The man yells in surprise when Joshua suddenly appears, his eyes wide, and he chokes a little. He seems to be holding a piece of paper... and is faintly radiating with energy.
"U-uhm... hi? Are you Joshua, or something?"

*The black-haired man responds with a nod.*
"That would be me. One of them, at any rate. Did someone already tell you of who I am?"
*He doesn't seem to be going for any scans right from the get go, at any rate. Maybe he isn't really the type of person to do that. Instead, he seems fine with standing there, lightly burning while he watches the crystalline-haired fellow.*

"...Well, a woman named Planner told me about you. She said that she recommends you as one of the people who could... help me."
Vibril awkwardly trails off, looking around and biting his lip, before sighing.
"I'm Vibril, by the way."

A black blur is passing through nearby.

*Beat. Joshua just raises an eyebrow briefly, then nods.*
"I see. In that case, perhaps you could describe the situation to me."
*Still not going with a scan. Still burning with blue flame. Why the blue flame, come to think of it? If Vibril takes a look around, he might be able to notice that there generally does seem to be a blue-ish theme going on with the whole mountainfort, what with the blue fire and the blue banners in among the gray stone brick and stone... not-brick.*

"You really like the colour blue, huh."
Vibril blinks when he notices the black blur, tensing and appearing to glow faintly, but he speaks up nonetheless.
"Well, I tend to be hunted down... and used as a power source, for one."

The black blur continue to move on at speed too great for even them to keep up but eventually stop, a black hedgehog standing on its place, holding a green gem.

*Beat.*
"...I guess, yeah."
*Doesn't seem like Joshua was expecting a comment on his colour preferences, instead being more focused about the situation described to him. Admittedly, he also has one eye trained on the black hedgehog, wary just in case he tries something funny...*
"I see. That's... something of a problem. I suppose I'd be familiar with the situation myself if I weren't... rather troublesome for most."
*Beat.*
"So, what is it that you came here to ask me to do about that?"

Beat. Vibril suddenly becomes grim, scowling and shaking his head.
"Just... don't make that mean locking me up or killing me. Anything but that."
The crystal-haired man tenses a little at the sight of Shadow, freezing up and narrowing his eyes.
"What is that?"

He stares back and glance at them, clearly unafraid.

The gem vanish in a green flash, with the being looking satisfied.

*Beat.*
"I see. Rest assured, protecting someone does not tend to involving killing or imprisoning them, in my eyes. That'd defeat the point of protecting them in the first place. Sticking around closer to the fort would make it easier for me to intervene if something happened, though."
*There's a pause. He glances over at Shadow for a moment to watch the green gem disappear, frowning briefly as though he mistook it for something else, then he turns back to Vibril.*
"I suppose I could also see what equipment from the supply I've got stored away might work for you..."

"I guess that can work... but, uhm, what equipment? Can I see, at least?"
Vibril frowns visibly when the figure makes the gem disappear, before quietly closing his eyes, his crystalline hair now starting to pulse...
"Please say just what it is... I'm kind of trying to look for something..."

"By equipment, I'm mostly referring to carried devices. Weaponry, armor, other various gadgetry that ranges in different purposes almost as much as... erm... I don't know where I was taking this metaphor."
*Then, a pause. He has his own suspicions, briefly closing his eyes and vanishing in a flash of blue fire into the mountainfort somewhere, then returning shortly enough.*
"Hm. What is it that you are seeking?"

Calvin is sitting near the base. He's not doing much.
"Eh... it's a pretty nice day, I guess..."
The Sky
Asura is falling from the sky, having been punched by the giant Buddha again.
The doors of the base suddenly open up, and none other than Greyface pops out, holding onto papers and looking around, which lets him notice Calvin. He walks out and the doors close behind him as he takes a better look at Calvin and recognizes his design.
"Huh? ... hey, aren't you a..."
He looks nervous.
"D-did Giegue send a robot to check up on me? I have been gone for some time... oh no..."
Asura may suddenly land on something that feels hard and metallic. ... But he'll find that he's not standing on anything, yet there seems to be something solid underneath him.
In the year 202X, all is devastation... Soon, any last shred of hope had by the saintliest optimist shall die and decay.

Calvin appears confused.
Asura lands on the invisible platform and looks around.
"Hmm. That's convenient.". He thinks to himself.
Greyface looks relieved.
"Oh, good... if he knew I was in a state like this he'd kill me... um... you see, in my world he's still very much active... um..."
He looks a little lost.
"... Sorry, I'm not all that confident when it comes to talking to people I'm not familiar with... um... should probably introduce myself... I'm Pokey Minch... maybe you've heard of me?"
Upon looking around, Asura will find no indicator of where there's a solid surface to walk on and where he'd fall off. He's going to have to be very careful.
A ki blast suddenly blasts the ground in front of Zelerie. Judging from the angle, it came from above.

*The one observing him takes a long time to observe in silence, then briefly closes his own eyes. A few flames flash up and around him before dying down again, the observer having now disappeared... then proceeds to appear in front of the crystalline-haired person in a flash of blue flame, thankfully distant enough that the flame wouldn't end up catching on him. There's a pause.*
"It's not often that I receive a visitor."
