Battleworld [Discussion Thread]

Entering Lord Business' world wouldn't turn you into LEG Os, but I think the people in that chunk will be people-sized. Well, not completely people-sized, more, like... up to the waist/chest of an average-sized person.

*thinks of Xion's potential reaction* Oh yes, I am going to love this.

I know I'm not officially in, but I've got a second wind coming on, and I'd like some opinions.

Artemis Fowl, maybe? For those familiar with the series, if I had New Haven brought in, would it remain underground or no?

Took a lot longer to type up due to a busy day, but my application is finally up.

No Touhou domination from my part, I'm afraid. The characters didn't make it through the power barrier.

So, have some Fire Emblems instead.

I'm gonna be posting soon the sheet for my GMPC- Kuvira and the Earth Empire- but so far I have a few GMNP Cs which will be spread throughout the map. They will be antagonistic, neutral or heroic.

So far, we have City 17, New York City, Bricksburg, Beach City and Central City. Also, maybe, just maybe, a House.

Since those characters are NP Cs, they won't have sheets, and we won't follow them all the time. However, they'll be available for alliances, wars, treacherous deals, birthday parties and all. I'm going to leave these very open, since they'll serve as possible antagonists/allies in case the plot calls for it, but I expect much of the interaction to come from the players.

I had to nerf Marisa to get her into a better power level. No Mini-Hakkero, no Master Spark and variants. Still plenty of lasers though

I was offered to play Utsuho without nuclear powers. Decided it was easier to play a different Chunk.

My poor little band of merchants and medieval adventurers are going to be so outclassed at this rate it's funny :P

Armoured Knights who have true grit / Roast more quickly on a spit.

Perhaps they should make the Big Empty their first stop (if the finished map allows them to do so) to pick up some more advanced toys.

We'll see what happens when we see the map!

Though now I'm imaging some poor sap pointing his new fancy toy the wrong direction the first time...

My interest has been rekindled! I probably won't do Golden Sun again, since they have way too many powers to use. Hmm... Maybe use Infamous Second Son? Also, my sheet won't be in for a few days, since I'm still on vacation with no easy computer access.

Strat, is it okay if I have two Main Characters instead of one? It's mainly because the two are both leaders within their respective groups, and they work together a lot.

So here's what we're gonna do.

I'm finishing the map, but what I'm going to do is that I'm gonna post it here, and every chunk will have numbers. You guys will claim spots for your chunks. There are already spots with natural settings (ocean, swamp, forest, etc). After that, I will come in and spread the NPC chunks and my chunk. This will leave space open for future chunks from players and GM alike.

Everyone OK with that?

Sounds good. I thought you said certain people were neighboring each other, though.

Yes, but I realized that this lead to the already owned chunks crowding around each other and the natural resources and the future chunks being on the outskirts of the map, which didn't really feel fair to me.

Uhm, nobody said I wasn't a part of this yet, so I'm gonna throw in my two cents and say I did not understand that at all. But I'm sure I'll get it. If I'm in this.
