"Even so, it's still a pretty damn impressive feat of construction. Anyway, nice to meet ya, Makafa. Hope the interior decoration won't be too difficult."
Nicole looks at Neuff.
"Pizza got your tongue, Neuffie?"
"Won't be too hard, I hope." Makafa replies, grabbing another piece of the former building from the ground. She begins to put it into place, like she had done with the other pieces. If one looks around the ground, they might see a relatively old and lightly damaged logo that seems to fit on top of one of the pieces nearby. Said logo reads as "MYSTIC SQUARE TOURISM COMPANY".
"Yeah, it's a damn good one."
Fallout 2? More like Fallout 2 bad.Nicole takes note of the logo.
"Mystic Square Tourism Company... any chance they're your employers, Makafa?"
He turns to Neuff.
"Doesn't mean you can't still hold a conversation with someone else while enjoying the pizza."
"Indirectly, yes. Has to do with world creators and entire dimensions."
« Ho wow, entire dimensions ? »
« Hm huh. I just wanna finish it before Jam smells it and run there to finish it. »
Fallout 2? More like Fallout 2 bad.Nicole lets out a low whistle.
"Dang... world creators and entire dimensions ain't what I thought would be associated with this building at first. Guess even godlike beings need to pay the bills sometimes, though."
Nicole raises an eyebrow at Neuff.
"Jam's part-bloodhound? I mean, I dunno where she is right now, but from how far away can she smell?"
"Less of a 'paying the bills' kinda thing and more of a 'second try'. Last time we tried this... didn't work out too well, to say the least." She picks up the logo, unusually easily, and places it on a hook near the top of the front side of the building.
"You seems casual about it, heh."
"Well she can sense very far, and so do I. It's something we control."
Fallout 2? More like Fallout 2 bad."Ah. I'm tempted to ask exactly what happened, but... I think the state that logo's in gives me a good enough idea. But if you wanna gets into the details, I'm all ears."
Nicole looks at Neuff, then nods.
"Ah, right, it's a Sister thing. Not sure how I could've forgotten that."
She holds up a finger.
"Don't make an old lady joke about that, by the way, Neuffie. I can practically see you thinking one up in your head."
"Ha, clever girl !"
Fallout 2? More like Fallout 2 bad."It's been how long now? 10, 15-some years now..." She thinks, before talking. "Yeah, I don't feel like I could really tell you all that much about what happened. I'm only a resident, after all."
"Fair enough. Wouldn't mind hearing what you do know about the incident, though."
Nicole turns to Neuff, then smiles before tousling her hair.
"What can I say, I know you well, Neuffie. And was that a Jurassic Park reference? Because if I was, I totally understood it."

She let Nicole do.
"Ha, I see that you know your references."
Fallout 2? More like Fallout 2 bad."Surprised that this "old lady's" up to speed on her pop culture references?"
Nicole flashes a grin at Neuff.
"And if you'll let me get off-topic for a bit, there's a girl from my world I was pretty close friends with who you kinda remind me of."
"Red haired badass ?"
Fallout 2? More like Fallout 2 bad."Blonde, actually. Her name was Alexa, or Lexy, as I liked to call her. She was a tomboy with lightning powers who was definitely a badass, as well as one of the nicest people you could ever hope to meet."
Nicole smiles.
"Yeah, I'm positive you two would get along well."
"Ha, puns ! Well, it sounds more like Tammy !"
Fallout 2? More like Fallout 2 bad."Maybe later."
On mobile and at appointment. Sorry for delay.
"What do you mean pu-oh, now I get it! That wasn't an intentional pun, though. But back to Lexy, yeah, she guess she does have a lot in common with Tamlyn, too, especially when it comes to hair color."
Nicole pauses for a moment, then continues.
"Still, you've gotta admit, she is pretty damn similar to you as well, Neuffie."
She nods to Makafa.
"Suit yourself."

"Yeah, I feel like there would be a good current between us."
Fallout 2? More like Fallout 2 bad."Heh, looks like someone's pun game is on point today. But yeah, Lexy'd get along with you and Tammy in a heartbeat, no questions about it."
Nicole strokes her chin thoughtfully.
"Hell, I'm pretty sure she's actually been here a few times before. Yeah, I definitely remember seeing her here in the flesh at least once. For reference, she has long blonde hair and wears mostly dark clothing with a black hat."

"I prefer bright clothing but ok ! I'll try to find Tamlyn so as to get an interaction... though maybe we'll punch each other a bit before."
Fallout 2? More like Fallout 2 bad."Yeah, how about you and Tammy not get into a brawl for no good reason? Most friends don't greet each other by beating the shit outta each other."
Nicole rolls her eyes before continuing.
"Oh, and there's something you really oughta know about Lexy: she might not remember who I am, since after I was mysteriously booted from my world, I learned that a few other people there kinda forgot I even existed, like I was retconned from exsistence. Turns out Lexy was apparently among those people."
She scratches the back of her head nervously.
"Yeah... it's hella weird. And that one time I saw her here, I kinda made it a point to avoid being seen by her because I feared that if I didn't, well... things would've gotten fuckin' awkward. But don't let that stop you or Tammy from meeting and befriending her, should she ever show up here again."
The Arcane half-dragon lets out a sigh.
"Hell, I think it's been long enough that I could see about befriending her all over again. Maybe, and this is a real Hail Mary mixed with wishful thinking, I might somehow be able to jog her memory."
She keeps eating.
"Damn, it's real good."
