As far as I can tell, this is the exact same thing as Comic-Book Time, only related to Webcomics. The only difference I can tell is that Webcomic Time is "time happened slower in the story than in the real world", which still feels to similar.

And if it must be its own trope, I recommend changing the snow clone title because this applies to plenty of serial media, not just webcomics.

Read them more carefully, please: Comic-Book Time is "as little as possible is done to tie any episode/arc/book to a particular time, in order to allow the writers to work without having to keep to an established timeline."

Webcomic Time is "Time passes slower within the work than in realtime — it may take days, weeks or even months in Real Time to cover the occurances of a single day in the comic."

These are not anywhere near being duplicates.

Regarding the proposed namechange, while we don't encourage snowclone names, "It's a snowclone" is insufficient in itself to warrant a name change. You offer no evidence that the name is damaging the use of the trope. If you want to argue that it's overly restrictive, the best way to do that is to demonstrate that it's underused. Bit with 355 wicks and over 1500 inbounds, that's going to be a tall order.

Declining to open.
