirby, and the third hangs over the very center.

"Hm, fair enough;" he says, hitting the Kirby with the flat end of the blade. He does expose himself to the ball of lightning and reel forward, smoke coming out of his back, though the armor is sturdy enough to withstand it.

"Go and succeed !"

You didn't quite play things out in the right way, but I prefer to follow the spirit over the letter.

Darius' axe is coated in a layer of Kirby's frost breath. It turns bluish-white, grows ice spikes, and becomes Blizzard Cleaver. Then Kirby switches to STONE, maintaining the same pose, and morphs into Ice Curling as the axe connects.

The curling stone skids across the platform, trailing a field of sharp ice crystals in its wake. It slams into the Security Force, and the impact knocks Kirby out of his stone shape (not the Stone ability).

No damage is displayed. The Security Force staggers back, its eyes flickering, and collapses in the center of the platform. Its eyes go out, and the minidrones go poof. Kirby switches to ESP. "Wait, Darius, I forgot one more thing..."

A bright blue button slides out of the Security Force's underbelly. It weakly reaches its missile-arm up and slams down on the button.

"It can self-destruct! We've gotta finish it off, quick!"

Darius nods.

"You could have warned me !" he says, before dashing forward, holding his giant axe up and leaping far above the air, swinging his axe down and using Noxian Guillotine to try and finish off his foe, splattering oil, crushed metal parts and what-not across the sky if he succeeds !

"I forgot!" Yellow Kirby repeats. Also, the Blizzard Cleaver effect hasn't gone away yet.

As the Security Force rises up limply into the air, it gathers in energy, beginning to glow orange from the heat and power.

Imagine the following events occurring in slow-motion.

Darius descends, and his Noxian Guillotine begins to cleave the robot clean in half down the middle. The moment the ice on his axe grazes the Security Force's insides, it leaves a bit of residue. In that moment, this frost spreads throughout the Security Force, freezing it into a block of solid ice and terminating the self-destruct sequence.

Time returns to normal. When Darius hits the ground, a shockwave of ice particles erupts across the whole of the platform, actually rocking the cube a bit and blasting the frozen Security Force into pieces that rain (or, more accurately, hail) down upon the base of the mountain. In this shockwave, the Blizzard effect dissipates, leaving Darius with his normal axe.

He glance at his axe and then at Kirby.

"Impressive."

"This is part of why I feel my calling is to meet new people," Kirby says.

"I can offer up so much potential power to anyone willing to take it, and anyone willing to do the same to me will assuredly never be disappointed. By the way, when we first met, I assumed you would give a Kirby the Cutter ability if it copied you, just because of the curved blade. Now, seeing you in action, your moves remind me more of the Sword ability."

He looks to the next series of grey cubes, and the white cube at their end. "So, wanna go all the way to the top with me?"

"Hm. Do I ? I am not much of a swordsman, an axe is a much better tool for my.. job." he says. "But I appreciate your supportive powers."

He point up. "Onward !"

Primordia - Spiralblock Peak, 1st White Cube

Mitch drops in from the sky, gently decelerating a few inches above the ground before dropping. "I heard there was a fight here."
